Great 1:1 coaching from Valentina

Avantages

Valentina guided me over 2 sessions through all the critical issues to set up my account to manage my channels, VRBO and AirBnB. Her explanations were clear and very knowledgeable about any questions that I had. It made on-board alot less stressful and the overall made me appreciate the tools much more than I expected.

Wrong Product, Poor Service and Guarantee

Customer service was helpful at the outset and made a lot of promises about functionality, so I purchased a two year contract. 10 months in my VRBO integration still wasn't set up and the booking function proved to be clunky and difficult for my customers. I was assured that I could take payment via check to avoid credit card fees of $4000/week rentals, but my customers got multiple reminders and ended up paying online in some cases costing me hundreds of dollars. When I requested cancellation after 10 months I was told the refund period was only 30 days and I am out $800. To add insult to injury, they did not shut down my account when requested and one of my guests was automatically charged via credit card, which I had to pay $88 to refund. Predatory and unresponsive company - avoid at all costs, especially for management of just a few properties.

High Cost, poor customer service with implementation and really poor customer service when exiting the platform. Confusing calendar booking for guests, and I received NO direct bookings through the website for a property that is booked 200 nights a year.

Vacation rental management made easy

Avantages

I enjoyed meeting with Aleesia for my onboarding. She was extremely helpful and answered all my questions!

Inconvénients

I do wish I had the option to change my calendar type- being in the United States, a few of my guests have been a little confused by the Monday start date if the week, but in the end, no big deal!

Happy customer!

Lodgify made a pretty daunting task so simple and straight-forward!

Avantages

Being able to manage all channels from one location and have calendars synced is exactly what I needed. The onboarding was excellent and with little effort I feel I'm 90% setup. Now to keep working through the little tweaks that [sensitive content hidden] recommended!

Avantages

Can manage all of our reservations in one spot and fairly easy to get use to.

Simple to use with all the major capabilities for a Vacation Rental Software

Over all I have been satisfied with the software and the training.

Avantages

This is user friendly and set up easy. It has everything you need when starting out. Since we are just starting I don't have to much to go on but so far so good. I have used a lot of different software and I so far like everything this has to offer.

Inconvénients

I guess the only thing which is small is I wish there was an internal notes system for each property. That way you can write notes for each property as to certain things other's working in the system may need to know.

Very Happy with Lodgify

Very Happy!

Avantages

Sales person was prompt, responsive and did a great job. Our On-Boarding Specialist was excellent! Helped import listing from another vendor (Onerooftop) and helped us understand how to set things up that needed our editing. She had good ideas to help problem solve and accomplish what we needed. We've been using Lodgify for just a few weeks but it's going very well.

Inconvénients

A few things that are different than our prior platform (Onerooftop) but Lodgify has different ways to accomplish the same thing, so once we get used to it, it should all be fine.

Onerooftop is discontinuing their platform for short-term vacation rentals, so we had to make sudden and quick change. Interviewed several vendors, settled on Lodgify and we were up and running (54 properties) within 2 weeks. LOTS of editing on our part to get all 54 properties set up correctly but we did it!

The implimentation of Lodfgify has been fairly easy. The onboarding calls are well structured and extremely useful to get what you want out of the software.[sensitive content hidden] was extremely helpful.

I wish I could add in reccuring tasks that are not related to a booking.

Lodgify Set up easy with solid support

The customer support is very good. In a short time, I was set up, integrated with the most popular channels and trained on the platform. I feel confident in utilizing the tool right from the start.

Excellent service

So far everything seems so much easier to navigate the various platforms my vacation rental is listed on. There are a few tiny teething problems with the new interface but nothing major. It’s just little things like not showing any pets that will be arriving (although I can see in the AirBnB booking that pets will be arriving with guests).I do feel that I will be able to work long term with Lodgify as both they and I improve our skills.

Avantages

The customer support (by [sensitive content hidden]) during setup was superb. I’m not great with computers and terminology so [sensitive content hidden] was fantastic in guiding me through the process. Very patient throughout, she explained everything so even I could understand what was happening. I’m sure that many other people would have no trouble navigating the setup but I needed help … and I certainly got it with [sensitive content hidden]. Highly recommended.

Inconvénients

I was offered a discount promo code from the sales dept before sign up. Unfortunately this code didn’t work at checkout and support couldn’t get it fixed so I had to pay full price.Although I was “passed up the chain”, no one got back to me before my free trial was about to run out and I was worried that I would lose all the work I’d done setting up my website … so I just signed up.At the time of writing this review I have still had no further contact with customer support.I must point out that this problem arrived during the weekend and not midweek.

