Fantastic Support and Nice Experience for Leads
We didn't end up using it much, but the Support was Fantastic!!! Very helpful and amenable.

The fantastic support team, and that it provides potential clients with an online experience vs a "document"

How limited the layout options were; we could pull off some of the deeper customizations we wanted to in order to match our current website and branding.

Better Proposal is WAY BETTER for Business
I love the platform. I enjoy the creative options for graphic design, the utility, and the attention to detail like facilitating brand colors, logos, and corporate continuity. The customer service reps are usually very helpful and accommodating, and the price point is just right.
Avantages
I LOVE Better Proposals because the platform gives me an advantage over my competitors. It provides a unique digital approach with a polished (aesthetic) without losing utility. The platform allows me to leverage graphic design, ease of use (point & click), and sales strategy (pitch & content).
Inconvénients
It's not very easy to pull in existing presentations. While I believe there's a way to pull in a PDF or Word Doc and edit it as a Better Proposal Doc, I haven't figured out how to do that effectively. So I have to reproduce some of my existing presentations, pretty much, from scratch.

Not as good as the competition and dishonest leadership
I found some actions by the founders in how they handled customers who pre-paid for a lifetime account in extremely questionable territory on ethics.
Basically they took tens of thousands of dollars of early investors money and gave a lifetime account promising they would roll out online payments for credit cards.
When they finally rolled it out, it is a free service for paid plans but they went back on their word for these early investors. They now want a percent of ALL the revenue paid through the platform ON TOP of the actual payment fees from Paypal etc.
Except, if you give up your lifetime account and convert to a monthly subscription model, then they don't take a percent of your sales collected.
The way they still to this day deny this basic integration they promised to these customers - their lack of bug fixes - their rude customer responses when it comes to this top
Avantages
I like that I can make a proposal, save things as a template, and make a decent looking proposal.
Inconvénients
I found the template builder a little bit clunky with the design and lost my designs a few times as I was learning the platform.

Great system- would recommend
Put it this way, I very rarely go out of my way to go and leave reviews. But on this occasion I sought it out because it was deserved.
The thing that has stood out the most for me with BP has been the customer service. You get through to an actual person within a couple of minutes, who always have the correct answer, no matter how big or small.
It royally does my head in that most SAAS products and any service providers for that matter are transitioning to auto bots and endless questions to try and determine your answer. Whereas BP is literally an actual person, within minutes. Refreshing.
Last year two of BP's senior team had many calls with customers to gather feedback. I raised a number of points about minor tweaks that could be looked at and they were completely open to these. It actually feels like they change the platform based on what their customers want.
Avantages
In previous roles, proposals have been crudely formatted word documents or presentation pitch decks. It took a little while to get used to the system, but once you have the gist of how it works, it's incredibly easy to use. We consistently receive great feedback from prospects about the proposals.
It's incredibly easy to use internally and doesn't feel 'cluttered'.
Inconvénients
It does take a little while to get used to, but that would be the case with any system.
There are a few little features that would be useful, but none that I would deem critical.

Great option for branding

It's Better Proposals then daylight second..
The support is 11/10 they are always there to help, I think I know all of them by name, it's not some random person. I have recently moved most of my customer offerings over to BP as it enhances my brand.
Avantages
It really makes my proposals and documents look so professional. It's clean, modern and is perfect for it's purpose. User friendly. Notifications on actions from customers are just so good.
Inconvénients
I've worked around most of the things that BP can do better in. But can do with some more capabilities.

Extremely happy with BetterProposals
Very good. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you grasp it you'll fly.
Avantages
It is very flexible, and there is a lot of good video tutorials if you want to master your proposals. Another thing is that it is not only for proposals, but you can send contracts, information and much more. It looks very professional and the customer support is the fastest I´ve ever experienced.
Inconvénients
To be honest I don´t have many cons with Better Proposals. It might not be for every business, but for me it is pretty much spot on.

A must-have for your sales funnel
I think BetterProposal is GREAT value and a critical step in my sales process. The proposals look great and are easy to use. If I ever have a question the BP team is SUPER fast to help. Amazing really!

Being from a small country our specific payment process (mollie.com) is not supported, but that's okay. If this was critical I could always use STRIPE as that is supported.

Competent contract management
Avantages
I like how straighforward it is. You make the template and then you can just send out a complete and impressive contract/agreement/proposal in minutes. We used to do these by modifying a word doc and this is just so much faster, easier, and more professional.
Inconvénients
Nothing. It's all good and we use it all the time.

A great addition to a business

Better Proposals is a great asset to my business, it keeps me one step ahead of my competitors with my quotations looking stunning and is definitely having a positive effect in securing more work. The team at better proposals are brilliant! their technical knowledge is brilliant and the entire team offers a very friendly service.
Inconvénients
Being a SME, I'm always on the go, so an app would be great for me to create proposals on the go if you're not so savvy with computers, it's not easy to set up better proposals with Xero accounting software however, in saying this, the technical team went above and beyond in helping me do this which I'm extremely grateful for

Proposals I would have never done right myself
Better Proposals improved a process that I didn't even know I could improve. I never really used formal proposals before because it was a pain to do a nice one. But Better Proposals introduced me to some new ideas I could use, and potential clients love them!
Avantages
I love how Better Proposals can literally put you in a different level than competitors. Most businesses don't put a lot of thought into their proposals, and most companies don't do anything interactive with their proposals. But Better Proposals gives you high quality designs, and lets you insert amazing widgets into your proposals, like interactive pricing tables, payments, live chat, and signatures. And you can do it fast with the great template features.
Inconvénients
I don't like how some of the features are locked behind some higher plans. Not that they are super expensive, but I would have preferred to see plans based mostly on the number of proposals instead of locking important features away. There are a couple of things that I think MOST people will want to do with their proposals, like Zapier integration, that should be included. Regardless, these are a small number of features that are limited, so it's not a deal breaker.

