ZipRecruiter Continues to Help Me Find Jobs
Overall, ZipRecruiter is a great recruitment tool in comparison to sites like Monster or LinkedIn. I have already recommended this site to many friends with success.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter helped me find my way to a permanent full-time position after working as a temp agent for a number of years. And now, ZipRecruiter is an excellent tool to build upon what I learned and find a another permanent position that suits my needs
Inconvénients
The application process set up by employers could be facilitated. I found myself answering questions on ZipRecruiter for certain companies, only to find that there is another questionnaire or application process sent to my email afterwards. It would've been convenient to complete the entire application process on one medium, instead of making clients double their workload on different sites.

Easy job seeking tool
It was easy to use, but the results did note come back as desired. I did get a couple of interviews from all the applications I submited.
Avantages
I found many job postings using ZipRecruiter. It is easy to use, very straight forward. It even recommended me jobs I could have ignored in other websites. You can easily apply to jobs once your information is in there with the Quick Apply button. You can review all your job applications, and see the messages from the recruiters or potential employers that are interested.
Inconvénients
I received a lot of alerts and emails from ZipRecruiter, and many of the cases it wouldn't be something important. Sometimes I would receive messages from staffing agencies that offered me a job of something I was not interested in, and the messages seemed very bot compiled.

My overall experience with ZipRecruiter is great. I would recommend this to my student and everyone I know looking for a job.
Avantages
The best thing about ZipRecruiter is once you created a profile there are so many jobs you can just click once to apply which is very awesome and time saving compared to some of the other platform where you get directed to the company site and asked to fill out an application which could take hours and never get a call or an interview.
Inconvénients
So far there is nothing I don't like about this website, although I do suggest one improvement is that some of the jobs on there when I tried to apply for it because it says I am a good match, I never got a call from the company or even an email.

ZipRecruiter - Poor Candidates and Constant annoying sales calls
Avantages
The UI was very easy to use. It was easy to post job openings and then replicate those job openings to create additional job openings.
Inconvénients
ZipRecruiter provides 1-Click Apply functionality to its job seekers. This may be good for job seekers but it really stinks for someone looking to hire. Employers end up with a mountain of applicants that A) aren't really interested, or B) are a really poor fit. Many of the candidates don't even respond when we reach out to them. Its like there are masses of ghost candidates posting job application responses. It took so much time to weed out this ghost responses that we ended up terminating ZipRecruiter and going with another company.
In addition, if you dare sign up with ZipRecruiter expect a barrage of upsell calls from their sales teams. They will call you every month or even every week trying to upsell you on stuff. What is crazy to me is they continued to try to upsell us even when they knew we were not happy with the base service we had.
Finally, when we had had enough and called to cancel they treated us like badly when we canceled then hung up on us. Crazy!
There are so many job posting boards/platforms out there, I can't see how they are keeping customers. I expect their churn rate must be very very high.

I think this is a great tool for recruiters and managers alike, as it makes the recruiters' job pretty simple and gives them multiple tools to improve their workflow while providing managers with easy coaching information to build their recruiting team even more.
Avantages
I love the built-in metrics for recruiters that let me see what's working and what's not. I can see inbound applications and outbound follow up, active recruiting numbers, historical statistics and easily coach my recruiters.
Inconvénients
Customer Support could use some improvements, as it's not always as easy to get answers when they're needed.

Generated lots of leads, most of which were not stellar
I would use it for a job that I wanted to have high visibility.
Avantages
It allowed us to post a job very quickly. The post had high visibility and we had lots of candidates apply.
Inconvénients
It generated so many applicants that it was actually a bit of a hassle to weed through. Our better candidates came through smaller more industry-specific channels such as business associations, city committees, etc. Also, we had a separate application on our website applicants were required to complete, and Zip-recruiter made it harder to communicate the necessity of this additional document.

Easy to use
Hiring goes a lot smoother because the job posting pops up with other relevant postings. They show up in regular emails when the applicants are looking for jobs.
Avantages
It connects to your email and other social media accounts. It notifies you when your job applications are viewed. It suggests similar jobs that are relevant to the jobs the applicant has applied to. Unlike other software these jobs are actually relevant to the applicants skills they have stated in their profile.
Inconvénients
There does not seem to be high standards on the companies that are allowed to post jobs. There are a lot of MLM and pyramid scheme companies that advertise as if they are legitimate jobs with misleading language. It discourages some applicants from using the site as it makes them doubt the legitimacy of all postings.

