Avantages
Quick to pick up with little training, easy to schedule interviews for candidates and send out template emails with minimal adjustments.
Inconvénients
Lacked search capability within the database, the system went down often wether it be internal database or the jobs page.

AVOID JOBVITE-SAVE YOUR MONEY
Poor - customer service was terrible, the integrations do not work, the job posts to LinkedIn don't work.
Avantages
Nothing - we had nothing but issues with the software from go, our implementation never actually got fully off the ground (Jobvite internal team kept delaying).
Inconvénients
Integrations are often over promised and under delivered. They will tell you it can integrate with all of these applications.... but it does not, or they want to charge you another $50k to have the integration work... when they told you it would work at the onset.

Working with Jobvite
Overall, I don't mind using Jobvite and I am always able to successfully send out job opportunities.
Avantages
I appreciate that it is easy to see the available job posting within our company. It is pretty easy to send the opportunities out via email to candidates.
Inconvénients
I find the user interface to be a little clunky and not always intuitive. I am not in the system that often. I find that it usually takes me a few tries to find what I am looking for in the system.

It was fine
Avantages
It did the job. It was not as robust as other ATSs I have used in the past but it did the job fine. There was not a lot of additional functionality (reporting, posting on multiple sites, DE&I, etc.) but it was good at collecting applicants and feedback.
Inconvénients
It was very basic. We were previously using a much more modern system with better reporting and a better UI/UX. I didn't feel like there was a huge value add, other than the basic functions of an ATS.

Jobvite does the things a Talent Attraction Pro needs...without a lot of fuss
I have used all major Applicant Tracking and Applicant RM systems. Jobvite is the cleanest of what might be termed the "minimalist" systems. It gets the job done without a lot of fuss. Very user-centric and intuitive, ramp-time is fairly short. Some of the bells (Campaigns, email "slams" etc.) have a steep learning curve; this is problematic for me since I am working specialist positions rather than commodity positions.
Avantages
There are three elements with Jobvite that are just the best:
1. Each landing page is clean and consistent. Any TA Pro knows that every implementation of a system like Jobvite is modified to meet the needs of the client. I've used Jobvite at two companies and while there were the expected differences, the overall look, feel and function was essential the same, module to module.
2. Jobvite has done a great job of integrating the Engage side with the rest of the functionality. One of my personal metrics for ATSs is "can I get from Point A to Point B in four or fewer mouse clicks." Jobvite has done themselves proud in meeting a metric they likely didn't know existed.
3. Jobvite has sufficient points for adding significant information about a candidate as the candidate moves through the selection process. This is important for many reasons and most TA Pros know what they are.
Inconvénients
There is one issue that drives me up a wall with Jobvite and it is pervasive throughout the application.
Data and information that should be passed to 1. other common applications or 2. stay with the applicant as the applicant is moved within Jobvite to other requisitions (and this is a hyper-common occurrence) JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN.
Two examples:
1. Jobvite makes it very easy to send a quick note to a potential candidate from within a requisition. Problem--that note doesn't get passed to the primary email client AND if the candidate tries to reply, the reply does not go directly to the primary email client. Drives me up a wall.
2. In my organization, we have very close control over visa sponsorship. If I reject a candidate for requiring visa sponsorship and note that fact in the NOTE function, that is not married to the candidate's record. Having this functionality would save Talent Attraction team time.

Good overall, but could use a few tweaks
Avantages
Jobvite is one of the more competitively priced recruiting systems out there. There are premium products out there that I loved, however they would have cost almost twice as much as Jobvite, which I couldn't justify for probably 10% better functionality. It's super easy to use from both a recruiter standpoint as well as an admin standpoint. The key feature of sending Jobvites makes it super easy for employees to send out (and for us to track) referrals. As an admin, I LOVE the ability to chat with a tech support person from the tool vs. calling and being on hold for hours, only to be read to from a script vs. speaking with someone who can problem solve.
Inconvénients
Jobvite emails come from the Jobvite email address and do not allow you to embed a signature. Because of this, we do not use Jobvite for candidate communications (other than the standard "thanks for applying" email that all applicants receive. There's also no way to BCC Jobvite to track these external emails in the system. We are a smaller company (350) and our recruiters are more senior, however this could be a deal breaker for a company that uses coordinators that require more oversight.
While you can customize most of the templates, there are some that are embedded in the system that you can't change that contain awkward and stilted wording. One of them contained a grammatical error and felt it reflected on us so poorly (we're a content marketing agency) we had to disable the feature entirely.
There's also a limit to the number of the columns that can appear in the search field, so we aren't able to view all of our custom fields verifying an applicant's suitability up front, which makes the process more time consuming for recruiters as they have to view more applications one at a time.
Also, they occasionally have updates which take the product backward instead of forward, such as removing the job alerts email feature.
I know it sounds like there are more cons than pros, but the ease of use and customer support is 100% more important than all of the cons.

