I like how user friendly this program is on both ends. Employers are able to quickly reach out. And applicants are able to provide any and all information about themselves on the front end so nobody is wasting anybody's time.

So far so good. I haven't had any negative issues with this product. I've used the mobile and desktop versions and both work like a charm. I guess if I had one complaint it would be that I can't upload 2 different resumes. Or at least I haven't figured out how to yet.

I love how simple zip recruiter makes it for job seekers and hiring managers. It's easy to use and search.

ZIP RECRUITER IS EXCEPTIONAL IN ALL ASPECTS. IT IS SUPER USER FRIENDLY AND VERY VERY EASY TO NAVIGATE. i WOULD SAY IT LEADS THE PACK IN THIS KIND OF SOFTWARE.

I REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY NEGATIVE REMARKS. THE APP PERFORMS WELL AND i AM THOROUGHLY SATISFIED.

I like the layout of the app and how to see possible jobs that I am searching for and get notifications for. It is also great to do the in-app easy apply.

Sometimes some of the suggestions are far off from what I'm looking for. Maybe should include some more filters to apply.

ZipRecruiter save my time of filing the same information about myself on every application. I also allows me to simply click a button to apply. The job finder algorithm is also very accurate.

Job posting content is not cleaned enough. Sometimes job posting are a scam or doesn't open the position anymore

The interface has everything you'd need and more. The price is based on time instead of per click so it's easier to budget. The syndication to popular email blasts gets great exposure.

The last job I posted got fewer applicants than Indeed captured in the same time period - with premium selected.

This software is amazing and a lot cheaper than the leading competitor. Customer service is better and my APS automatically uploads everything to zip recruiter!

I have not experienced any cons with this software yet. My customer support specialist can be a little overbearing at times.

ZipRecruiter has made my day to day recruiting easy than before because we can do the job posting on multiple sites by posting a job on ZiipRecruiter. We can predefine the minimum qualification questionnaire through this it makes our job in qualifying the candidates as they need to respond to the questionnaire while applying for the job. Another important aspect is of ZipRecruiter, it shows in how much miles candidate is located from the location by tracking the IP. We can add notes for each applicant for our future needs and reports we can generate is also very easy. ZipRecruiter saves time and Money.

My biggest issue with ZipRecruiter is the reliability of the candidates applying for the job without going through the job description.

I liked that candidates where viewing our information and coming to us. More recently we had a representative reach out to help narrow the search and make the position listing reach the right audience. Update the listing to make it more appealing, and help plug in the right key words to have the right type of people apply. Without the help of someone who knows how to use ZipRecruiter, it could be hard to get a good ROI.

Inconvénients

Unfortunately, most of the candidates the alogrithm qualifies as a "great" match are not, so we tend to igorne that rating all together. I also don't like that we thought we were using it the correct way but not until a specialist reached out did we realize we totally weren't using it the correct way. I was hoping this was more of a self sustaining service, but it definitely takes some work on the user end to get and continue to get good candidates.

It's extremely easy and simple to apply keywords to search for resumes and potential employees. It also sends me updates using the keywords from relevant people on the site. So not only can I personally search for potential employees if recruiter also does it for me.

Sometimes I feel like the potential employees that the app brings to me often or sometimes aren't exactly what I'm looking for. Or it'll be in another state.

ZipRecruiter is such a user friendly recruiting software for my HR department and the applicants applying for jobs. I will continue to use now and in the future.

The software has not be as efficient as it has been in the future. For instance I had two top candidates that were offered the job but did not accept because the salary was incorrect from what we were offering.

I like ZipRecruiter because they show you all of the available jobs for the field you are searching in. It makes it easy to see the different opportunities.

I don't like that you have to log in and make an account with ZipRecruiter rather than just click "apply" and go to the company site. It is annoying to make an account and then apply and make another account on the job site.

It helps people get jobs and you can search throughout to find the right match for you or colleague.

I believe there are better options than Ziprecruiter. My personal favorite is Linkedin because it's Social Media and talent search in 1.

ZipRecruiter’s Virtual assistant has been providing candidates who are meeting our qualifications and saving us time. Tracking the candidates and interview process is so simple.

The ZipRecruiter software is a little more pricey since we are a small business based on tuition but worth it if we can find a great candidate in a short period of time.

Although worthwhile, ZipRecuiter is fairly expensive and not something I have an ongoing subscription to. Additionally, I have also had some issues toggling between my employer and personal accounts.

The "one-tap apply" feature, notifications when your application is viewed, as well as the read/unread blue dot that lets you know you've previously viewed a job and the "delete" options (LinkedIn doesn't have either of these - very annoying!)

