Entrata Is Great

I have had a very good experience and no issues on my end and I am very satisfied.

Avantages

Very user friendly and customer service is phenomenal.

Inconvénients

That if I renew a resident in bulk edit and not in the renewals section in the dashboard, those residents cant be deleted on that list.

Maintenance workorders

Avantages

Great for maintenance to see what the issue is before I go out on call. Also can see if I have permission to enter or if pets are present.

Inconvénients

The priorities being high enough to go to work on off days.

Ease of use

Avantages

It is easy to use and shows all my current work orders in order that they are received. Ability to make notes and change work orders status and make notes visible to residents.

Inconvénients

The only thing I can think of is not being able to go to completed work orders to see which units have had work completed on repeat items.

Honestly my team and I are very impressed with the functions and capabilities of Entrata and what it is able to accomplish for our organization. The constant forward thinking and development helps keep all the unnecessary software plug ins to a minimum. As a small business owner having a "one stop shop" greatly improves the efficiency within our organization. Keep up the Excellent Work!

Inconvénients

More flexibility in the PO system, and we would really like to be able to conduct vendor bill payment via ACH without having to go to AvidPay (Avidxchange product)

usable but needs improvment

works for what I need but wish it had more functions on the maintenance side of things

easy to see tallies and total numbers, work order note options are nice and managing keeping track of residents work orders by unit is easy.

Inconvénients

searching through residents and work orders is very limited there need to be more ways to search through work orders using key words and categories, there needs to be a way to generate a report on how many work orders you have in a given period for a particular type of problem like kitchen sink leaking, and then you get a report of how many kitchen sink leaks you had during that period of time. this would help budgeting and planning of maintenance,. would also be nice if you didn't have to go back and forth to to the list every time you want to look at a work order, you should be able to expand and contract the work order right on the list so you can more fluidly go through them, when we are in meetings we go over every work order and we end up printing out a list because it is easier to go through them that way. waste of paper when the product could do the same interactively without needing to generate a report.

Great Product, Great Staff and Always Evolving

Everything is easier: communication, payments, work orders, leads, follow ups etc.

Avantages

Entrata offers great products all around but the fact that their staff is available all the time is huge! You can call on the weekends or during the week and actually speak with a real person! Their online resident portal goes above and beyond giving resident's access but access that we can see on the management end as well! Being able to offer them streamline services with work orders, application processes and different payment options, proves that a software company can do it all. I also love that they are always evolving and asking for input!

Inconvénients

The improvements could be the apartment order as the numbers show up in the reports. It groups by several different options, but not a consecutive list. I am sure they can easily fix this!

Thank You Entrata! Every Employee at Customer Support is Amazingly Helpful!

Though it took me a while to transition to Entrata software I now find it much more user friendly than Yardi was.

Avantages

Customer Support is friendly, informative and was instrumental in my training process.

Updates that change permissions often effect my productivity.

Entrata Review

Overall, it's great.

Avantages

Entrata is easy to navigate, has a multitude of reports, I can call for support anytime.

Inconvénients

Cannot look up unit numbers, only names depending on which site I am at. I cannot place pinned notes anywhere on the face of the applicant/ resident profiles, reports aren't easy to get correct information seeking.

A product you could rely on!

It has been a smooth experience so far with the features of the product. Feature-wise it's all good but the response time could be improved.

Avantages

First of all, The deployment (transition) was seamless. Lease tracking, Occupancy Management, Rental tracking, and online payments are the best features to make your work easier. Easy to understand and use all features.End-to-End services from financial to Maintenance.

Inconvénients

The support system could have improved. Sometimes the response is delayed for critical issues.Hold durations are longer when agents are busy with other users. Need to wait till 8 AM MT to speak to the support desk.

Entrata- Still not sure

So far it has been a very big learning curve. I think the training makes it seem like it's very easy to use and ready to go. However, after using it in real time there is a lot more to it that what you think. Has some really great features but I am not sure if we are even using it to its full potential yet. I will update my review as time goes on and I have been working with the system longer.

Avantages

The dashboard showing all the tasks needing to be completed are very helpful, that way you know at the end of the day if you have missed anything. Customer support is very responsive in answering any questions or troubleshooting any problems within the system.

Inconvénients

Not knowing how many of the permissions are turned off at the beginning make implementation incredibly difficult. During the migration process and training period there should be discussion over the permissions, and they should be set up initially with the trainer. Sending residents applications and leases to sign has created confusion and most of the time prompts them to start a new application or guest card. This creates duplicate entries that sometimes you cannot delete until they move in (was told this by customer support)

Entrata is robust, easy to use and efficient

Our Entrata reps [sensitive content hidden] have been absolutely amazing. They are incredible responsive and go above and beyond to help with any issues I've mentioned. There has been no problem too small for them to jump in on.

Avantages

I've only recently started using Entrata but I like that there are so many settings can be customized to match our processes. Our Entrata team (specifically, [sensitive content hidden]) are incredible. I don't know if my experience, personally, with Entrata would be the same without their help!

