Wasting time.
There are better job search sites out there, and some are worse. I would not use ZipRecruiter again.
Avantages
Easy to use and to look through jobs in different areas and fields.
Inconvénients
There is no way to delete a job you have already seen a hundred times. The same jobs appear over and over again and a lot of time is wasting. Also, need more specific categories. I'm a Public Adjuster. Which is completely different than an Insurance Adjuster, yet that's all the jobs I see.

Decent Tool for Jobfinders
Overall, my experience has been positive. I have found a number of potential roles to apply for, and appreciate the recommendations based on my previous applications.
Avantages
I enjoyed the ability to look for certain types of jobs and for particular companies. Recommendations are available based on previously applied jobs.
Inconvénients
Email and push notifications are not always relevant. Emails in particular are often overwhelming in frequency without much value add.

Great Tool for Recruiting New Talent
We have been able to find new team members via Zip Recruiter, so the experience has been good. To be honest, there's not a huge difference between them and their competition, but we're happy with this so we keep using it
Avantages
We have done a lot of hiring the past few months and Zip Recruiter is one of the tools we mainly use to find applicants. I can't speak to the applicant side, but from our end the tool is easy to get a listing posted, easy to communicate with an applicant, and easy to follow up with.
Inconvénients
Not much. It's a pretty simple tool that does everything we need it to do. I know there's more features and a more expensive model we could subscribe to, but we don't utilize all that. It could be becuase what we hire for is very niche, that the recommended applicants aren't always a great fit, but not going to hold that against them.

Not worth the money
Not worth the cost at all. Our entire team has had a negative experience from both posting jobs as well as sourcing resumes.
Avantages
Unfortunately, I don't have many pros to write about ZipRecruiter. I thought when they first came out, the company did a great job on their advertisements, but the pros stop there.
Inconvénients
I'm not sure where to start. Extremely clunky system that is not user friendly. From a resume sourcing standpoint, I have yet to find any high-quality candidates from this job board, let alone all of the repeats from other job boards that are much more affordable and easier to use.

Avantages
The Ease of posting a job is impressive, they have this step by step categories when posting job, starting with the job title to the rate .
I love how its AI tells me where I stand with the rate i have vs the market rate for a specific job.
Inconvénients
Give me more free job post xd
How would someone buy your product if you dont offer the flexibility to test it out .

I can see the potential, but overall, ZipRecruiter didn't work for my company/industry.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter is easy to use and has a lot of features that are extremely helpful in finding qualified candidates for the positions you are trying to fill. Their service also sends your ad out across a plethora of job boards. Coverage and visibility is a definite plus.
Inconvénients
This service had a poor ROI in the specific industry (transportation/trucking) I was using it for. I feel like this service is better suited for filling white-collared positions.

Best app for Employment
My overall experience with Ziprecruiter is good. I really enjoy the app

I like how easy it is to apply to jobs just by having your account updated you can simply apply by just a click. Simple as that
Inconvénients
What I like the least is that I am always receiving notices for jobs way outside of my locations for some reason.

Easy to set up and manage multiple positions simultaneously. Easy candidate review.
Great features, customizable for each position, and prescreening questions to eliminate candidates that fail to meet minimum job related skills or requirements.

Ease of candidate review and ability to comment for all people involved in HR and hiring. Rating and prescreen questions allows for quick review and dismissal of applicants that don't meet minimum requirements without wasting time going through the entire candidate "package" Very customoizable for the position being adverstised.
Inconvénients
It seem that there were times when I did not see some of the comments that an fellow executive had made regarding a candidate and there were other times when candidates were hidden from my view because someone else had already deselcted the candidate without me having viewed the candidate where there could have been a contradicting opinion that required further discussion.

Easy to use
I will use ziprecruiter is the future. I love how easy it is to use and they always have decent jobs.

I love how easy it its to apply for jobs. Everything is Easy to get to. No issues finding messages from employers.

