The Best All in One Solution for Holiday Rental Management

Amazing

Avantages

Easy to use, amazing quality/price rating, inclusion on the beta and testing platform so that we get to try what's new before the rest and they ask us all the time what else would we need and like to have.
Customer service is excellent, any issue we send a message and we get a reply within an hour or 2 max.

Inconvénients

There's always room for improvement but there is nothing we do not like

Professional and helpful

Avantages

It is very easy to use and the safe are very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful

Inconvénients

I am yet to find any cons. I done quite a bit of research into this product so am glad I selected this product.

Just Get It!

So easy to manage all reservations from all 3 channels (VRBO, etc.) and schedule cleaning!

One stop easy access mobile platform

Avantages

The folks at Lodgify makes integrating and connecting other hosting platforms into Lodgify a breeze.They are eager and willing to guide, assist and get you started in the right direction.Being new to software like this ... as a first time user, maybe a little daunting for someone like me at first, especially when I have little available time to spend on it, but noting the fact that it was quite easy to manuver and navigate make this software a very versatile feature in channel manament and hosting.This software is invaluable ... and would recommend to other vacation rental hosters also.

Ad essere onesta, la cosa che ho amato di più del software sono state le call con [CONTENUTO SENSIBILE] che mi ha introdotto il software in maniera chiara e concisa, sempre pronto a rispondere alle mie domande e attento al lavoro che svolgevo tra una call e l'altro dandomi preziosi feedback. Quindi per quanto io stia recensendo un software, quel che mi è piaciuto è il valore umano che non è dato per scontato e che è di grande aiuto.Il software è ben fatto, c'è la possibilità di fare molte cose e se non sai come farle, l'assistenza è velocissima nel darti supporto.Ho lavorato con altri software che probabilmente facevano le stesse cose di lodgify con un prezzo maggiore ma io non lo sapevo perchè il sito era tutto in inglese e per quanto io parli fluentemente l'inglese, dovevo andare a cercare tutto quanto e studiarlo per i fatti miei. Mentre con Lodgify è il team che mette in luce, nella tua lingua madre quindi hai una maggiore comprensione del tutto, cosa può fare il sistema e sono loro a mostrartelo rendendo tutto molto intuitivo.

è stato difficile aggiungere una sezione blog, ma non impossibile.

Worst business decision I've made was getting involved with Lodgify

It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I wish I had never purchased it. This is why I am writing this review, to save others from making this same mistake.

Avantages

The idea of Lodgify is great. We were looking for a way for customers to book with us directly. In theory this works. I like that they have promo codes and a working calendar that syncs with our other channels (VRBO and Airbnb).

Inconvénients

If any problems arise it can take weeks to talk to anyone at Lodgify. You can't just call with a quick question about book keeping, customer issues, or anything. You have to schedule a call. Then pray they call when they say they will. So far they have followed through 1 out of 4 scheduled calls. I can't call them. The help line is not real. No one ever answers it. There is a message that confirms its Lodgify customer service, goes to transfer you to an agent, and then hangs up on you. This is during business hours. Soooo frustrating. The worst part is that I have invested a ton of energy and time with Lodgify and it will take a lot more to remove Lodgify from our system.

Looks fantastic but Crashes frequently and backend needs improvement

I'd really love it, even without the mobile app if they fixed the default search to allow you to set a minimum and if the website did not crash so often.

Avantages

User friendly. It looks great and, when it's working, the site is intuitive and easy for new site visitors to figure out. Searching the calendar is simple so guests can see overall availability. Having a full photo gallery is great- you are not limited with images.

Inconvénients

You can not add custom pages beyond the template that is already there. We connect it to our already existing website so we can lead people to our page that sells gift certificates etc and to our faqs. The website crashes frequently. So far we have been using the website for 8 weeks and in that time we have experienced 4 major crashes (2 on weekends when there is no tech support) that have lasted all day and prevented anyone from being able to book or see our site listings. I'd estimate this has cost us lost revenue from bookings. No small number as our website does. We have reached out to lodgify each time and though nice, they never seem to know what the problem could be and when it works again they just say "well it's working now!"...until the next system fail.

