Dealhub has reduced 80% of deal errors for a SAAS business
Dealhub as a company has been great. The whole team has gone out of their way to help us. The product has reduced errors at the back end by about 80%. The approval workflows have given visibility to management about discounting practice and it has allowed us to automate this process.
One of the big learnings is that if you are looking at changing your ERP and getting a CPQ, do the CPQ first, then change ERP. We did things the other way around and the ERP conditioned far too much of our CPQ implementation. We are managing subscriptions, this was the most painful thing to have to map into the CPQ, and a large part of the pain was with how we needed to work within the constraints of our ERP.
Avantages
the guided selling process was key for our team. Previous process was wide open and too many errors would happen, meaning that fixing them was tedious and time consuming. We use HubSpot and the integration is quite good.
Inconvénients
It is quite blank slate. The platform requires everything to be built from scratch. Luckily we had a great implementation team to help us build.
Some of the logic takes getting used to, and the "table builder" for Dealroom and PDFs is not easy to modify because there is no GUI, it is column widths and trial and error.

We couldn't guide the quoting process. Both tools provide a very open way of quoting and required the sales team to know the pitfalls and to operate honestly. Subskribe looked really good, but at the time we looked it wasn't quite mature. In the next year or two I would expect it to be. Dealhub (and Subskribe) were the only products that had a modern user interface, could handle complex approval workflows (we needed line item level approvals as well as overall deal level approvals) and could handle multi-currency. Another important factor was working directly with the software company that built the product, not through a partner. We excluded the others because they didn't feel modern (Mobileforce) or have the functionality we required (eg. Cacheflow didn't have line item approval workflows, but they might have since updated this). Senior Salesforce Developer
My experience with DealHub has been quite positive. The platform provides a lot of useful tools that make it easy to set up products, manage pricing, and create accurate quotes. The seamless integration with Salesforce keeps quotes synced up with the CRM.
That said, there are a few things that could be smoother. Setting up more advanced features and customizing workflows can be a bit tricky and sometimes requires extra time and effort to figure out. Despite these minor issues, DealHub has been a valuable tool for streamlining and customizing our sales process and making things run more smoothly overall.

What I liked most about DealHub CPQ is its seamless integration with Salesforce. This integration ensures that all quotes, pricing, and customer information are automatically synced between the two platforms, making the sales process more efficient and reducing the risk of errors. The UI friendly interface and flexible pricing options make it easy for sales teams to create accurate quotes and manage complex pricing models, which significantly enhances productivity and customer satisfaction.
Inconvénients
What I liked least about DealHub CPQ is the occasional complexity in setting up and customizing advanced features. While the platform is generally user-friendly, some of the more advanced customization options can be difficult to configure without additional support or technical expertise. This can slow down the implementation process and require more time to fully optimize the platform for specific business needs.

DealHub - Cofense
The DealHub team has been super helpful in taking the time to train me when I took ownership of the tool. Whenever I have questions I can reach out to the CSM team or the Support team. My questions never go unanswered.
Avantages
I like the integration capabilities DealHub has with Salesforce. We are able to pull data from Salesforce into DealHub giving our reps all the information they need while creating their quote.
Inconvénients
I dislike how subscriptions does not allow visibility into our MSRP. The way we set up subscriptions is to automatically increase our price by a specific percentage. Since we have that uplift DealhHub thinks that it's the MSRP price. There is no easy solution for visibility into MSRP when using subscriptions.

CPQ Alternative that works for us!
Overall, we have appreciated this product and its teams behind it. We have a wonderful CSM and the support team is very helpful when needed. However, the biggest win is being able to work with a system that is a less complicated and pricey version for CPQ.
Avantages
Very configurable to specific needs. We are a use case that is a bit outside of traditional subscriptions and have been able to use this product for our use case.
Inconvénients
There was a bit of a learning curve at first and the syntax was something to get used to. Since that learning curve, we are able to mostly administer it ourselves with the occasional tickets for clarification.
There have been a few slight instances where at the end of the month we have experienced service issues on Dealhub's end.

CPQ made easy!
Overall, it has been a great experience which was expertly guided by [sensitive content hidden]. His knowledge, guidance and patience is truly appreciated. The overarching goal for phase 1 was to improve the user experience of creating quotes. The feedback from users since going live has been positive on this, which builds confidence and trust within the user base that future developments will be good.
Avantages
The ability to configure it to your needs without requiring any coding skills. It is very logical and has been able to handle our complexity.
Inconvénients
Making bulk changes to product assignment and/or pricing rules can be a bit tricky.

