Avantages
Ultimately, it had everything I was looking for in a debt collection system. It offers a great deal of customization to effectively meet your department's needs. Technical support is timely and effective. They work closely with you to ensure the initial setup and training targets your specific needs. SimplicityCollect has an online help guide as well as videos to help with ongoing training. They have live CHAT for problem resolution. They also have a solid list of partners should you need payment gateways, skip tracing and more.
Inconvénients
I'm old school and like to have a manual to read through. I printed my own manual for every day use. This may be a non issue for many people, but was important to me.

You get what you pay for.
Avantages
You get what you pay for. We have been using Simplicity Collect for years and were very happy with it until it was taken over by Finvi. That's when things started going downhill to the extent that we just couldn't use the software anymore. Not only did they not update the software with vital features mandatory to comply with state and federal law since taking over, but they also started migrating features to the extent that the software is no longer viable to use.
Inconvénients
Standard features such as a client portal can no longer be integrated directly on the collection agencies' website. The interface is outdated and very unreliable.

Best Collection Software
Great experience.
Avantages
The software is easy to use and cost efficient. The developers are always upgrading the software to make it easier to use and to add on better features. Its a one stop shop for collection agencies.
Inconvénients
When I first got Simplicity I wasn't able to split payment 3 ways but now they've done an update and we are able to split the payment 3 ways.

Live Chat support is not helpful .They want us to pay $700+ a month to get a few questions...
Not good for resolution of issues when you have to live chat . We had someone who tried to help but she said to do didn't work and then it was OH WELL ATTITUDE. In collections you want your accounts imported properly. We have accounts that imported fine and when you click on them, it created a duplicate record. There should be an easy fix to this, but no one is sharing it. We put a ticket in 2 weeks ago and they just got back to us and couldn't duplicate our problem so I guess I am out of luck.
Avantages
It doesn't provide all the reports we need but it provides no support unless you pay a hefty fee. We already pay a monthly fee to use Simplicity.
Inconvénients
The name Simplicity is not a fair representation of how to use the product. It is more complicated that they explained. Videos don't support "outside the box issues"..

Stay Away
We signed up 2 1/2 months ago and as of today have not used Simplicity once. On multiple occasions we were told that they could work with our client fee tables but long story short they could not. So we paid for services never provided and they flat out refuse to refund the fees we have paid. We only signed the contract and paid the fees because Simplicity stated they could provide the services and functionality we needed. Which was never the case.

Simplicity Collect issues
Up until a week ago it has been okay, but the past week the software has been offline intermittently at critical times of the day for us, with no real explanations except the canned response. We will be evaluating other solutions after this fiasco.
Avantages
Easy to use for collectors. Basic reports are easy to export.
Inconvénients
past week have not had access to software intermittently, get canned answers for what the issue is. Have asked for call back from Management have not heard yet. Very rarely does someone pick up the phone when you call. We will be evaluating other platforms due to issues and lack of updates when there are issues.

In this instance, our support team did employ canned responses to ensure that all of our clients received timely and accurate basic information during the 3 partial days of performance degradation and service interruption. FOR THE MOST PART, I DO LIKE SIM. HOWEVER, I DO HAVE SEVERAL ISSUES. ONE BEING THAT YOU GUYS ARE NOW CHARGING BY USERS. THIS CAUSED AN INCREASE IN OUR BILL FROM 99 TO 350. THAT IS A CRAZY PRICE INCREASE CONSIDERING I ONLY HAVE 5 EMPLOYEES AND I USE THE USERS AS A PLACE TO ORGANIZE FILES BASED UPON THEIR STATUE SO TO USE THIS BILLING METHOD AS A WAY TO JUDGE THE SIZE AND USE OF YOUR SOFTWARE IS A POOR MISTAKE. IN OTHER WORDS, I USE THE USERS AS A STORAGE AND ORGANIZATIONAL METHOD AND SHOULD NOT BE PENALIZED FOR IT. SECONDLY, THERE ARE MANY ISSUES WITH YOUR FILE EXPORTER IT HAS SO MANY PROBLEMS WHEN I OPEN THE FILE. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS AN ISSUE WITH EXCEL HOWEVER THERE NEEDS TO BE A BETTER WAY TO DO THAT. THIRDLY, THE SEARCH FILTERS IN BULK ACCOUNT AND JUST GENERAL SEARCH HAS NO WAY TO CLEAR WITHOUT REENTERING THE BULK FEATURE, An ADMINISTRATOR SHOULD HAVE THE ABILITY TO OMIT A CREDITOR OR OMIT A COLLECTOR IN THEIR SEARCH. THE SEARCH IS CLUNKY IN ADDITION WHEN EVER YOU TRY TO ORGANIZE BY SENDING OR DESCENDING VALUES IT TROUGHS THE WHOLE SEARCH OFF OFTEN GOING BACK TO A PREVIOUS SEARCH CAUSING PROBLEM.

