Was the best, now, very expensive. Not going to buy again.

It was good, now is bad. I have constant problems trying to connect to different clients, getting a "Connection error" without any explanation. Wasn't bad a couple of years ago, in fact, it was the king of the hill.

Avantages

When I started using TeamViewer 2 (yes, that's a 2), years ago, the program was the best of the best, and they kept growing. For me, speed was the most important thing because many of my clients were using slow connections. Also, the ability to start connections with only one ID and behind firewalls was excellent. Transfer files were good too, but basic.

Inconvénients

I used it for personal use until TeamViewer 12 when I decided to go pro and buy 3 channels. A very expensive software, that I thought I would keep using until I died. Then I learned that Teamviewer 8 was deprecated, then TeamViewer 10, etc.
And the worst part is that they're going to phase out TeamViewer 12 also. I bought a program and I'm forced to change to a subscription? Thank you, but no, thank you. I prefer other solutions. They also try to force you by not allowing cross TeamViewer 12 <---> TeamViewer 15. So, if I have a client that has TeamViewer 15, I can't give him support! Outrageous.

Fluid remote access solution

In general, TeamViewer saves us countless hours in troubleshooting conferences. It also makes sharing files easier and more fluid with the drag-and-drop feature.
Overall it is easy both for setup and usability.

Avantages

We mainly use this software to make things easier for our clients. What I like about it is how easy it is to install and how straightforward it is to maneuver.
Also instead of sending files through separate channels, you can simply access through directly on the second device that has permission.
It is also available on both Windows and MacOS.

Inconvénients

Even though their team was very professional in solving some of our technical issues, they replied either very late or completely didn't get back on certain occasions.
We had some sessions hung up despite the network being stable on both ends. But I believe these were isolated cases or glitches.

TeamViewer

It made my life easier when it comes to support. Cause I am able to assist users wherever they are with no limitation. It allows you to install apps using your admin credentials without kicking you out.

Avantages

TeamViewer make it easy to support users by remote connection.

Inconvénients

The licensing is bit expensive. But perfect

Best Software for Remote Control

overall I have good experience with this because I easily manage my team and work also if team got any issue related the project easily connect via this software thanks.

Managing remote teams has never been easier

Avantages

It is a very friendly tool, managing remote desktops or remotely accessing different computers at the same time and having a real-time visualization is something very easy to do with said tool without needing to see a delay because the communication is interrupted

Inconvénients

The tool is very expensive compared to others, but we consider it to be worth what it costs.

Cross-Platform Capabilities But Expensive for Businesses

I have experience 2 years with Team Viewer.

Avantages

Team Viewer works on multiple such as windows, linux, macOs, android and ios.

Inconvénients

Team Viewer is expensive for larger team. So, the cost of Team Viewer for business can be high.

Using team viewer for work

I think TeamViewer is excellent software for what it proposes. I use it especially to remotely access other machines and it works excellently.
I can configure machines and applications remotely, as well as transfer files and retrieve files simply.

Avantages

TeamViewer is a useful and practical tool that allows you to access remote machines and work on them as if they were local machines. Sending files to a remote machine and copying files is also quite simple and practical.

Inconvénients

Something I didn't like is that they changed the old interface to a new one that I didn't really like. Finding the old features was a problem. They should have given the user the possibility to choose between one or more interfaces. But for new users I don't think this will be a problem. I also think that for common, non-commercial users the price should be a little lower.

Great for remote support

Great tool! Use it every day. Quick Support is easily deployable.

Avantages

Easy tool to deploy (many option documented). Love the ability to elevate privilege prior to establish the connection. The Host product is great for unattended lab computers.

Inconvénients

The new interface, thought modern, is hard for me since I was so comfortable with the legacy interface.

Remote desktop

It was acceptable for a free version but not for a enterprise solution.

Avantages

Team viewer is an excellent remote desktop software. Ease of use and deployment.

Inconvénients

Because I only used the free version, it constantly dropped connections.

