Great for a small company
- Shared holiday calendar means all managers can see who is in/out at a glance (integrates very nicely in google apps)
- Our entire leave policy pretty much just references 'use timetastic'
- The cost is very much worth the benefits
Avantages
Timetastic was a big step up from our previous spreadsheet leave system. As the team expanded, it made it easy for us to have a 'proper' approval system for leave, avoid clashes between critical staff and scrap the rubbish paper calendar on the wall that no one ever bothered to look at!
Our leave booking is now simple, and there is no excuse for forgetting to mark your holiday. The calendar sharing means I can see at a glance who is out of the office. We also use Timetastic for signess leave and tracking who is out the office for sales trips and meetings (an extra bonus)
Inconvénients
Some useful features are not there yet
- If some staff get extra holidays each year, this cannot be done automatically
- Holiday roll-over options are basic and may need manual tweaking at year end
- Moving your holiday year end is a nightmare as you effectively have to 'start again', entering all holidays by hand (though to be fair this is not something you do frequently)

Strong experience. Can't fault it. Never fails, easy to use. Simple yet effective.
Avantages
Timetastic is a great piece of software for any company. The ease of use and most importantly the visibility / clarity is second to none in terms of other products I've seen.
Inconvénients
Not a lot, it does what it says. Perhaps better reporting would be beneficial. It's annoying that we have a system for this and a second system for HR management. Would be better if we had this as an all in one. Long terms we'd move away from timetastic once we get something that integrates both.

Easy to use but needs to do more
Avantages
It's easy to use, the notifications for requests are clear and make it quick to approve. The Slack integration works well and allows everyone to see who's off on a given day.
Inconvénients
I don't feel the integration with anything else I'm using is good enough. We integrate with Slack, but that's it. I'd like to be able to pull it into the scheduling software I use (Harvest/forecast).

Simple when Simple Required
Avantages
Really easy to setup and get started. Simple to use and switch on and off as needed when tracking time. Also really easy to integrate with other applications

Timetastic the tool every HR manager needs
It's a great tool that has simplified the process of managing and tracking all types of leave for our employees. The process is simple for employees to request and track their own leave and for admin/managers to approve or decline. You can add all different types of leave including maternity, compassionate, sick leave, training, lieu and holiday plus more. You can view everyones calendar and scheduled leave all at once showing a snapshot of who is off when. Timetastic is an excellent resource for HR managers.
Avantages
As a small non profit it is incredibly affordable and efficient. Before this we were tracking leave inefficiently on a spreadsheet. Timetastic has been a gamechanger for us and is a system thats well worth it.
Inconvénients
There isnt anything I dont like about Timetastic

Very Happy with Timetastic
Really happy using Timetastic, it does exactly what we need it to do for our company. Very clear interface and excellent features.

A great time management solution for our company
Avantages
It makes it so easy to request holidays and find out quickly how much I've got left for the rest of the year.

Excellent HR and Management Tool
A pleasure to load, use and share info on our team. Can see at a glance when to schedule events.
Avantages
Easy, visual, colour coded and comprehensive tracker of any time taken off on leave or sick or working from home
Inconvénients
The half days would be better diagonal and therefore easier to see. Could do with hour by hour time off logging.

A perfect tool for SMB's to manage their absence calendars
By using Timetastic, we have reduced the chore of recording absences in multiple places from a six stage process down to two. At the same time we have been able to provide staff with access to the system via the app which allows them to see an overall picture of holiday requirements within the company on a 24/7 basis so they can make decisions about whether or not they will be able to book time off in a particular period..
Avantages
Timetastic gives you an extremely quick and simple way to manage all kinds of staff absences from holidays to sickness days and is flexible enough to be able to cover most scenarios within a business.
In a world where some software is priced at a level where small businesses cannot even contemplate using it, Timetastic provides an excellent solution at an excellent per user price, and all without trying to lock you in to a restrictive contract term.
Everything about the program is well designed and user friendly - staff love the ability to be able to request holidays at any time 24/7 using the app.
Inconvénients
There is not a lot to dislike about Timetastic, it does what it says on the tin. I could do with a couple of small features adding but they are just particular quirks to the way we work and may not be needed by everyone.

Timetastic @Indulge
We really enjoy using Timetastic because it is a cost effective way to simply manage staff leave. The auto roll overs and approval process make the product great value for money.
Avantages
All of our staff use the system and it's features on a daily basis. We use the platform in our weekly priorities meeting to explain who has leave this week and any upcoming leave.
Half of the team is based in Guernsey so we have utilised the custom holiday feature because in Guernsey we have a Liberation Day on May 9th, which is different to the UK.
Inconvénients
In an ideal world our team leave app would also tie into our scheduling app, which is Harvest Forecast. So there is extra duplication of time to set up holiday in Harvest once it has been approved in Timetastic.