Unreliable software and unprofessional staff.

I strongly advise against this company.

Avantages

The software developers tried their best. But it is the worst software I've ever used.

Inconvénients

My experience with Lodgify's software has been unpleasant and unreliable. They did not take responsibility for their mistakes and refused to offer an ethical solution. During several of my connections, they mixed up two of my listings and synced the wrong pricing. Taxes were not synced and they placed the blame on me. I reached out to their support team, who are not adequately trained in resolving issues and often referred to "upper management for solutions." Unfortunately, the final decision was that they would not take responsibility for the error in the Airbnb sync, resulting in no taxes being charged. Overall, this is a software issue and I wish I had researched the company's background before signing up. I deeply regret my decision, as it has caused me much frustration instead of saving me time. I suggest choosing another platform that is more user-friendly and provides better support during initial connections.

So far so good

It's been good. I do feel like it takes a lot of time to get used to all the features and remember where certain features are. The customer support has been fantastic.

Avantages

So far we are enjoying Lodgify - I think the customer support and working with [sensitive content hidden] has been the best part. She has been fantastic and honestly without her, I'm not sure I could have figured a lot of this stuff out. I love the channel manager, I love how easy it is to update rates and see bookings.

Inconvénients

The website design could have more options.I'd also like to see pushed notifications apply to all channels instead of just Lodgify. For example, the welcome email having to be created in two separate spaces and sending it directly from airbnb is a bit frustrating. I don't like that that aspect isn't as hands off as the direct bookings with Lodgify.

Ease of use and support

Lodgify’s onboarding process was great. My sessions with [sensitive content hidden] were super helpful in understanding they system’s capacity.

Avantages

Lodgify was so easy to set up, it feels intuitive to use. It has all the flexibility I need in a system. I also love that as I grow I have the option to change my plan.

great experience

I just got the final go ahead today so I haven't had a feel of the actual capabilities that I will hopefully enjoy as my season is just starting up. I am very thankful for how fast Lodgify helped to get me started on understanding the whole process.

Avantages

The joining of my airbnb with other ways to book was very much needed and wanted for my business. The patience and kindness I received yesterday and today from [sensitive content hidden] was amazing. I am not really that smart on computers and he put my mind at ease.

Inconvénients

The only thing I could see was that when I look on my calendar on my phone I can't tell which property is which as all called X Marks the Spot. I tried to use the internal name to identify each on my iphone but it didn't work. [sensitive content hidden] noted that he will send this in as a suggestion. Not a deal breaker at all but would be an added bonus for me.

She spent 2 hours with me in order to get everything situated and imported perfectly. I highly recommend!!

Helpful Transition Process

Avantages

I am new to using Lodgify and researched a lot of comparable companies to find the one that we thought would work best for our investment properties. I really have appreciated the ease of working with their onboarding specialists and the ease of the integration process.

Inconvénients

I am still learning how to use Lodgify for our business, my only complaint is that I am not a tech savvy when it comes to some of the integration processes so it's been a learning process.

Great and simple

The support was great. The meetings I had with [sensitive content hidden], my onboarding specialist were very helpful and tailored to my needs. [sensitive content hidden] did a great job with me! Overall it feels like lodgify is a very serious company.

Avantages

It is very simple to use and has many features that helps constantly. What I enjoy the most is the sync among all platforms and calendars.

At first the price, but I came around and found it very fair.

On boarding customer support Agent [sensitive content hidden] was amazing. He was extremely professional and patient I love that the sessions were recorded and emailed back to me. Quick responses from the IT team

Inconvénients

There were multiple technical issues and I received many "canned or automated messages from IT" .this was frustrating and reduced the positive experience. I did realize when I signed up how much work I would have to do. I think my situation might be an anomaly as i had technical challenges every step of the way. I still have some outstanding concerns regarding auto messaging to guests. Im sure your team will assist as always

Just what I looking for

It was good.

Avantages

I liked the on boarding for it would have been much harder for me to set up.

Inconvénients

It was hard to get VRBO set up. With the company being Europe and I in the US the time to a problem solved take more time. You don't get to talk support in person on the phone, you need to leave a message and it takes a bit for them to back to you.

Lodgify received me with a red carpet and did not care that I have only one property.

Inconvénients

Lodgify seems to be very expensive for the package that I am using. But, I've decided to wait and see.