Job Hunting Made Easy
Avantages
I like how clean cut the website is and how easy it is to search for jobs that actually match your search result! Zip Recruiter also has the great feature of finding jobs that match your resume and make applying as easy as 1-2-3! Very rarely, did I have to go to the company website, sign up, and have to manually enter my resume anymore. Zip Recruiter is actually where I found my current position!
Inconvénients
So say for example, you have a work experience on your resume of a job you no longer are in the field for..the computer for zip recruiter will still pick up that job description and send you potential jobs. Can be a little annoying but a small flaw in an otherwise great product!

Nice recruiting tool!
Avantages
Its a good recruitment tool for both job seekers and recruiters. I am a recruiter and need a source for recruiting candidates for our oraganization.
Then I had 2-3 openings for which I needed new source as the current sources available with us were not enough. And I got to know about Ziprecruiter and it became a path to the type of candidates we were searching for.
Although I got candidates to fill 1 out of 3 openings but it was worth it.
It has features like job posting, questionnaire preparation etc. It also has a mobile app so its easy to use from anywhere we want.
Inconvénients
They can improve their customer service a little. Rest the software is good and useful.

Not bad but far from the best
We used it for a while and it got the job done. No pun intended. For the price it's not a bad option by any means.
Avantages
It has a lot of features you would expect from a top notch job placement company. Many of them are ever better than some bigger players.
Inconvénients
The features missing, or not done as well are pretty noticeable once you have used other job placement softwares.

Easy to navigate!
Overall my experience with ZipRecruiter hasn't been exactly what I expected but I plan on continuing to try to use it to see what I can get out of it.
Avantages
I like that Zip Recruiter is easy to navigate but I haven't got many hits on the jobs I've posted. I am looking into getting more help navigating this software.
Inconvénients
I can't say that I don't like the product but I've found others much more successful in hiring. It's not the worst one I've used though.

Beware of this Company
Piss poor applicants for out position. They were sending resumes of people with graduate degrees in other states for a receptionist position. Most of the people we called for an interview (zoom) never responded. We never got a candidate for either position we posted with them.
Avantages
The promise of qualified candidates. Never happened. We were getting people with advanced degree's for a $15 job.
Inconvénients
They kept pulling money out of our bank long after we stopped using them. We called to cancel, got the cancel confirmation but they kept taking out money. In December they dunned us twice. When we saw they charged us $1,00 in December we called again and were told there was no record of the previous call so we could only get a refund of 1/3 of what they owed us.

A Must Have Recruiting Tool
Zip Recruiter allowed the organization I worked for to have a stronger broadcast while recruiting insurance agents. This allwoed for set appointment and invitations to a webinar where potential hires were able to view the opportunity and then engage in a dialogue. Hundreds to thousands of reponses were collected, thanks to ZipRecruiter's software.
Avantages
Zip Recruiter allows a user to post recruitment information in various markets across the country, leveraging popular job search space at the community level. Super easy to setup and you can copy and paste info quickly to different areas.
Inconvénients
I was really wanting a dashboard view that gave me more information on specific candidate demographics or information that could have been more useful during the hiring process. More visuals, graphs, etc, would be helpful.

Great for HR, great for job candidates
Avantages
Seeing it on both sides - it has great features for both job candidates and for the HR department. As a job candidate, and if you've uploaded your resume and completed your profile along with setting your preferences, you will get a variety of helpful (and even encouraging) alerts such as notifications when a potential employer posts a job that's a fit for you; you are alerted when an employer views your resume materials; you can even apply instantly for certain employers who allow it with the click of a button. On the HR side there are similar features. You are provided several key points of information about candidates that are viewing and applying for your job(s). This feedback is helpful in analyzing the effectiveness of your postings as well as organizing your search process for that particular job.
Inconvénients
I can't think of a downside. I do think that at least at this writing, this is a platform and service that is worth the money above other applications such as Indeed.

I am able to use it through ADP and it has helped us find some new talent. I like the ease of use, but wish the quality of candidates were better.
Avantages
I really appreciate how user friendly the platform is. It is easy to post new positions that need to be filled. It is easy to cycle through new applicants and see their resumes....
Inconvénients
.....that is when people actually attach resumes. The big negative is how much the quality in candidates vary. More often than not, at least in my experience, the candidates are not good.

