WorkWave Route Manager est une solution cloud de planification d'itinéraire qui permet aux entreprises de livraison et prestataires de services de créer des itinéraires, de suivre les conducteurs et de rester connectés. Route Manager permet aux utilisateurs de planifier les créneaux horaires et demandes des clients, d'ajuster les plannings/itinéraires selon les besoins, de confirmer les heures d'arrivée des conducteurs, etc. Les utilisateurs peuvent créer des itinéraires optimaux et utiliser des fonctionnalités telles que le glisser-déposer, idéal pour affecter des commandes de dernière minute et envoyer des alertes en cas de violations. Route Manager permet aux conducteurs de synchroniser les mises à jour avec le bureau via l'application mobile. Ceux-ci peuvent recevoir des itinéraires, enregistrer la preuve de livraison, pointer en début et en fin de pause ainsi que marquer les commandes comme reprogrammées ou ignorées. Les planificateurs permettent en outre de suivre les conducteurs et de garder une visibilité totale lorsque le suivi GPS est activé.

Great routing tool

Overall, very pleased with WorkWave

Avantages

GPS tracking and the ability for our customers to acknowledge delivery using the app.

Inconvénients

We had to play around with the features to find out what works best for us. Also, we have to input a lot of information but that is to be expected I suppose

RouteManager saves us time and money

Overall we have had a great experience. The customer service is quick and easy to work with. The features of the product are great and they have worked with us on some added features that have helped us.

Avantages

We love a lot of things about RouteManager. It saves us a lot of time and money when planning routes. Our customers love that they stay informed with each step of the process as well.

Inconvénients

Our biggest struggle is the limitation on the notification. We would like to include the hotwords "Order Type" when sending notifications to depict whether it is a drop off or pickup that is being referenced.

Stay away, there is better options

Not helpful, almost fraud cos they lost most of the clients. Finally we left it after 10 years of bad support, high cost and old solutions that we find better and with a lower cost in other platforms.

Avantages

Nothing. It was a good platform 5-10 years ago, not improving, with todays standard its very exensive and bad service, I´v benn working with route mng for 8 years.

Inconvénients

Customer service not helping, low skills, just want to charge you

Good product for managing your fleet

Avantages

Easy to use, planning routes for your business. Can easily re-route trucks to get certain stops first. Lots of options to improve performance

Inconvénients

Would like to be able to select groups of stops to switch to a different truck with the balloon feature but Workwave does not do that

WWRM is a great job tool!

It's been a great year using this tool daily.

Avantages

I love how easy is to import and export information with Work Wave Route manager. Assigning routes is pretty easy with WorkWave Route Manager.

Inconvénients

Honestly, I would like to know with more details about how his system calculate cost and would love to have a better real time location of my drivers.

Disappointing software

Frustrating and disappointing with no improvements in sight.

Avantages

The only thing I think works well is the notification. It will send a notification whenever a setting is violated.

Inconvénients

Everything. There is no dashboard so there's no way to get an overall view of the driving behavior. The vehicle trackers don't let you save identification information like vehicle VIN number, license plate, drivers name. There is only one description field so if a driver switches vehicles and someone forgets to update the name on it it's nearly impossible to tie the device back to the vehicle. The default breadcrumb color is white and the map it's imposed against is mostly white so you can't see the breadcrumb on the map. You can't setup scheduled emails to push driver behavior reports to you on a regular basis and since there's also no dashboard you're constantly having to pull reports and make sense of the Excel data it exports. Reports are limited to a certain number of days data you can pull. The features and user experience is NOT intuitive. The only reason I've continued to use this product is because we have the device wired directly into our vehicles and cost to uninstall them and install a different brand just isn't worth it. This feels like a piece of software designed in the 90's and forgotten about by Workwave.

Overall, I have really enjoyed this routing system and my rep is always easy to get a hold of, very knowledgeable and alwasy willing to help.

Avantages

It is simple to use and you can see your drivers and orders in real time.

Inconvénients

I do not like that it does not indicate orders that have a time sensitivity attached to them.

Route Manager Review

It's been pretty decent overall. The hardest challenge I faced was getting the my co-workers to adapt to the new process and new software. The tool generally functions well and we do not have any major complaints that would prevent us moving forward and continuing to use the tool.

Avantages

I like that the onboarding process is very hands on. They definitely make sure that you understand how the tool operates, how to setup your instance, etc.

Inconvénients

I don't like the fact that you have to contact support to create territories, add drivers, and adjust your vehicle limit. It's very annoying and it's inefficient for a fast moving business. I also dislike the reporting and email functionality. The reporting is very limited, doesn't include any sort of automated emails and the export you do get isn't very clear to a lot of users. The email notifications also aren't customizable as far as the scheduling goes. The mobile app also only shows you a limited amount of days forward.

Work Wave Review

I enjoy working with the support number, they are always helpful and prompt. I feel [sensitive content hidden] my account rep is fabulous A joy to work with, although once I used Work Waves more often I had less interaction with anyone because I became self sufficient.

Avantages

Once learned the ease of the system is what's keep me using the software.

Inconvénients

I like to figure things out on my own, sometimes with Work Waves there are things they can see, that i can't see and I am unable to resolve the situation on my own.

