Solid Solution
I find it easy to use and implement into WordPress.
Avantages
The user interface is straight forward, modern, and clean. The product is well thought out and has a smaller learning curve than some other cart solutions.
Inconvénients
There is a cost to using this product that will be problematic for a lot of users. They aren't asking anything extreme, however. The pricing is fair, but there are other options at less, or no cost. It all depends on what one wants to do.

Great Resource for the "Little Guy"
Being a very "small" business owner, Ecwid has given me the opportunity to get my products out to customers all over the country. Easy to use and navigate
I have been using ecwid.com for several years now. It is my preferred shopping cart to use, especially for online stores that do not require any complicated, custom features. The administration interface is intuitive. On the front end, the shopping and checkout process is easy for the customer to use. There are many plug-ins available from ecwid.com, and their third-party contributors, to extend the functionality of the standard shopping cart too.

Avantages
ECWID is the easiest, fastest and most complete solution for an instant online businesses. It is underestimated the power of this platform. Every time I need to change, do or add something, I can do it. How many times have you used a software that has this? Even for international use it is amazing, plus it syncs with the best apps and plugins out there. Seriously the best!

Sometimes it takes a bit too long to get an answer for an inquire. But they get the solution right the first time! So no negative comments.

Avantages
Ecwid was very intuitive when I set up my online store. It has all the features you would expect to find, and things are explained in a way that the most basic user would understand.
Inconvénients
The only problem I ran into was that I couldn't choose the exact priority mail option I wanted for my product; I was given one that was less expensive, so my customers and I end up splitting the cost of shipping.

Great customer support, and it essentially makes one store for multiple online store platforms. Can use connected to Square payments as well. Best used as an order receiving software. Very easy setup compared to other e-commerce stores, no coding required on your store platforms.
Inconvénients
This feels like a software that you only use if you have low volume of sales. The free version does not have the functionality or design for a large volume of customers.

Avantages
It looks great on smart devices! It has the ability to add a simple piece of code to your site and your cart is up and running. I save a lot of money with Ecwid as in it is free unless I am adding more than 10 products and the SEO is amazing! Very short learning curve to use this software and it is fun to work with. It has a clean dashboard which is easy to use.
Inconvénients
There is only an ability for email support to create a ticket. For me this is frustrating because I like to have chat support available as much as possible.

Thrilled with my ecwid website
The experience was much more enjoyable than any I had had in the past.
Avantages
As a 70 year old technophobe, I found ecwid to be very intuitive and so easy to manipulate. I loved the step by step approach to building the site, and I always knew exactly where i was in the process.
Inconvénients
I didn't like coming up against having to go back to the start and upgrade my subscription every time I wanted to add a new feature. That is quite annoying and each level needs to be explained in cleaner, clearer language for us technophobes.

We integrated Ecwid with Wordpress. It was pretty simple to set up. There are lots of guides online to support the user. It is popular with friends and I can see why.

Had some trouble with products not showing up on our website. There are other options on the market that are more intuitive and robust.

Ecwid is functional but we need a major overhaul in appearance and navigation for our customers
We use ecwid as our online store for selling specialty paint supplies. It was set up several years ago. We recently upgraded but need major help on making our store more appealing to customers. We also get a lot of complaints on how difficult it is to navigate around the site.

Swag store set ups
I have found this product to work pretty well for my small business. I create apparel type products for individuals in various organizations and teams. By setting up a general swag store with different categories for each group, these individuals are able to place orders directly by clicking their logo to open their store. I set order deadlines for each group , and can do multiple orders at one time if needed. I have found adding products and categories is quick and easy!
However, I would like to be able to offer discounts in my various categories, maybe to one category, but not all at any given time. I am unable to figure our how to do that.

I do my entire business by myself (maybe not the best thing but it's where I am right now). Ecwid allowed me to get my shopping cart up & running without any help! And my customers love pay pal so it was a great fit! I impressed myself!

I was so intimidated about adding an online store to my website because it seemed to be a daunting task. You can imagine my surprise when it was template-based, point and click, copy and paste and the store was up! The sales tax integration was even more helpful. My store was up and running in no time.
Inconvénients
Ecwid places a limit on the number of products you can include in your store catalog for free. If you have more than 10 items, you will need to pay to add them to your store.

I found it a bit frustrating setting up my copy. It took a few times to change the font size and type I wanted. The line spacing was also hard to adjust.

It's pretty easy to use. There are some added functions that would be useful to have, but they are already being discussed in the forums.

There is a learning curve with ecwid. I set up a few items for my own site and it took much more time than anticipated. There is supposed to be an option to connect Ecwid with Square but I couldn't figure how, even after contacting support

Value for Money
