User expectations
Overall its a great program. I haven't experienced any bugs and the site is very responsive. I would like if the work orders page would simply refresh it's self.
Avantages
The app makes maintenance tracking seamless. The amount of data you're able to export is another highlight
Inconvénients
More features in the premium plan. It seems there's a huge permissions jump between premium and enterprise I'd like to see a smaller margin. The inability to import without using support is surprising. At least a second set of eyes analyze the data.

The overall product and experience has been very easy from start to finish.

Has already saved me hours of work!
The MaintainX process for billing and sending out invoices based on submitted work orders has saved me HOURS of work over the old-school 1982 way we were handling invoicing.
Avantages
Super easy to develop and distribute invoices to customers and being able to track the billing and payments.

Nothing currently, but I've only been using it a few weeks.

We started getting good technician comments and work order time tracking on Day 1. Input of requests by Production was immediate and praised by Requesters

I have implemented 6 different CMMS programs over my career. MaintainX has been the easiest to implement, easiest to train technicians, and fastest to be adopted for a small to medium sized department.

Reporting is somewhat fixed in the standard Dashboard but you can create custom Dashboards

Great Program at a great Price
I have only been with Maintain X for a few months but it has really helped our company. We are able now to see what work is needed, see how long it took for the repairs to happen, as well as be able to have a report at the end of the year to help us budget. This reporting also allows our finance team, as well as the owners of the company, to see what repairs needed to be done throughout the year.
Avantages
For myself being able to track our Preventative Maintenance and work orders is crucial. I manage the property care for 6 stores as well as 5 rental properties. Having all the information I need in the palm of my hand is crucial. Maintain X helps be acquire that information quickly and easily.
Inconvénients
the toughest part I had when going to Maintain X was figuring out how everything functioned. I would like to see some more features added to the different categories to help distinguish different parts, as well as the different types of assets that companies can have. I would also like to see more integration with metering and how those could be utilized in the reporting. It would also be nice to where if an asset is "down" there would be an option in the acceptance of a work order so that the asset could be labeled "offline" from there rather than having to manually go find the asset to mark it in the program.

Overall this program has been extremely helpful for our organization. We get more done and can justify our role much easier with the reporting part of MaintainX.

Work Order Preventive Maintenance
July will be two years of using MaintainX, the company has liked it that they had the other plants start using MaintainX.
Avantages
Easy setup and use of the computer and mobile app.
Inconvénients
The work orders has four buttons; Open, On Hold, In Progress and Done. What is missing is a button for Incomplete to help with PMs that are missed. I think this would also help with Reporting Completed Vs Incomplete PMs.

I have been using this app for a long time, it also the first app I have tried. I have never even considered moving to another company as I am so impressed with this one. Creating and allocationg work orders are a breeze. I also love being able to check the progress of the work order.
Inconvénients
People are the weak link. They do not check the orders and forget to log their progress. A pop up, email or alarm will be great to inform and remind people of their tasks

Maint Techs leading the drive forward
It is intuitive and if your in the maintenance world it will feel fluid to you and navigation is pretty straight forward.
Avantages
Ease of use for mobile devices, pictures of things found, pictures of parts and assets. Pictures are just huge for us.
Inconvénients
So far it is a bit overwhelming as it is very new but we are diving in and getting it sorted and things are seemingly coming together.

Invest some time and it is easy to use
I'm very happy with all the options I have on my cell phone:- searching, filtering, reading, adding pic's and leaving notes. All the info is in my hands and in my pocket. I do not need to bring the laptop with me and miss something.

Finally an in depth, very intuitive
I searched for three years and tried four different applications before we settled with MainainX. They are in our opinion, the Gold Standard.
Avantages
Too much to describe. basically it work the way maintenance workers think. Everything is linked and it makes it easy to build the assets files, store information about the assets, and link it to parts, vendors and contacts.
Inconvénients
There are a few quirks. Sometimes you have to exit the application to see information that you update. And, it would be nice to be able to transfer contact information for other applications directly. Not a deal breaker.

I have been congratulated several times for the use of MaintainX and the organization that we carry out in Maintenance tasks. It has been an exponential growth for our department and is reflected in the results of external audits.
Avantages
What I like the most, is the Service. I have a "Contact MaintainX" link to get support immediately. Every time I ask for support, I receive an answer in less than 5 minutes.
Inconvénients
So far I do not have anything to dislike about MaintainX. It has a been a great tool for our daily Maintenance, other departments Requests and Audits.

