The best chat, automation and marketing software

Overall Gist has been fabulous. I have found a powerful, fast and easy to use live chat tool. But it does not stop there, with the same tool I have solved other marketing needs such as Email Marketing, email campaigns, sales funnel and more.

Avantages

Automation tools such as workflows and campaigns have been the answer we were looking for to improve our sales and support flow. Simply the best of the best.

Inconvénients

I feel like they need to improve how bots work. While it is a very powerful tool, being able to set the bots to respond outside of my customer service hours is critical.

A powerful automation tool

Very happy with it, and all i see is updates!

Avantages

We started to use Gist a couple years ago, when they used to be called ConvertFox. When they started the tool it was possible to notice some hiccups, but team started to upgrade it, and release a lot of new features. Today, Gist is a super powerful tool, with things like:

- email automation,
- knowledge base,
- bots,
- site automation
- Powerful automations based on visitor action,
- broadcasts, drip campaigns, behavioral email marketing and way more.

The email deliverability rates now are also pretty high, and is our go to tool for our main website.

Get it, worth every dollar

Inconvénients

The only thing I still don't see, is the visual flow builder for the emails, but I heard they will implement it soon.

My new CRM

Excellent particularly their customer support.

Avantages

Generous subscriber and email sending plans. Easy to use and has now replaced my last email marketing solution too over and above its CRM and customer support features. Excellent app.

Inconvénients

They are a startup so some features I want are lacking but projected to come in future.

Gist works well for us

Avantages

Love the single unified conversation view that feels like a social media messaging app but has all the power I need to assign conversations to team mates, snooze conversations, and tag contacts if needed. Also love that it brings our website chat widget, Facebook Messenger chat and one of our shared inboxes all together into one view.

Inconvénients

The only problem I've had is that for the shared email inbox we use it for (our info@ inbox) it doesn ot always deal correctly with accented characters. This doesn't prevent use from using it but would be nice to fix.

Pourquoi passer à Gist

Better value for money compared to Zendesk (which we still use for customer support but are considering dropping in favor of Gist so that Gist has all of our customer communication in one place), more all-in-one compared to Drip.

We create our own Chatbot in no time, without having to program for it.

The IOS app could be better, in app notification for more workspaces could be better.

Intercom's nemesis

Great. I love their support team.

Avantages

Gist has a lot of great features and a roadmap that is amongst the best in the industry. Their support and interaction with us has been great and we will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

Inconvénients

Everything is pretty easy to use. When coming from a different provider, maybe some fast track features to transfer information from one system to another.