Inconvénients

The only thing that I would like to see is more back-end training for Administrators. There are so many available features that I'm not sure how to use. I only recently started using Entrata so I assume this may be an option in the future but I think it would really benefit our company to have a "master" Entrata user who receives in-depth training and knows how to really unlock Entrata's full potential.

We love working with Entrata. They are quick to respond to any questions or issues we may run into. The software is very user-friendly and easy to learn.

Avantages

Entrata is very user-friendly and the best property management software out there. We also love the customer service we get from our reps, and the help desk team.

Inconvénients

The update days can be a little frustrating when figuring out what was changed but it's usually a quick solution.

Overall it is a great program. Prefer it to Yardi.

Avantages

The reports library is wonderful. So many different useful report types to pull to get the full picture of what is going on at the community.

Inconvénients

When it bugs out occasionally and I have to redo a lease. It also makes someone put more than one address on an application and sometimes people don't have a second address when they're first time renters.

Helpful product that hopefully continues to get better

Avantages

Entrata makes tracking resident documents, financials, maintenance, and units easy. I appreciate our rep (Tegan!) and how available she is to our company. She uses a lot of our feedback to help build a better product.

Inconvénients

A lot of the software isn't intuitive. Functions are hidden in inexplicable places, or features that would make it more helpful don't exist.

Amazing Capabilities

For my day to day tracking of work orders this software is very easy and intuitive to use. I wish I had more training to allow me to use the power this database has to track and pull information that I could use to order parts and see trends in my maintenance repairs.

The fact that I can see work orders at home on weekends.

I think that the lack of training I've received doesn't allow me to use Entrata to the extent I could.

Absolutely love Entrata user friendly efficient great program.

Very good, I have been in property management for many years and used several different property management programs. Entrata by far is my favorite!

We did the conversion several years ago it was very user friendly. Training was also very helpful.

I feel the reports function could improve, I have to scroll down all reports to find the report I need.

Best Resident Manager Program!

I do not have any problems with Entrata. I really like the system letting me know which tasks need to be done. And I LOVE the paperless office!

Avantages

I like the My Dashboard because it is my to-do list every day. I like the ability to send emails to all residents at one time. I use this feature often. The online payment is user friendly.

Inconvénients

Integration was easy. There's not anything that I don't like.

I like how, for the most part, everything is where you think it would be.

Entrata's features are great, when they don't take 20 minutes to load. This is an exaggeration but sometimes it really does take a long time to load reports or upload documents.

Thoughts on Entrata

Avantages

Entrata has a ton of customizable options, which sounds great from a marketing perspective to make each property different. There are a ton of reporting features which is nice, as well.

Inconvénients

There are so many things I feel like are almost there, but need to be engineered further. Special displays on the website cannot be customized, and so they never look right with the rest of the prospect portal. Photo layouts in photos and tours pages cannot be clicked on to zoom in on an image, I think that hurts any desktop users ability to see our amenities. The fact that photos are not automatically resized when setting up prospect portal is so time consuming. We migrated to Entrata from another software, so over the span of a couple months I had to resize photos for every slot in propsect portal for over 20 properties.

Easy to use, and pretty intuitive.

I like the interface and the options to get info where it works for me. It's easy to read and look at...which is important if you're looking at it for the better part of the workday.

Easy, convenient lead management software

Avantages

It is very easy to track leads through the leasing process and follow up with prospects. It also allows for us to implement our paperless policy more effectively by providing the tools to document resident files in the cloud.

Inconvénients

Every online service can have outages but it would be nice to see more communications with affected offices when an outage or system downtime is detected.

Very user friendly and the Submit Support Ticket feature is amazing. The Entrata Core team is very responsive and their use of photos and training videos makes learning the system very easy

Inconvénients

When a resident is up for renewal and has rentable items like storage or parking, then the property manager needs to put the rentable items On Notice, then Move Out the rentable item, then Move In the rentable item again for the charges to post properly on their ledger. This is very redundant.

I love Entrata

Avantages

Entrata is super easy to use and easy to find information. Your able to play with it a number of ways.

Inconvénients

I wish there was an option for an easy report. Like a simple Move in report.

Avantages

Having worked both for Entrata and as an Entrata user, I have found the system to be extremely user friendly on both sides of property management.

Inconvénients

I do wish that support was a bit better on following up about certain things, mainly the timeline of how long it takes to get something resolved.

Easy to use and figure out without training.

Inconvénients

I takes a day to update to Yardi. Sometimes I have to look in Entrata to see if a payment has been made because Yardi doesn't post the payment until the next day.

Easy, understandable, great service

As someone new to my field, Entrata has been an amazing tool to help learn the in-and-out of leasing and property management.

Avantages

You can generate many kinds or reports to help you track different aspects of the business.

Inconvénients

Some functions I have not mastered yet. Guarantor signings and fixing small errors on a lease are complicated.

Look no furtha, use Entrata!

Avantages

It's quite easy to use and navigate, easy system for the residents to utilize as well.

Inconvénients

My least favorite quality is the resident's inability to opt back into marketing e-mails, once opting out.

Ease of navigating once you learn the system.

Avantages

Easier than other programs to navigate, and able to assist residents with using it also.

Inconvénients

Unable to see current occupancy or preleased as a full-time person, some of the programs should be easier accessible.
