Easy to use, intuitive, great support from Osseno. They are always quick to reply.
Onboarding was done smoothly. The team could start using the tool right after the onboarding sessions, without the need to deep dive into documentation. Osseno learning platform is also easy to use.

Inconvénients

I wished that the traceability matrix could be created using more than 2 parameters. Example: module requirement --> component requirements --> test cases.

Company stays in touch, reviews collaborations and brings improvements based on customer feedback

Inconvénients

Cloud solution can be slow some times, structuring the requirements expects people to also understands that you don't just have 1 excel.

Avantages

Methodology behind seems to be quite good, but the implementation is poor. Excel import/export is quite good as it allows me not to use ReqSuite.

Inconvénients

Terrible user experience - opening tickets only in one window - time consuming to do anything, several seconds to open another/parent ticket, no sensible tracking of dependencies (only direct links, so the most important info like full decomposition of requirements to system function or cross-dependenciess are not available) - everything needs to opened one by one which again takes time. Discussion/comment section is so tiny... Navigation in ticket detail is confusing and very annoying - when I open the detail in 1-window system, the search list is no longer visible until closing/minimizing the detail. Strange behaviour when updating decomposed issues - when I update one, it freezes the whole structure and it is not possible to work with them until it it propagates everything (which can take anything from 10s - 3mins)

Avantages

The features that ReqSuite offers are so impressive for us because we can map our business processes almost 100%, without changes, due to the high configurability of the software.
After a short training ReqSuite is described by the employees at BORA as easy to use.
In our research and development department, ReqSuite has become one of the most important software products of the company since its introduction 2 years ago.

Inconvénients

The data export and the very cumbersome and partly outdated reporting in a Word document is the biggest problem for us so far.
Here, the use of the SQL Report Server with freely definable parameters would be much more suitable for us.
Likewise, a graphical configuration, with drag & drop, would be more contemporary.

We chose ReqSuite® RM due to the great UX which offers a high flexibility. In addition, the very good personal support before, during and after on-boarding made the configuring the tool according to your own needs pleasant and easy.

Actually, nothing. The usage is straight forward, it covers everything you need, to addressed problems or feature requests, the ReqSuite® RM team responds quickly and implements it.

Avantages

The customizable workflows, AI agent that oversees data quality, the customizable user dashboards and notifications, and the sophisticated way in which the tool maintains data relationships to allow full traceability through complex entity structures.

Inconvénients

A very responsive development team is willing to accept feature suggestions and include them in the development roadmap. So, any missing features I have identified have either been already added into the software or into the development roadmap so they will appear in an upcoming version.

Avantages

The main feature from ReqSuite that we use is traceability. This was easily setup with the help of Osseno. Thanks to the "import from Excel", it was easy to fill an initial database.

Inconvénients

What I like least about this software is the documentation generation.
I had some struggle before having an acceptable word-template.
Also, it would be handy to be able to select from multiple word-templates (currently only 2)
Extra filter possibilities, e.g.: filter on status (proposed, accepted, etc.) to create documents only showing the "open" items

Easily adaptable for different requirememts management processes including the option for enabling a guided process workflow. Supporting modelling tools for contextual delimitation by Use Case Diagrams and use of set templates (Satzschablonen) like user stories with acceptance criteria.
Bidirectional synchronous interchange with Jira, Sparx EnterpriseArchitect.

Suitable separation of administration and operative user perspectives.

Inconvénients

he pricing model and the marketing strategy of Osseno leads teams not to try to use this professional software. These persons will not reach a quality controlled set of requirements for their product in development or in operation in an easy and modern way of working.
Unexpereinced requirements engineers are allowed to decide to switch off the automatic quality control for requirements. If they do not use this quality feature their specification quality of requirements is limited.
Unexperienced user are allowed to automatically visualize their functional requirements by using the modeling interface. The resulting model does interprete the textual descriptions precise. Based on bad quality of specification the model interpretation is deviant to the users expectation.

Avantages

The high customizability of the configuration template was valuable for our organization as we needed the structure inside ReqSuite to reflect the way we work. We are pleased with the Jira interface integration that allows us to push information into the development side of our business. The interface in ReqSuite is user-friendly and straightforward.

Inconvénients

We are missing interproject linking of requirements, more customizability for database views and advanced permission management for users.

Avantages

Die ReqSuite® RM ist ein sehr intuitives Tool. Nach einer sehr kurzen Einarbeitung kann man sofort loslegen und erste Erfolge verbuchen. Die Kanban Ansicht ist besonders hervorzuheben. Durch diese sehen alle Stakeholder sofort, wie der Fortschritt des Projektes ist und welche Aufgaben es noch zu erledigen gilt.

Inconvénients

Bei der Import- und Exportfunktion könnte man noch ein wenig feilen.

Super Tool, intuitiv zu bedienen, graphische Unterstützung und guter Support

Inconvénients

Excelexporte sind besser geworden, aber auf BAsis des aktuell verwendeten Datenmodells wäre noch die ein oder andere Verbesserung wünschenswert, aber das ist kein Showkiller

Avantages

Einfach Handhabung, hohe Flexibilität in der Anpassung. Aufgrund der intuitiven Bedienung arbeiten sich Mitarbeiter innerhalb weniger Stunden in das Tool ein!

Keine entscheidenden Nachteile, alle Zusatzwünsche an das Tool konnte von Osseno implementiert werden

Avantages

Das Ausmaß an Flexibilität und Benutzerfreundlichkeit gefallen mir am besten. ReqSuite bietet einerseits die Möglichkeit der Komplexitätsskalierung aber andererseits die Möglichkeit der Vernetzung. Optimal geeignet für ein modernes Problem.

Inconvénients

Ich begleite das Produkt seit Mai 2020 und habe einige Entwicklungsstadien miterlebt. Es gab einige Bugs oder Nachteile, diese konnten aber durch eine E-Mail mit anschließender Besprechung gelöst werden.

Avantages

Besonders gut gefällt mir der hohe Grad an Anpassbarkeit. Fast alles ist individuell einstellbar (Kategorien, Attribute, Beziehungen, etc.), so dass ReqSuite sehr schnell auf das jeweilige Projekt zugeschnitten werden kann. Auch der Support reagiert sehr schnell auf Feature-Requests und Bug-Reports.

Inconvénients

Sehr wenig. Eine Benutzeroberfläche für kleinere Bildschirme - zumindest zum reinen Anzeigen - wäre schön. Auch die Möglichkeit, mehrere Beziehungstypen zwischen zwei Kategorien zu haben, wäre in der einen oder anderen Situation praktisch gewesen. Die Konfiguration des Projekts und der Vorlagen braucht am Anfang sicherlich etwas Einarbeitungszeit, aber das ist bei jeder komplexen Software der Fall.

Once you got a short training, the software is very easy to use! The implemented process guide works very well and almost everyone of our team loves to work with ReqSuite!

Avantages

I like the ease of use, meaning its capabilites to handle thousands of entries easily. Without it we would have lost the overview and wouldn't have finished the project in time, budget and scope. Also you can always "print" nicely formatted word doc. for those who need it (layers;) Then the possibility to connect with Jira is a vital feature.

Inconvénients

I didn't miss anything. I would use it again tomorow.

ReqSuite ist flexibel konfigurierbar und daher sehr gut auf unterschiedliche Projekte und Kunden anpassbar. Im Verlaufe der letzten 9 Monate hat sich das Produkt sehr gut weiterentwickelt und unsere Wünsche wurden dabei berücksichtigt.

Inconvénients

Bei der Übersichtlichkeit der Tasks der einzelnen User gibt es noch Optimierungspotential.