Avantages
It gives ease to recruiting. Ziprecruiter allows you to do job postings wherein the active applicants will simply apply on your post. In adition, they also have resume database wherein you can do sourcing of candidates. You can filter resumes by entering key words, job titles, and resumes recently posted. Majority of the resumes that you can find here are not on the other job boards. Totally fresh leads.
Inconvénients
Few filters unlike other job boards in the market. Applicants can apply even though they are not qualified. I hate the idea that when you open a candidate's resume, you still need to click view full resume button. It is time consuming because sometimes you will need to wait for the resume to load up. Has lot of things to improve compare to other job boards.

Their AI technology is fantastic and are familiar with any application you've received, but the support response needs improvements. Overall, they work really hard of following and revealing status geared for your organization.

Straightforward job engine
ZipRecruiter is a straightforward and easy way to find a new career and/or find employees for your business.
Avantages
I've came across ZipRecruiter about a year ago when beginning a new job search. The search function allows you to narrow your job based on many factors I.e. location, industry, salary. This is a huge plus in the fact that you can eliminate any job that doesn't fit your needs. Another great factor is that ZipRecruiter will notify you if an employer has reviewed your resume. No longer do you have to worry if it has been seen or not.
Inconvénients
The overall interface could be much cleaner and visually appealing. Neon green words can be hard on the eyes.

I've worked with ZipRecruiter for 4 years and have found great candidates on the site. I will continue to use them in the future.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter allows you to post ads for specific jobs so you find the right candidates. It allows you to customize the ads so you reach exactly who you're looking for. Once you publish your ad it sends it to different platforms so you can a wider demographic. You can also interact with candidates who have applied to your positions or search for top candidates through their resume database and invite them to apply.
Inconvénients
Sometimes there are candidates that slip through without a resume, even though you've checked the box to accept only candidates with resumes. Sometimes when they update the site it makes it difficult to connect the software to my applicant stream.

ZipRecruiter To the Rescue!
My overall experience with ZipRecruiter was a positive one. If you're looking for a strong tool to connect your company to candidates with specific skillsets, this is the tool. I was able to find and fill a need in a particularly difficult industry to find high level analytical persons but Zip was able to locate very strong candidates that I wouldn't have seen through the regular channels. Thanks Zip!
Avantages
The aspects of the software I enjoyed the most are the user friendliness and organization of the different capabilities. I was in a tough situation trying to tediously find candidates and once I got a hold of utilizing zipRecruiter , I was in a much better position. Zip allowed me review more appropriate candidates that fit my area of needs. Not only did it find the right candidate for me, that candidate continues to grow and I believe it's because Zip was able to connect my needs with the candidates skill sets.
Inconvénients
What I liked least about the software was the abundance of communications I would receive as alerts. This is a setting but it took me a few attempts to be able to control the amount coming my way. Yes, I was happy that I was being alerted but it felt no different than the generic approach of receiving emails.

I appreciate the application updates on the upper side of the jobs I applied with another thing and it’s basically a common feature of every job search app but I like it more With ZipRecruiter is the profile - it’s simple and neat to look at
Inconvénients
The logo is kind of confusing and needs to be updated and incorporate the word ZipRecruiter in it. When you download the app it will appear as ‘Jobs / Job Search’ not ZipRecruiter

Unworthy Candidates Downgrades This Job Site
As an administrator on ZipRecruiter for the previous 1.5 years, this job posting website is very user friendly. I wish the candidates that create their accounts on there would at least have a contact phone number, email address, and an uploaded résumé BEFORE they apply for a job. We have had too many candidates who are missing one of those important things, or all of them.
Avantages
The user interface is great! The dashboard gives me a broad view of 6 different options that I can choose from including 'Post a Job' and which candidates have applied to my job(s) in 'Candidates'.
I like how easy it is to edit my job, edit my screening questions, and to preview the job posting. You can even have the option to email all of your candidates at one-time, but that's a feature I have not used yet.
Inconvénients
Screen the candidates that apply to my job posting(s) better please. I've had candidates who have applied to my job(s) without even uploading a résumé, and a few times where they don't have a contact phone number or an email address. Can these candidates have a résumé uploaded first, and have a valid phone number and email, at least, before applying to anybody's job posting?

