Avantages

The visual "proposal" that is produced is a real game changer. The recipe formats and "documents" based on the proposal help you prepare orders and production lists in minutes , NOT hours. Overall it is a huge time saver once up and running. Time is money, so it's really helped us streamline our processes and keep on track with costs.

Inconvénients

Details is best and most effective once your "items" and "recipe" libraries are built to your needs. This requires you to organize and add your custom items. However, the support team is CONSTANTLY offering really helpful workshops and on line tutorials. In addition, the support help online is TOP NOTCH, I've never had a support department respond so quickly.

Avantages

Details has really helped us to get organized and allows us to keep almost all of our client info in one place (flower orders, event info, client details, etc.) It also makes storing recipes much easier and has significantly decreased the time it takes us to make proposals. Their customer service team is fantastic, and I have no doubt that they are trying to provide the best client experience possible.

Inconvénients

It definitely has a little bit of an outdated interface that is missing some common features in modern SAAS products (eg. autosave). There are also controls that could be smoothed out to reduce redundancy. It also is not a CMS. If they added CMS features and updated the interface a bit they would be on top of the industry by a mile.

This software greatly helped minimize errors in simple math, floral orders & recipes, and overall quantities on our client proposals . We have a pretty large inventory for a small company , so updating the item gallery to reflect each and every item took some time but overall transferring our previous client contracts to the software was pretty simple.

Inconvénients

The biggest feature we feel is missing is a feature to track amounts of inventory sold on each individual day and notify when an item is oversold. We have spoken with your team & know the feature is on the way, which we will benefit from . Otherwise the only other issues we've had are glitches in search bars inside a worksheet / proposal

Details has been hugely helpful in streamlining my sales/design/invoicing/and ordering process into one all-inclusive software. I went from using 3-4 different applications to service my clients, to using one software that does everything. The Event Dashboard makes it so easy to just open it up and check availability or track where clients are at in the process.

Inconvénients

The interface does not feel particularly modern or smooth and options for customizing/formatting the proposal are slightly limited, which makes it slightly less fun to use. But all of the necessary functions are there, and I still get plenty of compliments on the proposals and how clean/organized they are. Overall a great design.

I love how organized and aesthetic this software platform is. I love how it's easy to write recipes and ensure that what I'm charging my clients is what I'm providing. I love how easy it is to generate workflow documents for my team. I love how getting paid by clients is super easy and streamlined. I've been using Details Flowers Software since it first was launched and I have loved it and every update that they have created to save me time and benefit my business ever since. I would love the option to manipulate and alter the templates so as to ensure that my proposals look different and unique from my competitors, who may be using the same software, and on-brand and in alignment with my aesthetics.

The proposals are beautiful and the selection of flowers and containers during the consultation presentation is impressive when working with clients. We get positive feedback regarding the proposals which present well with our high end client's expectations. We definitely have a strong conversion rate with the beauty of the proposals and the ease of the contract signing process. The software is easy to use and has great features for recipes, checklists and organization. My staff love the recipe worksheets.

Inconvénients

Getting the initial templates and recipes loaded is time consuming. We wish our local/favorite wholesale company was signed on. We don't like the extra credit card fees with Stripe. We wish the financials and invoicing would work with QuickBooks.

Creating clients and events is incredibly easy. There is a space to note almost any pertinent information for each event, which makes for simpler logistical planning and better trend tracking. The background capabilities of the software make building recipes and proposals easier than the world's best spreadsheet ever could. Compiling event-specific photos, each line item's details, company terms and conditions, and financial breakdowns in one clean document makes proposals look great! Web-based signatures and payments are perfect for the tech-forward world!

Inconvénients

It would be so helpful if inspiration photos could be organized into different categories, instead of "ALL" and "Event Inspiration." I think we would benefit if the automatic updates to event information would include sending/opening the document so that we know when a client has viewed the proposal.

The ability to show not only all the flowers available, but also your in house inventory, linens, structures and misc products. It counts my stems, pulls my inventory, reminds me of payments due, stores contracts, coordinates my life as a planner. It basically is my Assistant....I can reach out to clients not only from my studio , but on any device tablet even my phone if I am out in the field. Instead of rummaging through files and trying to decipher my own handwriting, I can pull up every detail of a clients event including other vendors, timing, and wholesalers, swiftly and accurately.

Inconvénients

With Details Flowers' team, there is nothing I don't like about the software. They are always there to listen to their clients (us)about what could work more efficiently and they are constantly implementing new tools.

I am able to keep all of my documents in one place. Especially as my business grows, this has become increasingly important.