A Recruiting team's best friend
Overall, a positive experience. We would recommend highly.
Avantages
Since we implemented Jobvite, it has been a valuable asset to the Lewis organization, not just the Recruiting team, but to hiring managers and employees. From it's easy-apply features for candidates to its reporting functions to show ROI and /source hiring data, my team and I have been very pleased. The feedback we received from managers and staff have been positive. New employees (with simple training) pick up its features quickly and start using Jobvite right away for interviews, candidate evaluations, social sharing and/or referrals.
Inconvénients
Jobvite has a robust reporting function and we use it for about 2-3 weekly, monthly & annual reports. Some of the other reports are difficult to create on your own, requiring help from your Jobvite rep and/or Jobvite customer service. The Engage portion of Jobvite (an extra feature) hasn't been that successful for us, but that may just be that we need more training. Either way, we don't use it much. Also, integration is a factor. If an organization has a separate HRIS, identify integration possibilities.

I picked it relatively quickly when I was learning it. There’s not a ton to learn if you don’t go into reporting/analytics so the ramp is easy-ish.
Inconvénients
Reporting and analytics tools are lacking, candidate/applicant tracking is sub-par.

Recruiting through social media was not this much easy before I was recommended with Jobvite...
Avantages
Jobvite is based upon Continuous Candidate Engagement (CCE), which aims to modernize the recruitment space. It is a candidate focused recruiting model which has so many pros to have a look upon. It helps companies recruit candidates with meaningful experiences at the correct time, in the right way, from the very first look. Jobvite is built on a platform which uses automation and intelligence to increase speed, cost-effectiveness, and quality of talent requisition. Moreover, you will be amazed to know that it manage resumes, prevent candidate duplicity, tracks applicant, provide notification and alerts, and so on. It is user-friendly as well. Jobvite provides a great dashboard and user interface, which makes it easy to use and manipulate. It is integrated with G Suite, which helps to schedule interviews and responding from emails seamlessly. Jobvite helps to expand the talent search socially by posting the positions out to your twitter/WhatsApp/Facebook/Instagram network.
Inconvénients
Although Jobvite seems to be a boon in Modern Recruitment Process, it has some disadvantages as well. Firstly, it is an application which is not refined as it contains so many errors and bugs. System lags frequently, and sometimes over filter candidates. Despite being run by automation and intelligence, it is much more a manually operated system. Long clunky log in process is also highlighted as a disadvantage. There are some issues with its upgrades and performances. Its customer support feature isn't functioning as smooth as desired. Another problem with Jobvite is that it is more of a Requisition focused rather than candidate focused. Thus, finding the real candidates is somewhat a tough job with Jobvite!

I am loyal to Jobvite!
I love Jobvite! I was introduced to it at my company prior to Behavior Frontiers, and upon my inception at Behavior Frontiers I suggested Jobvite. The owners of the company loved it so we launched it. It has made the hiring process more streamlined, and easier for our team. I love it so much that we are now looking into the on-boarding piece, which I feel, will make it easier for our HR Team and it will be a better candidate experience.
Avantages
Everything is housed in one place. Everyone on the team can get access to the information they need.
Hiring managers do not need to depend on the recruiter.
Pulling reports is super simple.
Customer service is always great.
Easy application process for candidate.
Easy hiring process for hiring team.
Inconvénients
I wish there were more reports available with graphs and pivot tables that are less confusing when you download them on excel.

