I have a Business and sometimes I need to look for employees ZipRecruiter allows me to do that in a very convenient way. The things that impress me about the service are that you can download the app to your mobile device or you can use the service with a desktop PC. So if you need access you have it no matter where you are. The app is super easy to use and contains all of the information you need to know about jobs that are available. Another really nice feature is that when you set up a profile you can get automatically matched with jobs and have notifications and emails sent to your phone or computer that there is a possible match. Finally, the application process when applying for a job is super easy sometimes as simple as a single click!

For Employers, you can actually set up a set of questions to pre-screen to test individuals applying to a position. This can give you detailed information about the applicant and whether they may be a good fit, and this saves a lot of time.

I haven’t found any Cons to the service, everything is really good about this service. I can say that if you choose to use the mobile app and you get a lot of interest in your listed position the notifications can get a little annoying, but this is a personal preference and can be turned off if needed.

Most of the feature of the app are at per with a quality hr and agencying app for recruiting.

For this i will be honest am not sure.but i think adding a talent crawler for the web would do.

Before using ZipRecruiter, hiring for our small company was a pain. We tried going to job fairs, ads in the paper as well as free ads on sites like Craigslist. All of these tasks took a lot of resources and time, while yielding very little results. Over six months, we were only able to get about 6 candidates who matched what we really wanted in a candidate for the job. We then decided to use ZipRecruiter. Within two months we were able to save hours of time, while getting double the qualified candidates. This software has changed the way we hire and we are grateful!

What I like least about the software is the customer service. It may have been a one time thing, but when I called the experience was terrible. We had some log in issues and like most websites it is impossible to reset the password without calling the customer service line. When I called the operator, she was extremely short and I felt rushed. While I was one the phone, I was asking about ways to keep making our job applications more efficient (as long as I was already calling). The operator kept referring me to articles, but not being polite or personable. I understand you have to keep it rolling, but customer service should not be a thing you cut corners on.

Easy to recruit potential candidates since Zip does the legwork in doing the background work on each candidate.

Nothing since we haven't had any issued with the recruiting process while using Zip for a while now.

Sometimes it sends jobs that don't really apply to you; but, most of the time it's spot on.

Was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. From the user-friendly interface to the wide range of job postings, this site made the process of finding my next career move a breeze. One of the standout features was the personalized job recommendations based on my profile and previous searches.

Assuming you fail to remember the password word and the framework lock you out you need to stand by 24 hours to determine so you burn through all that time and cash since you paid during the current day however you will not get the opportunity to answer your competitors quickly enough.

It's very expensive compared to indeed and other sites and the sales reps are very aggressive with calls and letters in the mail.

Pricing- expensive for what it is. Old pricing was a better model. Unfortunately, not much competition to displace it though, so still a must use.

They are good at connecting to other applicant tracking software platforms. They do pretty well with the sites they advertise on.

It would be nice if they were more cost beneficial for us. Not sure if it’s the volume they produce that leads to higher costs but that could improve.

The simplicity in the usage and the fact that it saves time within the process of hiring, it's a very good site I have been recommending for organizations and individuals.
It is totally user friendly in short.

There is absolutely nothing I have seen that isn't good about zip recruiter, it has always performed satisfactorily for me.

What I like most about Zip Recruiter is that it takes your posts and puts them out to a few recruiting sites, but eliminates the need to visit any site other than it's own. I like that you can choose how many listings you can have at one time. I like that you can target which cities you would like to recruit in. I like that it integrates with your email platform, and I also like that you can create templates to streamline emailing your recruits while following your process flow.

The thing that I like least about Zip Recruiter is that sometimes markets can be too saturated for what you're looking for, and if you are working with a team, it's hard to know who has already been contacted until you reach out to a recruit yourself and they tell you they've already spoken with someone.

It was easy to set up a profile and post a job. Customer service was fantastic. When I would call I got a real person on the phone.

It was difficult to access candidate information. I would reach out and the messages were sent to a ZipRecuiter created email for the candidate, not their actual personal email. So unless they checked into the app constantly, it was hard to get in touch with people to set up interviews to get information.

What I like about the software is that I can reach many talent individuals faster and I am not spinning looking for candidates. Help with the weeding

Only area of concern is that sometimes it may send me a lot of candidates that are too qualified when I am looking for a medium candidates

I like the effectiveness of being able to narrow down what I am looking for when hiring people or even when looking for jobs that are open. The product gives ample options that help to narrow your results to locations, years worked, the timeframe of the post being up, and so much more.

Inconvénients

The only con I have is that some of the postings are from 30+ days ago and these jobs happen to be closed. I think that is they were removed it would create an even better query when searching for jobs or even posting them so they do not get mixed with the postings that are no longer active.

Zip recruiter is an easy software to use, and also quit easy to access. Getting started and applying was simple.

I was able to set up an account and easily apply for jobs. The only problem was I didn't get any call back, but received constant unwanted leads and annoying msgs.

After moving to a new place I really needed to find a job. I was basically starting my life over and needed help finding a job that she did my skills. I moved to San Francisco and found myself in a sea I couldn’t navigate without help. I couldn’t navigate without help. If it wasn’t for Zip Recruiter streamlining all the jobs that fit my skill set of working with children living with special needs I would be lost.

I don’t have any cons as of yet. But if I come up with one I’ll definitely come back and change my review.

It's easy to operate and usage of this fantastic experience. It's very easy to communicate with recruiter and connected in quick time. Very easy to open profile and manage it with hassle free features.

ZipRecruiter sends me emails with half a dozen or more jobs every day. It does a pretty good at filtering them for the skills found in my resume as well as those specified explicitly on their site. Of course, automated filtering will produce false positives, but I would say ZipRecruiter has a rate of less than 10%.

