What I really love about the software is that it makes it easier to find a job and when you apply for a job you are contacted almost immediately which is a good thing because if lost your previous job you be able to get into work in no time and within hours or minutes sometimes you already get a phone call for a job interview

Inconvénients

The only thing I dislike about the software is that they allowed too many Bots or scammers into the system and it can affect the consumer in many ways financially.

Almost everything including the range of prospects, the ease of using the platform, the range of tools.

My only complaint is the openness of the platform. They, admittedly have an almost impossible assignment to screen on the applicant side, but they apparently don't even try to screen on the employer side. I understand.

As a job seeker looking for a strong recommendation that really matches your interests. The majority of suggestions offered by ZipRecruiter are not relevant. For example I have 6 years of experience but I was receiving alerts of entry level jobs, and sometimes different job types from my interest.

This service is easy to use and has a wide variety of positions. I wish the search function was a little more detailed, sometimes it is hard to find the information you are specifically looking for. I have used the free function and while I have even found a position using the service, the description of the position left many key elements out.

The information in the titles needs to be more specific. I would like to be able to separate different. I inquired about several positions using this service, however, I found out that key elements were missing in the description. While I understand that everything can't be listed on the site, it would be great to help those posting positions to be more specific.

Easy to use and get the hang of - interface is very user friendly. Allows you to ask a decent amount of information about candidates to make sure you're properly vetting for the right fit. Also let's you block your contact info, which every recruiter knows is extremely valuable!

ZipRecuriter makes applying for jobs fast and easy. I like that you have the options to view the jobs you want to view , and also the fact that you can save job postings and apply at a more convenient time. ZipRecruiter will also send you email notifications for the job postings you've applied to/saved, which i really appreciate.

I would like an option to limit the amount of job recommendation emails the software sends you. I was getting more than i could apply for on a daily basis, and eventually unsubscribed to email notifications. An option to select the amount of job recommendations you get via email would be perfect.

I know people that have stopped using Ziprecruiter because they harass the jobseekers with telephone calls to offer continue your education instead of making the connection between job and future employee. I have heard nothing but complaints. It makes them afraid to go to the online site because every time you fill out an application to apply for a position, ZipRecruiter marketers call to offer school. As a business owner, it's great. As the end user, it leaves a bad impression. I have tried it myself and received the deluge of phone calls that only stopped because I told them to put me on the no calls list. They called me 3 times a day for a week straight before I said enough. They start with a job posting and lead into the school question.

I like that the resumes and contact information are easily accessible. The search function is intuitive and provides specific results.

Inconvénients

Navigating from the resumes back to your list of candidates seems like it could be improved. I would like to see a button to bring you directly back to where you left off in the list.

ZipRecruiter does a fantastic job filtering out resumes and profiles that are not suitable based on the criteria you set.

There are a LOT of scam-artists on ZipRecruiter. As a job-seeker, I would unknowingly apply for many scammy sales jobs disguised as "entry level" marketing, social media management, etc.. I even wasted my time with in-person interviews with 3 of such jobs. One I was even able to verify was using a fake company name to reel in new salespeople.
I reported these companies, but I still see their ads months and even years later, along with many other obviously scammy ads (I can pick them out now quite easily - so you'd think they could, too...)

Using ZipRecruiter and a job seeker is annoying because all of the sudden you are signed up for hundreds of job boards and you get contacted constantly for positions that doesn't even pertain to you. From the Admin side it is find, from the job seeker's side, it is a mess.

ZipRecruiter is great for both the employer and employee. From helping to find the right match to making it very user-friendly, it is great. Another key factor was allowing it to access your social networks so that you can expand your network to get more candidates.

I love Zip Recruiter. I've only been using it for about a week and already find it so much easier than other hiring platforms. There is a '1-Click-Apply' feature when using the app and website which makes applying to multiple places a breeze. I also feel as though there are more employers using this platform than others so you don't have to go looking so many places.

I truly don't have many complaints. I think if anything it gets a bit annoying receiving emails with every view but that can also be a great thing at times.

Too many options for urgent labeling, boosting, etc. They make claims that it gets you better quality candidates, but it's all just a crapshoot. Some candidates come in as a "great match" according to Zip, but most of the time the experience is not even close to a match.

The thing that I love most about ZipRecruiter is the ease of use! Posting a job is simple, as they take you step by step to complete the posting! I also love that sourcing candidates is super simple and effective! I can narrow down my search to exactly what I am looking for and find qualified candidates fast!

The only thing that I don't like is that I have to use a view if I want to look at someone's contact information. I have found myself running low towards the end of the month. I wish you would get your credit back if you got in contact with a candidate or something!

It was a complete waste of money and did not yield results.
Zip recruiter knew that my ad would not yield results. Once I committed $500, then they told me that I needed to spend another $2000 to actually get results. If I knew that from the beginning, I may have spent the money. But I was not willing to spend the $500 for nothing and then another $2000 to get what I paid for.

Zip Recruiter is one of those job search engines that combine many features from a variety of other pre-existing websites in a clever way, it combines the most solid and user-friendly interface I have seen with a good customer service . I have used ZipRecruiter to advertise job listings for my Law Firm in order to increase incoming candidates in effort to help fill critical positions, it gets the job done in an enjoyable way thanks to its great exposure and how easy it is to go through all the applicants data.

Inconvénients

Zip Recruiter can be pricey, and some of the features have a few bugs, specially when browsing through CV data you get a few misrepresented information within its format.