Review on TeamViewer Remote

It helped to encourage my team to work together, through projects and sharing of ideas. When I started at first, the connection was fast, everything was fine. I could work remotely from home with my computer. But after switched to the pro version, The connection breaks and its difficult to get it connected back. You cannot log in except you update it, and it can be frustrating.

Avantages

The application is easy to use and simple to learn. It has handled technical issues for me without the help of any physical person. It works with devices that are offline, you can put them on. It is very multitasking.

Inconvénients

It was over priced and expensive when I went for the subscription. When I connect remotely to a laptop, the screen goes blank. The connections sometimes goes off. It was not like this from the start, but over time it started having these issues which should be looked into.

Safe, reliable and simple

Really enjoy the capabilities with this software. The safety of the passcodes is especially nice to have an ensures a safer connection. ITa team was able to fully access our computers and perform any task necessary without needing us to manually assist.

Avantages

TeamViewer has been excellent in providing a safe tool for our IT team to be able to access our computers and perform maintenance, check on issues or update software. I love that you can create a new passcode easily so you can have safer access. It is quick as well which is helpful when the person who needs to access your computer is not within the same location.

Inconvénients

It can sometimes lag or not connect right away. Minor problem, and sometimes just requires patience. If there are multiple screens to access it can sometimes get tricky.

The Ideal Solution for the Anticipated Moment

It helps me with technical support and allows easy access to devices without the need to be physically present. It also promotes teamwork by facilitating the creation of future projects, allowing everyone to share their ideas through a single presentation.

Avantages

I love using TeamViewer Remote when I need technical help and don’t have someone from the team nearby. This way, it allows technical support to be managed remotely. Additionally, it has made online meetings with superiors much easier.

Inconvénients

I have nothing negative to say about TeamViewer Remote; I find it excellent in every aspect.

Great for customer support!

We are using this all the time for support to our customers.
Installed on around 500 clients and using it daily.
Never any problems.

Avantages

It works on every platform.
It's fast.
Filetransfer works good.

Inconvénients

Could be easier to share the connections in a team.
The connections should be for the whole company or for groups by default, not needed to share from one user to all otehr users.

Solve everything in easy way.

Avantages

This system is really easy to use and i have a really friendly interface & Installation and setup also simple and quick . Anyone can easily get and work on this . Mostly I'm really impressive about the system security because it use Two-Factor Authentication and specifically with encryption. This can be Use in any platform and performance is also really good and its high speed connection. In here we can fully control the device and at same time we can transfer the files easy. This is good for both business and personal use and its free for personal use with some operating systems and also its with reliable purchase plans.

Inconvénients

Mostly its high cost for the business plans such as beginner business. Main issue is hackers can easily attack the user system with this . Teamviewer is really depending on the internet, some times it will be a issue with the low internet access peoples, it need higher performance and it will slowdown the low end Computers.

DIE Remote Management Lösung für den Helpdesk

Avantages

Sicherlich der Standard im Remote Management verschiedenster Systeme. Sind immer wieder von Ausreißern zu anderen Marktbegleitern zurückgekehrt. Der Funktionsumfang ist übersichtlich, aber mehr als ausreichend. Für die täglichen Supportätigkeiten bestens geeignet.

Inconvénients

Leider sind die Preise konstant gestiegen und natürlich hat man auf ein Abomodell umgestellt. Insgesamt kommt aber aber auf seine Kosten und Nachfragen nach Rabatten wurden bisher immer positiv beantwortet.

Easily support remote computers with Teamviewer

I’ve been an IT engineer for 20 years and have used TeamViewer for multiple clients, in multiple environments. Connectivity was easy, fast, and secure. Installing the product took just a few minutes on both Windows and Mac computers. Deploying the software to clients is also easy and fairly painless.