An essential tool for my day to day

Game changer from the paper system we had previously, you can add or omit as much information as you like and slowly build in assets, parts etc as you go along.
Avantages
The best things about MaintainX is it's paperless and live, there are no delays from putting on a job to it hitting the maintenance team, no printing out slips and handing them to the engineering team or pinning them on boards, it pings on their mobile in their pocket.
Inconvénients
The only little bump in the road was, each job needs to be approved by myself, so if I don't get to the request the job isn't generated, however we've overcome this by adding a lead engineer to be able to do this too. *I was trying hard to find an issue I've had over the time we've had MaintainX*

MaintainX is an excellent tool for Facilities Management
The report tracking allows me to visually demonstrate the needs of our department to the C-Suite. Very helpful in explaining costs that most suits are not accustomed to dealing with.
Avantages
It is a very easy app to teach to employees. It does not take a lot of time to get your team started using the product.
Inconvénients
The premium version of the app is rather expensive. I created a less flashy version of MaintainX using HTML and Java for web browsers but the phone based app is preferred by staff.

MaintainX is our organization's first CMMS. MaintainX has helped streamline facilities' work order requests and management. As our business rapidly grows, having a cloud-based platform that is accessible to any of our remote sites is a massive win for us.
Avantages
Working in a critical industry, Facilities uptime and preventative maintenance are everything! MaintainX has helped us reduce downtime and improve our organization's reliability. This all comes while still being a fraction of the cost of other solutions.
Inconvénients
I wish there were options to build reports based on the original purchase price of assets vs maintenance and operations costs for LCA purposes.

I couldn’t imagine managing the facility without it. We had no system when I started. And this has been a game changer. It has taken a while to really get integrated but that’s not the fault of MaintainX, more of the slow restructuring of the entire maintenance program at this facility. MaintainX has been the central tool to help make this happen.

Having everything in on place. The more I can stay on this platform the more I can keep things organized.
Inconvénients
Lack of user tagging in messages, and an inbox to track tagged messages happening in the work order comments module. And there should be more visibility to the conversations happening in the work order. Not really a con but more of a feature request.

Being able to see where my crew spend their time is critical for me. This tells the company where to spend their money to get more production from machinery.

Honestly the backup received from your online support is outstanding. We have I been left in the dark unable to figure out something. The help with creating procedures from paper copies within my company and being able to digitalise them so all crews can use them when required is one of the best parts I love about MaintainX

Definitely! Something that gets me is not being able to add more the one asset to a work order. If I have 5 machines that require preventative maintenance on the same day. I want to be able to add all the assets and not have to make up 5 work orders.

Its user friendly and the MaintainX team was very friendly and helpful in getting us up to speed very fast especially during the trial period. So far I am very happy with MaintainX. If the conditioning formatting can be made available as part of its basic features.
Avantages
It has all the basics that's needed for maintenance of assets and ability to include other suppliers to the WO's which is trackable.
Inconvénients
If Meters can also create a notification especially for vehicle mileages when it is due for servicing based on the odometer readings that is input into the program per asset. This helps track and assist in the maintenance of our vehicles and other assets that requires servicing after X amount of hours or km's of operation.

Great value for the money and has all the features we need
low cost of entry. easy to get started quickly. has many features that a company can use immediately. Web and mobile portals are easy and convenient to use.
Avantages
you can start off with one user for a low entry price like we did. unlimited requesters. by the second year we added up to 10 people, because it was easy to justify the cost for all the users with all the benefits you get with the system. was able to get started right away. customer service was able to import all the data from excel files fast and accurately.
Inconvénients
like everything accept that inventory search only searches against the part name and not the part description.so we have to enter name and description in the part name (which as least large amount of characters)

Easy, Innovative, & Managable
From the sales pitch to today, the MaintainX team has been by our side and continuously helping us use the app better and to it's fullest potential. They helped me be realistic in rolling out the features in the app slowly and we are almost to the point of using all the features.
Avantages
MaintainX has helped us to track our repairs and preventative maintenance to the point that is miles beyond where we were. We knew we had some months where we spent a lot on repairing equipment but we could never look back and see where that money was going. Being able to track our expenses down to each piece of equipment has helped with how the team stewards our equipment by leaps and bounds.
Inconvénients
Integrating and changing our processes was the most difficult thing about this. However, the support staff at MaintainX were integral in assisting with this and giving tips about improving the buy-in process of key leaders. They even hosted webinars where they were able to show our team

This is a great product
I think it's a great product and all the years ive been a mechanic and like i said before i havent used all of them . it's a lot easier to use the Navigator it has not had any glitches and issues like we had but other complete management software I'm very impressed with this product and I'll be strongly recommended

Only thing I really it takes pictures sometimes as you're doing inventory and doing the procedure of work and I don't like sometimes how you have to modified things in order for the B work correctly even with modifications and I don't like the fact that you can upload videos nothing could be cool if it would integrate like you can add your card on file so that you can keep track of expenses and also track mileage as you started work
