Avantages

ProShop allows me to manage every aspect of my business in one package. It's easy to teach and train employees on how to use it. Our business has grow significantly since the implementation of ProShop. It's allowed us to take on more work, more difficult work and maintain the same level of overhead. The system is organized nicely and creates a lot of efficiencies in non manufacturing roles.

Inconvénients

Some of the menus do get deep and there are a lot of ways to navigate to the same location. Some people like this, and others do not. It is a complex system but it isn't overly complicated to navigate.

ProShop ERP provides us with a holistic system for estimating/quoting, order processing, and quality management. The customer service we received while implementing the ERP & QMS system was exceptional. We feel like ProShop is genuinely invested in our success as a company. The following aspects of ProShop ERP stand out to us most as the system's pros:
- Seamless flow from estimating/quoting, to order processing, quality control, shipment/delivery, and final invoicing of the customer.
- With the Flying Start package, the software enables a significantly easier and smoother transition to obtaining quality certifications, such as ISO 13485 and AS9100. All of the documentation is included with the package. It only needs to be adjusted based on a shop's specific needs.
- Paperless tracking and ability to store inspection data indefinitely.

Inconvénients

ProShop ERP is an ERP & QMS system that was created by the owners and operators of a machine shop. So, they understand what shops need most out of their ERP software. This is what makes their system as good as it is. However, like all robust software systems of this magnitude, it requires continuous improvement. Since we've started using the software, I've noticed updates that are made regularly to improve/update the appearance/interface and user experience. We don't have any major issues with the software because each time we've encountered an issue, a customer representative has either helped us resolve it, or they have shown us how we can adapt and find a solution for the time being. We've never not been able to accomplish what we need to in the software, however, we look forward to ProShop's continuous improvements because they are clearly always trying to listen to their customers and improve all aspects of their software.

The software includes many features that are difficult to navigate.

Inconvénients

Proshop is complicated to implement. It is not intuitive. Support has gone drastically downhill since we purchased 18 months ago. Easy tasks take way too long to accomplish. Training new employees is very time consuming and frustrating for everyone involved. The help menu is almost worthless. The software has many glitches you have to learn to deal with.

It is easy to operate and navigate when searching for something.

Avantages

The creators of this software knew exactly what a user would be looking for in an ERP/CRM software. Everything about this software was easy to understand and quick to follow. The online help tool allows for the user to look for the answer(and usually find it) before contacting support. The work order and Customer PO modules are extremely detailed and allows for all information to be entered and easily accessible. Ordering COTS items with the Vendor PO module is a breeze, and only takes seconds! The simplicity yet details of the software is what really makes it the best tool for our team. I love that ProShop has the ability to store so much information within its modules, and makes it easy for the whole team to follow along an order and know exactly what is going on and when.

Inconvénients

There are so many modules and components to the software that it did take a a couple implementation and training meetings to fully understand the software, but the implementation team and trainers really made the process easy for our team.

Most of the cons I've come across to date are found to be strickly from my lack of knowledge on a user's end.

Ease of use, training is thorough and always available, support team are the best no problem too small or too big they always find way to help, and able to run the business remotely even on the other side of the world. The big thing is it has everything included you don't have to keep buying modules to run the normal run of the mill things.

Takes a while to learn the system you need to be prepared for around 6 months of teething problems unless you have a experienced user that would make a world of difference. other than that I don't really have and dislikes because any of my old dislikes are likes now because I sort of know what I' doing which helps heaps with anything really.

The integration of the Quality Management System into the work flow of processing orders. Immensely helpful in getting ISO9001.

Inconvénients

Being able to email customers or employees from Proshop. Sometimes a little machine shop centric makes for a few work arounds if you are not a machine shop. Integration with financial package was a little more involved.

We replaced a lot of highly customized spreadsheets and white boards with ProShop, I have written ERP packages for a living, implemented SAP and Oracle as well as some mid range ERP's and ProShop is hands down THE BEST I have ever come across. We ran an extensive review process of everything out there and nothing came close in the demo's to ProShops capabilities and ease of use. It's just intuative, our team picked it up very quickly and I cannot imagine running our business without it.

We implemented the ProShop system and were certified for the first time as a business to ISO9001:2015 in 6 months - we could not have done that without ProShop !