Avantages

What I like most about TeamViewer Remote is the ease of connectivity to the target computer. Simply enter the Partner ID of the machine you need to connect to, select Remote Control, then click Connect. A prompt will appear, asking for their TeamViewer password - once that is done, you are connected and remotely controlling the computer.

Inconvénients

The free version of TeamViewer can disconnect at times and prompt you to purchase the product.

Genialidad de aplicacion remota !

Puedo decir que dessw mi casa me conecto ala computadora de mi trabajo y puedo realizar las labores como decia desde mi casa y me tranquiliza ya que cualquier contratiempo o emergencia lo puedo hacer desde mi casa o en el lugar en que me encuentre.

Avantages

Es genial esta aplicacion ya que la utilizas desde cualquier parte y esta en sincronizacion , con tu computadora del trabajo y te da la pauta a realizar las mismas funciones desde tu casa . Y ademas de ello me ahorro costos gracias a esta genialidad de aplicacion .

Me encanta la apliacacion y los precios son justos .

Teamviewer day to do in IT

Same as my Pro's and Cons.
I wouldnt stop using Team viewer, i prefer it over other remote support softwares for its ease of use and professional/secure features.

Avantages

Ease of use and setup time. I like the option to have unattended access setup on frequent remote servers that i need to access from my Laptop. Since i tend to move around to different locations for work. Remote access is critical for me

Inconvénients

I wouldnt really say its a deal breaker, but at first, the installation was a bit lack luster in what options to pick (unattended/restricted access). I had to reinstall the product a few times to get the correct version i wanted but apart from that, its all good. I have come across the black screen bug but i believe that may be a Server issue. But if its a known server issue, i think Teamviewer should add this on their FAQ.

Me ha encantado, me ha permitido realizar trabajos de una ciudad a otra sin tenerme que desplazar… y dejar funcionando informes y demás…. También me han prestado asistencia a mis laptops de trabajo desde otras ciudades.

Me encanta que cualquier persona hoy en día puede usar cualquier programa o dispositivo o hacer cuálquier tarea o trabajo, y no quedarse varado por algo que no entiende porque tiene. Un soporte con cualquier asistente que use esta app y le esté prestando este servicio.. Hoy en día es un canal de comunicación entre empresas de software, o empresas que presten servicios de enseñanza… prestan asistencia remota

Inconvénients

Podrían mejorar la velocidad de cómo funciona en el momento de la asistencia… la velocidad del servidor.

Advantages of using TeamViewe Remote

As an IT support, I have to support my bank branches in different cities, so it's very fun to connect to them remote and give them support instead of moving physically to their branch.

Quick and Easy Access to help remote users with technical issues

I've used TeamViewer for over 15 years and it has always been very useful in my company. We've never wanted to use anything else.

Avantages

I love that logging onto a user's computer is quick and painless. I love that you can easily assist a user while explaining what you are doing.

Inconvénients

I don't like when there are updates and you try to log in and you receive a message that says the user has a more recent version than you, and it won't allow you to log in.

Team Viewer Changes make use impossible

We had to reinstall TV on all computers after this update, puttimg a serious crimp in our work. Team viewer locks you into one year deals, then does not refund after 28 days. It took us significantly longer than that to even get half of our computers back into our network. Team Viewer's customer service people are very nice, if you can get them on the phone. They have no mechanism for helping paying customers with emergencies, you are told to leave a message and they will call you back. Overall terrible experience recently with Team Viewer. I recommend anyone thinking of using this app go with anyone else at all. Your local internet scammer is a better choice.

I used to like ease of access. That is now gone.

Their update made the app impossible to use.

