Versatile all in One PMS

The overall experience has been positive. I have been operating three small properties proven to be a great solution.

Avantages

The versatility of Cloudbeds is very attractive. You are able to add useful modules such as revenue management and housekeeping.

Inconvénients

It is a bit expensive when you start to add functionality. Some of the modules such as housekeeping and revenue management could be better.

Great sales peach, but not for a property management company

A total waste of time. The only useful time was to actually review this company and help future clients to avoid Cloudbeds at all costs.

Avantages

It´s very intuitive and has a lot of functionalities.

Inconvénients

Do not, I repeat, do not go for Cloudbeds if you are a property management company. They will try to convince you that they have all of the common day to day utilities of a channel manager/PMS. Unlike any other channel manager, the connection with booking is quite easy and done in a few minutes. For Cloudbeds, I basically needed to create a different booking account for each listing which is outrageous to say the least! I Have worked with 3 different platforms and probably had over 40 video calls with channel managers/PMS in the past and this was by far the worst experience I have had so far. Plus, I have paid for the onboarding and have not been entitled to any partial refund after finding out about hidden information given by the sales team.

Happy with cloudbeds since we started 8 years ago

We started with cloudbeds about 8 years ago and since that the company keep grow and making life easier to property individual owners like me.

Avantages

Easy to use and the connetion provide with defferent booking channel

Incredible software for the world of hotel reservations.

Using the CloudBeds system, it allows to have a better control of the reservations made in the establishment. Having a dashboard view of arrivals as well as your occupancy percentage allows you to make the right decisions when it comes to making modifications with our guests.
The colors used by the program are friendly to the eye, this is highly recommended for a person working an 8 hour shift in the reservations area as they are not difficult to read.
The convenience of having a software like this, is to be able to link it with your Poster software, which makes the guest accounts accurate, allows control and a better summary of stay for our customers,

The best software we have found has worked for the organization of our reservations.

The easy to use PMS

Cloudbeds increased our reservations in less than two 2 months using it - we have experience more bookings than before thanks to the Expertise that our Sales Manager gave us to increase the number of channels and also to use the right revenue strategy. Our entire staff is very thankful that they save a lot of time with our new PMS. All in all very happy we took the decision to change to an All in One Solution.

Great PMS and always improving

I've been through 5 PMS, 4 of them in the last 3 years. My difficulty was to find a software that was adequate for my guesthouse and my vacation apartments. I finally found what I needed in Cloudbeds. It was recommended to me by another hotel and it was my lucky day! This software is very easy to use, complete and they're always making it better with all the suggestions given by us. The customer support is the best I've ever worked with, very professional and fast in helping you. Probably because the software works so well they don't have many complains! The PMS has a channel manager for all the main websites and increasing daily the number of channels. It works perfectly without any problems and no double bookings due to connection delays. We have freed 3/4 hours of daily work with this PMS, which we can apply to other activities.
If you're looking for a excellent PMS with a reasonable price than this is what you want. I highly recommend this system and I intend to keep working with them for a long long time.

Avantages

Easy to use, very complete. Well organized and flexible. They're always looking for ways to improve

Inconvénients

Housekeeping module still needs a bit of working; reports also need improvement and the list of channels available could be higher. However they work all the time to improve so it's just a matter of time

Nice features and pricing, but needs better support.

Some aspects are really nice. Managing the channel reservations has become much easier, and managing reservations from our website has become easier. Cloudbeds is working to improve response time for support requests. If your company is already acquainted with a cloud based reservation and property management system, then Cloudbeds is worth considering. If you are making the change from an older, server based reservation system, find a software partner that provides comprehensive training and provides live support accessible by telephone. It is worth paying the extra money.

Avantages

Our customers like the Booking Engine, and we like the integration with the sites like Booking.com and Expedia. We also like the variety of financial reports.