There are a lot of great things about this site, but some sites offer more options
Avantages
I love using this website because you can apply so easily to jobs. Just a few clicks and boom, applied. I also love how it tells you when employers view your application. It makes me get excited.
Inconvénients
I wish that you could sort by "salary shows as x/year" because most of their entries don't show any salary, then I don't want to apply to them because I don't know if it's a livable wage or not.

Avantages
It's easy to use in terms of searching for jobs and the location. I haven't used it in over a year. When I did use it, I, like most others that are looking for employment just used the search option and it was fine.
Inconvénients
Having the reviews on the website about the company is a nice option, but also not so great if the person reads the job they like and then gets discourages from the comments from staff members. I think taking these comments with a grain of salt should be a good suggestion because many comments may be made out of frustration instead of piece of mind.

Great Tool For Hiring
We've had great luck and success finding employees who really match our core values and last!
Avantages
We use ZipRecruiter to post current jobs we have available. We've gotten some great candidates to build our pipeline!
Inconvénients
I think in other companies, descriptions can be a little jumbled or vague, may not have anything to do with the platform and more to do with the user, but I find it frustrating.

ZipRecruiter Review - Great platform for job hunting
When I used this, like I mentioned above, employers didn't really get back to me and I felt like I couldn't really follow up with them so I almost always ended up going directly to the employers career site and applying that way to eliminate the middle man.
Avantages
I liked that it streamlines the hiring process for myself as a job hunter. The job descriptions were very well written and easily understood, I can easily press quick apply and it auto-upload all of my information so I don't have to redo each application every time - it gets daunting. It is a very user friendly interface.
Inconvénients
It's not really aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I also wish they would list the salaries on each job posting but I know that's more of employer issue, not a software issue. When I used this, most employers didn't respond to me.

Avantages
ZipRecruiter has a large number of filters to refine a job or career search a user is looking for or just cast a wide net so many different positions show up.
Inconvénients
There are sometimes large descripencies between the salary which is quoted in an email, what their website says and the actual job posting.

ZipRecruiter has given us confidence knowing we have hired the right candidate. It is easy to use and has really made filling open positions easier. The ease of use has provided us with multiple qualified candidates for several positions. Gone are the days of reviewing applications of unqualified individuals.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter is an effective, efficient way to search for your next employee. This job seeker/employer site enables the user to post a job and reach candidates across a variety of job sites, eliminating the need to post your job to multiple places. The feature of receiving instant matches and being able to invite them to apply to your position is a real time saver. Additionally, having the opportunity to ask screening questions can eliminate those that do not have the qualifications we are looking for in an employee. It saves job seekers time too! The application is mobile-friendly so you can reach potential employees at any time of the day at any location.
Inconvénients
There hasn't been anything about the software that we have not liked. It has really helped step up our hiring.

Once you use them you can't get off the mailing list
Overall Ziprecruiter was a nice way for us to hire a high quality candidate for the position opening we had. Unfortunately they have become an annoyance in the mail and on our emails. We most likely will not use them again, just out of pure annoyance from their sales team over-promoting a free product.
Avantages
Ziprecruiter is a very easy product to us. We used it on the job posting side. This was free unless you wanted to boost your post and have more people see it the longer it was up. The applicants varied from high to low quality, but we did end up hiring from this software. To create a job posting was relatively simple, just copied and pasted the ad.
Inconvénients
Once we had hired a candidate and stopped using their product we started to receive weekly mailings from them about using their product. This is something that apparently you can't unsubscribe from. We stopped opening the mailings because we didn't even pay when we posted the ad, so we aren't sure what they are even trying to sell us.

Avantages
Not much. I use it as a job seeker. Once you do a search, you will be inundated with emails from a make believe ZipRecruiter person. Highly annoying. I shut that off quickly.
Inconvénients
I see the same jobs listed here that I see on every other job search app or site, so what value am I receiving?

Avantages
I did like the search-ability of Zip Recruiter. I liked the fact you had suggested matches as well. They also post to several different job boards simultaneously, which throws a wider blanket over the market.
Inconvénients
I was not a fan of the fact they said they are better/different from a regular job board. In many cases, this job board did try harder to give me better matches, but my searching and boolean strings came up with many of the same quality in other places. I got just as many candidates in my pipeline - hundreds - which ZipRecruiter also says makes for better time allocation...it doesn't. You still have to filter through every resume. It is a good call for posting and simple searches, may not be that great for ones looking to decrease volume of applicants for time saving.