DealHub is flexible but requires a lot of configuration
DealHub has a great CS and responsive support team. The product is good and requires a lot of thought and effort during the design and implementation stage, as is the case for all CPQ solutions. We have made good progress using the solution and look forward to future product updates.
Avantages
I liked DealHub's flexibility. All businesses have a different pricing and quoting setup in their CRM, and DealHub can be set up for many different use cases.
Inconvénients
Sometimes, the page load speeds can be a bit sluggish. It would be great if our DealDesk could make small amendments to submitted quotes rather than ask the rep to duplicate the quote, amend and then re-submit.

Dealhub is a straightforward application for quoting and opportunity. The application and linking to our CRM is not quite complicated though there are areas that still need to discuss with Support Group but overall we are able to successfully linked our system to Dealhub
Inconvénients
My only issue is that because of the time zone difference , we can only contact the Head Office after business hours here in Australia but the good thing is that Dealhub has a good customer service that can help us except of course if we need some configuration

Amazing Platform
Avantages
Dealhub is a highly flexible platform capable of managing complex implementations and challenging integrations. The admin interface is user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and configure. Additionally, the Dealhub Team is outstanding - they are always ready to assist and answer any questions I have.
Inconvénients
The Dealhub documentation can sometimes be confusing and lacks detailed information. However, I'm confident that the recent launch of the Dealhub Academy will address these issues.
The deployment process also has some limitations, as we currently have to deploy the entire Sandbox environment without the option to deploy individual components.

DealHub: Great Tool But Not Perfect
My experience with DealHub has been really good. It really integrates well with other tools also I can easily collaborate with my team so we can share updates in real times.
Avantages
I find very easy to use with a friendly interface. I can easily customize as per my specific need which is helpful. The tracking feature is also great it helps me to track the progress of deals.
Inconvénients
Sometimes it get slow while loading which is irritating also the report are not so advance it misses the deeper insights. I have some concern regarding the pricing factor which is high as compared to the features offered.

So easy to use
My experience with Dealhub has been a really positive one and i am looking forward to using more of the features it has to offer.
Avantages
The Energy sector is a quite complex and a ever changing one. I like how easy it is to change the Playbook and keep up with those changes. I also like how easy it to transfer something from UAT to Production.
The ability to implement complex questions with minimal effort is a big plus for us.
The CSM and the whole team are great and really easy to work with. They made it really easy for me to understand the product and gave me all the tools to be self sufficient and independent.
Inconvénients
The lack of reporting is a minus. Also, the platform does not support all languages across all features.

Solutions Experts and Customer Support are World-Class!
Avantages
The customer support is fantastic. Responses to any submitted support tickets are very quick and they're able to find and communicate the issues and necessary update/fix.
Additionally, the Solutions Expert that worked with our team to develop and implement the proposal playbook was excellent. This person was always available to support, provide guidance, and teach best practices.
Inconvénients
The ability to run reports to understand quoting trends by sales person, industries, etc does not exist. These types of reports have to be run by the DealHub team, which is cumbersome and time consuming.

Honest Review
Preparation of proposals and contracts were really made easier through Dealhub. Maintaining and troubleshooting the backend is really challenging though.

I like the ease of use of the tool, and the ability to customize it to our specific needs. Also, the people who work there are great. Everyone we have interacted with from implementation to support has been truly dedicated to our success with using DealHub, and it shows.
Inconvénients
Areas for improvement are in reporting and audit trail. Right now there aren't very robust dashboards available, and no sort of activity or audit trail tracking available for administrators. These features would be very helpful to have.

Love the Product. Love their support team even more

Love its easy of setup initially. It is also very easy to learn once you use it for a few weeks (as an admin). It provides a myriad of amazing features and is affordable compared to other CPQ systems.
Inconvénients
There are still a few limitations when it comes to real time updates for multi-currency orgs (according to daily changes in exchange rates).

Account Executive using Dealhub
Overall i like it. It has good customisation so you can really build it as you like. Links are easy to send our. Tracking works well.

Scalable and flexible CPQ System (with an excellent Support team!)
Avantages
Our ability to build playbooks that lead the sales reps through the standard creation of sales orders is a huge win. The tool has also been extremely scalable as our products and team have changed. Best features have been approval workflows, integrated redlining, and Dealroom functionality. Lastly, I managed half a dozen tools and Dealhub has one of the best support teams (CSM/general support) I've worked sith. Highly reccomend!
Inconvénients
Nuanced tracking of the changes you make on the different versions can be difficult. Also, there is very limited reporting functionality.

