Apartment Manager Review

It was easy to learn and easy to use software.

Avantages

Personally I managed 7 properties and it was so easy to navigate between them, they were all in one place. Resident portal was user friendly, all my resident switched to online rent payment.

Inconvénients

The only problem I had was resident communication, sometimes the emails would reach me 24 hours after tenants submission.

overall good system

overall the system is good, i just wish it worked better more consistently.

i do appreciate the user friendly system

Inconvénients

what i like least is the functionality, there are a lot of glitches that happen very often and customer support is less than helpful most times especially when its an urgent situation. It can take weeks to resolve at times.

Entrata is extremely Helpful

Using entrata has been fairly user friendly. I do think it is a helpful service.

Avantages

I like that finding the information for what is needed has been made a lot easier in the past year.

Inconvénients

I wish that when we were looking to solidate specific information there would be an option to do so.

Entrata - Student Living

Overall, entrata does have some glitches but they are minor. I would definitely choose to use entrata over any other property management program. The benefits and ease of use with entrata cannot be matched.

Avantages

I like Entrata mainly because of the dashboard. The dashboard makes it super convenient to see everything that needs to be done and any tasks that are outstanding. Also, the bulk unit assignment board is the greatest thing when you are roommates matching people and assigning apartments.

Inconvénients

One thing I dislike about entrata is that sometimes there are random bugs and glitches. Some things are easily resolved an others take forever to be fixed. I've had multiple problems with entrata saying that two applicants have the same email address (which halts the entire application process) when in fact no one has the same email.

Mixed bag

Avantages

Entrata allows tracking of daily tasks with a variety of customizations to best suit the profile to the user/company.

Inconvénients

Constant glitches and automated "updates" cause a lot of havoc and wasted time on solving. Input tickets are only sporadically answered same day - one issue was loaded in December and is still not resolved (the following December).

Entrata User

I have been using Entrata for leasing since December 2021 and overall, I have enjoyed my experience. The software was easy to use and allowed for me to adjust into my position quickly.

Avantages

This Software allows for me to affectively assist residents in a timely manner and fashion.

Inconvénients

Although the alerts are helpful, they can pile up on my screen when there are too many.

Best software out there

Entrata has made the work day much less stressful. Entrata is very friendly to teach new employee how to use the software.

Avantages

I love that Entrata has figured out to post money without having to put all the numbers in off the money orders.

Inconvénients

The fact that you can't always refresh a page to update changes. Most you have to log out and back in.

Great experience so far

We've saved a lot of money internally and team has been very supportive!

Avantages

I have been using Entrata for over a year now on our apt complexes. The best part is its user friendliness.. especially for leasing staff and residents, it is super easy to follow which reduces our training efforts when new employees join, and also makes it easier for residents to keep in touch via res portal

Inconvénients

The issue is that because it's still new, there are bugs in the system - for example reports not being generated in enough unique combinations of factors.

Good operational management tool

i enjoy using the software. it is very useful. we have been noticing a high volume of user related issues on the resident end of the platform. We would like for the help desk to be more responsive to resident issues. often times the resident is directed back to the property level for assistance. we spend various time weekly attempting to troubleshoot resident issues that should be solved on the customer support end to assist the resident

Switched from ResMan!

The system is much more user friendly than our previously used software - it allows for our day-to-day operations to run consistently smooth.

Avantages

Dashboard home screen allows us to track important activity + highlights action items. Ability to send leases & other documents directly through the system to be signed.

Inconvénients

Several glitches have come up, many including email issues (BCC recipients not receiving communication, residents unable to respond to email relay, etc.)

I am one of Entrata's biggest fans! The software and support are hands down the best. All the products rolled up in one system vs using several others and having a million log ins.

In depth reports

Overall it seems to be quite wonderful if colleges aren't using this they need too! the in depth part of what you can see and where people are just able to track progress to show owners that look the guys are working they are doing as much as they can here are the numbers, could we please hire another person.

finding expenditures on apartments, remodeling, make readies, repeat work orders on same unit.

Inconvénients

the app for techs to use, you either need mobile or desktop version. The actual app when screen goes dark it messes with time on the work order which then messes up the reporting. so once that is fixed alll in all a great product

The setup looks great and demo's look smooth. However, the system is actually limited in functionality and the settings are not intuitive to learn and follow processes.

Avantages

At first, the easy of use looks great, but once you start really using it, it lacks full functionality.

Inconvénients

confusing to follow steps to make updates. Both limited functionality and conflicting setting make using the system difficult for admin/support people.

Access Entrada on the Go!

I have used Entrata in the multifamily industry.