Product is easy and straight forward and to the point. It was a breeze implementing it with my business needs.

Takes the stress out of matching qualified candidates
My overall experience has been good however, I am always seeking products to help generate a more profitable bottom line. I like to shop and compare so I shall consider the features of other companies. Then I will have made the right choice for my needs.
Avantages
I have been a recruiter for many years and this software to track and manage candidates makes my job a lot easier. The response rate has been awesome. I am able to track and streamline various jobs and still achieve a higher degree of competence to match the potential placement.
Inconvénients
The time that it takes to submit information can become very time-consuming. Sometimes I just don't have the freedom to spend much more than a brief time doing this. Unfortunately, my biggest peeve is in regard to customer care and speaking with their agents.

The Recruiters really liked it and thought it was easy to use for searching for candidates and the database, as well as keeping track of candidates for certain jobs but there was quite a few things that would have really helped and we would have kept it longer if they had them sooner. Demo i recently had - they have upgraded and changed some of the things we were wanting.
Avantages
It was easy to view and search for resumes/candidates as well as keep their information/resumes in order and easy tracking or database The recruiters really liked it.
Inconvénients
After we quit using Zip recruiter they actually adding quite a few things we noticed were missing or things that would have made the app way easier to use. unfortunately it was about a year after we quit using it.

I don't care for not having the ability to conveniently personalize your resume to the job posting. I sometimes feel like I'm in a herd of cattle waiting to be viewed.

I have used this to find my preferred types if temporary or contract positions.
Avantages
Easy to use.
Updates on recent ooen positions daily.
Software picks up jobs that habe been applied for and sends information to generate job posts.
Inconvénients
Would like an easier way to indicate a job selection sent is not accurate. It is great to oick up certain job applications but sometimes the application was only for that particular job but not the entire genre of jobs.

It is average, I will be trying out Indeed's resume database next year.
Avantages
I like that there are resumes populated daily not weekly. I like that there you can use different key words in your search.
Inconvénients
I don't like that you can't search by state or if they are relocatable. This is important as I am in a niche industry.

Ziprecruiter is one of the most comprehensive and if not a all in one solution to your recruiting needs. It allows you to search and keep track of all candidates that you are currently working on and has worked on in the past. ZipRecruiter also offers a wide array of coverage in terms of industries.

Zip Recruiter Can Still Hold Their Own
Over my experience with ZipRecruiter has been sastisfactory, not over-the-top or totally disatisfied. I would continue to use the software, however I tend to use Indeed.com as my first choice, then followed by Ziprecruiter.
Avantages
One of the pros of this software is that it is free for those individuals searching for jobs, as well as for employers looking to recruit job applicants. Another pro of this software is that it is overall user friendly, even for individuals who are not that computer literate or tech saavy.
Inconvénients
One of the cons of this software is that the job recruiter or job seeker will receive an email about a specific job, usually with an enticing candidate or enticing salary and when redirected to the website it is difficult to locate the candiate or job that was featured in the email. Another con of this software is that is does not easily let the job seeker filter jobs according to category and/or salary (This is a nice feature that Indeed.com offers).

Good for connecting with entry level candidates
Overall I have had a positive experience with ZipRecruiter and I would like to see them offer candidate outreach on par with other major competitors.
Avantages
I have found that ZipRecruiter has been instrumental in connecting us with entry level candidates. Their resume database is quite sizable and provides a lot of opportunities to source candidates for more niche roles with a specific skillset. In my dealings with representatives from ZipRecruiter, I have found them to be very informative and responsive.
Inconvénients
Some of the suggested resumes and applicants are off base in terms of their qualifications. I think a lot can be done in the way of improving AI and filtering.
I would like to see an increase in users beyond entry level candidates. I also find that ZipRecruiter is not as effective compared to other job boards when you are looking to connect with international candidates.

I like the alerts and other options that Zip Recruiter offers in terms of looking for work, which I did do in the past through them. I also like the platform in finding someone for my business as well.
Inconvénients
I have not issues with Zip Recruiter at this time. I have not had any problems searching for work in the past through them or looking for someone for my business now.