If you have a two night minimum there is no way to make the search default to two nights- it defaults to one night and if someone clicks search it just looks like you have absolutely no availability. for example if they put in July 6th as the check in date then July 7th is automatically entered as the checkout date (even if you have a two night minimum. There is no way to let the people know they have to enter in two dates on the mobile version (where most of our users come from) so many of our users just give up and think we are completely booked all the time. The only place to write that we require two nights is in the site descriptions and we have to go through a paragraph explaining that guests must search for two nights in order to see availability. This might not sound like a big deal but if it automatically defaulted to two nights then we'd see a 20% increase in bookings as people would not give up before reading the site descriptions. People might want to only pay for one night, but they would book for two if they realized there was a two night minimum.

They also lied to us when we signed up in order to get our payment and assured us that there would be a mobile app within a week of when we signed up. We let the sales agent know this was very important to us and she guaranteed it. When I contacted someone a month later asking about the status of their mobile app the person I spoke to said he had no knowledge of any mobile app and there were no plans for one and tried to tell me I had misunderstood (nope- had it in writing over an email).

La semplicità e le potenzialità, molte cose sono studiate bene ma a volte vengono tralasciate alcune basi fondamentali per la gestione.l'assistenza molto veloce e gentile.Sito Web

Spesso capita che il sito non sia reattivo e tenda a rovinare l'esperienza, capita che non mi carichi la pagina e ci metto parecchio tempo per fare una cosa quindi mi rivolgo direttamente ad Airbnb o Booking.Nella chat sarebbe necessario introdurre un traduttore automatico, grande pecca, poichè per comprendere lingue che non conosco faccio prima ad andare nuovamente su Airbnb e Booking e quindi perde di significato il Channel Manager.

Vacation Rental Website

Susan was great. Very knowledgeable in workings of this system.

Avantages

Susan was great. She walked me through the steps and answered all of my questions.

Inconvénients

The calendar isn't visually easy to look at. Would like it bigger. Also, I would like continually customer support. I hope that is possible.

Super Allround-Lösung zur Selbstvermarktung unseres Ferienhauses

Der Support hat mich bislang positiv überrascht. Dieser ist zwar an der Hotline nur auf Englisch aber dafür sehr ausdauernd und geduldig. Schriftliche Anfragen werden gerne auch in Deutsch beantwortet.
Insgesamt bin ich bislang sehr zufrieden.

Avantages

Lodgify umfasst (fast) alles, was ich mir für die Vermarktung gewünscht habe. Es vereint den Website-Baukasten, es administriert die Website-Domain, es bietet umfassende Möglichkeiten zur Verwaltung und Abrechnung von Ferienimmobilien. Ich selbst verwalte damit nur 1 Haus, allerdings lassen sich auch problemlos mehrere Immobilien anbinden.
Super einfach ist auch das Erstellen mehrsprachiger Webseiten. Auch hier gibt es noch etwas Luft nach oben, indem man z.B. die Inhalte der Webseiten auch per Auswahl übersetzen ließe. Habe ich über die STandard-Objektseien hinaus eigene Webseiten entworfen, so muß ich diese derzeit mit einem externen Übersetzungsprogramm übersetzen und in der Zielsprache per drag & drop einfügen. Die Seitenstruktur wird aber in allen Sprachen übernommen und auch die Seitentitel werden automatisch übersetzt. Das Übersetzen im Programm geht bislang nur bei den Standard-Seiten, die die unmittelbare Objektverwaltung administrieren.