State of the art social media recruiting platform with a lackluster recruiting workflow.
Avantages
The Social Media platform integration is still best in class. It works well and allows easy visibility for your company's jobs across all social media platforms.
Inconvénients
There are several things, but the actual ATS part of the system seems to have been designed as an afterthought. The workflow is not intuitive and there are too many features that just are not there for a modern search firm, and I imagine it would be very frustrating for an internal corporate recruiter as well. The worst feature though is their enforced branding through email. If you use Jobvite, every time you send an email through their platform it will go out with a jobvite.com email address. This means that many of your candidates will just not see the emails you send because their junk mail filters are picking up the jobvite.com email address as spam because they have a very high junk mail score and also because the word job is in the email address. When I used Jobvite as a corporate recruiter, I was constantly having to call candidates to see if they had received my emails and when I found out they had not I was resending messages from outside of Jobvite. When I called Jobvite, they said this was not a feature that could be easily turned off, and that the only way to do this was for our sys admins to make changes to the company domain settings and if your admins are like mine, they are not going near that with a 10 foot pole. This an idiotic feature and a deal killer for anyone in the recruiting industry.

Staff Referral Position: An honest review for Jobvite
Rating it by usability and accessibility I'd give it a 10. Although it needs more graphic enhancements to increase user engagement. It doesn't change the fact that it's candidate management performance is top tier.
Avantages
All of the needed information are easy to find on the main page already. It's easy to navigate and manage your referrals using this software since updates regarding candidates and job posting are visible using filters from the search bar.
Inconvénients
None so far but I hope the main page would've been more graphic and creative. Such as color sorting because the software uses mostly text forms.

Helps our Recruiting Needs as a Small Business
It gets the job done and it's useful for us as a small business to have a place where people can apply online without building our own application process on our website. It's simple for applicants to fill out, but it is time-consuming on our end to get the applications ready.
Avantages
I like that you are able to put pretty much anything and everything on the screening forms. So many other software/websites make their application so simplistic that we barely get any information from our candidates other than a resume. We have a full application that we like our candidates to fill out so it is nice to be able to put all the questions we want on the screening form. It's also a convenient way to keep all of our recruiting needs in one spot.
Inconvénients
It's not as user-friendly as I would like it. Creating the screening forms is very time-consuming. It's difficult to be able to delete requisitions or candidates which I understand, but at the same time, it would be useful to have. I inherited the software from our previous HR rep and there were so many things that were incorrect and what not and it's really difficult to clean up requsitions. I'd also prefer if we could turn off the general application as we get so many resumes for positions that sometimes don't even exist.

Pros and cons
Implementation was frustrating but the system is worth recommending. it is very easy to use. Now disclaimer if you do not have a technical team on your side it will be a challenge to implement it and if you are expecting human contact do not :) you will be sent to articles and videos. Would i buy the product again ? yes am I happy with the customer service side definitely no. if you have a lot of time and patience and drive to learn then that o it your self approach will suit you.

I do like simplicity and intuitiveness of the system. That is definitely a plus . Some things could be improved but over all we are happy.

My biggest issue is customer service. We had a fantastic knowledgeable sales rep. Then we had a PM that was mainly an email sender if he responded in fer days it was a success. He was definitely not a PM our [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is a PM and he refused to work with him. Then we got an rep post implementation that does reply to emails with in 3-4 days ( definitely not quality service) . I'm very disappointed with the client service and support. Not to mention that it has been now 3 months and we need t9o maintain our other ATS because they still did not upload our old resumes and there is no end date in site. No I'm sorry nothing. The customer care chat they are curious but supper slow to get a response its about a week. This is definitely their down side.

If you are thinking about it- just do it!
Just a point to note and not really a negative to the platform, but it is something that Jobvite folks can help to make the system even more friendly to those state and local Government folks looking for an ATS platform. Jobvite is a social media recruitment platform so the whole process from hire to on-boarding is meant to be quick and efficient- the platform is more tailored to the modern day business environment where-by users are familiar with technology. Because of this, it is not as "friendly" to local or state government environment. With that said, as a local government entity, still made it to work and have been working now since the beginning on 2019! So that is to say the flexibility and adaptability of the Jobvite are there BUT you need to have a very well-versed administrator/architect/systems analyst to really translate business processes to approval workflow from inception to Go-Live!

Jobvite is good but there are better ATS systems out there!
It was okay, we used it for about 3 years and then decided to switch to Workday, which is not much better and comes with its own challenges.
Avantages
Easy to use, the candidate flow is intuitive and easy to manage, and visually easy to find things. Communication with candidates within the system was good and the triggering of jobs to job boards.
Inconvénients
Pulling reports wasn't easy. Performing a search within the database to find resumes wasn't easy either.