Best software for any job
For. The price and what ZipRecruiter does, it is a very good price, easy to use, and they also send you suggestions to see if you like how they are doing as well as to see if your interested in the info the send you on your alerts.
Avantages
Zip recruiter is the best job classified fsoftware. You just put in what your looking for and sign up for alerts and it sends you daily alerts. If you add your resume on it, all you have to do is apply with 1 click. Very easy to use.
Inconvénients
I really didn't have anything that I did not like about zip recruiter. It has helped me so much to get clients to notice me and set up interviews. I love using it.

Good platform, but not a great pool for certain positions
Overall, I had no real problems with using the platform, posting, following up, etc. It just was not a good fit for us.
Avantages
We used Ziprecruiter to hire for a very specific job posting a few times, and we also used them for some broader postings. Neither was a simple entry level or intern position. We found what limited search functionality was afforded us to be helpful and easy to use. Posting was fairly simple. I didn't have much issue checking responses and following up.
Inconvénients
In our case, we didn't get to see much of the database. All of that went through the agent. From what we did see, there was a large candidate pool. However the posting never yielded a fully viable candidate on any front. We received many promising applications, but we did not have fruitful interviews or correspondence with them. Ultimately, we went with head hunters and temp-to-hire agencies. A company with more general requirements may find in the platform excellent value though.

Receive too many solicitations
My overall experience has not been productive. I have gained employment on other job boards but never through ZipRecruiter.`
Avantages
The ease of applying for a job is the thing I like the most about this job board site. It is not difficult to set up your job searches.

Solicitations. I need a pay check ; I do not need to spend money. Way to many job suggestions that have nothing to do with my qualifications

Not the best solution when recruiting
I would still say neutral, we still did receive some applicants that were good fits - although we had to sift through a lot of sub par resumes (albeit that happens across the board with other industries as well!)
Avantages
I think it’s easy to set up new job postings and the feature where some of the main points/descriptives for a job are automatically filled in to help you in writing the job description. Also, I liked the feature where it would show you a median salary for the job you are posting for the area the job is in.
Inconvénients
There were several cons...
• The great matches they show you are sometimes completely irrelevant to the job you are posting. This goes down to receiving what should be a match only to see that the applicant has not even submitted a resume! I think their algorithm is off.
• I found that anyone that I tried emailing direct from the platform to request an interview never received my emails. I ended up wasting time waiting to hear back - and when calling to follow up on multiple candidates, they all confirmed no emails were received and not even in their junk folder.
• Targeted and promoted jobs yielded nothing for us even when talking with customer service first.

I made many great hires with ZipRecruiter
Overall, ZipRecruiter is a helpful tool in recruiting all levels of job candidates. I made many hires using ZipRecruiter and I highly recommend it.

-Customer Service-2nd to none
-Pricing flexibility-both in terms of actual cost and subscription length
-Resume database (many job boards don't have this)
-Matching algorithms that match potential candidates to your job description
Inconvénients
-Resume database-I listed this as a 'Pro' but there are also limitations. It's most certainly better than Monster's resume data base but you're limited to 20 resume contacts per month, otherwise you only see a limited version of the resume. You can get around this by inviting candidates to apply. However, in this job market I didn't get that many responses to my invites.

It gets the jobs filled
ZipRecruiter has helped us fill our sales positions on a regular basis. We get to filter out who is a really good candidate for the positions very easily.
Avantages
We love using ZipRecruiter because it gets candidates into our office to be interviewed and then hired. I love how it lets you use pre-screening questions.
Inconvénients
There is not much that is not liked about it except maybe the organization for getting candidates sent to certain users. Maybe create a team for each area that get's to see the applicants for that job posting.

It's whatever to be honest
Recruitment, Job hiring, etc, didn't really go anywhere. I rather use craigslist.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter has a fine interface. And honestly that's about it.
Inconvénients
ZipRecruiter is PLAGUED by fake job postings, fake users. It's a real pain in the butt. The company constantly over-sales how good their algorithm is but to this DAY does not fix any issues to curtail fake posts.