From estimating new parts through to invoicing ProShop does it all well, and everything is easy to find as all the data is linked. We utilize the estimating templates, which we have customized for our specific needs, to create accurate estimates in less time than before we had the system, moving an estimate to a quote takes a couple of mouse clicks, when a customer PO comes in creating a Work Order is another couple of mouse clicks, the same to create packing lists and invoices from the Work Order.

No Cons Whatsoever - I'd take the exact same decision to implement ProShop in a heartbeat without hesitation as it revolutionized our business - allowing us to do 3x the work with the same staff

I love how documents that link together will pull information forward and auto-fill the related fields. This is such a time saver.

I would like to see a "Print Traveler" feature added to work orders. Box labels work, but a nicely formatted traveler would be much more professional looking.

I really love this software. It is designed to be a paperless system which makes record keeping much easier. Very user friendly to navigate through. It is Internet based so you can upload pictures and videos to a specific job or operation. Job costing works live all throughout the process. Machine efficiency, utilization and indirect time are very easy to track. Very easy to create your own search query and pull very specific reports that may be unique to your business. It goes on and on.

Inconvénients

The scheduling function was a little cumbersome to use. It was difficult to re-arrange for the order desired. However, the latest upgrade corrected this problem and now has a drag and drop function that makes this process much easier and streamlined.

Needs a lot of updating from machining needs to wire harness needs.
We have not been able to link our request for quote through our website into ProShop. We need to manually input them.

So much information with such little effort. Once you understand how the software propagates your data everyone everywhere across your facility has live up to the minute data. We're talking paperless! All your data is current, Live scheduling, perfect history tracking, it's also a time clock system. You get live feedback on how your progress is currently at all stages of production. Every department across the company uses interconnected modules that auto fill information throughout the company. It has an internal mail system to easily reach anyone at anytime. I don't have to walk all over the plant to get a simple answer. The fine crew at Adion Systems has thought of everything... Did I mention Paperless! No travelers to get all dirty or lost. No more wondering if I have the most current print or current anything for that matter. The only information available to you is the current version. All the information anyone needs is simply at your fingertips. If you're going to collect data it might as well be accurate data and this is as close as you're going to get. ProShop is very informative and helps facilitate all aspects of the company. Job descriptions, training modules, full cutting tool library, Measuring tool calibration. It's Awesome!

Inconvénients

If you are not use to a data driven system it can take a bit to learn but it's well worth it. You'll find things go much smoother.

As a Quality Technician, I like how easy it is to set up and access data. I have used it to maintain the calibration of over 1500 pieces of inspection equipment, monitor shelf life product, train employees on the use of inspection equipment and document their proficiency, and define and document specific inspection methods. I have been through many Customer, ISO and AS audits, and ProShop's ease of use and linking ability has made the process go smoothly and quickly.

As a Machinist, I like knowing that I can access only the most current information for the part from the Work Order. Adding helpful information about set up, running, inspection and deburring of the part is easy. Adding photos is simple and very helpful.

ProShop maintains traceability all the way through the entire process. From Purchase Order, Rev level, material, machining operations, first article and in process inspection, assembly operations, outside processing, packing and shipping instructions, to invoicing with ease.

Inconvénients

There may be too many different ways to do the same thing, some of which use the auto fill feature and some that do not.

Once you start integrating your process into the software the system becomes easier to use over time. It keeps the entire company connected on all tasks and jobs.

I find the advanced search function difficult to use. It is not very intuitive and sometimes cannot find the items I am searching for.

I like everything that I have used with this software. I have used it for Quality departments and also as a production supervisor. I think this software is is very user friendly. The support from them is fantastic. They have come out to our facility a few times and I have attended a couple of on line training sessions. all of these experiences were great. I cant say much on value for our money because I do not know how much my employer paid for it. I would recommend this software to any manufacturing company.

Proshop does a great job at capturing and organizing drawings, documents, programs and all other digital aspects of a job. It manages inventory and bill of materials great and has very good navigation between its different modules.

Inconvénients

Proshop has very little ways of customizing the way it appears on the screen or documentation when printed.

We like using Proshop because it is a paperless ERP system that our employees use daily for time tracking and work orders and all info is real time. Inspection, Training and preventative maintenance are all handle in Proshop without having to have different spreadsheets or software. This has made maintaining our ISO 9001 quality system a lot easier than our old software system.

Inconvénients

It would be nice if some of the modules were mobile friendly.