Fantastic experience so far
Avantages
DealHub is very easy to configure in most scenarios. The Customer Success Manager and Customer Support services are fantastic and always willing to help. The UI is very intuitive and it is easy to onboarding colleagues with not technical background. Features like Deal Room, collaboration tools, the slack integration and document generation are fantastic. The DealHub team updates the product several time a year to add new features and to address shortcomings.
Inconvénients
It can get complex when trying to address very specific or complex scenarios. There are some limitations when it comes to price book management for different products in different currencies and it is not possible to have a different price book per currency. The audit trail could be improve as it is difficult to track what has been changed.

Easy to configure & use. Great customer service!
Avantages
Straight forward configuration, guided playbook and easy-to-use DealRooms. When having issues / difficulties, they are very quick to respond and thorough in their answers.
Inconvénients
Some features that we would like are still being built (being able to change expire date after publishing for example).

Admin perspective
I have a good overall experience with Dealhub - once i explain how it works to the sales people they understand it. For some reason our product offerings make some elements of Dealhub challenging to program, and quote but I think I do a good job considering the complexities of our products & services.
Avantages
Able to generate quick, accurate proposals that have a professional and consistent appearance. The quotes and contracts help our back end order entry team place accurate and timely orders.The support team is always able to help me when I get stuck with a programming difficulty. I really appreciate this!
Inconvénients
I am not the person who can best answer this since my interaction is from an Amin perspective, but going by what the sales people say, they don't like way the redlining feature works currently. I think there is a new version that is out, so that will be better.

Good soulution even though we are a small team
Avantages
I dont have time to learn new software of to go thru complex setups - deal hub was quick and painless to get up and running quickly. The price was good for the features provided. The flexibility enabled us to set up complex pricing rules for different types of customers and projects. My sales teams had to spend less time doing paperwork and were able to focus on selling. We saw a 25% boost in performance metrics in calls and meetings since we have implemented it. The team likes the redline feature and the fact we can work with digital features and cut out a lot of the back and forth.
Inconvénients
While the setup was fairly easy, I wish they had some video tutorials so the team doesn’t have to teach new people (which takes their time). If I could just point new hires to the videos this would be a plus. The software itself looks a bit dated, even though it works well. IMHO they need a facelift to make it more modern.

Pros and cons of DealHub
Overall experience is 8/10 as the main thing which we ask for it is delivering the same with quality so someone who has to maintain the client proposal can go with DealHub.
Avantages
The most our team personally liked about DealHub Is there quality of proposal management as well as the quality proposal templates that they provide which not only saves lot of the time but also provide quality proposal document.
Inconvénients
The workflow management of the software is something which we as a team is looking forward in terms of more improvement as when the data seems to be more it start lagging a bit which sometimes feels a bit irritating at our end.

Dealhub is great app for cpq
I am satisfied with the app. very useful to our sales reps. we can pull data from our saleforce-like assets for renewal and any info about our sold products that is useful for users and they don't need to leave delahub to search for serial numbers anymore.
great service experience. I have CSM who assists me . one of the advantages of this product is that you are not alone even after the onboarding we are customers for many years

cpq configurator, easy quote templates, innovate all the time, amazing service support, easy to use and configure - made my brain sharper and smarter:)

I am very satisfied with the app. feature that is very missing to us is the ability to add a gross margin percent field to the approver dashboard. all the quotes are for approval. we are a hardware and software company
but I believe one day they will develop also this feature. they often listen to clients' needs

Excellent CPQ Tool
Avantages
Dealhub is extremely flexible with all the requirements of a constantly changing startup. If I ever run into any complications the support and customer success team are incredibly responsive and helpful. They have one of the best customer support teams I've worked with.
Inconvénients
One feature we're looking for is a more automated generation of quotes but this is on the product roadmap I believe. Otherwise, Dealhub has filled all our (sometimes complicated) needs or been creative in finding solutions for us.

Great product
We replaced an old bespoke system and have built the logic into DealHub meaning we have less user errors when quoting our customers.
Avantages
The low code nature of the solution made it easy to get started with and it has developed into a very comprehensive tool used by our entire sales organisation.
Inconvénients
Our pricing model is complex so the generic setup of managing prices in DealHub don't satisfy everything we need to deal with. We have worked around it though.