ZipRecruiter has a virtual 'recruiter' that appears as the sender of the job listings. Those from that source are particularly poorly filtered. Also, at first this feature gave me the idea that an actual person was working for me, but the feature became clear after a few instances.

I liked that ZipRecruiter has one of the highest reaches in regards to talent acquisition. I received many applicants.

Inconvénients

However, the applicants I received were not correlated with what I was looking for. And so I feel the platform when for quantity over quality.

ZipRecruiter was easy to setup for what we needed in a potential team member. It also recommended some candidates in our area that may be a good fit for the position.

Our biggest problem with ZipRecruiter is that it did not give us a lot of candidates that we could look over to determine if we would want to interview them for our position. We had to use other recruiting sites for our hiring process. Every time we have had to use ZipRecruiter we end up hiring from a different online service.

What's really nice about ZipRecruiter is you can customize what talent you are looking for and let the resumes come to you. If you need help just chat or speak with your rep and they'll help you out. Our company is a small business and a hustling place and we don't have an on-staff HR person to help with the recruiting so ZipRecruiter made it possible to search, and have the resumes with what we were looking for come directly to me!

Inconvénients

You still have to put in leg work to interview and review resumes and it is a bit pricy for a small business.

The process for ZR is pretty straightforward... load the job and this goes out to many different sites. This is a benefit as sometimes we do not know where we want to advertise. The process is simple to follow to load an advertisement as we usually copy from the job description and modify accordingly. Cost is a good point with ZR as you can get a bundle that you can use any way you want. This is helpful for costing and tracking

Inconvénients

The flip side of sending out ads to sites we may not be aware of is that we don't really know where the ads are going. We trust it is getting out, but that isn't the fault of the software, but of their marketing perhaps. It wants to compete with Indeed, CareerBuilder, and probably LinkedIn, but the proof is in the pudding... we don't have as many resumes from ZR as other sources. However, the VALUE may not be that different as we do not pay much for this either.

I love this software because it is by far the easiest job search tool I have ever used. They will send you text messages of job openings and all you have to do is respond to reply. The best part is it is specifically catered to you and what you want so it doesn't waste your time. I have gotten multiple interviews of jobs I have applied to as well as recruiters reaching out to me.

Inconvénients

The only dislike I have is occasionally I will get sent job offers that arent what the description says but that's more so the recruiter providing inaccurate information.

ZipRecruiter is one of the easiest platforms to use to help you browse and post employment opportunities. The design of the landing page is easy to navigate, making the process smooth. It also allows you to chat with a recruiter, which is an awesome perk to have as a job seeker. Many career websites do not have this option. Another great option that is accurate based on the information inputted by a job seeker is the customized jobs tab-specific to each person's skills and career interests. Overall, this is an awesome platform!

The software is great. The only downside to ZipRecruiter is that sometimes it has old job postings that are expired. The company needs to do a better job at ensuring that the job postings are active and not filled to prevent candidates from wasting time on job applications.

Ease of use and its navigational qualities get you where you need to go with no fuss, information is placed right where it needs to be with reference tabs and links to further your relationship with personal and companies.

Ability to let an employer know you're super interested. Frequent emails regarding new opportunities. The ability to see if/when an employer reviews your resume. No real application necessary to fill out, mainly just submit your resume.

Inconvénients

Too many roles advertised or sent to you that are well below what you are looking for. There is a button in emails that you can press saying it isn't the right role for you for various reasons, including low pay, etc. but you still continue to get emails about roles of the same caliber. If you look at one position that is in a different location than where you are primarily searching, you all of a sudden get all sorts of roles in that location. And even if you try to unsubscribe for that location, you still get them. Too many job postings do not have links to the actual listing.

It's super easy to use to post a job and also look for jobs or companies. The ease of use is vital when using job boards.

I wouldn't say that I got the best pool of talent from posting a job on the site. One posting I didn't even get any qualified responses. I think it depends on the caliber of talent you are looking for and what type of position you're recruiting for

The software is generalized, so we get many applicants who are not qualified. It provides a match score, but doesn't screen out those not qualified. A better process for this would make the recruiting effort more efficient.

Good concept to have an all in one location to access applicants but needs work.

Inflated pricing and false advertising. The free trial is misleading. It's takes a day to get you set up and have access to your applicants. If you don't get set up within the time frame you get locked out of your account with no access to the applicants that already applied during your free trial. Then they make you pay hundreds of dollars to continue using the software.

Don't bother using if you're a small business, they target large corporations that can afford to spend hundreds and even thousands on recruiting an employee. Definitely NOT beneficial for retail recruiters. You're better off using Indeed or Craigslist.

The app has basic functionality as a job search tool. It serves its intended purpose, though it doesn’t seem to take the user experience into account. If you like a lot of follow up emails, this is the app for you.

There are some really great apps out there for employers and job seekers. Unfortunately, this is not one of the best. The main letdown is the lack of a remote job search parameter. Almost every other major app of this variety has adapted to a remote hiring climate. The jobs are generally less appealing/fitting but you will receive tons and tons of emails about them.

The ability to customize your job search is paramount when looking to maximize your results. Ziprecruiter returns the highest number of quality job postings of any of the sites I've used. I'm looking for a new career so I've used a lot of them.

Inconvénients

The only Con I can list is that you may receive jobs you are not interested in. This is part of the customizable nature of the software though as it allows you to ask why you are receiving this job notification or deny it all together. The site then adjusts its search parameters so you no longer receive those types of job notifications.

They provide templates for creating job descriptions and it a very simple effort to publish them in the portals/ channels that we want. They further help by providing candidates, which also helps

The candidates shared are not always relevant. Their pre screen interview questions are quite basic and do not help in really evaluating a candidate's suitability.
