Avantages

I was looking for a company that offered content scheduling for multiple companies with approval processes in place to aid in workplace collaboration. I also like being able to view metrics for multiple platforms in one place. I have integrated it with Canva to make transferring new posts easier. I also like the hashtag collections and trending hashtag suggestions.

Inconvénients

I would like to be able to promote certain posts more easily.

Avantages

That it's reliable and is clearly designed and maintained - and supported - by real, decent human beings who want to provide a great service. I like to be able to move posts with just a drag of a block. I love the 'per channel' customisation too.

Inconvénients

LinkedIn tagging - frustrating. Accept this is likely LinkedIn but I find it the only feature that isn't a great experience for me.

Avantages

The cost of this platform was the motivation behind our decision to subscribe. Once we interacted with the customer service representatives to help set up our account that solidified our decision. The Loomly team was dedicated o ensuring our success on their platform and we felt that from every interaction we had with them. We truly get the VIP treatment every time we reach out with a question or concern!

Inconvénients

I would like to be able to post multi-photo or "carousel" posts on Instagram without manually going in to edit as well as be able to tag users under define content. I would also like to add a "link in bio" feature so I can ensure links go up with posts as well. I understand that all of these features and more are in the works so we are excited for the opportunity to grow with Loomly!

The cost and the features included!

Avantages

Extremely reliable platform that will help you make more money as it will handle some of your most time consuming worries like client content suggestions, client approvals, and flexible scheduling. The level of feedback us unreal and every piece of advice is delivered exactly when you need it.

Inconvénients

There are many extra tools included for free like reporting, link tracking and community management. Those features won't replace your dedicated tools, but they aren't intended too either.

Pourquoi choisir Loomly 

Sprout social has gotten expensive and hasn't updated their platform since their most recent acquisition. It's pains me to have to pay for multiple social profiles when they all belong to the same client.

Loomly were not the cheapest but as soon as I took up a trial I could see great value from the platform's simplicity. It's as easy as a replacement for your google sheet content planner with a ton of useful tools added on.

Avantages

It is super nice to see the calendar view and the ease of use is pretty great. I also love the recommendations they provide based on if your post is posting at the right time, right length, or even just some ideas on what to post as far as holidays that day etc.

Inconvénients

You can no longer post directly to instagram! As an agency we made this platform as a recommendation to clients and now it really stinks that it no longer does what we said it could do because they took away the instagram publishing. This is huge.

Pricing honestly.

Avantages

Loomly includes all of the features we were looking for. Notably, the post approval workflow/feature is really helpful and something that isn't included with other solutions at a similar price point.

Inconvénients

Our team hasn't found many things that we don't like about Loomly. There were a few adjustments that needed to be made to our workflow, but nothing too significant.

The only thing I would change is the ability to display one post scheduled for multiple dates/channels separately on the calendar.

Avantages

Ease of use. Once you link your social accounts, it is very easy to start posting and scheduling. If you are short on ideas, Loomly has a section to give you popular hashtags on any given day. The entire process can be as automated as you wish.

Inconvénients

The analytics. I wish they were better and were more options. They are ok and they help, but I personally use another program for analytics.

Avantages

The best thing about Loomly is the general user-friendliness of writing up and scheduling posts to all our different social media platforms. It's very easy to tweak the individual platform's posts to suit their unique uses. Also the topic suggestions when creating a new post are very handy if you want to get something out but are stumped for content

Inconvénients

There aren't really any cons that I've run into. Getting started there was alot to take in, but it didn't take TOO long to get the hang of it all.

Mainly because it seemed to do the same thing but cheaper. The low price was really the selling point for Loomly.

Best thing about the software is that it allows you to plan and schedule social media content in advance and also allows you to create visuals and write posts.It can be easily integrated with your social media accounts.

Inconvénients

The thing which i like least about this software is that it integrates with very few social media platforms which might not be good for some businesses.It can be expensive also for some small businesses.

Avantages

We love how easy it is to navigate through Loomly. It's user-friendly and well organized. We have a team of individuals that work on Loomly and it is super easy to assign roles, get notifications and make updates when needed.

Inconvénients

Three things I would love to see on Loomly:
1) Automatic Instagram publishing - which I know you are working on but a timeframe would be nice to know.
2) Easy access to the master calendar on the mobile app.
3) For "passed" scheduled posts, add an option to directly post instead of having to reschedule.

The pros are:
- It is very visual and intuitive
- The customer service is great
- The relationship price/value
- To be able to fine tune for each channel
- To be able to export the calendar
- To be able to assign different roles to people for free
(customers, workers...)
- You have metrics
- Tracking of the personalized URL (if you use it)
- Phone alarm and email alarm for different events
- Email update for incidents (pending aproval posts for example)
- You can leave comments to colaborators
And many more
I'm now happy Hootsuite customer service was terrible and they wanted to charge me 500$/month for the same this app has for less than 200$

Inconvénients

The cons are:
- No automatic best time to publish
- No auto publish on Instagram (you have to spend one network to connect it to buffer)
- No possibility to mention on facebook
- If you duplicate a post it does not duplicate the fine tunning for chanel
- No scalable, if you have more than 50 channels the price difference is too much.

Avantages

I like the fact you can view the whole calendar month at once, plan out your posts and if you're not ready to post you can at least place a placeholder until you're ready. Super easy to use.

Inconvénients

The colors of the post status are really similar so at first glance it's difficult to tell if it's a draft or scheduled. Different colors would help.

Avantages

The best thing about Loomly is being about to utilize it easily with multiple people on our social team. I love being able to approve content from anywhere and plan out in the future with our team of 4 people.

Inconvénients

I wish you could add images and videos to the library from your mobile device. Right now I have to send photos from my phone to my laptop and then upload them to Loomly from there. That process needs to be a little easier. I think general functionality on the mobile app could be improved.

Avantages

I love the calendar view and being able to plan our content all in one place. It honestly has saved me so much time and it will make scaling our marketing department and business so easy.

Inconvénients

I wish Instagram could auto-publish like the other platforms - BUT Loomly has been open and honest about working with Instagram to make this happen and in the meantime, they have made it super easy to publish to Instagram with a push notification that literally takes 30 seconds max.

Really easy to schedule posts. The calendar drag and drop feature also makes life easier, and you can create one post and schedule it for multiple platforms really easily

Inconvénients

We don't always use the auto-scheduling feature, instead we use quick posts to map out our coming weeks. If you don't mark a post as scheduled you get a notification email saying it hasn't gone live. Would like a feature where you can just pencil a post in with no scheduling.

I've been using this tool awhile after moving from a competitor. the interface is simple and easy while creating posts and building the calendar using suggestions is a lovely process

Inconvénients

I would like to see analytics open at a lower package, even if its only some basic stuff but these insights are useful but for now will just use the social channels own analytics.

I am able to plan out content for the month ahead of time for all locations in one easy to use tool!

Inconvénients

I'm still waiting for full Instagram capability.

The team at Loomly work tirelessly to fix bugs and create a better product. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from spreadsheets - it pays for itself in the time you save.

Some features are still coming. However, the team keeps its users in the loop. The application gets better everyday.

The calendar functionality makes it easy to visualize posts across many social channels and stay organized. It's also very easy to use.

It's a little more expensive than Hootsuite, the reporting is subpar, and it doesn't work correctly on all the social channels we require.

Loomly is easy to use with a team and on the phone! It is one of the easiest platforms I've used for Instagram content creation.

Loomly could use more capabilities for posting on Facebook and Instagram, so I hope the app is still building!

Instagram posting can only be done on mobile, like on many other similar services.