Better Proposals — not bad, could be better (pardon the pun!)
Avantages
Better Proposal allows for fairly easy set up of templates and is great if you're sending out large volumes of proposals. It will give advanced data and insights into the potential client interaction with the proposal. I like Better Proposal for its dashboard as well as it tracks your metrics in the dollar value of the proposal.
Inconvénients
The text editor is a bit weak and often there are weird bugs with spacing and copy/pasting text from another source. Once you've got a template you like it's easy, but changing things once it's been set is quite annoying. If the text editor improved and broadened in its capabilities, it would be the perfect proposal software.

Avantages
Beautiful, easy to use, flexible. I've learned that the more I work on my templates, the less time it takes to create a really remarkable proposal with high close rates. It feels great when people tell me how great my proposals are. I don't tell them I can produce a fabulous 8 page proposal in about 40 minutes from my client call notes.
Inconvénients
You have to name your text blocks and media files well because there is no preview function.

Affordable and Professional Proposals
Avantages
It's so easy to use. No learning curve. And LOVE all of the new templates.
I also love how I receive an email immediately after a client signs the document.
I like how Better Proposal lets me know how long the client has read the proposal- it let's me know if they are serious or not.
The software itself is very simple, and professional. Better Proposals definitely steps up your game with their professional onboarding system.

I cant think of any. So far I am really happy with it

My proposals are finally beautiful!
Create visually appealing proposals and cut down the time to create them from 4 hours to 1 hour, max.
Avantages
Totally Online, white labeled and Zapier lets me connect this directly with Xero to supply an invoice on proposal acceptance and get paid instantly. Proposal tracking features let me see when they've opened and are busy reading and I can make myself available for questions through chat functionality.
Inconvénients
I'd like the option to host on Betterproposals servers with CNAME.

As a web designer, I need my proposals to be just as much a work of art as the sites I create. Better Proposals makes that possible, with a simple backend and stunning output. Plus, the software tracks how long each person spends on each section of the proposal - which is amazing. PLUS, it's incredibly affordable.
Inconvénients
I would love to see a few more options for section design. What they have looks great, so I'm not complaining. That said, more is always a good thing. PLUS, I wish I could have multiple pricing charts in one proposal. Big oversight.

Product name speaks for itself
My overall experience so far is a truly positive one. Will be considering staying on with their starter package after my trial as I believe this platform provides an advantage over competitors in proposal writing. The pricing is also reasonable and greatly justified by the value provided by the product.
Avantages
I generally dislike this aspect of the business in both industries within my areas of expertise which are website development and graphic design, however, with Better Proposals I find that it removes that bitter taste when thinking of preparing a proposal or contract.
Simple, clean, user friendly interface.
Convenient integrations such as CRM and Live Chat.
The templates are beautifully designed and gives that professional look and feel that can wow clients. It stands out from the basic templates you'd find elsewhere on the internet.
Inconvénients
As I'm currently only running this on Free trial for a limited time, I have yet to come across any cons.

BetterProposals has changed how I sell my services - for the better.
A 36% conversion rate and improving!
Avantages
I love the ease of use of this platform. I set up a template for each of my services. Then, once I've had an initial phone call with a prospective client, I send the proposal. It details all of the services in a beautiful way and really helps me show, not tell, the value of my services.
Inconvénients
The design experience is so easy to use that it lacks some flexibility I wish for. Also, some of the integrations can be harder to setup - It'd be great to have more of the "add-ons" available to the base subscription.

Ultimate timesaver software
It saves more than 15 hours per week, with the templates for proposals I have created in the past.
Avantages
It helps me keep track of all my proposals, what stage they are and most importantly, use previous proposals as templates for the next one. Tracking of opens, read time and proposed and won work is great.
Inconvénients
Very few, it does everything I need it to do - Perhaps integration into my bookkeeping software would save even more time, but i recommend it to all my B2B clients.

Ease of getting proposal signed and paid for!
Avantages
This software is probably some of the best support I've used in a while.They are constantly improving and adding features. Hands down one of the best software I've used.
I love the fact you can accept payments, even subscription payments. I love the fact you can integrate it into your site so that the proposed link and URL is on your site (White Label). I just love the fact the dev is actually making good on their roadmap of improvements!
Inconvénients
Nothing, this software does what it should. I can't complain because the cost is great and the features are even better!

Send better proposals
Avantages
We switched to this tool from sending out slideshows. It’s much better than our Google sheets, that’s for sure! We love the templates and blocks you can create. It’s nice to know when clients are looking or reviewing proposals too!
Inconvénients
The biggest con is having to email the proposal. The in-tool email is really limited, I never want to use it, so I use a dummy email and then just copy the link to send to my client.

Highly recommend - the product keeps getting better and better
Wasn't incredible at the time I purchased, but was good enough. Thinking the developer would leave the product as it was, I was happy enough.
Delighted to have been wrong.
The developer has continued to add functionality to the system, as well as continuing to enhance the pre-existing features. They're also branching out into new areas, allowing me to better manage a variety of customer documents I use.
Love it.
Avantages
Initially I was looking for a simple way to standardise and streamline proposals. An online format is what I wanted most, and this one allowed me to make my proposals be on my own domain. This product seemed the best value for money.
Inconvénients
Would like a little more formatting / customising ability. But TBH what's there now works.