Pessima esperienza

meglio non averci a che fare, soprattutto in maniera commerciale
non ci hanno avvertiti dell'aumento dei prezzi, inviando una mail ordinaria a un dipendente invece che all'amministrazione.
Non hanno accettato quindi la disdetta per giusta causa, visto che avevano aumentato i prezzi, e ci hanno mandato ripetute fatture e aziende di recupero crediti su una licenza che non abbiamo mai utilizzato (di fatto abbiamo pagato una licenza un anno in più senza poterla mai utilizzare)
Alla nostra apertura del ticket riguardante il fatto che avevamo pagato un anno in più (abbiamo pagato per non sentire aziende di recupero crediti), ci hanno risposto che per loro era giusto cosi', e che oltretutto non ci facevano causa loro perchè le licenze non vanno rivendute (ci hanno quindi accusato di aver venduto la licenza a un cliente, quando noi abbiamo invece venduto il servizio di assistenza sistemistica, il cliente ha semplicemente usufruito del "quicksupport")
Di fatto continue minacce, non risolvono il problema

TeamViewer: Makes Collaboration Easy

Avantages

I personally liked how easy it was to use TeamViewer. The interface is user-friendly and I was able to quickly connect to another computer without any issues. It also has a lot of useful features like file transfer and remote printing, which came in handy when I needed to access files or print documents from a different location. Overall, I found TeamViewer to be a very reliable and efficient tool for remote access and support.

My overall experience was fantastic and I would definitely recommend this product to other people in clients as well it's something that is a must-have now for me and my team.

One of the best remote viewing and troubleshooting programs.

Overall i have used this program for years and will do so until something changes. Over the years they have tried more and more to get money out of you trying to sell you on other features. I still only use the free version of it and i'm happy with that.

Avantages

I like that it is easy to direct someone to the website and they can download it with little problem. It is a simple install and from there its quick to fix the problem.

Inconvénients

I don't like that the install has this step asking if they want commercial or personal or neither. Just remove that and eliminate the confusion.

Mi capita di utilizzare questo software ogni tanto e devo dire che è quello con cui mi sono trovato meglio all'interno di questa categoria. La grafica è strutturata bene oltre che essere molto semplice e intuitiva. Una volta eseguito l'accesso ci sono diverse modalità di connessioni al dispositivo da remoto anche queste davvero semplici. Providing IT support with Teamviewer Remote

Avantages

Ability to connect seamlessly to an end user's device to provide support over any type of internet connection. Possibility to monitor specific information like disk space, cpu usage or even update status.

Inconvénients

The price is significant for this tool adn cheaper alternatives exist.

A good remote desktop application for professional and daily users

I have used TeamViewer to access remote pc in India from Japan. Overall experience is good.

Avantages

A team viewer is a professional-grade tool. The connectivity and the user interface are very good.

Inconvénients

It is a little bit costly. It may not be economical for occasional users.

Reliable Remote access with room for improvement

My overall experience with TeamViewer Remote has been positive, with its user-friendly interface and reliable performance making remote access and collaboration smooth, despite occasional connectivity issues.

TeamViewer is my pick for corporate use case

I have been using TeamViewer for more than 10 years and it is a very trust worthy piece of software. It has been around when there are no modern software tools for screen sharing like Zoom, Google meet, Skype and also remote control software like AnyDesk. While the most modern software's are light weight and easy to use, when the stakes are high and security is top priority, TeamViewer is a go to software.

Avantages

TeamViewer's security is top class! It has both mobile and desktop applications for accessibility. The best part is that it is free to try for non-commercial use. It has been around for many years and in a corporate environment, it is a trusted and a go to software tool.

Inconvénients

Security is also the best part and also the worse part. In an attempt to make it secure, there are a lot of gatekeepers or road blockers. Respecting the firewalls, security policies etc. It is great for the corporate environment with high stakes but other software would do a great job for a simple use case. Also TeamViewer has trouble with low bandwidth connections.

Faster than other software

It is not as easy to use as the old version. After updating to the new version, many functions are not as easy to find as before.

For our office meetings and working from home.

Using Teamviewer for Remote

Using Teamviewer for remote access is easy to use. It is easy to install and not much configuration is needed. Interface is user friendly.

Avantages

It is intuitive and easy to use. It is also more secure compared to other products.

Inconvénients

The licence is rather expensive. Registration process is quite tedious.
