I have found Ecwid very easy to use, but with features limited as intended to encourage upgrading to the paid plans. Now we have the premier plan and I still find the "Combinations" option, which we need to manage inventory of items of different sizes and colors, kind of confusing. Every time I remove an option for being out of stock I also am forced to delete the combination because it says there is a "conflicting combination". I am confused as to why Combinations have to exist and where there cannot just be options. For people who aren't savvy when it comes to HTML some things can be tough to figure out. Your live chat is very helpful with these questions, but for example when i wanted to display more items on my store page so that people wouldn't have to click on the tine 1|2 Next Page button, there was no where to go for me to look for that information- which I think is rather basic. Live chatting gave me the simple answer on how to make that change, but maybe if there was a FAQ on Store Appearance or something like that it would provide easier control. I have also had live chat fail to answer why, on certain orders, the email we receive from Paypal lists the only line item as "Order 3271", instead of multiple line items for the items purchased. This causes problems with our accounting and invoicing through Quickbooks. My store number is 2920087 and Order 3271 was one of the orders in question. The help I got on this issue did not make sense and did not help me fix the problem. Otherwise I have been very satisfied with Ecwid.

I started using Ecwid in 2012 when I was starting a webstore for my business. I've never built a website before and was able to figure out how get Ecwid integrated with my site with minimal effort. Blows Shopify out of the water. They ability to embed the website into my website (by only copying a chunk of code!) is amazing. I sell only a few products with 300+color combos, and ecwid is able to do it all. Customer service is THE BEST for any service that I use. You call, and they fix or help with anything you need....really, ANYTHING!

Great alternative to WooCommerce

Ecsid is a nice alternative to the widely popular WooCommerce. Due to us facing a few issues with WooCommerce and deciding to move away from WordPress we needed a new platform so we chose Ecwid. Overall they offer excellent customer support, great help and guides and an excellent intervention with EPOS systems.

I wasn't sure what to use over three years ago that would support my need to have a small store with the ability to expand as needed. Ecwid is the product that has made the difference for me. E Commerce made simple

I have been able to create a very robust e-commerce website through Adobe Muse. Ecwid was straightforward simple to plug in and get working with the site. I miss some search and sort features when creating sales reports, but have a feeling that those might be available with some of the higher priced tiers. Ecwid is a great value.

Good for starters

Easy to use shop software, also the implementation on the website is done in no time. Overall a good software.

Does the job

Reasonably intuitive and easy to use, but withholds some of the most basic functions like order editing for the most expensive of accounts when it should be available to all. If you only need the basics or are prepared to pay top dollar then it does the job.

Ecwid has grown with us during the start up of our online boutique. This is a great storefront for a new business on a limited budget.

I think the shipping options could be set up better but overall a great program especially for those just starting out. I recommend it to those I know wanting to try out selling online.

I got on with Ecwid early. At the time it was the only shopping cart that had so much flexibility for shipping. In my shop some one can buy 2 items or 2002 items and i need to be able to set for everything in between. Easy to use, good value.

Love Ecwid!

I had to rush to build my own e-commerce site as I was planning to terminate a relationship with my previous web designer who had taken over a year (at $1000+ a month) to build our e-commerce site and had made no significant progress. I basically had a weekend to find a platform and get it setup. I found this because it worked with my merchant services so I wouldn't need a separate account for our in store transactions. I have it through Wix so I'm missing a few features that are available on the stand alone Ecwid platform. It still works really well for us, and we've been able to capture a lot of sales we have missed previously!

Ecwid is a great tool

Ecwid has been relatively easy to use. We use it as single widgets instead of the store as it is designed. The Ecwid team helped us set it up correctly, fixed random issues we would have, and evaluated it to make sure we were getting the best use out of their product. I have appreciated what Ecwid offers.

This is the best shopping cart I use from the customer experience point of view. My stores with this cart require the least amount of technical support, which means the user interface is fast, clean, and easy to figure out without support. Ecwid customer support is excellent and always available.

Very handy website shop!

I run a gymnastics club and I use Ecwid on my website to enable parents to sign up and pay for classes & holiday camp sessions, to pay for competitions and buy badges & kit. I've had the shop up & running about 4 years now and it is fantastic! Simple to use & maintain even if you are not great with computers (like me!) it has really reduced my admin workload and simplified my payment system. Thank you Ecwid!

Ecwid has been easy to use and just great for our company. It has everything I need to keep track of orders and customer service is right at your finger tips.

Pretty good value

The Ecwid platform does produce a nice-looking store and it has achieved good results for our group. As the store administrator I wish the control panel was a little more user-friendly and intuitive. While I am sure it is working properly I don't always get the results I expected, so the learning curve is definitely there. I would recommend this software to others, however I would also recommend to proceed slowly and do some test items before you go live, particularly with the shipping options.