The only good thing is the customer service support as there are so many problems with this software they are really fast and efficient, however many problems do not have a solution as the tool it is not flexible.
Inconvénients
This software needs so much improvement. It is not user friendly, neither good for reporting, you can´t customize the tool and adapt to the company needs. As a recruiter, we can modify the software alerts, so we receive notifications for every new update, change, movement happening, so we are full of notifications daily. It would be much better if we could have a simple view of the positions and have a way to organize and prioritize per position. The reports need to improve quite a lot, and it is impossible to do an internal search of candidates of different positions or from other years.

Fast, intuitive, and quickly developing product
I oversee the hiring process for a 1300 employee school network. We hire around 400 new staff each year and have roughly 4000 applicants each year. We purchased Jobvite because of its user-friendly interface, the platform speed, and the multiple products that come rolled into one (video interviewing, reporting, pipeline management). Our application process is unique and we were able to customize the system for our use. Since purchasing in October, there have already been a lot of updates and improvements to products as well as new capabilities added. They have great customer service and listen to their customers' needs in making improvements (there is even an ideas section for current customers to make suggestions and have them be voted on).
Avantages
We really enjoy the built-in video interview function. We also love the pipeline management, the reporting capabilities, and the overall ease of use.
Inconvénients
We would really benefit from even more customization capabilities. Even though we love the video interview function, many of our applicants experience technical difficulties with it so it may help to make some system improvements there.

Jobvite is a one-stop shop for all of your job and employment needs! They offer different platforms such as HR/Payroll, Time & Labor, Onboarding, Recruiting, Surveys, and Community to keep everything organized and easy to access. With such a comprehensive system in place, you can rest assured that all aspects of your business are being handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
Inconvénients
Many times, it makes updates that disrupt the existing methods of doing things. Unfortunately, customers are usually not informed of these changes and both employees and employers face difficulties as a result. I think they should drop notifications about the changes and release documents.

What I love about Jobvite is the ability to customize the status of each candidate and requisitions with its current status. It also has the ability to send an automated message to candidates which is also cool

The user interface can be improved. I don't find it super user-friendly. Also, as I remembered it was not integrated into our system. So there are a lot of features that they should definitely improve.

Best way to manage hiring process!
We used to have trouble managing job postings across multiple platforms and it was hard for different hiring managers to work with HR to know if they had candidates. Everyone was on a different page or doing their own approach to hiring and we weren't getting the right candidates. Now everyone can log in to one interface for quick and easy updates across every job.
Avantages
I like being able to track candidates throughout the process from where the candidate found us to where in the application stage they are, Jobvite gives so much usable information and makes hiring the right candidate easy! Jobvite easily syncs within our website we are able to have jobs display across our site and easily update them in Jobvite. I can create custom links for social media to track how different jobs are drawing in candidates.
Inconvénients
My one con is that I cannot customize automated social media postings to employee's profiles by job. It's a great feature to have and would be even better if I could write custom text for each job.

My Jobvite experience in the first 6 months
Overall, I think, JV is an underused application with what it could do an as a recruitment tool, reporting tool, and an administrative user tool. However, there have been situations when asked to run a particular report. One would think, JV would be able to run it because those fields are in options fields within the program. Unfortunately, some of our report requests are not available. There's always room for improvement.
Avantages
I like there are many things I like about JV. Figuring they system out wasn't as difficult as I anticipated. I learned fairly quickly how to maneuver around the system. I really like learning what I can get out of the reports and still learning there is so much more there is to be learned throughout the system.
Inconvénients
There are some things that I don't like about this ATS, in general, as there is a lot of toggling around to different screens which takes time. However, I haven't had much experience working with other ATS's to make a fair comparison. There has been frustration getting instant online help in a timely manner. JV may or may not have this as an option, but online learning courses. I use this ATS, not as a recruiter, but more as an administrator monitoring all new WW jobs posted to ensure all new postings have continuity, consistent messaging, spelling errors, along with a gender-neutral tone.