I liked how it's a pretty easy and automated software where you can apply to jobs without having to fill out an application on company sites. I also liked how you're assigned a specific recruiter to aid in your job search and they email you for job openings that match your criteria.

I didn't like how the response rate for the job applications was very low. It's almost like my application didn't go through the system when I was job hunting before.

Some of the things that I like about ZipRecruiter are that as a job seeker, it is very easy to create a profile and the system ensures that it matches your profile against matching jobs. I think it has some of the better job matching mechanisms in place to be able to search for matching jobs that relate better to your skillset and experience. I also like the feature of one click apply in which you can apply for a position without filling in additional details as long as you have the requisite details in the your past job history and profile. The notification and alert tools available when a job is posted that match your profile is also good.

Inconvénients

The experience of using of the website seems to be heavy and the general navigation of the system is not an intuitive as I would have liked. Also, it would be great if there was a follow up mechanism available when you apply for a job as there is latency in the current status of the openings and what is displayed on the website. If a resume needs to be updated on the website, the process is slow and not very responsive.

The brand recognition is hard to top. ZipRecruiter advertises a lot, so the workforce is aware of it and using it. I use a few boards simultaneously and Zip definitely gets the most activity. The design is also easy to use and friendly to look at.

If you're a smaller operation with infrequent/limited hiring needs then Zip is expensive. The relevance of some applicants is also way off sometimes, so certain ads will have 100+ applicants and 1/2 of them will have nothing I'm looking for. My most recent example is in recruiting licensed salespeople but receiving a ton of resumes from people on the admin side of the business we're in. Those applicants are totally irrelevant to my ads because they have not sold before and cannot sell while unlicensed. It just gives me more work to do sifting through irrelevant applications.

In 2016 I was looking for a job, then a friend introduced this website to me (ZipRecruiter), I was a bit skeptical about getting job online, I created an account what I saw really amazed me, I saw immerse professionalism on the website, the design was great, very easy to browse job opportunities making the whole experience smooth.

Another function I like on ZipRecruiter, you can chat with job recruiters right from your account, which many job creation website do not have this option.

On that very day I signed up on ZipRecruiter, I discovered there were expired job postings that were still displayed on my dashboard, I would like if only active jobs are presented to candidates to avoid wasting candidates time.

ZipRecruiter has several GREAT things about it, but I MOST appreciated the fact that ZipRecruiter has established itself VERY well, making it a highly trusted and therefore, highly used, Platform for Candidates. It allows Filtering like many other Platforms, but also has connected itself well with the other similar platforms in order to expand the reach of those who are Hiring and those who are Job Hunting.

I definitely have a few things that are deterrents when it comes to Platforms like ZipRecruiter. However, the TOP thing that I have liked LEAST is actually oddly related to what I liked MOST about it. The problem is the Quality of the Candidates and that is LARGELY due to how Candidates are likely to use (without knowledge of this on the other end) the "Automatic Apply" feature. I think that it is GREAT for ZipRecruiter to have Individuals Upload Resumes, but I love that they also offer to assist those who may or may not have a resume, but want to have a SPECIFIC resume for ZipRecruiter. So ZipRecruiter has a step-by-step, section-based "Build Your Resume" Resource. In addition, linking to other Social Media with Resume Information like LinkedIn or Facebook, or Most Social Media Sites, can bring in a wealth of information that may not be updated, relevant, and/or properly formatted. It makes the process aggravating for Hiring because the "Automatic Apply" does not JUST send the random Resume(s) and such to the job that an Individual is actively applying for, but sends that Candidates information to those Hiring due to something like ONE of the Qualifications being matched between the Job Post and Candidates Information.

While Zip Recruiter is great for viewing and applying for many jobs at the same time, it is not great for those who are educated, professionals, and basically anyone white collar. Most of the jobs on the site are low level, manual, factory worker, insurance agent, etc. Basically it is not the best place to look for a job if you are a college graduate. A lot of pyramid schemes, MLMs etc have hijacked this platform to trick people into thinking they have been selected for an interview and so forth.

I like how I can easily jump and check all available jobs out there via ZipRecruiter and that it actually saves all of my Search criteria and favorite ( possible jobs ), and then send all of this data to my personal email, so I can review it when necessary. Also, I like option of email updates, whenever new job with my job criteria is posted on ZipRecruiter. My fiancé also used this platform and she even got a super job opportunity in the matter of days, for a bilingual position for one US based company.

For some reason, I keep getting emails about the jobs which do actually correspond to my overall job description criteria, but they are way off my searching area ( distant cities for example ) and they do not have remote job opportunities as well.

ZipRecruiter is a super popular service, so it's generally a very productive early step in the job search process. Most new postings seem to make their way to the site, and it's helpful to be able to browse a large volume quickly when looking for good fits. I also find that, when I set up a profile on ZipRecruiter, I begin getting fairly high volumes of cold calls about open positions in my local area. While this isn't particularly useful to me personally (they're rarely in my field), I can see it being helpful to someone looking to find employment ASAP.

I work in a field that's hard to search for ("editor" is a job title used in many areas), and ZipRecruiter doesn't filter for job relevance as effectively as some of their competitors. This is a mild inconvenience when browsing, but more of an inconvenience when setting up email alerts: I always find myself getting many more emails than I would expect, all advertising jobs that I would allegedly be a fit for that are in reality well outside my field.
If you work in sales, you'll find many, many opportunities on ZipRecruiter! But recommendations outside of sales are limited.