Inconvénients

We really dislike the arrangement for Technical Support. There is NO option for immediate, live support. We cannot get a live person immediately for any support issue. We always have to submit an email request. We can request an urgent call back and sometimes it happens within a few hours and sometimes it is several hours later. We often have to go back and forth with multiple emails just to have the support rep or "coach" understand what we are talking about. We worried about this arrangement but took a chance.

They did not give what they offer- Misleading staff and ads

Very bad. I wouldnt recommend it to noone. There plenty of better options. Also sometimes connection cuts with booking so it doesnt send the price change.

Nothing is good. We did not like anything.

Inconvénients

We wanted to use this softare to manage our small hostel with 28 beds.

We talked about the features that we will have with the plan that we were buying on the phone before buying.

They told us we will have 3 apps for free and shared inventory funcion is included.

After paying, we are told we need to pay extra for shared inventory and apps we talked that they said free is just integration of the app is free.

So We are informed in the begining wrong. We were thinking of two software to use, cloudbeds or Counter app. Counter app is half the price and comes these features with premium plan all included.

We wanted to cancel the membership, but look what they say, we can cancel but we do not refund.
So you cancel but take the money. Interesting. I never had this kind of issue in nowhere.

We are using just to save our money then we will cancel it for sure.

Great Support

Avantages

As a customer for over 2 years, I have never been disappointed and here are a couple of reasons why.

Customer support is efficient and understanding
There are never any bugs or issues
Easy to access on any device
Easy to use

it's easy to recommend.

It would be great if there was more room to customize rates and offers so as to link them to the website. apart from the Rack rates

Awesome software for hotel management

Overall, I'm happy to stay with you guys but looking forward to new functions and features in the future! Especially for accounting in the software

Avantages

The room rate is linked with OTAs, the calendar view is awesome, easy to follow, and keeps track of all reservations. You guys help me out by cutting down all unnecessary positions in our business

Inconvénients

API is not really clear between Cloudbeds and Booking. For eg, we want to set up different prices for a different numbers of people in a room, 2 people at different rates with 3 people, 4 people and so on. But it is hard to figure it out.

User friendly and great support

I feel that for a small scale hotel or a place that is not looking to modernize fully cloud beds provides enough features to help you get a foothold and have an over view of your Property. It helps a lot the learn the basics and is easy to work with everything that is provided. However this comes with a draw back at a certain moment you want to grow and would need features that is not provided in cloudbeds.

Avantages

I like how easy it Is to quickly understand and be able to work with the system.
The features are straight forward and everything is self explanatory.

Inconvénients

There are limited features available which can hinder your company. At a certain point you want to become more automated than what CLoudbeds can deliver on.

Very user-friendly, cost-effective cloud PMS

This software is great for medium to small-sized hotels, limited service larger properties and vacation rental companies.

Avantages

Super user-friendly (especially as it also has Thai language) and easy to setup. Amazing customer service (especially loving the live chat - with an actual person responding immediately). Integration with Xero.

Inconvénients

Lack of POS and some more detailed reporting.

User-Friendly, Constantly Improving & the Best Bang for our buck!

The ease of use is great. We train a lot of people and they can pick it up easily! I also love the ease of compatibility with OTA's, as well as the robust email marketing function. We have steadily increased our direct bookings and that feature alone is so valuable!

Inconvénients

The lack of a Groups function (this is fairly common in hospitality software) and how it's pretty pricey to add. I also did not like the digital ticket system for customer support, but they recently introduced regional customer service reps which has been so helpful!

Servicio al cliente y asistencia muy mala

Avantages

La simplicidad a usarlo, gérier reservas y el calendario

Inconvénients

Hace mas de 1 ano y medio que el hotel fue comprado por un nuevo dueno y teniamos que cambiar el dueno de la cuenta de Cloudbeds tambien. Hace quasi 3 meses que estamos conversando con Cloudbeds para ese cambio, que ya enviemos todos los documentos necesarios y al fin todavia no tenemos response. La asistencia online se cierra si no responde al agente de suporte despues de 30 segundos maximum, asi que tiene que re explicar todo y hacer de nuevo el processo con el proximo agente de suporte. Muy mal

Easy to Use All in One Property Management Software

We are very happy with the software - it gives us exactly what we need and the results are excellent.
Great Support and very helpful when it comes to problems.