Easy applicant tracking that could use an interface overhaul
Jobvite is a useful tool that is essential to tracking an applicant and making the process easy for everyone. There are a wide range of features for many use cases.
Avantages
I have used the applicant tracking the most. It is easy to create links to send to applicants that links them directly back to you as the one who recommended them. I like how there are a number of ways to share a job posting and it will provide analytics over which postings are the most successful.There are multiple phases an applicant can go through that make it easy to track the status. I am not in HR, so there is a whole side of this that I haven't seen. From a hiring manager stand point, this product definitely gets the job done!
Inconvénients
The interface can be a bit tricky to get used to. Some controls are in places I wouldn't expect. There are multiple ways to achieve the same thing, but sometimes your ability to do something depends on what method you chose to get there.They recently updated their login technology to be more secure. This is great, but it's a bit clunky. When you time out, the page does not redirect you to the correct login page. I keep having to manually change the url to get to the right place.

Complete ATS
As I currently work with another software, I miss a lot of the great functionalities Jobvite has and the freedom within it for the hiring manager to define each requisition flow/process.
Avantages
Jobvite is a complete and multifunctional ATS. The candidate process can be tailored to each requisition need due to the multiple statuses, screening types and contact options.
It feels like an actual flow and it makes it easier to follow the candidate journey and keep track of the email sent and received.
Bulk emailing and bulk change of status are also 2 great tools - which I use to give for granted but I don't have in the other ATS I use for m current product (SF).
Inconvénients
1. No access to knock out form templates + no option to customize basic templates
2. Not all entities/products are selectable when posting a JD
3. when searching a candidate name in the top bar, it should be made default that the search shows candidates in your own req. (With then the option to see all). Most hiring managers would be looking for their specific candidates.

Useful, but with a lot of margin for improvements
It has a lot of potential, but some time should be spent in improving the user interface and the user experience
Avantages
Potentially you can see the whole story of the candidate, starting from they early application ending with the result of the application itself. You have also one single place where to check their resume and skills and provide your own feedback.
Inconvénients
Its user interface is very chaotic. It could possibly depend on how an user (mine, specifically) has been set up, but it is very hard to navigate on all the steps of the candidature and understanding the overall view of the candidate.
Also for sharing company openings there are so many steps to complete that it is very often confusing what you need to do or not.

Great ATS
We are growing and this role is growing, which means there are additional products that could help resolve current roadblocks and mounting obstacles in moving a candidate from the recruiting portion to the onboarding portion. My rep and I have been reviewing solutions to help streamline our efforts.
Avantages
I love how all of my communications with our applicants are easily accessible, and now with the integration with Canvas I can text them directly from within the ATS.
Inconvénients
The portal for creating a ticket or a case is a little clunky and somewhat outdated.

We get rave reviews from candidates during the onboarding experience.
Avantages
I love that the product is so customizable and integrates nicely with our HRIS systems. I also love that it really helps with branding and creating a wonderful candidate experience.
Inconvénients
I had issues with turn over of my account manager on the sales side. I also have had to call or use the chat feature a lot and find that a dedicated customer support team per accounts would be the best route to take. instead, I always get differnt peopel with a differnt level of product or account knowledge and I find myself repeating to them.
I'd love to see more premade reports in the system. We live in the world of Data and It needs to be easier to data mine the system

Jobvite is a great tool but needs to offer more AI features! #jobBot
Avantages
Jobvite is very user friendly and makes it easy for us to train new employees on. I really like the side bar that walks you through anything that you are not sure on. I am also a fan of Jobvite Publisher, great to have social media posts while you are sleeping... set and forget.
Inconvénients
It's need to move a little quicker with the times! Needs to have text message capabilities.. we should be able to text our candidates through the system... we should be sending an auto text 1 hr before their interview with address link and 1 hour after interview thanking them for their time. It should also have option for a Bot Recruiting assistant... one would be scheduling interviews and chat feature to pre-screen our candidates. Similar to systems like textRecruit and Paradox Olivia... do not like that we have to go out to additional vendors.

None of the Job posting platform is this much simple as Jobvite
Avantages
I was devastated during my job search, you have to go through 6 different pages and
fill 1000 question answers for no reason, then you race , color, nation, veteran, non veteran,
and may other things that may have the relevancy but in later phase, not in just apply.
And then came,jobvite, easy one page job post application, you can apply in 2 minutes.
I will definitely recommend jobvite
Inconvénients
Nothing in comparison of other tools in market.