WorkWave Route Manager Needs More Features

Inconvénients

There are limitations in customizing certain features to suit our specific needs. For example, the ability to tailor reports or dashboards to our unique requirements is somewhat restricted. The mobile app occasionally experiences performance issues, such as slow loading times or glitches, which can disrupt field operations and lead to inefficiencies. When the internet connection is unstable or unavailable, the system's functionality is significantly reduced. Improved offline capabilities would be beneficial for field teams working in remote areas.

software to go for

i was looking for long time for such powerful software. yes it takes time to master it but even as the beginner you can shine. watch tutorials and everything will be ok

It has been very good. If there are issues I can message and the replies are in good time frame.

Avantages

The ease of transferring pertinent information for the delivery drivers to make their day easier.

Inconvénients

Being able to find the proper location to change (permanent or temporarily) information for the runs I'm working on.

My customer contact [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is excellent. the webinars are good, the site info is brilliant.

The training videos could be used for us to download for internal training though?

will become expensive the more vehicles i have on the road.

Avantages

It is easy to use, read and the functionality is good. wide range of different uses.

Inconvénients

it would be good to have better reporting on useage, costings, per vehicle for KPIs -
a dashboard for the daily jobs on. this could be on a TV screen showing the routes and ETAs so people don't have to log in. its a display function. it could flick between the routes

The training videos could be used for us to download for internal training though?

Single user for home inspections

The most helpful and cost saving is that WW saves me 8 + hours each and every week I use it

A great solution

currently the objective is to reduce the number of routes used to distribute our shipments by 30% this is totaly achievable and the optimization algorithms of Workwave are doing it.!!!

Avantages

The software has all the needed features for secuencing and generating routes, it does the job, it really flexible and can be customized to every need.

Inconvénients

Speed of optimization , lack of advanced filtering in routes, the more filtering options the better handlign of shipments.

Tied into 12 month commitment?

Im still learning how to use it.

Avantages

The demo the rep showed me when he did a zoom meeting was why I was i was interested in the software in the first place.

Inconvénients

The rep told me I was tied into a 12 month commitment? I haven't even used the software yet and they charged me 99. I'm still patiently waiting for someone to go over the onboarding process with me. I was told I could not cancel at any time! I didn't know I signed a 12 month contract! Very misleading sales rep!

Saves Time and Fuel

We are a service company calling on many business during the day, this tool allows me to accurately calculate what is achievable in a day, thus saving my business time and unnecessary fuel wastage. We arrive at our customers premises when we say we will be there, proving our efficiency in the eyes of the customer and raising our profile - now l can truly say we would be lost without it! Now all customers calls are completed in the one day, Routing to specific sites within open times, it really does make life easy if you are a service manger and l would recommend Viamente as it has multi route and allow for time restrictions which is difficult to calculate manually, The biggest benefits are time savings, both for me working out the routes and for the service drivers, in addition uploading the routes to your gps is superb, being able to download the map as well, showing the route is also very useful, lets face it we drive on very busy roads and software like this adds to service drivers safety as it automates the routes and calls.

Viamente saved my sanity!

Avantages

The Viamente Route Planner software helped us tame a project that was loathed by many. Our team would have to load 2500 addresses into a map software that could not group routes on its own. We would have to draw boxes on our maps, zoom in to print the map and list of addresses, and then zoom back out. Then, we would repeat that process 250 times to give us 10 houses to a route. Viamente took the manual work out of it. It was able to group the houses into routes of 10 on its own and then provide us with a way to print maps and lists easily.

Inconvénients

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing online software from a company so far away. However, the Viamente team discussed all my concerns with me and provided me with such great support. We have never regretted our purchase.

Great partner and great technology

We've been working with Viamente for over 2 years now, and have been continually impressed with their level of service and technology.

In terms of technology, we've heavily used both their web interface and API, and each has worked just as expected. The web interface has been intuitive for our employees, and the API easy to integrate with. As such, what started out as just a way to aid our drivers on pre-existing routes , Viamente has now become a central component of our online grocery delivery infrastructure.

Though the service has been stable and performant, whenever we've needed any support, their team has been extremely responsive with any issues that have arisen, and as our service has grown, they've always been willing to work with us to figure out the best way to work together.

WorkWave is good but lacks ease-of-use

Avantages

WorkWave has an incredible suite of features including multiple drivers/vehicles, a mobile app, real-time vehicle GPS tracking, and driver scheduling.

Inconvénients

The software had very deep functionality but the training that was offered was not that helpful (nor was it cheap). Compared to some of the other web-based routing platforms, WW has an old UI/UX and is not intuitive.

Turned Weeks of Work Into 4-5 Days

We are not your typical user of Viamente as we are not usually involved in logistics. Once a year we delivered yard signs to over 2500 supporters within a week. This was an important annual event which had grown into taking weeks of manually creating routes of 10-15 signs along with maps for our volunteers. Viamente's software turned weeks of work into about 4-5 days. We no longer had to manually circle an area to grab the best section of town. The software broke down the routes for us, even creating the map and directions for us. It was a lifesaver and I nearly cried when we saw what the software could do.

We have been customers of Marathon Data Systems since 1987 when the software was called Carpet Cleaners Software or CCS. There have been many changes over the years however all for the better. The RoutePoint software is the perfect way for our company to retrieve any information with a click of a button. Any service industry would be able to adapt this software to fit their business.

Simple and Easy to Use

Saved 2-3 FTE by planning our routes using Viamente and not leaving to the drivers. Simple and easy to use. Each driver was spending 15-20 minutes everyday and then we organized and staged product, now one person does it in 30 min. simple to use saves us time saves us money
