Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics are not competing software, but different products. With its custom variable structure, Adobe can better serve large businesses, while Google can be more convenient for companies that have just started with analytics.

Inconvénients
When you start using Adobe Analytics for the first time, Adobe's diverse variable structure can confuse you. The fact that this infrastructure is not understood is one of the biggest reasons for technical installation and analysis errors. The analysts who go from Google Analytics to Adobe Analytics say that Adobe is very confused and therefore have difficulty.

Lots of fire power, worth the money if you use it right.
We're solving the issue of personalization with Adobe Analytics. Our website will be better catered for each audience.
Avantages
Segmentation is the biggest value I have found with Adobe Analytics compared with Google Analytics. I love being able to easily create custom metrics and then create segments based on those metrics. Once those segments get connected with Adobe Target then the magic starts.
Inconvénients
No where close to being as intuitive as Google Analytics. It takes time to master or even to become functional.

Dynamic Tag Manger
Our company used the DTM for implementation. The developers were able to integrate the tags into their app fairly quickly by just inserting them in the header and footer of each page. Having an experienced group to do the real tagging and make consistent was great and low impact for development team. Other teams that did not use the DTM, have had much longer cycles of rolling it out and trying to make tags consistent to roll up the data across the org

DTM quick for dev team and don't have to have much knowledge---ensures consistency of tags by having a specific team tagging
Inconvénients
If you have more than one header or footer on a page it can cause issues, even tho the browser handle the bad html.
Have had the DTM insert the data first in the prod env instead of non-prod and crashed the site
Not using DTM, I've heard it isn't that easy to use, but maybe that was just our implementation.

Adobe Analytics Suite provides advanced analytics capabilities for our digital media campaigns, specific to Paid Search, Digital Display/Video and Paid Social Media. Reporting is very clear and accurate.
Inconvénients
It took a bit of time setting up for all of our campaigns, and we did run into some complications with all data not pulling through but was able to fix.

Inconvénients
I use both Google Analitycs and Abobe Analitycs and both have fucnionado not found many negative things in this wonderful way to analyze our prosumers. However, I can mention that Adobe's support is not the most receptive or quick when it comes to answering questions or concerns regarding the platform. In forums and other user experiences we can find better quality of support and learning.

A handy tool, but not self-sufficient

Robust features for a price, overkill for small to medium companies
Avantages
We have had good success with Adobe's DTM tag management system and has helped our digital marketing and tracking initiatives. Having that integrated into the suite is helpful and makes reporting much easier.
Inconvénients
Only the highest performing of our marketing sites really gain this benefit. Most of our smaller or non-marketing / ecomm. sites really have done fine with just having Google Analytics.

The workspace are the key
if it's not too slow (loading time, changing parameter, time frame, lead to load, not as fast as google analytics), i would use it daily.
Avantages
- the workspace for project are as fluid as you can be for reporting
- can create custom variable metrics, more complex than google analytics imho
Inconvénients
- the basic report template is a bit abysmal
- slow, very slow
- compared to google analytics it is not very intuitive (compare time frame) if i can use google analytics i will use that first for reporting unless its very specific.

It is flexible for customization and its data is easy to export. It does not have any limitations on data filtering like Google Analytics does. It provides a good variety of dimensions, metrics and data analysis options. Its segmentation is intuitive that helps when breaking down data for a particular product.
Inconvénients
Its online channel is slower as compared to its desktop application. Along with being dev dependent, its extensions building for launch is difficult. It learning curve is steep and pro-level skills are needed to get hands-on on it. It is expensive for smaller businesses and licensing is an issue.

After I read rave reviews, it is worth trying this program or not - I didn’t even think about it. The most useful functions, at least for me, are two - the statistics of repeated views and the ability to analyze the viewing of videos. Here this tool is much better than analogs. The ability to see the effectiveness of advertising is also high.
Inconvénients
A spoon of tar, like any professional tool, is its complexity. Even I, an expert with experience, for a long time understood the settings. But when properly configured - did not regret.

Takes Some Getting Used To
We use Adobe Analytics extensively at work to evaluate our site traffic. The data is very visual and makes it easy for us to discern what is working and what isn't.
Avantages
There is a lot you can do with Adobe Analytics. The drag-and-drop features makes building specific screens easy and quick, once you know the metrics you're looking for. Being able to share screens with coworkers is great - dozens of people can benefit from one person's time and effort.
Inconvénients
The hardest part of Adobe may be signing in. Many of my colleagues (myself included) have been thwarted by its sign-in page. Once you get past that, it takes a while to get a handle on the different metrics available and how to apply them to data. We've had multiple trainings at work but I'm still not sure I get it. But this may be more to do with the trainings we've been given or my own learning curve than the quality of the product.
Also, you'll probably want a business analyst team at your back to set up the different metrics and import data for you.

Great for Charts/Overall Metrics
Avantages
Adobe Analytics is pretty powerful software. It has a user-friendly interface and is great for web analytics KPIs including page views, bounce rates, etc. You can get substantial reports with the filter tabs, which allows you to filter several metrics, custom segments, events and detailed charts/graphs.
Inconvénients
It is very different from other metric software so it takes getting used to the interface. After using for a few weeks, you should be able to get the hang of it!

