Easy to use and train others
It's given us the ability to share information with our hiring managers. Get them more involved in the recruiting process. The system has allowed us to do the majority of the hiring process within one system. True archive of candidates. Streamline applicant process. Overall robust system.
Avantages
It's an easy "drill down" system. From high level view of req to individual candidate profiles. As a recruiter I find it easy to use and track candidates. I train my hiring managers on this system as well and they are able to catch on easily. My managers like the ability to view candidates directly.
Inconvénients
More sorting capabilities to eliminate applicants and to also find previous applicants.

Great ATS!
Overall, great experience and useful for us.
Avantages
Easy to use! I am able to customize it easily to match our process. I am also able to pull reports. Very user-friendly.
Inconvénients
It can me slow some days. Customer service tells you to clear your cookies and it should fix the problem. There were about 2 times in the last year and a half where that didn't work, so it took time to fix.

It's very customizable. Also, their customer service team is amazingly awesome. If I could give 6 stars, I would.
Inconvénients
There are trade-offs with the system being job-centric (vs candidate-centric). Since this one is job-centric sometimes it can be tricky to track a candidate who has applied to multiple reqs and to find feedback from previous interviews.

Robust tool with many features, most helpful
Avantages
I find Jobvite relatively easy to use, I have mostly trained myself. It is well-designed with a limited color palette that helps reduce visual noise. Customization options accommodate our specific workflows.
Inconvénients
I am not a daily user (my role is recruiting-adjacent), so my experience may be different if I were a power user. That being said, Jobvite is almost *too* robust. I am sometimes not sure what the difference is between all the options, and find myself potentially self-limiting additional ways the tool could be more useful for me.

Good ATS for most companies
There are so many ATS options in the market right now, so for an ATS to truly stand out it needs to be superb. Jobvite gets the job done, but doesn't have as many features as some of the more well known systems like Greenhouse.
Avantages
Allows Recruiters and Hiring Managers to review, respond, and collaborate on applicants and candidates.
Inconvénients
A little clunky at times, sometimes it would have lag time.

Intuitive, Common Sense-Based, Easy to Use
I'm using Jobvite to enter candidates that I have sourced on LinkedIn for a number of similarly-defined sales jobs. I am mainly only using the simple, common features of Jobvite, but it's been very effective for these functions. I love the speed and simplicity.
Avantages
The Jobvite platform is very simplistic and was easy to learn. In only a day or two, I was able to effortlessly add and update candidates, view requisitions, send candidate emails, write internal notes and perform other functions. I am still learning the finer points about Jobvite, but so far those other features have worked well, too. The software is very fast - far faster loading times than other ATS systems I've used.
Inconvénients
I wish there was a better way to scan different requisitions based on location and other details. We have a number of requisitions that look almost identical except for their req number, and it's difficult to sort them out at times.

There are also reporting options that might assist, but the search is quite powerful and will search resume contents as well if the All (Keyword) search option is used. love this ATS
I love this ATS! Used HODES, TALEO, and Ultipro before as ATS's at other companies, at JOBVITE exceeds all of them! Clean platform! Clean look and feel of the program. Also, love to pull up Jobvite on my phone; easy to use on a mobile!
Avantages
Easy to pickup and learn how to use without any manuals. Their support staff are pretty efficient of taking care of questions and providing solutions quickly. Easy to update job reqs.
Inconvénients
When you disposition a candidate as hired in one req, would like all the other reqs to close on their own. Not to big of a problem though since the other reqs for the same candidate can be closed manually per req.
Also, wish I could open 1 job req for 1 title, but post in multiple locations, without it looking like I have ten jobs open for that title...

Haven't Looked Back
I think the customer service makes it all worth while for me because I can always find an answer for issued the come up through a quick chat with a rep. They are super!!
Avantages
Ease of use for the average user. Hiring managers can learn the system and be off and running fairly quickly because it is intuitive.
Inconvénients
Sometimes the layout on the back end can be confusing. If I want to modify an evaluation form and have multiple versions I have to remember where it lives and how to connect all the other pieces so it belongs to the right business unit.