Delightfully Simple
Avantages
I am a huge fan of products that focus their features, but do those things very well. Timetastic is excellent at keeping track of our team's holiday time and showing the team who will be out on any given day.
I appreciate how it lets me sort people by teams and set up custom national holidays for people who work in different countries. It also helps us award more time based on tenure with its easy start day tracking.
We really recommend it!
Inconvénients
I don't have many cons. I wish I would have found it sooner!

Timetastic - Simple to use annual leave planned and a refreshing changes to SaaS web applicatio...
Buying Timetastic was a win/win for us. It does the job of annual leave booking fantastically well, and all our staff love it because it is instant and they can see/book leave on their phones. It has never been down and it is always lightning quick. At the price this is, it's an absolute no brainer.
Avantages
- It works consistently, quickly and intuitive and easy to use
- The wall chart makes it really easy to see where people are in/out of the office
- Automatically detect clashes and show them when leave is being requested / approved
- Using the mobile apps, leave requests can be approved on the go so even when staff are outside of the office they can have approvals for time off done quickly
- Break down your staff into individual teams and have a set manager to approve
- Add custom leave types
- Tie into your calendar on phone
Inconvénients
I haven't found any - the software does everything that it says it does, and it does it well. I would love for this company to expand more into scheduling type applications for scheduling on-site visits for us to clients etc. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Makes vacation management quick and simple
We have been using Timetastic for a few years. It's affordable and easy to use. It integrates with chat platforms such as Slack to provide a daily digest of absences, so the whole team know who's off and when.
Avantages
It's simplicity and friendly appearance. It's great for managing time off on both HR and Employee's sides. They also offer mobile apps to quickly book time off.
Inconvénients
Not much. Although It would be great if there were some extra features (such as staff recognition).

A major step up from the last package we used. Easily customisable eg. leave authoriser, departments, countries public holidays.
It just saves so much time from manual methods.

Overall a positive experience
Previous holiday recording was extremely clunky, based upon email requests and approvals and an Excel log. Timetastic gives us far more flexibility and takes the onus off one Approver and easily delegates that to Line Managers.
Avantages
Simple to configure; intuitive for users; good VFM.
Inconvénients
One requirement which Timetastic could not meet is allowing a particular leave type to be only approved by a specific Administrator.
We have the approval set per user to Dept Boss, and this is great for annual leave, sick leave, etc. but I have one leave type - Working from Home - which I would like only myself as Admin, not the Dept Bosses, to approve for all staff.
As yet (with a Support call logged) I have not seen a work-around for this.

Timetastic is fabtastic!
We use Timetastic for absences relating to holidays, meetings, conferences, birthdays, sickness and remote working. It's a non-bloated simple and fast tool, which we only wish had better integration with Slack!
Avantages
The simplicity, the interface, and that it's made in the UK :)
Inconvénients
Love all of it, just WISH there was a way for it to show more information via the Slack integration, like what the time off is for (eg holiday, meeting, sickness) and if it could send the notification to slack the day BEFORE, not the actual morning of the event. PLEASE!!!

Straightforward and easy to use
It has saved us a lot of time, given staff a feeling of more control over their holiday booking and planning and saved us a lot of admin effort

We like the fact that this has made our holiday booking quick and straightforward.
It calculates part year holiday entitlement and is a clear and visible system and the approval process has been streamlined.
The mobile app makes it very easy for out of hours use
Reporting is easy too and has helped with mid-year planning

Super easy for employers and employees to use!
The app is great for staff as they can book leave as and when the need arises (evenings and weekends) and the leave can be approved or declined by Managers with the click of a button.
From an employers perspective we are notified of any department leave clashes prior to approving employee holiday requests and can address accordingly.
Timetastic has been a definite time saver for us as we now no longer need to manually work out how many holidays people have used annually.
Avantages
We had an antiquated paper request and wall calendar system before Timetastic so anything would have been better. However, Timetastic exceeded our expectations both in design and ease of use. The simplistic approach makes it really user friendly for staff to book leave and have constant visibility of remaining leave for the year.
Inconvénients
There are no cons so far! We have found it to be exactly what we needed and should have implemented it years ago.

The Easiest Way to Track Attendance
We moved form a paper form request system to Timetastic which not only made the reqesting of leave more efficient but allowed us better plan business trips, meetings and events.

Does exactly what we want it to do!
This is great for our business. It's these sort of apps that are perfect for a virtual business.
Avantages
It's ideal for us working in a distributed environment (everyone works from home across the UK). Makes it easy to submit and manage requests but, also, see at a glance who is out and in. We have also integrated it into our Slack instance so that we get channel alerts at the beginning of the day, telling everyone who is in and out. We use the Google calendar integration as well. The responsive design is good too.
Inconvénients
I'm struggling to think of anything that it doesn't provide us. Integration into personal Slack channels would be nice to manage personal leave via Slack.
