It was easy to set up, upload my resume, and I also liked that I got notifications when my applications were sent and viewed by hiring managers.

The one thing I was not very happy with was how the job alerts work. I've had a hard time changing them and I constantly get alerts for jobs that are not related to my field and/or expertise. It seems the algorithm used picks random words from my job searches and notifies me when various jobs not related to me are posted. Example: I have been looking for jobs in digital asset management, digital asset coordinator. I have been getting notifications about "events coordinators", "event producer", "radiologist", "physician" etc. I hardly ever receive notifications of jobs I am interested in. By now, I have lost count of how many emails I have gotten and maybe I have been able to apply to three jobs from those lists total.

What I like about ZipRecruiter is I've been utilizing it for years and have grown quite accustomed to their platform.No need to change something that's good

I like the organization and ease of Zip Recruiter. This software allows job applicants to search for available positions specifying their employment needs. I use this to follow specific employers and apply for positions as well as my company uses it to post employment opportunities.

I prefer Indeed as my primary employment software as they allow you to build your resume with ease. They typically give you pointers and optimal resources to build the perfect resume to score your position at any employer along with up to date job postings , positions, wages, hours available.

I love this website, because it has helped me find new jobs. I get updated daily on new job openings which is helpful because sometimes I don’t have time to search in my on. So, having a website that sends me a list jobs that I qualify for saves me time. I also love that job links are always provided, that way when I click on it, I am automatically transferred to the job website.

Nothing bad to say about zip recruited, I have always had good outcomes using this website.

It's easy to use and set up. You can configure your profile and jobs with any customizations. There is an algorithm that will show appropriate jobs to those that fit the right background.

Zip Recruiter sends a lot of emails and the only complaint I have is that it drips emails a lot. It will also send emails with other job possibilities or the competition.

ZipRecuriter organizes the applicants' information so that I can quickly record vital details and screen out those who don't meet the criteria. I appreciate that it contains a résumé in addition to other features, and that it has a decent match section if the employment algorithm identifies trends.

The application/website is not particularly user-friendly, as you must spend a significant amount of time exploring and moving through it.

What I like most about this software is how easy it is to use. The set up to advertise help wanted positions has been so easy. I've been used to other software companies in the past and was not sure how easy the set up would be, but found it a relief in setting up our ad.

The only con I have about this software is the initial start in setting up our ad and how it felt and looked overwhelming from the first look, although it wasn't difficult at all, it just appeared to be that way. Right away on the home page, it felt targeted to consumers looking for a job instead of employers posting an ad.

I think ZipRecruiter is a great tool to find leads. I particularly like how you can include questions that will immediately cull a lot of applications that aren't right for your organization.

You get a LOT of applications and not everyone is qualified. That is not necessarily Zip Recruiters fault though, but it does take time to go through them.

ZipRecruiter has a decent size database of resumes, and actively distributes job postings based on the information in the job posting which allowed for some automated sourcing without a recruiter.

Overall, for skilled healthcare positions like registered nurses, it was difficult to get both organic and paid applications. Their database of resumes and access to nurses is limited when compared to other job boards. Most of my success is with non-skilled positions.

The job applications produced by Zip are pretty good. It allows you to add screener questions which enables us to track which candidates are qualified almost immediately

The search features and resume database are pretty terrible. As a federal contractor, most of out positions require US citizenship and a security clearance. These are very hard to search for and there are no filters that allow for this type of search.

- Take's a while, but pretty much user friendly
- Has unique features that let you know the extras of you hiring process. Such as you can give the company you wish you could work for a thumbs up to let them know you are really interested. -
-Gives you insight on when reviewer looked at your job application or when you are in the top 10%.

- There is no personal way to actually reach the company if they don't get back to you.

I am frequently looking at ATR (Attraction and Talent Recruitment ) software and ZipRecruiter is always on that comes in my recommendations to contacts/clients. It's a very scalable application i.e. works well when recruiting less than 10 candidates or 100+ - it works just fine in both instances. I like the Quick "Candidate Application" features and the improvements made in filtering the job/position by key words. Anyway, great product

Like most ATR/CRM pricing if slightly above par (as oppose to the competition, in my opinion) but I guess you pay a premium for the features and scalability (i.e. candidate database is commensurate)

What I most enjoyed about this software is that I was informed when an employer looked at my application and how many times and was given a percentage of how many resumes are usually viewed at twice or three times when it happened.

This App and Engine shows job listings in areas you select so you can see what the market for jobs looks like in an area you think you might want to be. Also lets you see Jobs by category locally or nationally. I mostly use to try to find opportunities close to me that I can comfortably commute to and that pay what I think I need to be paid.

some job matches are further than I would like to commute. but it is nice to see the options.

ZipRecruiter is one of those cases were you really love the application. For being a Web Application, I can say that the interface looks similar to a graphic design website, beautifully done, minimalistic in a pragmatic sense and incredibly easy to use. It fullfills all the basics of finding a job, and all I can hope is too see it grow. As someone who worked at a job search engine company (Stating which one would be unprofessional), I can say that ZipRecruiter is better done than many, and I hope to see it grow to become a standard option in the job hunt field.

The only downside I can really say about ZipRecruiter is that it does not get the recognition it deserves, the market is currently taken over different job search engines that are not as good if you compare it to how well designed ZipRecruiter is. As I stated before, I hope to see it grow.

Even with all the innovation, I am still receiving quite a few poor candidates. This could be due to the nature of the labor market, but I was hoping ZipRecruiter would weed out poor candidates a bit more.

What I like most is that I can search and sift through 100's of resumes. I also like that I can email directly from ZipRecruiter and it uses my business email information.

I do not like that resumes will not reach me for candidate's IP address that is out of range. I believe they should come through based on address entered and not IP address.

I like the established employer base that is set up already. Many companies will post their jobs here first and there are a ton of jobs to look through.

ZipRecruiter is easy to setup-make an account, easy to search jobs by job type/miles and radius, and also pretty easy to apply to jobs. I like the quick apply button, its nice that you can download the ZipRecruiter application to your phone (view jobs anywhere), and I also like that they have notified us that certain jobs are actively hiring during the pandemic.

Inconvénients

There is so much wasted space on the right hand side of the screen when scrolling through various jobs. It would be more efficient to have 2 jobs displayed side by side, then having to scroll and scroll. When looking for a job, I want to save time/be more efficient. Sometimes the emails they send me in regards to jobs to apply are not even remotely related to my field.

As an applicant I love how easy it is to navigate the website and find interesting jobs/ have the emails from "[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]" recommending positions.

However, the quality of the companies posting on Ziprecruiter leave a lot to be desired. Many positions are for shell companies. After a quick google search of the company name or recruiter who contacts you it becomes clear that they are fishy. I would say 80% of the job postings have been misleading and or deemed "scams" based on Glassdoor reviews.

After trying Monster and Career Builder and not having any luck, I decided to try ZipRrecruiter online. Applying is easy, submit your resume and wait for a response. It is quicker than using other sites, less questions.
It has a variety of available employment categories. When searching, enter location or job titles etc. then view the available searches.

The available job locations seemed to be from other states then locally. There were slim choices near me. You receive daily notifications for jobs they feel are a match or fit your work criteria but some don't fit your qualifications.
