I like the simplicity of back-end functions as well as Ecwid technical support. These two aspects combined make this software very user friendly.

I feel that the financial reporting could be better as well as synchronization with other platforms.

I love how it automatically updates my website when I add products. It is also connected to my Facebook page and that also updates automatically. Saves lots of time and effort to only have to do this once. I am only starting to use it, so I'm looking forward to experiencing the sales and recording facilities of Ecwid.

As I said before, I am only just beginning to use the software and am a bit frustrated at not being able to make my shop page look like I want it to. I hope that once I do a bit more research it is as easy as setting up the page was. At the moment though, I'm spending lots of time doing nothing. :(

Easy to use, I was able to connect to a South African Payment Gateway, one of the biggest challenges if selecting a shopping cart software. Quick to add to our website, easy to add new products, add discount codes. the only challenge my clients have is to find the button where to add the discount code.

Fairly simple to use, lots of customisation options, good customer support. In my experience customer support is vital for confidence in a product or system, and I have found that in general the support that Ecwid provides is really helpful and fast.

Inconvénients

Initially placing large numbers of products on the site was time consuming. But much worse was trying to rearrange your products. The process was hideously slow and clunky. To Ecwid's credit, the whole process has been improved out of sight. I now have very little to complain about.

I have Zapier set up to transfer all the info from a Google form into my contacts when people sign up to the Limerick School of Acting. Used to spend hours doing this myself. So handy.

On rare occasions I get duplicates or no transfer at all. Because I can't afford the next plan up I can't reload jobs

Everything is so easy to use and access, I was a total beginner when I first started with Ecwid. Which leads into the next thing, the customer support and technical assistance are EXCELLENT. Absolutely the best I have ever experienced.

Inconvénients

I think there could be a little better value for money on Ecwid, like being able to edit and create orders. This is not available on the Venture plan, and can be found on other ecommerce sites for the same price as the venture plan.

ECWID is webbased and very easy to try and then to move on to a reasonably priced 'Pro' version.
My company has particular challenges with presenting our goods which means we needed to customise how the flow worked and needed ECWIDs help. They were always fast (we are probably talking of a response time measured in seconds rather than minutes) at letting us giving us the code to make the changes we needed and talking/ supporting us through the process.

Ecwid is an intuitive system for getting started and developing your eCommerce business. I integrated it with my Wordpress website in under an hour without any hitches.

Using Ecwid as a standalone online store looks to be more difficult to set up than integrating it with my existing website.

You will really like the cart because you will get extensive cart features, deals and discounts as they are partnered heavily and integrated multiple shopping payment options.

Ecwid is easy to use and understand. Most solutions with as many options as Ecwid offers are complicated and cumbersome, not Ecwid. We can make quick changes, updates and create new categories and products in seconds. Our favorite feature is the ability to embed the store into our site, so our clients have an excellent connected experience.

Ecwid is not very well known, wish it would have been easier to find when searching for a solution.

I specially like ECWID's proactive approach to consumer needs. They have all the apps that one could possibly need plus some! Timely blogs nudge you on just when you want to give up and think "I don't have time for this." The pricing of plans is bang on for price conscious users (as we Indians definitely are).

Inconvénients

Only if the free starter site could be made a little bit more flexible! For example, I don't want to put any pictures for my categories but I have to, to cover up the big icons of tied up presents that would other appear. Also, some of the text sizes and placements seem misplaced. For example the "sign in" is a tiny little text, which one can easily miss. The category simple texts are close together under the name. I would prefer them to be bigger and placed more apart.

I found the platform very easy to use and for an affordable cost it offers all that I need as a startup online business. I have recommended it to others and to my design students.

I haven't identified any major flaws as yet. There was only one thing that I found so difficult that I gave up and that was connecting my store to eBay and Amazon..very complex set of steps to follow.

I like that it is really easy to setup and add to website. I set this up as I was building a website for a client. After I added the code to the website, the client can now edit and add/remove items from the website store using the Ecwid web interface without touching any of the code.

Inconvénients

The feature to add all of the items to the website at once instead of one by one is a little hard to find. There is no clear path and I have to click around a few times to find that feature.
