Avantages

The App is so easy to use and provides simple access to set up base starting point or common location starting points. It also has a very robust search engine for locating new addresses or landmarks.

And when I have multiple appointments, all I have to do is start up motus for the day and Motus then tracks all my miles from stop to stop and indicates the stopping location after 5-10 minutes.

Motus also provides great reminders and sound tones that let you know that it is actively tracking miles and if you want to continue or stop for the day.

Then Motus reminds you at the start of each month to submit your milage log which goes directly to my company for my mileage reimbursement to be paid out each month.

Honestly the simplicity of using Motus can't be overstated vs the previous methods of having to log each business trip mileage and remember to start and stop my mileage. This new Motus app takes care of all of that and gives me the peace of mind that I am tracking all of my business mileage each day I need to, and all I have to do is start up the Motus app when leaving the home office.

Inconvénients

Not much to be honest, but perhaps I will say the annual submission of vehicle type and if it is in or our of compliance.

While I realize it is beneficial to have a newer model vehicle, in my opinion that shouldn't determine milage reimbursement level as reps drive the same milage regardless of vehicle.

Mile tracking is ok the time tracking sometime works but I have found it’s outdated and slow.

Customer service is a joke. I waited 30 minutes only to be told that I needed to talk to the app group. I then waited another 30 minutes then told they would call me back and they did not.

Sometimes it will not allow yoy to sign in and you have to go about it in a different way

Ease of usage. It's 2 clicks away each morning when you're ready to travel. It also asks f you're still using if you forget to shut it off after work hours.

The ability to manual enters mileage without manager approval. Also, the insurance what the driver uses vs what the app recommends.

It's hard to make adjustments to your mileage if you had a deviation in your travels or forgot to start it at the beginning of the day.

I hate the way my employer uses it to screw me on vehicle mileage, and I get a wack on my end-of-year paycheck when I need the money the most. Every time I use it I am reminded that my employer is taking advantage of me with inadequate reimbursement on my auto expenses. It's a reminder to keep looking for a new job.

Motus is a valuable tool for any business that reimburses employees for mileage. The software is easy to use, accurate, and integrates seamlessly with accounting software. You can accidently swipe up or cancel the trip you are recording. There need to be a step added to confirm if you are stopping the recording.

It is easy to use and it uploads to the web easily and accurately.

Nothing that I can think of. This product makes tracking your miles quick and easy.

Motus is the easiest and most user friendly app in the workplace! I've used multiple apps and the view by day for mileage is phenomenal. It is such an easy view of what you've done so far and how to edit if you notice any errors made.

The mobile app is so easy to use. You can do multiple lines at the same time. You can also go back in your history for addresses, etc. The ease-of-use makes it.

The only con I have is, it’s constantly tracking you. You can set it up for certain hours during the day. It does affect battery life.

Easy to use and keep track for my role for mileage and expenses. Easy to customize and modify when needed.

Only a few times GPS doesn’t track but easy to switch back and forth between precision and smart modes. Easy to modify trips or manually enter.

I like that it has many options that you can adjust according to what you need it for, say like amount of time stopped at a location to count as a visit. It makes it so I don't have to log paperwork files and submit them for reimbursement.

Inconvénients

The only issue I ever run in to, is that sometimes when you pass near emergency vehicles, it interferes and causes a disruption in recording. Other than that I have no other cons.

The ease of use is fantastic. It tracks daily mileage and creates a map of each day.

Once in a while it will not record mileage (if in a remote area)

It is super simple to use. Just press a button to start your tracking and easy to end your trip. Does a good job tracking your entire trip and total mileage

I wish it didnt always track your location even when not using in order to be effective

Avantages

Motus makes it easy to track miles. Just push the start and stop button when needed. No need to back track places travelled or tracking mileage as it does it all for you. Very easy program to use.

Inconvénients

Only thing that I see as a con would be the compliance part. Having got a car that I didn't drive much during Covid its relatively low miles, but I get dinged on taxes as it over 4yrs old. But I think thats more of a gov't stipulation, not reflective on Motus

Can be challenging to adjust miles if/when I don’t remember to start the app until 15min into my drive.