They told me that my free trial was messed up so they restarted my free trial and told me the date when it was supposed to end. Then when I called them up to cancel it, they played word game with me. I was told that it ends on Sun in the initial call when their agent told me happily the free trial was restarted. When I called to cancel it a different agent said that it ends on Sun actually means the charge starts on Sun! Okay, if you told me it ends on Sat and it starts to charge on Sun, it would have made much more sense! So they're scammy in a way like this. AND THEY CHARGED ME $48 FOR THEIR FREE TRIAL

Great Platform
Avantages
When choosing where to post openings it is a battle between Indeed and ZipRecruiter. ZipRecruiter has proven to be the most effective method of finding quality candidates.
Inconvénients
You receive a large amount of applications and many of them do not have the background required for the position.

I really liked it over all, it worked great with in a weekend of constant sending resumes I got 5 interviews the at the beginning of the week with in relevant jobs. The app work and the jobs are legit I highly recommend it and the response rate is quick.

- I like that is easy to install in your phone through the play store and you can also access it through your PC or laptop.
- You get job openings relevant to your searches.
- You can save your resume and submit it to the jobs of interest.
- Is possible to get different job locations according to your preference.
- The job positions are up to date.
- It is easy to find out what the job entails, as the description is shown in a snippet and you can find if its a fit for you quickly.
- Normally you can see the salary which is great to determine if the job is worth your time.
Inconvénients
- I had problems with the mobile application when I loaded my resume it did not save it and had to load it over and over and edit it, I hope the bug is fixed since I used it when it first came out.

ZipRecruiter The Good & Bad
Overall my experience has been good. I like that I can post and search for free.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter's best feature is the AI matching, this is SO helpful and such a time saver. You still have the option to see resume's if you want to vet someone yourself, but knowing in advance that the recommended person is already a good match helps you narrow the field.
Inconvénients
Unfortunately, there does seem to be some SCAM jobs listed. It's often difficult to tell what's real.

It was great to use, but moved on to something better.

It is good for small companies and user friendly with support.

It could be bad for small companies with lacking features and not a lot of email management.

User friendly
I've receive a few interviews from this site although not a staggering amount

All in all I think the app is great as well as the web version because of its quick applies and large pool of available opportunities

Great Idea, Needs Better Vetting Process
Another issue I have is that when submitting a resume, it doesn't tell the whole story, especially when you don't have a cover letter to submit. I would recommend implementing a questionnaire system to help employers vet potential candidates.
Avantages
I love how easy it is to apply for jobs. Scrolling through the different positions that are available and simply clicking "Apply" makes it easy to send off your resume in a snap.
Inconvénients
I really don't like the vetting process used for the companies that you can apply for. It seems like half of them are pyramid schemes rather than actual positions. If the intended market is 16-18 year olds, they got it down. If they are looking to work with corporations, they need to up their process.

Avantages
It finds opportunities for you and email them to you. A lot of the emails are worth my while and the links in the emails take you straight to the opportunity to apply.
Inconvénients
Some of the opportunities salary range are too low for me to apply. Some are out of the area that I would apply.

ZipRecruiter - you get what they send you
Granted, they do attract a lot of applicants, and I suppose that by shear volume, the number of good candidates we receive is worth it. But the time it takes to get there is questionable.
Avantages
Posting jobs is very easy, and reviewing candidates is very easy. Most review actions involve clicking and saving resumes.
Inconvénients
They allow the most rudimentary resumes to be submitted. This means I have to spend the same amount of time declining poor resumes as I do reviewing the good candidates.

Not a great resource for an advanced job searcher
I do not particularly care of ZipRecruiter and find there are better tools in the market that have higher levels of success.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter is very intuitive when it comes to uploading one's resume. It is ideal for the junior type of employee looking for a new job.
Inconvénients
Do not find this tool to be useful at all as a way of applying for senior level jobs or soliciting senior level people to an organization.