Robust ATS - could be all that you need!
Avantages
I really liked the email functionality; it was great to set templates and to not have to write each candidate correspondence from scratch. The software is also quite robust - there were a lot of functionalities we didn't use but I could see how they could be useful to other users/companies.
Inconvénients
I like being able to call in with a question and to get it answered right away; customer service was good but it was not as quick as I liked since I had to submit my questions via email.

Our international recruiting efforts flow effortlessly
I like that Jobvite provides a holistic and comprehensive solution to most of our HR and hiring needs. Because most of our teams are structured to be multinational (even in local offices), getting the right applicant pool constitution can be extremely challenging. With Jobvite, that entire process through to candidate assessment has been made very efficient and highly productive.
Avantages
Communications with panel members and applicants is no longer haggard. Thanks to Jobvite’s intuitive design, everything is better contained and better managed. Response times have now been shortened, allowing us to complete recruitment campaigns much faster than before.
Inconvénients
Making edits or changes to individual job descriptions within group uploads can be very difficult without having to do the entire set.

It is pretty easy to customize and the frequent quarterly enhanced updates are helpful. The system is very easy to navigate and read as well.

The sorting and filtering isn't the best. The errors and tech support is sometimes lacking and can take weeks to get an answer.

I like that all of the communication with the candidate is tracked for ease of understanding where the candidate is in process and who has communicated with them.
Inconvénients
What I like least about the Jobvite is that the onboarding function is clunky with the 'tasks'-and the alerts can't be customized as much as we need.

I'm the head of HR, use Jobvite for recruitment and applicant processing, train others on the system and handle admin across the business

Not much... I inherited it and want to get rid of it as soon as convenient
Inconvénients
Clunky UX from dashboard on to all other pages
Busy pages that make logical next steps tricky to figure out
Way too much use of the same color text, background, frames
Menu and category titles aren't intuitive
Not up to 2018 standards, hard for new users to pick up
Messaging and calendar functions don't tie seamlessly to Gmail or Outlook
Too many clicks to get through simple 1- or 2-process steps
...did I mention it's not intuitive? I've used Paychex, ADP, Salesforce... Jobvite is just very clunky, needs some serious streamlining and UX attention

Streamlined recruitment, with caveats
My team uses jobvite as the centerpiece of our recruiting strategy. We pull data every day to see our progress, and keep all info about each candidate in jobvite. It has streamlined our process, but some unfriendly UI designs and too often outages slow us down.
Avantages
- Keeping everything in one place. Great that we can access candidate information so easily and keep it all organized. Allows us to make sure no one gets dropped.
- Usability with other programs. Love how it merges with my gcal when I schedule an interview, and how I can reply to emails from my gmail instead of having to log in.
Inconvénients
- Ugly emails. Emails sent from Jobvite show up strangely, and the fact that it comes from a strange email address means that it sometime goes to SPAM for the candidate. I find myself going through personal email more often now.
- Customer service. My team had to go through a couple of customer service reps before we found one who eagerly jumped into our issues and took immediate action. I recognize Jobvite is a growing platform, but waiting on fixes means we potentially lose great candidates.

Inconvénients
Customer support can take awhile to connect and we aren't given a dedicated account point of contact. The software can be clunky with many bugs still to be worked out in the system.

Referral for open jobs works ok. i also use it for hiring on my team.
Avantages
This is how I can submit colleagues for referral to an open position. I like how I can see the status of the referral at a glance.
Inconvénients
Referral can't happen except through a narrow funnel. Usually I find the job and try to refer from there...but I don't think it works that way. I have to relearn it each month or quarter I use it.

Data analysts will enjoy customization, but navigability can be frustrating
The breadth of data being captured in Jobvite allows me to create robust reports about our hiring pipeline (diversity, hiring funnel, time from application to hire, etc). Overall the data structure is sensible and usable, once you figure out which columns mean what.
Avantages
Reporting functionality is highly customizable, and the ability to create custom fields is a huge plus.
Inconvénients
When exporting large datasets to .csv (since it's virtually impossible in Jobvite to export datasets of 50K+ rows to .xlsx), headers for custom fields are labeled in unusable ways (e.g. custom_field_xqqxvfws). It becomes necessary to maintain a separate mapping table and manually vlookup the actual header names before beginning any analysis. It also creates a huge headache when coordinating between data integration specialists who aren't as familiar with the dataset.

