The killer feature is the close integration with my OS. I have AI superpowers every time I need them.

You really need to know what you are doing. Elephas is great, and it's easy to use, but you really need knowledge to fully leverage AI content creation it its full extent.

Avantages

It is rare to find a file drag and drop AI agent builder With unlimited storage and such a wide array of file types that it accepts. Most have limitations for no stated reason such as some competitors can’t accept images were marked down files or audio files or video links or even video files themselves. I haven’t come across any file types that Elephas does not accept into the knowledge basis of the agents. With the SetApp Subscription you get around the moderately high subscription cost to Elephas And forward you access to some basic ChatGPT models out the gates. For me personally, I would run through the credits that I get with SetApp Using ChatGPT and with my high tier SetApp Subscription I don’t want to burn AI credits where I can help it. So for me personally, I take advantage of the API keys that I plug into the AI provider field in Elephas setting. Grok, Meta, Gemini, ChatGPT, And Claude are all plugged in for me as I have accounts at those respective companies. I also use JanAI over Other options Elephas Recommends next to Jan AI On their support pages to run a local server and a local large language model that I can situate on top of my Elephas AI Knowledge Bases or “Brains” As they are referred to in Elephas.

Inconvénients

The mobile app is really nothing more than a additional iOS Keyboard and for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to add content from my iPad or iPhone to second brains or knowledge basis stored within Elephas on Mac. And the keyboard functionality is pretty bad, so the frustrations of using it have led me to drop it altogether and the vision portrait on the website as it relates to using the iOS functionality doesn’t seem to match my experience, but please keep in mind I threw in the towel on this after lots of frustration and have it revisited. It has my MacBook experience is supreme

I often have to go into preferences and I would prefer one single pane of user interaction, But speaking for the MacBook app I can Zelle you there are two but entering preferences/settings Is a little annoying to click the drop-down menus from either my global shortcut menu at the top right or the drop-down to preferences On the top left

The UI is definitely getting better with every update, but it still feels a little lackluster and clunky.

I discovered this tool thanks to a friend and have become my Swiss-knife tool for content creation and AI productivity assistance. I like the fact that you can create brains, bringing your own data, and chat with it, as it was some sort of Yoda character. This is a game changer. By far the best app of its kind as of the moment.Additionally, the team is very proactive bringing up new updates and fixing small bugs.Kuddos and continue the great job.

I guess it can't be avoided, but API calls to OpeanAI results being quite expensive... but I guess it's the price to pay for having a customized brain at your service.

It's a fantastic app for managing text: translations, rephrasing, fixing text, and more. I switched from another popular app and I'm extremely satisfied. In addition to this, it appears to me that it holds great potential for advancement as an AI tool.

Maybe the product should focus on improving its access and functionality as an AI general tool, if that's what the developers aim for, but for now, it's already great.

Mind behind Elephas is brilliant. I believe this is the most feature complete product currently available in the market. Their Super Brain feature is really cool and used extensively.

Elephas is only available on mac and iOS. Me being mac user is able to harness the power of Elephas but at the same time on mobile I am an Android user so there I have to see some other tool which disrupt my workflow. It doesn't become seamless.

I like the continue writing, and the rewrite feature the most. I really like how it integrates seamlessly into Mac OS - and hope it stays lightweight and minimal. Hotkeys are great too!

the brains that you can create from information you have already created and then interact with, is one of the most brilliant features of any AI I have come across. you can get new perspectives on information that you have already curated, only helping expand what you can do.

the user interface has a fairly steep learning curve and isn't that simple to interact with, sometimes a feature like rewrite will completely change what I am talking about to a degree that removes all of the important topics I am trying to write about.

Elephas creates leverage in any repetitive task my team and I do. It brings the incredible power of GPT to any application on your computer and gives me the power to write little pieces of customized "software" to perform any task I need it to.

There's a learning curve. There are so many features that it can be a bit overwhelming to know where to start. My recommendation is to pick one high-leverage use case for you and branch out from there.

I love using the smart write feature to reply to emails and help me write out documents. I have found it to be a great time saver.

It can sometimes be buggy and will take a few attempts to get an appropriate output. Sometimes I will use smart write, and it will paste from clipboard vs creating relevant content.

I like that Elepas integrates with Mac and iOS so I can use it everywhere and I'm not stuck to only using a browser. It makes it very easy to integrate into my workflow and use it everywhere I'm writing during the day.

Inconvénients

Sometimes it's hard to get prompts just right, but that's really an issue with OpenAI. I don't have any issues with Elephas.