I love using the tool once it is set up, but setup is a massive undertaking. It is also very costly.

Build the team before the software. Very important is point, don't get caught out with this tool. It's power is phenomenal, however you need an army to get it running and continue to maintain.

By far the best in class Analytics solutions for medium to large scale businesses. Integration available with other Adobe products : campaign, target and also a host of third parties.
UI (workspace) is very easy to use and generates clear and workable reports.

Limited variables, however this has been addressed with recent levels of products available.

1) The interface is very easy to understand.
2) The results of the data are appreciable acceptable
3) The reports are very efficient with graphics which makes it more easier for me as a new member for data analysis.
Inconvénients
Include more learning experience for new members i understand that introduction tutorials are helpful at some point. But include some in depth training videos which can help later on while working on data analysis tools. Reports should have more understandable features it is sometimes hard to understand what features are available and the interface is very different among users.

Adobe Site Catalyst Solution is a web analytic solution created for businesses, large enterprises, non-profits. freelancers & many more. It is highly recommendable solution available in market for collection, analysis, evaluation & reporting of internet data.
It has a nice interface and presents the data in an easy to understand way. In addition, the possibility of downloading any type of graphic in different formats makes the task of reporting much simpler. The filter tabs are another high point of the tool, with the possibility to filter between many metrics, create segments and quickly access the sections that we use the most.
Inconvénients
One challenge I see is the speed of the platform. At times when you are working with real time data or big data sets the platform seems to lag a bit. Sometimes it is difficult to work with if this problem occurs frequently.
Secondly, though it is supported all over the word, however available in no language other than English.

I can not single out any significant drawbacks. The program meets all the requirements of a productive site analysis. Easy to use and has good integration with the rest of the company. In fact, for SEO specialists this is already a standard application.

The integration is the real value if you're using several tools like Adobe Experience Manager, Target, etc. If you're not, you'd be fine with Google Analytics.

As a user of several integrated Adobe tools, Adobe Analytics is key to getting the most of our certain functions, passing data between them. Without AA, it would be difficult to do quite a lot of what we do.

As a user of Google Analytics, AA can take some getting used to, not just because things are done differently, but also because it's not easy to get directly to some of the same data easily found in Google Analytics.

Omniture is so easy to use! I love how intuitive it is to use. The best way to learn the system is get in and play with all the fields. It’s very quick to pull data.

I wish the software was more accurate. There’s usually a 5-10% discrepancy when compared to actual demand. I also wish we could include information about on hand inventory and cost to pull margin info.

a) It is user-friendly, even the client also knows its terminology for eg the pages name comes in category and subcategory, compared to its competitors they give in the URL form.
b) We can see the 2-3 KPI in a single chart, and remove it accordingly as per our need.
c) Drag and drop capability to customize the report for the client
Inconvénients
a) A little bit expensive, to set up the adobe.
b) They do not promote the product, hence people know less about it.
c) Sometimes it takes a lot of time to resolve the issue.

A powerful tool but if you're experienced in Google Analytics you will be extremely frustrated by it.

The workspaces are great for slicing and dicing the data.

The lack of familiar out of the box metrics to use in the workspaces was a pain, we had to create endless metrics, dimensions and segments to even get close to what we could see in Google Analytics.

Most robust web analytics out there
Avantages
There are more features than you can imagine (pro and con!) and you can really geek out on data with their tools. Having support is really important when setting up/testing things from suites to variables
Inconvénients
It's not the most intuitive analytics out there by any stretch of the imagination. every suite is set up completely different so there's a learning curve just switching companies, even if you've been using for years. sometimes it just takes longer to figure out how to get what you need than it should

We have implemented Adobe Analytics to help track usage and customer experience metrics. It's customizable dashboards give us a quick snapshot of our KPIs, while we still have the ability to dive deeper for more in-depth understanding.
Avantages
Adobe Analytics offers an easy interface with customizable features and reports. We started with little background and were able to pick it up as a team and incorporate it into our daily use.
Inconvénients
There is some setup involved, which was a little cumbersome. But, once that foundation was laid, it was easy to use.

With this software, we were able to monitor the overall activity of visitors in real time, as well as to compare current data with those that were recorded earlier.
Inconvénients
The only significant drawback of Adobe Analytics is the rather high complexity, which is why our employees had to spend a lot of time studying the settings.

Adobe Analytics is a powerful corporate solution that can manage large volumes of data, in my opinion (without the sampling that can sometimes affect other tools).
Avantages
A large number of functions available. The software allows you to track the audiences on your website and compare how they evolve in time. You can also observe the online audience in real-time, as well as a variety of data points about those users, such as their location, which is quite important if you want to target a specific market. It's incredible how simple it is to configure and set up. I would recommend it to small to large enterprises who rely on their internet presence!
Inconvénients
Due to a large number of features, it can take some time to figure out what is useful and what isn't. You may, however, personalize dashboards as soon as you do so, allowing you to focus on what's important.