Avantages

Excellent channel management - since we are working with Cloudbeds we never had an overbooking. It's fast and reliable.

Easy to Use Calendar - you can move reservations with one click.

Payment Processing is automatized and connected with Stripe.

We also automatized our Welcome and Goodbye Emails with Cloudbeds - increased our Guest Experience.

Inconvénients

Invoicing could be more customizable - we currently use another software for accounting and invoicing.

A Mobile App would be super helpful to have it on our phone - it's mobile responsive but it's not very user-friendly.

In terms of price and features, it was the best option. We didn't want to "save" money at the beginning and have a surprise afterwards with a commission-based booking engine. Cloudbeds gave us trust and they made it easy to come on board. Important was that we always had the option to cancel - no minimum contract and no implementation fee, so we started with a monthly subscription and now it's almost 2 years from when we started. Happy we did it!

Lot of problems

It's really a shame that a great software is weaken by pushy sales strategy, that make the software less efficient and create a lot of friction using it.

Avantages

Easy to use PMS, nice design. Automated payment processing work great.

Inconvénients

Customer support. What you need to know is that after agreed on a price, they keep trying sell you upgrade on module, propose your trials for module you don't need without telling you the price, then make it very complicted to get a refund.
This high pushing sales method are normally for B2C, but they apply them for B2B that make using the software really unconfortable. Also they block all integration that could potentially compete with they own module, meaning you cannot chose for example your own yield management software, as no integrations with third party software is possible. It means this software is not apropriate when you own several hotel as your need to make all pricing manually. They own pricing software PIE is really not efficient, and not automated.

Happy with Cloudbeds

I'm overall a happy Cloudbeds customer. The software is not perfect, and there are processes I'd prefer to be a bit different and/or more automated, but the core functionality of managing and distributing my room inventory is done very well. For value for your dollar, minimal training needed, and meeting all our core requirements I highly recommend Cloudbeds.

Integrations

Inconvénients

A few missing features in my opinion, such as a mobile app with cc processing for checking/out.
A built in basic POS system would be nice
Some things on the user side could be more clear and less redudant
I'd like to have more granular controls regarding automation
Interface could be more modern
Bulk edits and Changing a reservation date could be easier

Reliable & Affordable PMS

Maintaining the property has never been so easy since we've used CloudBeds. We've expanded from 21 rooms at the beginning to a fully-functional 30 rooms resort.

Avantages

CloudBeds has complete features that helps us grow our business for the last two years. They have provided excellent support from time to time. Our business have expanded ever since.

Lack of Customer Service Support

It's frustrating when I am trying to look for a support. The phone lines are not responding. The chat line does not take any responsibility, nor offer any help. I have to be writing to them, wait for 24hrs, and have them tell us that they couldn't do anything!

Avantages

Its not a complicated system, and rather easy to use.

Inconvénients

The lack of Customer Support is frustrating, especially when Cloudbeds are the only ones who manages the property management, and there is a terrible mistake in the pricing. It's impossible for us to make any amendments. For 2 full days, we have been on the Chat Support and we have been told that they cannot do anything about it. Where do we go from here?

Could be great

It was great at first but when bugs appeared after a major software update they failed us.

Avantages

There are a lot of great features for managing your property like a hotel.

Inconvénients

There are many features that don't exist like automated billing, accepting deposits of different amounts for different groups. This is not easy to tailor towards a small resort with different events, retreats and room nights booked across other channels.

Buena experiencia con el Sistema ya que es muy fácil de configurar y de usar. El especialista que me ayudo con la configuración muy amable, paciente y resolvió todas mis dudas.