Its very easy platform and help hiring/onboarding process to be very clean. Since everyone is tied to one platform thus easy workflow and better management for each profile has made the hiring process faster and effective.
Avantages
With Jobvite, we were able to eliminate most of our tedious documentations and follow ups. One platform that connects the recruitment team and department hiring managers and make onboarding hassle free. Easy coordination and documentation makes life easier for everyone and the hiring time reduce drastically.
Inconvénients
Changes to job description is difficult as it need to re-upload the entire description. And yes at times the support response are delayed or slow.

Its easy to use and great!
control over the candidates that come into our system.
Avantages
Ease of use and accessibility to other job boards, its a great tool and employees think its easy to view all the open reqs and send the positions to referrals.
Inconvénients
Its more of a manual process, changing templates is a task, setting up interviews for different locations I want to be able to have a button to click for time zones, so I don't have to change it manually in the email to candidates.

More of a Rolodex than ATS
Not great. There are better ATS platforms out there but if you aren't a very large company that needs a robust system, then this will work.
Avantages
The Pros for this platform are not much...you can easily enough navigate without having to do a tutorial. But that's about it.
Inconvénients
Reporting is very weak. Customer support is not the easiest and don't try to ask about integrating with another system because we asked for this for about 6 months and got absolutely nowhere.

Cool to use
I had to use Jobvite on a daily basis. As a new user it was not so hard to understand its use.
It helped to concentrate all hiring processes. The numbers were also helpful.
Avantages
I used a lot the search tool, notes, and messages.
Being integrated with email tool was amazing and I could reply right there on Jobvite.
Notes was important since I could communicate internally and also include important observations to other recruiters.
Search bar was one of the features I used the most since I remembered a name of a candidate and typed it on the search bar.
Inconvénients
I missed the favorite button where I could "save" some candidates.
I was hiring for a junior position and there were a lot of candidates. Not all of them should go to resume review phase but I'd like to save the ones I liked to possibly move them to Resume Review.

It is a little difficult to navigate the site and an old looking UI experience. You also need to reach out to jobvite support to make changes and cannot modify everything on your own.

Challenges on two topics: Boolean Search and Dashboard
Avantages
JobVite does a decent job in terms of our workflow and processing candidates to the next step. The communication to hiring managers and candidates and tracking that info works.
Inconvénients
The Boolean Search is very basic. I should be able to quickly view candidates on my req when searching by a name. Candidates that are active on a req somehow should have priority on a list. Also the dashboard sometimes is hard to read - would be nice to change the color or somehow differentiate the reqs. When you have a big list and look the same in terms of font size and links, it takes time to scan and find your req.
The boolean search of candidates is very basic. The Engage part of CRM is kind of rough.

Decent basic system, gets the job done
It was a fair system, but not overly user friendly. If you are quite adept at software programs and learning new functions you won't have any problem.
Avantages
Cost effective for first year, then prices increase after that.
Inconvénients
It takes quite a bit of time to learn the system if you are having others involved - there are a number of steps involved, but once you get the hang of it it works well.

Review about UI of Jobvite
It is easy to refer a candidate if can find the exact job posting your candidate was looking for, but finding a match from LinkedIn jobs page to this is the challenge
Avantages
It does what it says and that's what matters.For eg:
1. I was able to refer one of my friends to a managerial position from Jobvite
2. I am able to see past referrals details - name, position etc
Inconvénients
What I did not like is how the product is laid down to the user. There are quite a few things which are not obvious to a regular/new user:
1. The workflow of how referral works. There is a dashboard tour but not that helpful.
2. I would want to get notified if the candidate has applied and when his candidature goes through recruiter selection phase.
3. Generally, it happens that a friend looks at posting on the LinkedIn website and asks for a referral offline. I should be able to map job posting on LinkedIn Jobs to Jobvite requisition. I end up doing a keyword search and its not easy task because most of the titles are similar

Avantages
The ATS is built out well. You can scroll through candidates, and move them through the process as we see fit. The reporting is probably the best feature.
Inconvénients
-Very laggy (slow) online software
-Cannot import LinkedIn applications directly. Have to download resume to input
-Search function does not always work. (ie - i search someone's name that I know is in the ATS system, and it tells me that no results can be found)

easy to use, has everything you need
this was a nice upgrade from simpler, cheaper platforms. it's not the most advanced but surely a nice platform that has all you need to keep organized and store many thousands of candidates. you could use this for many years and be just fine.

