User-Friendly App
Avantages
I like ziprecruiter because it is very user-friendly. Whether you are an employer or a job hunter, the application is easy to navigate. The forms are easy to fill in. As an employer who looks for staff, you get vast collections of candidates to choose fro. And as a job hunter, I can say that their posts are always fresh.
Inconvénients
However, some job posts seem to be false or not legit. I hope they can do something about those who post jobs only to direct people to their survey programs. It waste people's time.

Avantages
I like the Ease of Use the most. This software/site allows us to leave notes on candidates and hide seen candidates which is a great tool to when candidates don't qualify.
Inconvénients
The limit space they give for searching resumes. It should be unlimited if your company is paying for the site.

Zip on over for easy job searching
Overall, mine was a positive experience. And, once I was set, it wasn't hard to "stop the flow" of info from their site.
Avantages
The site made it easy to set up my profile and upload my documentation. And, there were lots of opportunities available!
Inconvénients
Well, searching for a job isn't the most fun thing in the world, now is it? But, this site made my quest much, much easier.

A quality job site
Generally very good. Good user experience and friendly customer service people.
Avantages
Zip is a decent service, but tends to be better if you're recruiting for lower paid jobs. We've had gretat success using the platform for retail and hospitality jobs, but less so for senior management jobs.
Inconvénients
Cost - not the cheapest offering in the marketing and I would have thought that with covid and more job seekers on the market, prices might come down.

Very Helpful While Job Hunting
Overall, I think ZipRecruiter is awesome. It’s like having your own personal constant job searcher.
Avantages
I really like that recruiters actually contact you with jobs they think fit what you’re looking for.
Inconvénients
I feel like even with all of the information that I provided, some of the jobs that I was recommended were nothing close to what I was looking for.

Too Much Scams and Spams
I would recommend others to stay away and use other platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Lever, and Greenhouse.
Avantages
I have used it both as a recruiter and a job applicant and found the platform easy to navigate. It is extremely easy to post material and to get candidates.
Inconvénients
What I don't like about ZipRecruiter is that there is a lot of fake content or scams. You get lots of no show candidates or on the job seeker side, you may be taking a risk because the job isn't what you initially thought it is.

Great job-posting platform!
I've used ZipRecruiter for more than two years now. As far as other job-posting platforms, I prefer using ZipRecruiter rather than any other software because of its helpful, friendly management options.
Avantages
Among all the job-posting platforms, ZipRecruiter is the easiest one to use and manage. As an administrator of the software, I find ZipRecruiter a friendly platform. It is extremely helpful to post job positions.
Inconvénients
I've used the "boost" option in more than one of the job positions I've posted and, compared to the number of candidates I received without paying to "boost" the positions, it was not entirely worth it. I believe ZipRecruiter could offer less expensive paying options to optimize the job posting.

I love the fact that they send me compatible jobs from a job that I may have applied for earlier.
Avantages
It give me jobs that are compatible with my skill set. I get emails daily about positions that are opening or are open.
Inconvénients
Too many emails daily, need to make it a once a day email with multiple jobs. Not an email with one job.

Consistent Help
Its opened my future success by allowing me to reply immediately after getting notifications for what new positions had been posted. I wanted to be early to give an early impressive impression.
Avantages
I like that I have numerous jobs sent me routinely. I was in the know about potential opportunities as soon as those company's posted their openings.
Inconvénients
Too many roofing and flooring jobs in my personal opinion.

Finding a job online with Ziprecruiter
It is a good search engine for open positions, but they send far too many emails, some of which are fake as I mentioned above. They send so many emails that often I don't even open them. The number of communications needs to be brought down while the quality of communications needs to be brought up.
Avantages
There are more than just a few job opportunities posted on ZipRecruiter, so you can find a lot of openings with one search.
Inconvénients
You need to be a member to view the entire post about an opening, meaning you need to sign in every time you want to view a position. You may see the posting through an email that ZipRecruiter sends, but to truly see the details, you can't just click the link - you need to sign in. Also, the company has a habit of sending out spam emails. They look as if a person from a listed opportunity sent you an email, but when you try to respond, you realize it's a bot at ZipRecruiter that is matching skills and then sending fake emails to people with skills matching a position. It's extremely frustrating, and dishonest.

Thought it was a platform that showed me a few job opportunities when I was searching, it did not show me many legit options and overall wasn't my favorite platform for job hunting. As an employee now I would not use it to find employees for my company.

I like that you can find jobs as a job seeker.

This platform did not allow me to find many legit opportunities when I was job hunting. It was not my favorite. It did not end up helping me much in my personal job search.