Avantages

La configuración del Software fue muy fácil, así como realizar reservas, cobros . . . fue muy rápida las integraciones con otros canales de reservas, tiene variedad de opciones para cobros. . .

Inconvénients

1.- Valdría la pena que el sistema tenga una opción como un check box con las tarifas de promociones que al momento de activar una, tome esa tarifa promocional; con el objetivo de que dicha tarifa se despliegue en la búsqueda de Google (y no la tarifa base)2.- Cuando se active una promoción, serviría muchísimo que lo envie de forma automática al segmento de usuarios que estan buscando alojamientos. 3.- La Appl Mobile estaria genial!

Un poco caro, pero firme y seguro.

A pesar de que me dan descuento, esta caro el servicio. Aun le faltan mas que ofrecer conforme a otros PMS como el display del calendario y tener aplicacion en el celular.

Avantages

La conectividad con otros software para la administracion de mi cafeteria, excelente administrador de canales y PMS.

Inconvénients

La falta de una aplicacion para mi celular. El tener opciones de mostrar el calendario.

Inconvénients

Wish while making an extension to a Mutiple booking reservation you could do all at once and rate would stay at the discounted rateinstead of having to go in each one

Floja atención al cliente, lenta y solo por email. faltan muchas funciones necesarias.

Muy eficientes a la hora de vender el producto. Después prácticamente imposible contactar con ellos. Todo por email , enviando videos para ver, muy decepcionante. Los informes muy flojos, falta mucho para que funcione a nivel completo.

Avantages

Tiene buena imagen, es fácil conectarse en remoto, algunas funciones son sencillas, pero pocas.

Inconvénients

No hay soporte telefónico, solo por email, en la implementación tienen largas demoras para contestar. No tienen informes financieros adaptados a España. Todo se demora mucho en resolver dudas. No se conectan las OTAS con booking con varias propiedades. Hay que tener una cuenta por cada propiedad. Falta soporte y atención al cliente. Faltan muchas funciones básicas e importantes para un hotel.

Product Fine, Customer Service - NON EXISTANT

Connectivity to OTA's. Online bookings. Lots of benefits actually- as many as ANY channel manager... but the problem was service when the product didn't work... then it really hurt us. Noone to call (no phone number listed) only online help- which was not helpful. They always made the problem mine... not ours as they are hired to be the experts. Like I really can solve the problems of their product not connecting!!

Avantages

The software works wonders when it works. It's when there's a connectivity issue or bug in the system this firm fails. Online support does exist and they do offer quick feedback (not necessarily helpful, but it is fast feedback).

Inconvénients

No phone number to call. No personal assistance. Lots of volumnes of help pages, but when your connectivity with an OTA goes faulty- guaranteed to get an email from customer service quickly saying you'll need to contact the OTA provider (who'll tell you to contact your channel manager). These guys sell them selves as the "professionals", but don't want to take care of the real immediate issues (any connection issue is an immediate issue when needing to sell rooms online).

We replied to most of your tickets within 10 to 30 minutes with a resolution. We have some of the best rated support in the industry and 99.9%+ system up-time. Buen producto, pero mucho por mejorar e implementar aún

La parte comercial y de introducción muy bien. La parte técnica de implementación y training muy mal. La parte de asistencia técnica y de seguimiento de las incidencias bien, pero en algunos casos faltan soluciones técnicas para solucionar problemas y necesidades del día a día, por lo que creo que aún deben implementar muchas cosas para que el producto mejore.

Avantages

Su funcionalidad, las posibilidades de configuración y personalización del producto, las herramientas de comparativas con la competencia y la gestión de tarifas

Inconvénients

La implementación: en mi opinión el soporte es mínimo y no centrado en las necesidades específicas del negocio. No tiene sentido que los técnicos que dan soporte tengan un tiempo limitado para cada llamada o reunión, dejando a medias las tareas si el tiempo reservado se agota, sin importar la situación en la que se quede la implementación. No hay un servicio telefónico, por lo que en momentos de urgencia o de cierta prisa no hay una reacción adecuada.