Jobvite Review
Jobvite is a great system to integrate for a recruiting team. Previously not using a system at all, and a set of online sharing systems, using this system gives a team a lot more time to keep organized. It is great to keep all information in Jobvite, instead of trying to workout of two systems.
Avantages
Jobvite keeps track of who is in and out of a candidate's profile. It helps everyone on the team when there is full transparency on all emails sent to a candidate
Inconvénients
There are some features that are only uncovered with a work around. It would be great if there was a one click button for a few features, but there is not. Easily seeing what requisitions a candidate is in is important. Also how Jobvite keeps track of candidates can be a bit messy, especially when you are dealing with agencies who will submit a candidate who has already applied themselves.

Great tool
We manage our recruitment function across 11 offices using Jobvite. Our recruitment team can keep track of candidate activity and assign next steps as tasks, making our internal communication run smoothly. You can also move candidates through all interviewing steps effortlessly and with transparency for their referrals.
Avantages
THE BEST customer service I've ever dealt with; they're fast, friendly and helpful. It integrates with LinkedIn Recruiter and Referrals. I love that it can also handle onboarding tasks like generating offer letters and conducting background checks. Working with outside recruiting agencies, it helps me manage submissions and does not allow an agency to submit a resume that is already in the system.
Inconvénients
It's a little slow at times, which can be frustrating. It doesn't have way to include LinkedIn profiles for sourcing. You have to download their profile as a PDF instead of adding their LinkedIn link and auto-generating a candidate profile.

Super easy to work with!
Overall, I like the system. I feel they make effort to really meet the needs of the customer. There's room for some more bells and whistles but they're diligently working on things like this and I think they'll only get better.!
Avantages
I like the ease of functionality. In my opinion, the software if pretty intuitive and user friendly. The workflow's are easy and the admin access makes it easy to tweak things that we need to conduct business. I like the Jobvite is working on integrations with new companies all the time, and other software systems, so they're only getting better!
Inconvénients
Reporting. Sometimes if you don't hit certain 'buttons' then the reporting is off or skewed.

"OK" ATS for short term or growth
I had a decent experience with them. The software is good for small companies (or individuals), but i'm not sure how they would do with a company over $100mm in revenue. They do have a built in CRM/relationship management, but it was a basic mirror to others you can find out there.
Avantages
Since the people I worked with were remote, having the software cloud-based was definitely a plus. Also, it helps with your onboarding and compliance (though simplistic) which frees up a ton of time.
Inconvénients
There was a lack of exporting and reporting that you can do. Filling out profiles for potential candidates is great, but importing contacts and having it extrapolate all the information was lacking which, taking time to go through profiles and update them manually.

The reporting feature could use a lot of work
Ease of sharing the reports within the organization.
Avantages
Being able to quickly and easily schedule reports with other employees has been a great time saver. Not having to manually run the report each week is very helpful.
Inconvénients
Trying to create a report can be tedious as the amount of customization can be limited. There is no way to start a report from scratch, Jobvite does not do a good job of saying which dataset the data is being pulled from. Limited custom formulas once the report is created. The 'Notes' field cannot be pulled into any reports.

Solid Product
Once fully operational, Jobvite has performed very well overall.
Avantages
Excellent candidate engagement functionality and the on-boarding tools are top notch. The interactive support/help tools are very helpful and intuitive.
Inconvénients
The admin module is not always intuitive and it can take a few tries to find the right screen for making changes. Additionally, the implementation model is a challenge, as there is no single person accountable to keeping the project on track.

Jobvite: Pros and Cons
Avantages
I like how easy it is to learn and teach others how to navigate Jobvite. I have used other ATS products in the past and Jobvite is by far the most user friendly. I love the dashboard feature and the fact that you can customize it to fit your needs.
Inconvénients
Honestly, the only thing I like least about Jobvite is the fact that after making a change to a job description, you have to go all the way to the bottom of the page to hit Save. I have put in several requests over the years for Jobvite to add a Save button at the top of the page and it has never happened.

Inconvénients
- When you hire a candidate and disposition them to hired the candidates other applications are not updated to "hired", can be confusing with multiple recruiters and multiple locations. You also cannot view a candidates notes for all of their applications in one place. You have to look though all the applications that a candidate applied to.
- the customer support is a joke and slow. Jobvite offshores their support