Perdidos en Lodgify

Estoy solucionando el gestionar una página web de una de mis actividades.

Avantages

El poder crear una pagina web, que ésta sea interactiva, y sea fácil de manejar.

Inconvénients

Los tutoriales me salen en Inglés, es difícil pues se engancha cuando pasas a edición y se vuelve a visualización inmediatamente.No se sincroniza bien, o al menos me parece. Y es difícil encontrar el botón de llamada para ayuda.

Highly Functional Short Term Rental Management

Lodgify was awesome helping me onboard. Other than adjusting to the time difference between me and their customer service, I've had ZERO problems with their software. Some of the features of their software are the best I've seen, such as the ability to automate messages timed to a guest's check in or out. In addition, every question I've had has been answered thoroughly and with respect.

Avantages

I like that Lodgify is easy to set up -- I was able to create a new website quickly and easily when my previous supplier sold the company to a competitor that I chose not to use. The creation of the website was quick, intuitive and easy. For the most part, things are organized in a fashion that is logical and I don't have to hunt all over the place to figure things out. Lodgify offers a dashboard, so a quick glance will tell me if I have a check in or check out today, within 7 days, and list all my action within the next 30 days. SIMPLE. BEAUTIFUL.

Inconvénients

Lodgify is a European company, so customer support, although very prompt with their answers was almost always an overnight wait. I found myself flailing around in the afternoon, knowing that I couldn't really ask any questions, since it was the middle of the evening/night where they were. Weekends, ditto. Although the customer service is AWESOME, there are some issues that need to be answered quickly. Twenty-four hour turnaround time is the norm here, which is almost always just fine -- BUT there are times when I REALLY need to see an answer ASAP... just not possible here. I'm not sure if it's because of the "no one wants to work" since the pandemic, or if this is just the model they've chosen to implement.

OwnerRez was incredibly difficult to set up and even harder to get someone to talk to me. I had to set up an appointment a month out, even after I told them I would pay extra to have a consultant work with me.

Single property expanding from Airbnb

In a word, Brilliant. Speaking with the Lodgify colleague throughout the onboarding got me really excited about the possibilities and how getting this set-up would not only increase bookings, but also mean we could easily expand.

Avantages

Much of how Lodgify is configured is very similar to Airbnb which made the platform feel familiar. Also, their onboarding was really useful and [sensitive content hidden] who took me through the process was brilliant!

Inconvénients

I still need time to get to know the platform in more detail, but at first glace I believe the website builder could be better. While it is simple and straight forward, it lacks a degree of customisation. Additional features and functionality would help provide the ability to really customise each individuals website. However, as I said, I am still discovering the art of the possible so this is just my first impression.

Excellent onboarding experience

Excellent experience - [sensitive content hidden] handled my onboarding, and she was amazing! The follow-up information summary after each call was really helpful to allow me to immediately reinforce the topics covered.

Avantages

The ability to easily capture key information on the App on the go is nice for property owners and managers

Inconvénients

I would like to do a bit more on the App such as add team members

Lodgify and their operatives are there to help you grow your business and offered us very good advice about a range of very important factors.

Great setup

Avantages

I love that I was walked through the set up process, especially since I had 2 calls. I could learn a little from the first call, do a little on my own and then ask lots of questions on the second call. It was very useful!

There isn't an automatic reply for check-out instructions

Lodgify Review

Excellent! Especially working with [sensitive content hidden] made it so easy!

Avantages

Once you get familiar with it, it has some great features.[sensitive content hidden] did a great job showing me calendar management and setting up the main title page. Also the way lodgify links to other booking sites like vrbo is great!

Inconvénients

The program has a lot to it and it takes some time to learn to navigate it. But [sensitive content hidden] the guest services technician was extremely helpful and professional in assisting me in navigating through the features.

Booking engine was our main challenge as well as channel manager as reservations to be synchronized so Lodgify will benefit that all properties will line up under Lodgify at the end of day that's why i emphasize importance of supporting LITE program s will be the perfect startup for long term partnership

Most important is that you can start with no major losses on the contract you have the chance of upgrading your product facilities based on the feedback received from your ongoing start up solution with opportunity to leap ahead advancing through upgrading your product or downgrading so you feel confidently safe

Lite program should be considered the importance entry panel where 3.9% not a small amount but reasonable with condition that Lodgify may allow that we feature our own domains as will have chance to invest on marketing and promoting our selected domains where initial technical support is required at least for limited hours only in addition to payment gateway where had challenge then managed it all with the amazing support from your sales team member Manos