Glu Mobile Review of Jobvite
I use Jobvite daily as an admin to support recruiters and coordinators. I approve reqs, offers, and help to schedule interviews. It is easy to use and learn but there are few things that I feel could be improved. Currently working on Wokday/Jobvite integration as well as Jobvite/Docusign integration to help streamline our processes.
Avantages
-Refer a friend is an easy functionality that we advertise a lot to our employees
-Scheduling is very easy to use and makes it quick for coordinators
-The home screen improvements make seeing my tasks, offers, and reqs a lot easier when I am in there daily
Inconvénients
-Does not convert time of a scheduled interview for a candidate in a different time zone.
-Does not cluster an applicants - one person can appear 10+ times for each job they've applied to so search can be difficult; would help if a name appeared once and then showed you the jobs they've applied for to make search/sorting easier.

one of the shortest , easiest job forms I have ever seen
Avantages
I always thought, why job companies are putting 6,7 step forms to fill,save and submit
before applying for any jobs, why it is required, ? take few necessary information first, shortlist
candidate and then do a depth screening. Jovite application forms are so easy and they
only ask for as less information as possible. This helps to save time and apply for more jobs and
its not frustrating at all unlike other job application form platforms.

Excellent Applicant Tracking System
Overall, I've very much enjoyed using the system. It interfaces well with other job boards and reaches a large population of candidates. I've been very successful finding qualified candidates using Jobvite and would recommend to others. The cost of using Jobvite has also been very competitive in comparison to similar systems. I really feel that I get a lot of value for my investment.
Avantages
I like the easy scheduling for interviews. Invitations are sent directly from Jobvite to the candidate. I also like that the Jobvite posting is shared on other job boards. This improves the coverage for the posting and candidate outreach.
Inconvénients
So far I like all the functionality of the website.

Archaic ATS
We gave up on jobvite and made the switched to greenhouse which had for more features especially in the feedback and scheduling sector.
Avantages
As far as an ATS goes, we had jobvite for over 5 years and never lost information on anyone we had added to the system.
Inconvénients
There were constantly problems with feedback disappearing, the scheduling tool never working, we felt like we had to have a dedicated team member who was always trouble shooting on calling Jobvite for assistance on a feature that was not functionally properly

Jobvite makes our recruitment process streamlined, organized, and easily collaborative.
Avantages
What I like most about the software is the ability to save workflow processes. That way depending on the type of position I'm recruiting on or where that positions is based, the appropriate workflow process will automatically be put in place and therefore the appropriate managers and other key employees in the recruitment process will be notified.
Jobvites ability to track candidates applying to more than one position in our organization also helps keep us organized and gives us a birds eye view of what a candidates interests are and what communications we may have had with them in the past when they've applied with us.
Inconvénients
What I like least about the software is we cannot easily add hyper links to emails. Since hyper links cannot be part of your templates you have to manually add them to emails. This is tedious.

I hated the integration with Careerbuilder. It's not smooth. It's also too bulky. You can't do anything simple. Everything is a whole thing.

Easy to use and keeps candidates organized
Our candidate tracking has improved which has allowed us to keep track of the top quality candidates. It has also streamlined our internal communications as we can do so within the system and track that as well.
Avantages
I like that jobs and candidates are easy to find in the system. It's easy to attach a disposition to each candidate and keep those of interest in the pipeline so they don't get lost.
Inconvénients
Reporting and analytical features can use some work. Also, customer support is not easy to get a hold of and while I only had one issue I needed assistance with thus far, it took longer than it should to resolve in my opinion.

Jobvite allows me to keep all candidate information and documents in one place, making my time used to be more efficient. Also, the reports portion of the website has made pulling information for my company that much quicker and easier.