One Click Apply is all you need
Over all I think it's better than Indeed, and similar to Glassdoor.
Avantages
The one click apply feature is great. The filters for date ranges/zip code, job type, title, etc. all work excellently. I've applied to so many places thanks to ZipRecruiter and saved tons of time. After every application they even recommend 3 more jobs that you'd be a good fit for.
Inconvénients
The email notifications were a bit much until I unsubscribed. Also, the recommended jobs feature doesn't always list the most relevant positions.

I disliked the functionality of exporting recruitment lists, this made it more difficult to track my prospects.

Good resource for sourcing
I used ZipRecruiter on my previous employment being a staffing firm.There we have to look at hundreds of resumes a day and this provided a good pool but sometimes it got repetitive. We had one account but many that could post positions and we could switch and alternate if we maxed it out. I found to be a good tool to source and post positions and get traction with candidates. It just depends on the audience you are working with that you need to keep in mind.
Avantages
I liked that I could "peruse" at a resume without having to open it or click on it, so that made scrolling thru them much faster.
Inconvénients
If I click on a resume and then hit "Back" or return, it would take me to the top of the list of resumes and I would loose track of where I was position based on the list I was going thru.

Job seeker
Avantages
I get emails from ZipRecruiter with positions that are comparable with what I'm looking for. You can also check to see other positions on the app and check the progress, if they've been closed or not. Also, the positions that I seem to be getting are brand new, ones I hadn't seen before, and I look every day.
Inconvénients
I accidentally applied for a job that is out of my area and now I'm getting only jobs for that area. I can probably go and change it, but I just haven't yet.

ZipRecruiter has definitely increased our overall talent pool for job postings and led to us making better hiring decisions.

ZipRecruiter Review as a Job Seeker
Overall, ZipRecruiter is a great tool and website for active job seekers. There are tons of job openings listed in the website and they are updated daily.
Avantages
I have been using ZipRecruiter as a job seeker for years now. This is one of the main website I use when I am seeking for a new job. I like to amount of job posting ZipRecruiter has on their website.
Inconvénients
What I like the least about ZipRecruiter is the accuracy of the searches. I work in forensic science however whenever I searches that many other unrelated postings would also show up. Another con for ZipRecruiter is the amount of unrelated job posting email I get from them. I know I can turn it off but I also would like to get updated of openings that are suitable for me.

Great at first, there have been many changes and customer support is non existent

The ability to easily and quickly review job descriptions for posting and great UI. They have an integrated resume bank to research which helps.
Inconvénients
Customer Support has taken a turn for the worst...fees have risen since their humble beginnings and now I hear them on the radio. They have scaled but at the loss of customer service.

My company provided job search assistance to people and we have found this website to lack quality job leads - too many temp agencies, there are more leads on Indeed.

My overall experience with ZipRecruiter is excellent. I even recommended this website to my sister when she was job searching. It's so easy to use, I cannot express that enough. When you create your account and you input your preferences, the software honors that. It breaks down the search for you and you can even edit that. You can choose the jobs nearest to you, most new listed job, etc. And if you input something like "Bilingual jobs..." that's what the search will pop up for you. Nothing extra or irrelevant and I love that. It's very helpful.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter is amazing. I was so used to using Indeed for my job search, while I was looking. Then a colleague of mine recommended ZipRecruiter and I was blown away. It was so great how fast my applications would reach employers and how fast they responded to me. I am full time employed now but at the time of my job search, it was very refreshing to have employers reach out to me as fast as they did. I was hopeful I would find a job, and thank God I have!
Inconvénients
I don't think there is anything missing about this website. Everything about is top-notch. From the website being very bright in color and eye catching to being user friendly, it's great. I haven't used it in a while but if I could add something, it would be the Chat with a representative option. It's just a thought. I just like seeing that option on a website.

Easy recruiting
Overall our companies experience with Zip recruiter has been great. We have been very happy and have been matched with several great employees that still work for us!
Avantages
The Zip Recruiter program is user friendly for both employer and person applying for a job. It has subtle reminders of everything you may want to include in the job description, responsibilities, and benefits. This is great so that you don't forget to mention something in your ad. Communication with applicants and scheduling interviews is a breeze! They actually give you a list of candidates that may be the right fit too, so you might find someone before they see your ad! Very convenient and affordable.
Inconvénients
Customer service can be difficult because you get whoever is available and if you get disconnected you basically start over. It would be nice to have specific people assigned to assist.

Most Value for the Money
Avantages
This software allows you to submit job ads and vet/track applicants easily. If you close and resubmit your ad every 2 weeks as a new ad, you get the benefit of your job post being reposted to the major job sites with placement at the top again. It is a good way to maximize your exposure without spending more money.
Inconvénients
Contacting candidates from the resume database doesn't seem to be worthwhile. Many times, the potential candidates do not respond or are not looking for a new job.

