I like the way it tracks everything for your company. You out have to make sure all information is entered properly an hq will do the rest.

I haven't worked with it long enough to find any real bad cons about it yet.

HQ is very intuitive and the flow of operations is exactly how we do it

The reports are not customizable. There are several great reports, but some analytics are not available without a separate module

Overall, I'm happy with the software itself, but the support has been really reactive instead of proactive. They ask me for things they already have or could figure out themselves; if more proactive, it would speed things up and save me time.

Inconvénients

It will take much more of your time than you realize as you sort through all the things you find out later that HQ could've advised you of ahead of time. Either poor training or lack of care from the support team.

Avantages

Very easy to use and has great potential, enjoy using the system. Our guests also like the online booking system.

Inconvénients

Nobody answers the phone when you need immediate assistance especially on the weekend. I do not expect flawless, I do expect technical assistance especially when its not user error.

Initially unsure about using the software as I had local options however am now confident I made the right choice. I still have a few minor items to work through but am becoming more confident with the system. The support system is great. We started renting straight away with a professional integration and system with our website. I was given a mentor for setting up - [sensitive content hidden] - who has answered many questions and provided detailed training. He is very knowledgeable and will go our of his way to assist. I needed assistance on many items initially which wasn't an issue for the team. I was given multiple options to assist me learn the system including zoom meetings, step by step videos and handbook. They consistently follow up and check in which was helpful.

Inconvénients

- GST options for Au - but team have worked around as far as possible
- Would like to integrate with Verizon
-24/7 support via phone would make it 10/10 but have been able to work around most times - would be happy to pay for this option
- Still integrating some payments but this is being updated

I’d like better integration. They stopped certain support for integration. It caused my developer to pivot, and the site not quite what I wanted. ALSO, the backend is not user friendly I’d recommend really working on that.

The software works as prescribed. I have absolutely no complaints it serves the purpose, and a whole lot more.

If I had to choose, it would be that the interface is quite substantial and maybe could be made a little simpler for individuals who are new to data input.

In Namibia, we only have DPO Paygate available online, and unfortunately, it does not integrate with HQ Rental. This is the only drawback, but I am optimistic that this issue will be resolved in the future

We can everything and anything that we set out to do in this software from reservations to reporting and management.

It is complicated to set up on your own but they offer excellent support if you want to have them do everything for you. They also have an amazing documentation for set up to assist you. Barely a con.

The professional support during the implementation made the transition to the new software easy. Frequency of training and follow up calls were just right and enable smooth implementation.

There have been a few glitches in the backend that have not yet been resolved. Work-arounds have been provided so we have been able to continue with ease, however our expectation was for these issues to be solved.

I like most that software is very user friendly, the number of other critical components that can be intregrated into it but, what I "LIKE THE MOST" is its price.

The softeware lack of functionality in regards to some sections of the rental agreement and portions of Quickbooks. HQ Rental Software is unable to mapp in customer's deposit.

It's complicated to do the setup. You get a lot of help, but you will still need support because of the complexity.

The product is good and for us it took a lot of time to customize it to our needs. Therefore you need excellent agents that support you on making the HQ product fit your company's need. It was very painful process to create a standard email template that was as nice as we liked it. Customization is not the best quality of HQ rental software