Good product, continual improvement but still working on issues
Jobvite is an easy to use platform for the most part. It's robust, loads quickly, allows for you to move through candidates and requisitions fairly easily and has good reporting that will hopefully grow even more robust. It's a good value for the cost, and is a fairly intuitive system for basic tasks, though higher level admin tasks can feel buried.
Avantages
Fast loading, lots of information, good price point. Great implementation team, lots of training available. Continually improving the process and seem to take customer feedback to heart.
Inconvénients
Customizable to a degree, building workflows requires back end help that isn't always the fastest. There's no easy way to make on the fly changes to workflows or approvers, which in a far flung organization can be difficult. The offer letter templates have also, in my experience, been pretty finicky.

Good Service.... Product needs more enhancements... less "future roadmaps" as nike says. just...
The people are great... always trying to do what they can to improve the user experience from a personal level.

It's easy to use... easy to organize. engage tools is good...
Inconvénients
It needs to be updated... I reference Jobvite as a over developed excel spreadsheet. There needs to be some automation... Simplify... for example everytime we have to edit a profile.. we have to click "edit" then "save" rather than just go in and update a field... Making things easier for the end user will increase usage. I've provided back many examples in the past... was told they were on the road map (almost 1 yr ago)
From a user... I've not seen any enhancements that make the tool more effective or efficient in the past 4 yrs.
also reporting needs to be simplified for those who want to run reports themselves.

Great ATS!!
I use JobVite on a daily basis. It's easy to use and very intuitive in the user interface. I've worked with several ATS's over the years and JobVite has been one of the best. It makes my job easier as a recruiter.
Avantages
JobVite is easy to pick up and use. Lots of bells and whistles-being able to integrate notes and data between LinkedIn Recruiter accounts and post to LinkedIn is a great feature! I also like being able to parse resumes and send people links to apply to roles directly from the req I am viewing.
Inconvénients
Sometimes switching between screens could be a little easier but it's not that big of a deal. I am sure there are shortcuts that I don't know about but it hasn't hindered me enough to research it further.

One of the best ATS i have used till now!
Avantages
I was using Jobvite in my previous organizations and it was one of the best applicant tracking system. My job was to get an ATS for the organization and i tried multiple applications before using Jobvite. It has a very smooth UI and you'll be able to screen through candidates and job updates very easily on dashboard.
You can put reminders for yourself, also schedule interviews directly through the app, don't have to go and compose and email to candidates. Also, it schedules your follow up calls and events which is very helpful for recruiters.
Inconvénients
Little expensive. I really don't have much in cons for Jobvite as it gives what i required for and i was pretty satisfied by this product after using it for 2 years.

Useful features but can be streamlined

It has a lot of useful features for a comprehensive interviewing and onboarding process. We recently starting using the video interview feature which has been beneficial.
Inconvénients
The site can be a little overwhelming with options and difficult to navigate.

This product is not all it is cracked up to be. There is no way a Recruiter was involved in any part of the functionality development. It is barely a workflow tracker. The database and tagging capabilities are practically useless.
Avantages
Jobvite does two things well: interview scheduling and social recruiting.
Inconvénients
The Engage product is an add on that aims to create the taggability and database-like functionality that the Hire product. These products end up acting like two databases siloed away from one another. Obvious needed functionality is missing and "on the their roadmap". I can't wait to dump this product when my contract is over.

Jobvite Review
This is my second implementation of Jobvite into a start-up software environment. The support and implementation team does a great job of meeting the unique requirements, where possible, of each customer's needs.
Avantages
Comprehensive and utilizes social recruiting and ease of use for non-recruiters. Good reporting functions and snapshots.
Inconvénients
UI is clunky and the features are not always intuitive. i.e. moving someone that was hired as an intern and moving them to an FTE req and generating isn't seamless. As a result, multiple records were created and because of the ATS integration it's creating some interesting duplications of effort.

Intuitive System
Avantages
Jobvite is very easy to use and intuitive. It's easy to undo a mistake that you created or fix small issues on your own without going through too many steps.
Inconvénients
It is impossible to move someone into a new req unless you manually do it. This creates a challenge as this is a function we frequently use. Also, there are many functions throughout Jobvite that are great, but we were never privy to.