Avantages

The best thing about Entrada that puts it above many other property management softwares available is its accessibility. You can access Entrada on the go- ranging from a laptop, to tablet, to even your smart phone. It is a fantastic tool when you are out of the office, and need to complete tasks away from your desk.

Inconvénients

My biggest critique for Entrata would be to step up on their marketing game. What they have to offer is an incredible service, which I believe many more companies would benefit from. Unfortunately, most of the property managers I know use other software such as Yardi.

Requesting a few more features

Avantages

I do like that the software is pretty easy to use and navigate and covers a lot of bases regarding leasing/ property management.

Inconvénients

I feel like this product needs a couple more features in order to really simplify what we do on the leasing end. Having the option to manually color-code or add notes to the homes that are listed on the wait list would help us to more easily identify certain homes that are showing as available but are not quite ready for move in due to different circumstances.

Entrata at Dobler

At first it was pretty horrible. Once the company started having more people involved and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] stepped in as our point person, things started going smoothly.

Avantages

I used Entrata software at Dobler for years and was pleased with the change ([SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was excellent as our point person.) and the accommodation for the company.

Inconvénients

Unless you have an IT person in the company working on Entrata all the time, all updates can be frustrating.

Very positive overall with some hiccups.

The program is very simple to use and easy to implement for onboarding purposes.

Inconvénients

Self-service reporting formats would be a big plus. Ultimately the reports are the only connection owners have with the software so being able to create our own report format would be very useful.

Best Software for Property Lead Management

Top choice for lead management software and wish I could have it back so that I could stop wasting so much time with managing prospects.

Avantages

My main exposure to Entreat is ARW (Alliance Resident Works). Oh how I wish we did not make the switch to a different lead management software. I could manage lead and go through follow-ups so much faster than now. It was easy to control and navigate once you got the hold of it and was extremely responsive and fast.

Inconvénients

That the dispute with Yardi forced us to go with another lead management software. I just want you back! Besides that, the only thing that may have been nice is to have auto follow-ups instead of having to do it manually. There's a lot of lazy people and would just wait for the lead to pop up as unresponded later than desired; at least for my team

User Friendly - One Stop System

One stop shop for maintenance requests, voicemails, e-mails, and notices for residents.

Avantages

It was easy to use, the click of a button and a lease was ready to go, and allows the property managers flexibility to manage the property.

Inconvénients

Waiving fees can get tricky, sometimes the background processes takes longer than normal when screening international applicants, and it automatically adds late fees.

The "all in one" features and online leasing are great functions.

Online leasing, customer/lead management.

Avantages

Online leasing makes my job so much easier. The message center function is great and simple for personal customization.

Inconvénients

It is updates often (which is good) but you need to relearn many things often. The site often has many controls and features that can be disabled by the company admin and make it difficult to use all features.

It could refresh the badge numbers on tabs faster so they do not show there are things that need to be done when there are not.

User friendly for sure

Mostly great for my team to make their job easier. Any difficulties experienced were more on a managers level so overall it was a benefit.

Avantages

I liked the ease of moving through the system from function to function and the clear path to get to just about anywhere
I enjoyed the various features like the community classifieds and the point system encouraging tenants to use their portal.

Inconvénients

Growing pains. A lot of bugs to work out and the customer support was not the best. The after hours answering service never followed scripts.

Excellent Intent

Helpful in recording the resident's entire history with a property, from a holistic standpoint (everything is tracked).

Avantages

This software assists in all aspects of property management, from leasing to accounting and resident management.

Inconvénients

Updates aren't always intuitive - it can take time for new features to develop in a way that's natural to the property's processes.

Katies Entrata Review

Avantages

Its super easy to use from the management side and from the tenant side. I use it almost every day at work, but the complex i live at also uses it so i get to have the experience from both sides.

Inconvénients

The only thing i would change is the ability to completely separate each site so that you are only seeing the information per property, not just by filtering. Being able to go in and just see a specific sites Entrata would be ideal. for me at least

Job Costing

Overall, the reporting is nice and does help in being more efficient.

Avantages

Love the accounting features with this program. I soley work in Construction and the job costing piece has come a long way in less than 2 years, but also has long way to go.

Inconvénients

Not very much control on the job costing side with contracts and purchase orders.

Great, easy to use and set up for your property.

User Friendliness

My overall experience has been pleasant and Entrata has been very helpful in providing excellent customer service with it’s data base and user friendliness

Avantages

I like you can generate lists for residents and send communication by one click instead of finding individual resident’s emails and sending a bunch and I also like the activity log where you can pretty much add any interactions or information relating to a resident

Inconvénients

The frequent automatic log outs and not being able to turn off the send as promotional emails option when sending mass emails