Customer service is good and they check in on you, sometimes too much. Good product and its solid for branding.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter is another tool for employers/recruiters. It's really easy to use, and does cast a broad net to bring talent.
Inconvénients
While it says "bring the candidate to you", there are many unqualified types that are brought, however we have seen some quality, BUT you have to sift through those who are not qualified.

I used ZipRecruiter for a couple of months when I was looking for a job, and they still keep sending me job proposals. However, most of them are irrelevant and don't interest me. My advice: if you want to make the best of this software, define your preferences and your fields of interest as accurately as possible.
Avantages
This company can really help you find the job. Once I have submitted the application, it keeps sending me proposals, some of which could suit me (I don't need it currently as I have a job already).
Also, they help to get recommendations from people you provide by reminding them you are waiting for recommendation.
Inconvénients
The application process is very long and unnecessarily exhausting. You have to fill in all the fields already listed in your resume, though you attache the resume and the LinkedIn profile which also have it.
The process of obtaining recommendations is long (though ZipRecruiter helps by reminding potential endorser that you are waiting for recommendation.)
Also, the jobs proposed by ZipRecruiter are of a very broad spectrum, and most of them do not match my requirements and don't interest me at all.

Used it to find a job!
Avantages
It has the features any other job board has: Listings, profile to upload a resume / cover letter. What stood out to me was after applying for a job, in the confirmation email, was more related jobs to apply for. I know other jobboards do this, but ZIpRecruiter's seemed tailored to me. On a lot of the other boards they were just random careers pulled from who knows where.
Inconvénients
There should be a way to stop getting certain jobs in your related jobs, or to just stop showing up on the board. I would constantly be shown jobs I didn't like, or that I couldn't apply for. It would be nice to have a feature to take those out of the view.

It was okay just not for someone like me.

They do have alot of jobs available on their site.

Most of they require a resume which alot of people don't have i didn't like that and plus when you apply for a certain job they take you to this assement test which I know for a fact of you actually go to the place to that is hiring they don't have that.

Ease of use for both hiring companies and users is very straight forward and does not take much of a learning curve to master use of all of the features.

Updating a user profile and other information in the user profile is clunky, is prone to freezing and not at intuitive as it could be. Customer service is non existent.

Not a Fan of Zip Recruiter
I think Zip Recruiter is decent, but you have to wade through a lot of spam and scam types jobs to get to the good ones. It doesn't hurt to have your resume and profile out, because all you need is one good job to make it worth it. At the same time the amount of garbage jobs on this site that are allowed to advertise and access to your information is deal breaker in my opinion and makes this app not worth it.
Avantages
With relatively easy setup you can create a profile on Zip Recruiter to search for a wide range of jobs.
Inconvénients
The quality of jobs varies. Many scam type job positions contact everyone even if it is out of your interest area. The amount of spam makes the app almost unusable.

I am a job seeker and this helps me to reach out to job listings which no other job portals provide with ease of applying and doing great things with one's profile. Totally worth!
Avantages
It has loads of front end features which makes the final profile a very comprehensive one. The ease of navigation through 1-tap apply just work wonders as one can apply on the move. It stores the preferences and uses them to help me apply for subsequent openings. The spread & content is great as it caters to a wide range of location and key job listings. The skill sets are taken automatically from the CV/ profile which is great boon to take out keywords which surely helps to populate accurate job listings.
Inconvénients
One thing which can be worked is the integration of companies with their logos while using their names. Also digital links enablement is missing for certifications & licenses which can help emplyers to assess the credibility check online.

Alerts and updates when you need them most.
If and when I move into a position of hiring personnel I will look forward to using ZipRecruiter as the tool that I needed from the job seeking perspective. It should prove to make an easier approach to the hiring process.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter for me kept me in the loop when I needed it most. Looking at it from a job seeking perspective, after applying my filters to narrow down my search I was getting multiple leads 90% of them directly pertained to the field and the position that I had desired. Responding was instant and easy. Updating information was easy and fast.
Inconvénients
Any issues that one might experience are preventable by the user by paying attention when setting your filters. You will get what you ask for so be sure to know what you want from the product and it will serve.

Great to use, bad offerings
Setting up your account is quite easy, but actually getting contacted for jobs you are interested in is another story.
Avantages
Overall ZipRecruiter is a great idea, but the jobs that reach out to you are generally not what you are looking for.
Inconvénients
Being contacted about jobs that don't fit your field or salary range. It's not a very accurate system.

Overall it's great; I've used ZipRecruiter throughout my career and continue to use it as an option because I'm happy with the system.