There is not to much negative as this tool. As a user it provides everything you need to get a req out, but also provides the back end analytics you need.
Avantages
I have used this tool not only as an applicant, but as a user as well for my company. This tool easily tracks the reqs that are open, but also shows those who have been referred.
Inconvénients
It is sort of annoying as the applicant because you can just apply, but you have to create a new account when you apply for a job through jobvite for the first time.

Easy to Use and Great Customer Service
Avantages
I love how easy JobVite is to learn and how the team is super responsive to any issues that occur. The best part is how you can truly customize the program to our needs to make our TA processes quick and efficient. The webinars are extremely helpful and interactive, and the way you can customize the Engage Us App and landing pages is awesome!
Inconvénients
the resume database has been down for several months. In January, I submitted an engineering ticket because it was telling me that my CareerBuilder login and password were incorrect, and the communication was great initially, but the issue was never resolved and now it seems like that whole piece of the software has been down (it is July now).
another con: often when candidates are added through Indeed, duplicate files are created. the software needs to get better at weeding out double and triple files of the same candidate.

Intuitive and simplified our process
Spent about 4 years with jobvite and am a big fan. Easy to use and onboard. With a recent change away, they were even great on the backend with the data migration.
Avantages
If you're using it every day, it's VERY easy to navigate and access all the information you need.
Easy access to a community for asking questions and seeking advice/updates.
Inconvénients
Search wasn't as intuitive as I'd like (for example, I have to get the spelling correct - kelsi, kelcey, kelsey) - doesn't autofill
The summary page for requisitions could be more descriptive - it'd be nicer to have a snapshot view of candidates to share with leadership

Hiring Managers Dream Dashboard
This is a great tool, it is a bit pricey but you definitely get all of the functions you will use and more. This is a tool that any organization could grow into - if you aren't going to use the tool to its full use - its still worth it just for the easy adaptability
Avantages
Easy use from screening resumes on their mobile app, to deep diving into an interview evaluation. The tool was was cross functional and there was little ramp up time which is always easily adaptable when learning a new tool.
Inconvénients
The reporting function was a little weaker than what I would have thought, only because every other function performed at such a high level

Avantages
I love the functions within Jobvite and how easily it is to access different information. I have an easy time looking up reqs and appreciate the customization of hiring steps within each req. I really enjoy being able to quickly see on a high level where all my candidates are at and how Jobvite is able to integrate with different softwares we use.
Inconvénients
It is a bit difficult to find candidates. Whenever looking up candidates by their name the software would occasionally pull candidates who's names are nowhere near similar.

Excellent ATS for everyone, beginners and pro's.
For me this is a great software being that I use it for recruiting candidates, posting ads and tracking candidates. It has provided me and many other colleagues that I know who use this software a smoother and easier way getting their recruitment daily recruitment duties done. It serves it's purpose well and the pricing isn't over the top, it's reasonable.
Avantages
Ease of use. You can easily integrate your calendar which is a huge plus. Keep a trail on every candidate. You can also customize this software to fit your company and specific recruitment needs. You can track when candidates have received emails and when they were reviewed. Ease of sharing and posting your open positions with multi job sites for maximum exposure. Integrating with social media is super easy.
Inconvénients
It takes a little longer than expected to customize a job ad as some of the tools are not as easy and advanced as I would like. The mobile app is not as good as it could be or as advanced as some of the competitor apps. There is no way to look at old candidates in the app version which is very important from a recruiter standpoint.

For the most part, Jobvite is an easy tool to use. If it could be customizable more, it would be perfect.
Avantages
The streamlined process and graphs. It is very bright, let's you see our load at a glance.
Inconvénients
There are many things, but most are a quick fix within the programming itself. I wish there were more functionalities, especially when it comes to scheduling candidates, like when a panel member backs out, it's time-consuming to go back into modifying the panel, instead of a button that can easily be clicked to remove the panel and shoot an email out to that panel member that they were removed. A lot of the templates that are in the program have so many spelling errors, grammatical errors.