Customer Service is the key!

We had experienced some double bookings when we were trying to manage our channels on our own...we have had NONE since employing the Cloudbeds system.

Avantages

We were referred to Cloudbeds by one of our competitors and we could not thank them enough! We were completely new to channel management and reservation software, so customer service was critical for us. Cloudbeds customer service was always available and patient and worked with us until we actually understood what we needed to do....and then they checked our work to make sure it was correct.

Inconvénients

We are disappointed that there is not an app for use on our cellphones.

Convenient, Comfortable and Accomodating

Avantages

It is an all in one product and as a SME Hotel it helps us a lot. A very Customer Oriented company as they help through support, maximization of the system and understanding the client's situation. Comfortable as it is a user friendly PMS especially the Management reports.

Cloudebeds is a PMS you get with a channel manager and booking engine. All in one software. You could learn how to use it without any one help. It has learning videos for most of the functions. Now it has multi currency functions as well.

la parte de multimonedas no se pudo resolver por vfalta de programacion

Tod super bien excepto por el detalle que nunca me lo pudieron resolver

Todo esta muy bien excepto la parte de multimonedas los clientes común y corrientes se pierden a la hora de hacer las reservas

Inconvénients

La parte para cerrar la reservación la mayoría de mis clientes que querían pagar en pesos era muy complicado pedí que nada mas se enseñaran dólares y pesos mexicanos todo lo resolvieron a excepción de los iPhones nos se pudo y hubo varias personas que no podían hacer su reservación

All in one solution for channel management

Avantages

The most user-friendly software! We are very happy with the Cloudbed system. very easy connectivity to each OTAs, managing reservations from various channels in one panel, updating price, precise and accurate, never double booking.

Great all in one

I wish there was the option to make invoices for outside guests/house account guests

One of the best All in One Solutions for Boutique Hotels

We are very happy with Cloudbeds. Easy to manage our property and train our staff. The whole team was very thankful that we finally changed our software to a better solution.

Easy to use. Our team quickly learned how to use the platform and we love the connectivity with our different channels - no more overbookings since we started working with Cloudbeds.

No accounting integration. We have to manually export our financial data to our local accounting software.

Cloudbeds

It has cut down on time in many ways, everything is so much more automated relative to my last system.

Avantages

It was relatively easy to set up. Time consuming but that was OK.

Inconvénients

I do not like the customer support aspect. I do not like that I write about a question & then have to wait for a reply and then actually deal with a variety of people. I don't feel like they understand what I am saying most of the time. Excelente sistema de gestión hotelera

Puede usar el sistema desde el primer momento

Avantages

Muy intuitivo, muy bien documentado con artículos y videos, además el soporte es súper rápido y eficiente

Inconvénients

Los hoteles que manejo son chicos, tiene todo lo que se requiere pero no dudo que en una propiedad grande sea igual de eficiente

Cloudbeds is the best decision I have made moving from our old PMS company!!!!!

Ease of use, accurate rates and availability, great tech support, great customer service, very cost effective, and overall great all around product.

Avantages

Cloudbeds is so user friendly and the fact that you have every function and administration features available with a simple click of the mouse is the icing on the cake. Every function along with any changes that need to be made are real time and always correct. The staff is amazing and the fact that I was able to build this PMS in less than four weeks was amazing.

The export and import of my reservation history of over 9 years was flawless from my old PMS to Cloudbeds. The accounting features and overall digital capabilities is fantastic. No more servers or software needed to run our systems let alone the need of virtual servers which cost money each month.

Cloudbeds has hit a home run with their My Allocator channel direct system. We have had zero issues with over bookings or discrepancies with rates since we have used Cloudbeds. My staff loves how easy it is to use compared to our old system. Keep up the great work CLOUDBEDS!!!!