The job recommendations aren't always super relevant to my experience or previous jobs I've applied to.

I love the ease and overall the navigation of this software and how I can easily use all the tools to help implement finding good, talented individuals to come work for our company. So far we have had a good batch of employees come through, versus before when we used other candidate search engines, we kept getting some questionable individuals. Overall this is definitely worth the bang for your buck.

Overall I did not find any cons, the only con I can think of is the price point. But I would highly encourage you to look past the price and consider the options and talent it would bring to your company.

The ability to apply to so many jobs all at once is nifty, provided you have the resume to back it up

The con stems from the pro. Because it is so easy to apply to so many places that makes it more competitive so you will likely find yourself not getting jobs because while you may be great out of the hundreds of other people there was just someone or a few someones who the company liked better.

I liked the simplicity of Ziprecruiter. I could post multiple jobs in multiple locations and have a simple dashboard to take care of them. The customer support was awesome and I could reach them at any and all times for issues. Another thing I liked about Ziprecruiter was that I could authorize anyone in our multi-located company campuses to direct the responses to. I didn't need to take charge of everything, delegation is easy..

Inconvénients

Aah thinking of this even now makes me cringe. I had at least 10 postings at any given time on Ziprecruiter. I would be refreshing the ads every week or so to float them to the top. My biggest peeve during this part was that there was NO WAY to do this in bulk (multiple postings refreshed at the same time). I had to open every posting, disable it and post it all over again which alone is quite OK but to do this separately for all 10 ads one after the other was a little annoying.

We can post jobs quickly nation-wide and we do get a good response rate of applicants. It is an effective tool in securing candidates.

The resume search feature is horrible!!!

The layout was beautifully done and very user friendly! It was easy to navigate between resumes and the different job postings that I have posted. There are a slew of options to create projects or separate lists so you can save candidates where needed. It also provides you statistics of your job posting/applications. The sales contact I had was super helpful and not pushy at all!

I honestly didn't find ANYTHING I didn't like! Even the customer service from the salesman was great.

I would receive candidates from everywhere. It felt like a bit sending out resumes because many of them didn’t posses the skills and talents I was looking for. Also, many didn’t live in my area. Pouring through resumes was time consuming because many didn’t even closely qualify.

This is a good looking site with quite an intuitive user interface. I have been looking for an internship for a couple of months now and I have an account on a bunch other sites as well. But, I always feel comfortable using this site. I have not used this feature but they have this messaging option with the hiring managers, seemed quite helpful. You can upload your resume, save jobs that you like etc. You can configure email alerts so you know what's opportunities are out there.

Inconvénients

One thing that I did not like about this software is that I wanted job offers for Unity Developers but most of the time they send me offers for generic software developers as well. If I wanted those, I would opt in for that.

The user interface enables quick scrolling of hundreds of jobs that fit your skills and experience. Applying for jobs is very easy. You can use your profile resume or upload a new resume. You simply paste cover letters into a field in the job submission form. The 1-click apply feature is also great for quickly submitting jobs.

When you submit job applications using the 1-click apply feature a cover letter is not submitted. You have to remember to go back to the 1-click submitted jobs and enter a cover letter. Many employers want cover letters with job submissions.

It’s ease of use. Definitely felt welcoming to just wander around on the site, when first getting used to it.

The idea of a 1 click apply is great and I appreciate that feature. But see my "con" below. Easy to use though for the most part, but I am still really evaluating overall.

My biggest complaint is when I was using the product to apply for a job, the addition of a cover letter is next to impossible to find (should be a simply step). My frustrations grew so much that I would simply search out employer and apply directly to them where applicable. Also it would only include my last resume (and as well all know we make tweaks regularly). There is a lack of flow in my estimation.

There were lots of suggestions and handholding through the job search process. I got many emails letting me know of various pre-screened opportunities in my area. I got several leads that produced regular clients.

They sent leads that were way too far away for me to even consider and they kept sending the same leads over and over again even though I had already either applied or rejected the job.

ZipRecruiter is great at keeping track of job openings in specified areas. It allows you to store your resume and cover letter so that you can apply for many jobs very quickly. The system will notify you of openings and encourage you to apply. It makes applying for many jobs quick and easy.

The system can get bogged down into a narrow range of jobs or a specific location. It is difficult to perform a national job search. The emails and notifications are written to sound like they come from a person but actually come from an automatic system. I made the mistake of answering one to ask for help. I only got another automatic responder to tell me that there is no one to answer.
