Zip Recruiter makes it easy to find jobs matching your title. It also allows for the candidate to see when their application has been viewed.

Inconvénients

There are not many cons that I have come across in Zip Recruiter.

Can be somewhat expensive, but there is a trial period to try the service out before paying.

The fact that I can submit quality job openings and get good canidates

I don't really have any cons. If I had to put a con it would just be the fee to list the job opening. But it beats craigslist and all the spam you get from listing anything.

The interface is very nice looking and gives you all of the tools you need without any issues. We were able to weed out the bad candidates from the jump. A few of our hires are still around here working so that should stand for something.

The only problem I had was the continuous calls from their sales reps urging me to upgrade my plan to the next level. At the time we didn't need it and cancelled shortly after as t he calls continued even after we requested they didn't call us.

The payment process for services was sometimes unclear, but once I was able to speak with customer service things were eventually sorted out.

It was easy to use, easy to post and easy to screen. In theory that is...I will say it also got in front off a lot of users VERY quickly. Almost too quickly for us to handle.

I did not like the lack of qualification from most of these prospects. Regardless of the hopes we had them jump through, the vast majority of people that applied were under qualified. Therefore the cost efficiency was just not there for this tool.

It's easy to post your job and gather candidates. I also like the Great Match feature

It's costly compared to others and once you cancel your account you cannot go back and retrieve old applicants.

I do like that you are better able to find candidates that are more likely to meet the criteria you outline vs. the traditional online job site.

You still need to do your due diligence to make sure those candidates are what they say they are.

There are plenty of jobs to apply for in your career and the response is really good. Some employers seem like they wasn't interested really because they already filled the position

After spending 30 plus minutes on creating a job I wasn't able to log-in with my password, I kept trying over and over and I never received help when I emailed the company. Nothing in my Inbox or Spam Folder.

Throughout the job searching portion, there is a multitude of filters that can be applied. Allowing for a very specific search based on various criteria one may have.

Although there are convenient filters, there does not seem to be a way to separate jobs by experience (entry level, senior level, ect.). This would be very important and reduce the time wasted by searching through jobs that do not meet the individuals requirements.