I wish that I had more options for editing my documents.

Creating a custom proposal with details changed my whole design process and the way that I interact with my customers! My clients love so many things about their proposal including detailed descriptions of all the line items, flowers that I will use and the beautiful presentation on the first two pages. I can now sell higher end items and create lasting impressions for personals, ceremony and reception. My favorite thing about the software is that you can create your recipes so far in advance, this has helped me with time management, ordering and making margin.

The details team really cares about your feedback and others! They are constantly making changes to the software and I love getting the updates and tutorials about the advancements that they have made. The only thing I didn't like, is that I had to save the proposal every time and couldn't make changes to the terms in the contract, but they recently changed that!

I love so many things about this software, but my absolute favorite is how it completely Elevated my company. I now have amazing proposals to share with my clients, that set expectations to a T. I’m no longer loosing money by quoting incorrectly or by wearing my heart on my sleeve and just giving it all away. I now actually make money!!

I would love for the program to automatically save the changes I make from page to page. I would also like a back end where I can easily manage all payments for multiple events instead of going into each one separately.

I love how easy this software was to navigate. I looked into several other software companies to see what was best. Although this was the higher priced option, the quality is excellent. It creates an excellent presentation that creates a great first impression for my clients and also gives them an overall vision. It was very easy to navigate with very little frustration and there is always someone available to chat or email to help and very prompt response.

Honestly the only thing that is difficult is the price at times because I am a seasonal business. However the quality is excellent and I have made it work because I am pleased with the result.

I love a ton of features with this software but what i love most is you can customize photos and recipes anytime and as time goes along. The more you add and save - the easier it is each time you create a new proposal.

For a florist focusing on event design, Details does 90% of the work for me. For the hours I would spend calculating stem costs, creating mood boards, and scheduling each couples payments and day of set up, Details has made a seamless system for our industry. So many of our couples are amazed and thank me for the easy to read proposal that I send over to them via Details and I know it gives them a great first impression of the quality of our work and our professionalism. I believe the proposal via Details helps us build the trust needed to get the bookings we have. I couldn't be more thankful for Details in our business.

Sometimes there are saving difficulties and it's challenging to put new flower items into the program. Or it's challenging to learn a new platform often. But it doesn't take long to learn it and the Details team is always there to help.

Very difficult to use efficiently. Takes a lot of time to get around and get set up for a proposal. Saves every version which seems unnecessary. Wish it would auto save like other software programs we use.

I need to spend more time organizing my "inventory of items" to use in the software. I haven't dedicated time for that and there are lots of flowers that I wish were automatically in the system, but I understand why they arent and why we need to input them for our own market, etc. Some of the features are not things I personally use (quotes from my wholesalers etc.) They don't have time for that and are not connected to technology in that way.

The proposal is so professional looking, so much better than the excel spreadsheet I was using before I discovered Details. The costs sheet counts all the stems making it easy to order the correct amount and the recipe sheets can be printed out for any designer to follow. It's a real time/labor saver!

The inspiration photos don't upload onto the proposal, so they have to be uploaded once more. Hope that's one of the updates in the new version.

To be able to create floral recipes, build an event, and work within the budget all in one place and where our entire Team can access is life-changing! We are new to Details and have yet to fully unlock its potential, but already can see how our work flow and process are going to be transformed. The proposal template looks professional and building the job within the system is fun and productive.

I wish there were more items in the flower gallery, we have had to upload many and I feel they arepretty "normal" flowers. Also wish every event template did not have the cocktail hour, etc format as we do more than just weddings and don't always need all those spots per event.

I absolutely love the detailed flowers software. I couldn’t imagine starting and running my business without it. It has saved me so munch time figuring recipes and stem counts for ordering flowers. Not only that the proposals are gorgeous and i get compliments all the time from clients in how organized and beautiful they are.

I would like to be able to edit the heading in the proposals. And edit the contract for each client with out changing the master copy. Price is very high.

Two things: 1. It 'dumbs down' as much as possible to help communicate to our entire staff what client's need. It's easy to read so even if a staff member hasn't had any interaction with the client, it's so detailed that they can pick up the proposal and know everything about the wedding. 2. Clients LOVE it!! Clients are more and more detailed and visual these days. We get rave reviews!

It can sometimes be a little slow, but it normally fixes itself out. Support is so responsive we've found it's slower when they are working on something new.

The proposals have aspects that can't be modified, like the summary page. We would love to be able to customize all the sections on each page rather than be locked in to certain parts of the page (like the invoicing part since we do not invoice through Details).