Great Job Hunting Site
I was looking for employment, and it was a fast and easy way to apply for multiple jobs.
Avantages
I liked the one click application feature. Once you have a profile set up, if a company does not require an outside application you can just apply for the job with a single click. This allowed me to apply for many jobs quickly.
Inconvénients
I did not always get emails when someone had messaged me in the software. I had my setting turned on for notifications, but sometimes would not see the messages till I logged in. It would be helpful if a notification would go out every time a message is sent to a user.

Subpar Career Search Service
Overall per the title, I rate ZipRecruiter as subpar. There are comparable mediums such as Indeed and Monster that provide more transparency, and allow for more self-advocacy for the job seekers in their search for the next role. I believe ZipRecruiter could be a good tool if it was used to find organizations that were searching for roles, and using other means to execute the actual application.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter makes it easy to find potential opportunities. It presents other positions that are similar to one that you applied and/or searched for. Lastly, ZipRecruiter provides A LOT of positions, so they feature a good amount of variety.
Inconvénients
ZipRecruiter doesn't really function like other more prominent search sites. After setting up your account, it only allows you to apply to positions using "1-Click Apply" which automatically submits your designated resume on file. Although this feature allows for churning out applications in a production-line-style speed and efficiency, it doesn't allow an applicant to customize their resume to a role. Moreover, their role-availability push emails are excessive. ZipRecruiter will send numerous emails in one day, and although it allows you to see varying roles, it's too much. Lastly, ZipRecruiter lacks in follow up on roles applied for. That is the case when it comes to applying in general as 60% of organizations won't respond to your application in general, as the firm who hosts the positions, they don't send an alert letting you know a position that you applied for has expired or been filled.

Job search streamline
Overall very happy with the app. Minor glitches while switching inbetween pages and search. The design could be further made simple and the clutter on job search should be removed. Ads hurt the main page as it makes it difficult for the user to find jobs. The job search suggestions is helpful but the suggestions are not as great.
Avantages
The beauty with which the software application streamlines the job search process is amazing. It provides other similar job options that helps me diversify my job search. The suggestion tool is really powerful with zip recruiting. Really easy to navigate the website as well as the app. Since the resume is uploaded the setup time is really low to apply to many new jobs. This makes the job search process really easy, fast and efficient.
Inconvénients
There are a lot of false advertising, fake ads which makes is harder for users to filter through all the junk. The number of email that zip recruiter sends to users is also a large part of that junk. Some of the job suggestion are highly diverse, sometimes diverse to a point that it does not match my interest nor my keywords.

Avantages
As stated in the title I have used Zip Recruiter to hire employees and I have also used it to acquire a job. I highly recommend Zip Recruiter for both hiring and getting hired. This is a simple and straight forward for both.
As far as using this to hire employees it is competitive on pricing and had some high quality applicants. We used this to hire an office admin and a developer. I can't remember what we paid but I want to say it was one of the cheapest job recruitment companies. We received over 200 applicants for the office admin position. It is a simple process of scanning through applicants. You can mark the ones you are interested in and the ones you are not.
I was able to find a job on Zip Recruiter from a high quality employer. Finding a job is pretty easy and straight forward. You can search companies, titles, roles, etc. You can be notified by jobs you might be interested in. Once you upload your resume and update your profile most of the jobs you can apply with a one click process.
The application for IOS and Android is one of the best things about this. It was simple to use to scan through all of the applicants and useful to be able to do it anywhere. Looking for jobs on the app was clear and straightforward. It is a clean and well developed app.
Inconvénients
I honestly cannot thing of one thing that I did not like about Zip Recruiter. I highly recommend the product to everyone.

Avantages
I use ZipRecruiter for job researches related to my expertise. It is free to use for job seekers. One can apply online for some jobs, though ziprecruiter itself. It also informs the status of my applications throughout the process, at the same time provides new job leads.

Doesn't live up to its promises
- We were hoping to be able to solve having more visibility across hiring channels for less, but that unfortunately not been our experience thus far. We will give it more time, but may have to switch back to our old model.

- We haven't seen very much traction with ZIpRecruiter - it still only represents 2-3% of overall inbound applications. We saw a significant decline in inbound applicants when we made the switch, so we added back in our prior platforms.
- Customer service isn't the most knowledge and is more of a sales team
