i like being able to change my prices when ever i need it and without anyones help. i can just login and do any changes i like. it also saves everything to the cloud so nothing will be lost.

Inconvénients

after using it for almost one year now, it got a little bit slow but cleaning the old files does the job.

Pretty easy to use.

Inconvénients

Poor customer service. Must add on third party apps to make the system usable. Some of the third party apps are expensive. Some of the apps will mess up your entire system; it doesn't seem like Clover tests the apps prior to publising.

I like how this software gave me more opportunity to easily invoice clients and guarantee safe payment.

At first it was hard to explain how to use the software from someone who does not actively use the app, but it still easy to use.

user friendly interface, portable so it allows the POS to go to the customer and not the way around, tablet-based... a smart POS for retail that integrates with merchant's inventory and order taking.

initial setup can be a hassle, inventory and menu configurations will need some time configuring. Electronic transaction Pricing is not rated in this review.

Definitely a wide variety of options for categorizing our inventory, organizing and pricing our items, and categorizing our sales.

Inconvénients

I assume the reason is that since it’s such a well known POS company, it receives a lot of call and a large staff, so maybe they aren’t always the most knowdgable, patient, or helpful. But if you learn it’s system fast, you won’t really need them.

To be fair with the major issues like outages or system updates they help you right away, it’s usually the small and intricate details that they have trouble helping on

This system is super easy to use! It has all the functions for reporting and refunding directly built into it. It comes it 3 different models to help fit your business needs. You can also set which users have access to different apps on the machine. The machine also offers offline payments when your WiFi isn't running well!

Inconvénients

Sometimes the machine will run slowly when the WiFi isn't running properly.

Clover is an efficient product that reduces the amount of time to accept a payment. You are able to access previous transactions for patient names and amount taken.

Inconvénients

When it comes to the Clover app, I have nothing bad to say about it.

Clover has the best interface and is very user friendly. The function to do reports at the end of the day is also great!

I had some integration issues to strat out with but customer service was able to get everything taken care of. since then we have had no issues.

Recently my store started doing mobile grooming. Clover is perfect for being able to accept credit and debit cards on the go so people have options other than cash or check. It makes our lives easier and our clients lives as well.

Had trouble logging in at first and setting up a passord.

It looks super sleek and the option to use it on your own device was quite appealing. Set up was easy. I was able to upload all of my items and services without issue.

Inconvénients

It doesn't rotate to landscape. I couldn't believe it. I uploaded everything was ready to go and then went to rotate to use the Ipad the way I do with all my other merchant services and it didn't turn. I contacted customer service, I gave feedback, I asked questions. Nothing changed. I ended up dumping it.

we like how easy it is with clover to check people out -- even prompts them for a tip and is streamlined for them

the back end of clover is a little more complicated when integrating with a third party system, like booker.

There arent many pros to choosing clover over any other POS. The design is he only thing that I found positive

It is extremely pricey, as you get charged for extra features. Also, one of worse customer services out there

the clover pos syncs with our booking software, so that is a plus. it has a sleek design as well. it also prompts the client to tip, so we don't have to awkwardly ask.

freezes up about 10% of the time so we have to revert to a backup POS device. support is very frustrating when something goes wrong also... such a process to resolve issues.

Avantages

Great for business that uses credit cards. There's also a website of theirs where you can scan your network to see if you are PCI compliant.

Inconvénients

There is no iPad systems. Wish they would make devices (iPads) that have iPad OS. It would have a smoother UI and less crashes, but know apple and their strict rules, that might not happen.

It is easy to move around, which was nice because our former credit card machine was not able to be moved around the office

I like how they come with tablets for the servers to take with them to the tables. also, you have the capability to swipe customers cc right at the table and prints the receipt.

I have only used this for one business in particular, but I love that you can redeem codes and even check-in on the app.

It's generally easy for customer and staff, mostly like the reporting aspects. The mobile Clover is very handy.

Customer service is awful to nonexistent, when I have questions it is next to impossible to get them answered in a timely manner.

The Clover Flex is a great handheld piece of equipment that we use daily at our property to take credit card payments on the go for our various events and activities. It has enabled us to serve more customers since most people don't carry cash anymore. The handheld is easy and convenient. We are able to run a report to track the different events we sell and report to our accountant easily.

There was a bit of a learning curve to setup the different categories, but once we figured it out it has run smoothly

I like the ease of taking credit card payments and that I can see all my transactions from the handheld with out an issue and that I can keep it all password protected

Not so much the software, with the handheld is a bit bulky for use. I think it could be much smaller.

This sotware has been excellent for consumer loyalty purposes. The simplicity of them logging in at the point of sale to accumulate points or to uses points has worked extremely well.

We were attracted to Clover for its price and the mobility of its POS systems for our conferences. So far, it has functioned efficiently and we like the ability to track the sales of each user. The browser admin console is easy to navigate and view and print reports.

Inconvénients

The bluetooth smartphone units have given us some trouble. The first one we were sent did not have a working chip reader, and it would take several attempts to get the slide function to work instead. After calling Clover, we received a replacement but it wasn't the bluetooth model. If you can avoid talking to their customer support, do so. We spent about an hour on the phone with them trying to explain that they had sent the wrong one and that we needed a new bluetooth unit! It has since been figured out, but that experience left a bad taste.

Customers immediately receive a receipt to their phone/email so we print a lot less physical receipts.

I like how easy it is to check into my favorite coffee shop, Community Cup! I gain points towards future purchases and it’s so easy to pull up my app on my phone!

Clover is a scam. It's overpriced and the interfacing is awful. I wish I would have read other people's reviews before I invested in it because I have had to contact a lawyer to deal with this mess. Absolutely terrible company and the customer service is awful. I wish I could give 0/5 stars. Thosudands of dollars wasted!!

Initially when looking for a point of sale system it really needed to be easy to use and integrate from my old system. Aaron from Clover was great to work with and very very patient in answering all of my questions.

Honestly...NOTHING...overall this is a great inclusive product that you can change and modify to your liking. You can make it do what you need it to do. That is the best part...I was able to customize it and make it work for my unique business.

My company recently switched from using Square POS to Clover. Clover seems to have more in depth features and (this may be totally unrelated) but doesn't have to connect and reconnect to our wifi constantly throughout the day.

Inconvénients

The only con I can think of is that it's not quite as streamlined as Square was. There are many features, but the interface just isn't quite as simple. It's not difficult to use though, at all.

Not very customizable. I think this is by design but still. Also, CLover needs to make sure they pay attention to security. We had an issue last year and CLover was not up to date on their security of the software.