Inconvénients

I have yet to find anything that I don't like about Cloudbeds. However, as we continue to use Cloudbeds we will probably find items or issues that may come up. I am confident that Cloudbeds will address said items or issues if the arise.

The best support you could ask for

The software works and if an issue or question arises: their help desk replies almost instantly, knowledgeable and professional.

Avantages

From implementing the software to dealing with occasional issues or questions, the back office from Cloudbeds is absolutely the best you can wish ! I can not emphasize this enough. I read many horror stories on failing support from many hotel management software companies, When I found Cloudbeds online they emphasized their support and since then I have never, ever been disappointed!

Inconvénients

None, Cloudbeds keeps adding new features.

Ideal for the independent hotelier

Accurate bookings, automation of tasks (e-mails, booking confirmations, amendments, no more typing reservations into the PMS from external sources...). Staff productivity is high, loss of transactions/cash is low (easy to investigate where mistakes happened in case numbers are not matching). New employees are ready to work in a matter of minutes, while an "admin" user might take only as much as 7 days to get (self) trained into advanced features.

Avantages

Cloudbeds is one of the easiest software out there. Forget about the hours of training, complicated setup... it's intuitive, and mostly automatic. It helped us reduce considerably the amount of hours needed to handle reservations and no more overbookings. It comes at a great value, extremely competitive to any other option and can replace multiple other systems: channel manager, revenue manager, e-mailing automation... it does it all! The customer support is excellent and very quick to respond - always with a "can do" attitude.

Inconvénients

This software was built for small/medium independent hotels. It fulfils its purpose beautifully. However, if you deal with a large volume of groups for example, it will be a bit inconvenient. Here's the good news: there are hundreds of new functions being developed and the software gets big updates almost every month. Group functions are coming by the end of 2018, and this software just keeps getting better.

One of the best Channel Manager and PMS

Avantages

Usability and user interface. The overall experience of handling this software is very user friendly.

Inconvénients

The price is little high from its competitor but still the overall quality compensates that.

The Hotel Redland

Avantages

The thing I like most about the software is the ease of use when syncing other online booking programs.

Inconvénients

There are almost too many features for our small boutique hotel. I sometimes get lost in transitioning from one screen to another, but I think that will get easier, especially with the help of my awesome support person, [SENSITIVE CONTENT].

Cloudbeds Review

Overall I am very pleased with my experience. The support team is very helpful and the system works for what I need.

Avantages

Overall appearance and layout for a quick glance of bookings and the layers to find more detailed information.
The option to add additional services and costs to the room.
The Dashboard to view bookings due to come in on the day.
Email response to bookings by Cloudbeds

Inconvénients

When amending bookings I dislike the automatic response to un assign room.
That you can't view set or larger periods of time on one screen in the calendar.
Rates and Availability / Base Rates - very long process to update system for each room category and changes in prices through high and low seasons.
Due to working in Indonesia and the time difference new booking don't appear in the Dashboard. If a booking was made after the reception closes but before midnight the reservation won't appear and we need to search for it to assign room and action booking.
Some processes such as split rooms or pricing per night can be slow and clunky.

So easy!

Our experience has been fantastic! I've worked with many PMS and this by far has been the easiest to use. One aspect of the experience that far outweighs any other is the quality of your Customer Support. First Class!

Avantages

The entire user interface is simple to use. I work from the calendar generally and have found that navigating in and around the calendar is very simple. And integration was a breeze!

Inconvénients

One feature that i would like to see is the ability to apply percentage discounts directly to the rate structure.

Great experience with cloudbeds

Easy to maintain the property.

Avantages

All the features provided by cloudbeds are useful and it is very easy to access it then other channel managers

Inconvénients

When it comes to billing the cloudbeds invoice its very difficult to pay the subscription payment sometimes because there were only few credit cards allowed, please improve that.