Sometimes the quality of candidates isn't the best and having to sift through applicants that just use quick apply just because. But the simplicity of the software is really what I enjoy

Overall I can’t complain. Cost is extremely reasonable and jobs are there for employers and employees. Just have to put in the search effort.
Avantages
I enjoy the ease of use and cost. I also enjoy the 1 tap apply so you can mass market yourself. As an employer the customer support is extremely helpful.
Inconvénients
On both spectrums as an employer as well as a job searcher I don’t always get the best quality of matchup. I get candidates that don’t align with the role. As a user I get a lot of recommended jobs to meet that have nothing to do with past experience or my goals.

Zip Recruiter for the Focused
Overall, as a person seeking a job (not an employer seeking an employee), I think that Zip Recruiter is a robust system that is intuitive to use and provides a tremendous amount of information and opportunity. I will continue to use it as my #1 resource for this type of search.
Avantages
I like that Zip Recruiter seeks out jobs for me to apply to that really do match my experience. I also like transparency in knowing if my application has been viewed etc., the psychology of progress is great!
Inconvénients
I don't like that I'm not really able to tailor my search to a field that I don't yet have a great deal of experience in. For instance, I've been a restaurant manager for years but am now looking to get off the floor and on to a more corporate team to help drive a different aspect of the business. However, the only listings I'm being shown that I "qualify for" are restaurant management jobs.

Great Service for the Unemployed and for Employers
My overall experience with ZipRecruiter has been very successful for me when I needed to find short term work (contract)or long term work (permanent). I recommend ZipRecruiter to all of my Friends and Employers that I come in contact with.

ZipRecruiter helped me out when I needed help the most.
Avantages
I've used ZipRecruiter personally when searching for my last job. Compared to other job posting websites, ZipRecruiter seemed to do a much better job matching postings related to my search. I like that the search preferences are right at the top of the screen to help me filter my search making this process easier. I also really loved the save option, when searching there were plenty of times that I didn't have time to actually submit an application, but wanted to apply for the job without losing track of where I saw the listing.
Inconvénients
As with other job listing websites, there tend to be a lot of outdated listings. There were many times I would go to apply for a particular job to find that it had been taken off of the company website due to the slot being filled. I'm sure that the companies posting these positions have a hand in making sure their postings are taken off of these websites, but I wish there was a better filtering system to get rid of outdated posts.

Post Job Openings and Let The Application Flood Commence
ZipRecruiter gave us a lot of applicants to sort through, and we were able to filter through them and find great candidates for the positions we had open.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter is pretty easy to get started with, and we definitely were sure our postings were being shown. We've received hundreds of applicants from this platform, and were able to sort through them all with relative ease.
Inconvénients
I wish there was a way for ZipRecruiter to filter out applications from people who are spamming job search websites with their applications. We received many applications from people who submitted the same exact application multiple times, or were not related to the job we posted.

We had a few candidates that could not log into ZipRecruiter, because they never received the confirmation emails. They ended up applying to us directly.

extraordinary assisted me with setting up my new position opening advertisement

The online visit specialist was useful. I required them to assist their costumer with a missing position opening and he took care of business rapidly.
Inconvénients
The email complimented me on landing the position. I considered it odd that I would get an email from the enrolling organization rather than the recruiting organization. All things considered, I didn't land the position. I have connected with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] twice asking how such an error was made and have had no reaction.

Not so Zippy
It does what it is supposed to do. Fill my inbox with candidates looking for jobs and jobs looking for candidates. The qualifications of each are dependent upon your criteria but often bleeds outward to unwanted responses too.
Avantages
ZipRecruiter does what it seems to be targeted to do. It gets your message out to a broad audience. Whether you are seeking employment as a candidate or looking for candidates to fill open positions, ZipRecruiter broadcasts your content.
Inconvénients
The filters can be sub-optimal. As a candidate searching you can become pummeled with unqualified results. Having your targeted content published will not mean you get like targeted replies. You will still need to sift through the junk and the totally off-the-wall responses. I can't tell you how many times I received responses from Uber and Lyft when looking for professional services opportunities.

Easy to apply to jobs
I am not trying to solve any business problems with ZipRecruiter. However, I do think the developers can refine it more to send more relevant openings to applicants.
Avantages
What I like most is the ease of submitting applications for open jobs with one click. It is a very easy application to use.

What I like least is the fact that some jobs that are sent to me are not relevant to my skills and experience.

I've had numerous interviews through zip recruiter and landed quite a few decent jobs, its easy to use and works as expected.
Avantages
It's offers akot if different options for finding employment, it also offers the most current relatable jobs, and notified you of jobs relatable to your resume
Inconvénients
The constant emails get a little bit annoying, Im sure there's an option to shut them off, I'd def reccomend doing that as it spams ur inbox