I can understand your frustrations there, it does sound like our support staff were able to identify your problems and work them out to your satisfaction. From a billing/user side we were also able to identify the "users" that you have in the system that were not being used as login users and mark them so you will not have to worry about being charged for them moving forward. Avantages
Pros are that it's a great software for assisting in debt collection and keeping your accounts organized and maintained.

Cons are that there are several other similar companies out there that can compete.

Great collection software at an extremely reasonable price. We have been a customer for almost two years and couldn't be more satisfied.

There's not much bad to say - direct payments could be a little easier and it would be nice if the customizable downloads actually defaulted to Colorado rather than Zambia, but there are very small problems

very disappointed
we have had many issues with client statements exported data and promises to help and then they changed pricing we still stayed with them and we agreed on a certain amount and they charged us more than agreed and charged our credit card early this is just completely unacceptable.

I apologize that you had such a negative experience with Simplicity. In looking through your records it looks like you were only with our company for a couple of weeks. During that time you were contacted via phone and ticket several times, were sent training materials, and participated in training sessions by our support personnel. We do have export tools that are automated for your client statement reports and letters as well. Again, our apologies for the experience you had. We at Simplicity strive to ensure that our support, software, and service are top notch.

Love this Software
Using Simplicity has been nothing but easy. If I have a question, customer support responds immediately. Their manual is very thorough and helps with pretty much everything you need. The price point is right where we need it to be. Other companies charge much more with fewer capabilities. Two thumbs up!!!

It is reliable and allow me to easily enter and record notes and payments. Customer service is great. They always get back to me. I am an auto finance company so this product is a round peg in a square hole. Surprisingly with customization it works nicely

Simplicity is the key.
We are a startup and searched and evaluated several software packages. We looked at high-end solutions and compared them to what we could get for our startup situation. We chose simplicity because it fit our needs and our budget. What we could not evaluate ahead of time was the quality of the support they offered. We were astounded by the caring and concerned staff that "held our hands" through the initial setup and integration. Although it was a relatively simple process, it was good to know that they were always there to help when we needed them. The follow up the support team has provided has been second to none. We are excited about the updates they continually provide to improve the software and look forward to a long relationship.

Simplicity Collect - Great tool but lots of functions to learn
This has a lot of functions for a decent price; however, there are some things that can be simplified. Sometimes there are field updates (like phone extensions), but it is not updated across the platform. If debtor side is updated, client side is not. Other than that, customer service is always very helpful as we transition to this platform.
Avantages
There are many ways to customize the platform, like reports, viewing, etc. However, it is not easy to learn how to get what you need to be customized. At least the customer service department is very helpful and willing to guide you through processes.

Great customer service with ever expanding software.
Simplicity has been a great program for our business needs. Whenever we have a question, the Simplicity team is quick to respond. When we need a more complicated fix they always offer to provide custom programming. The new releases are innovative and exciting to implement into our procedures.

We're highly impressed with what you get for the price.
We had searched for a web-based program for years; and, thought it was too good to be true when we found Simplicity. Simplicity fits right in without subcontractor heavy business; and, has actually saved us some money that would have been directed towards a computer company for upkeep and storage of our previous program which was stored on our main server. We have been very happy and impressed with Simplicity.

My overall experience with Simplicity was really good. They were very responsive throughout the sales process and everyone is very professional.