I the like the presentation to the customer the most. It has helped me book many events because of how beautifully it is presented to the customer and how professional it looks. I also like being able to see what my costs are right away and to know how much I should charge.

I don't like having to manually save everything little thing that I change. I am not sure how to use the new design boards. Also, the color palettes for flowers is not set up very well. Like when I put in for something orange and pink flowers show up.

This software allows us to show our couples what the flowers look like, giving them a great visual and understanding of the overall look. It does all the pricing for us! Although it takes me a bit of time upfront (I'm still a little slow at it...) it saves me SO much time on the back end it's unreal! Plus no more calculation errors. And more profit!!

Our couples love it as well, and I have closed many sales without ever meeting the couples...

Customer service is fantastic! They take note of your suggestions, and even tell you if your ideas are already in the works.

At first, it seemed a little "buggy" with odd things happening. But as time has gone on, those issues are few and far between.

The customer support and the time it saves me! Oh and not having to do math anymore! This does all of that for me and gives me peace of mind that I'm not under/over pricing or ordering. I'm having fun putting the proposal together and I could never say that before!

I love the time that Details has saved me when creating customized quote for my brides. For years I was pricing out the same pinterest pictures over and over and now I can just pop it into the quote without a second thought because I have done the math once!

When I started using the software, I could only use it for weddings and not events as well. I believe they are working on this feature and if it's not ready yet, will be soon. I haven't had a chance to check.

I like how it breaks all of the “details” of my event down into recipes and delivery info, etc. I like that The contract info is written out for me and how clean and simple the contract is.

I wish that it had more flower selections available and I don’t really like the new catalog or resources set up. I prefer the old way. I also hate that I have to constantly save before I exit out of my worksheet even if I didn’t make any changes. Or I’ll save it and then I move my mouse up to go to a different section and it makes me save it again.

I liked the breakdown of the “details” for my events. I liked the layout of the proposal.

Avantages

Very easy to use - and fun to "play" in! The proposal is already 90% formatted and only requires quick tweaks and image uploads to personalize for each client. Can work to generate quick proposals or very detailed ones with floral recipes, markups, etc. depending on what you need.
The training and the availability of support personnel to answer questions or schedule one on one sessions is fantastic. It also seems like Details' staff continuously works to make improvements and updates to the software. Excited to see where things are headed and what other features will be added in the new year.

Inconvénients

This is all internet based so must have a stable connection in order to perform work (sometimes seems to "Freeze" or get stuck for me, but may be my Internet). Intended for use on a laptop or desktop - not easy to navigate on mobile. Hoping that in the future, orders for same weekends/delivery dates can be automatically combined into a single quote request to the wholesaler.

Avantages

We really like that when you are creating a recipe for arrangements the stem counts are produces for easy ordering. Also, like how everything is detailed and broken down for our client.

Inconvénients

Wish we could use image gallery to pull from to create new recipes for proposals. Would like the cost of the flowers to be more accurate. Would also like a larger floral gallery to pull from so we are not having to add our own all the time.

I don't like the templates- they're not very customizable and as a designer being able to customize fonts and layouts is super important to me and is really my only complaint about this software.

Every single customer is blown away by how thorough and gorgeous these proposals are. I lobe that I can integrate clients images and self selected inspiration images into each line item. I’m also really confident in my pricing as the software allows for speedy consistency.

Inconvénients

I’m not sure that I love the interface of the new flower finder, inventory search screen. I’ve also not been able to simply shoot orders over to my local wholesaler as they are not listed as an option.

After writing the recipes I found myself stuck in a place where i was dependent on my team to complete the proposal process. I wasn’t proficient in excell and other softwares we were using to develop the create proposals. I felt like I wasn’t pulling my weight on the back the house side of things. Details gave me independence and confidence and I am now able to completed the entire proposal process by myself. My team can now focus on other responsibilities to keep our operation running smoothly.

With anything new there will always be a learning curve. However, the team at Details is on it. Their customer service and attention to “detail”.....no pun intended, took all of the worry away and supported me through any questions i had.

As a negative and having used different software in the past, I can say that there are some features that Details does not offer yet. On the upside, it seems to be a progressive company, listening and trying to implement new features and upgrades as it goes. That's nice....a product that is not left to sit and become stale.

The software is very easy to use and the documents produced are beautiful. I love that I’m able to incorporate images into the proposals. It has certainly looks more professional and is a great visual piece to share with clients.

While I find it mostly very easy to use, I do feel there are features that are missing or could be improved. There are various aspects of the worksheet and proposal that I wish I had more control over and could customize.