Inconvénients

Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit meiner Entscheidung für Lodgify! Ich sehe in wenigen Punkten Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten, z.B.:
- die Seite zur Emailkommunikation mit den Gästen könnte übersichtlicher sein
- ich würde mir wünschen, dass der Professional-Zugang schon die Gäste-App enthält. Ich bin mir noch unsicher, ob sich der Aufpreis für die Ultimate-Version für mich lohnt
- die Kalender-Darstellung könnte farbiger oder prägnanter schwarz-weiß-grau sein, insgesamt ist Webseite "Verfügbarkeit" ausbaubar. So wäre es schick, wenn man gleich von dort ausgehend einen Zeitraum markieren und für eine Buchungsanfrage aussuchen könnte
- die Cookie-Policy im Webseite-Baukasten bedürfte eines Updates, so daß man zwischen notwendigen Cookies und Komfort-Cookies wählen kann.
Wishlist:
- 360°-Rundgänge in Verbindung mit Grundrissen anwenderfreundlich als widget im Baukasten integrieren (ich weiß es gibt schon Möglichkeiten z.B. über google)

Der Preis ist höher als bei Smoobu aber die Funktionen sind einfach umfangreicher. Insbesondere der Webseiten-Baukasten hat wesentlich mehr Individualisierungsmöglichkeiten. Das gab den Ausschlag für meine Entscheidung.

Loving Lodgify

I love Lodgify. I recently moved over my 2nd property and an 99% sure I'll onboard our 3rd property in the summer. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was a fabulous onboarding specialist.

Avantages

Lodgify is very user friendly and I love that you can do a lot yourself.

Inconvénients

Customizing the checkout page and think improving the website builder would be helpful. You can really only change things if you know how to write code.

Customer Service is not Proactive for Critical Issues

Generally positive, but the glitches we've encountered (e.g. lacking protection for "null" entries" are occasionally serious.

Avantages

The software is well (though not fully) featured and meets most of our needs at a modest price. Generally, considering the price point the software meets our expectations and needs, though with the occasional glaring problem.

The customer service is good for minor issues and correcting our (or Lodgify's) errors

Inconvénients

NO PROACTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE: The lack of a proactive customer service which reaches out to us to let us know of serious and/or critical issues. For example, we just discovered there is no means for potential guests to actually reserve any of our vacation rentals on our Lodgify website -- even though we have "Instant Booking" turned on AND have implemented their calendar search option for all properties. As a result we've received no reservations on Lodgify for the last two weeks -- highly unusual.

When we contacted them here is their answer "Unfortunately, I have to confirm that this bug has been already identified and the relevant team is now working on a fix for it. Of course, we'll let you know once there's any news on this ..." Huh??!! They knew about it and did not inform their clients.

NO TELEPHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE: Unlike many of their competitors we can only reach them by email. For the most part that is no problem -- Until there is a criticial issue.

UNUSUALLY SHORT HOURS FOR CUSTOMER SERVCIE -- NO PUBLISHED HOURS

We love Lodgify for so many reasons

We were able to setup Lodgify easily and customer service has been very helpful.

Avantages

We love Lodgify and we consider the software of our business. What we love the most, in addition that the software allow to build beautiful website, manage bookings and communications perfectly and have an excellent service, is the fact that we can integrate it with almost anything through Zapier. This allowed us to streamline our business.

Inconvénients

We need to do a lot of workaround to setup the Quebec tax system particularity. It works but it needed a lot of thinking and support help. We would like it to be integrated with RemoteLock but we will probably be able to build the integration with Zapier Webhooks.

Helpful On boarding specialist-[sensitive content hidden]

On-boarding was great, easy and had great support for the calls with specialist [sensitive content hidden] . Lodgify seems to be functional and simple to use. I'm a little disappointed with the call "help" and after onboarding experience. The Help videos can be a little confusing and really not enough step by step detail.

Easy to use and complete PMS

Overall I am pleased to work with Lodgify. I do find it expensive, but on the other hand, I also see that the product is constantly worked on with new features added regularly.

Avantages

Initially I bought this PMS because at the time it was the only one I could find that had the option of a website included. This is still an important feature to me since it saves me the hassle of having to set up my own website and making sure it stays up to date. Lodgify does it all. The PMS is easy to work with and has enough possibilities to personalise.

Inconvénients

It is not always possible to integrate with other apps or widgets. In these cases, one needs a developer or programmer to make this work. On the other hand, it also made me think of my own processes and where possible I just adapted to the circumstances. Lately, I see a lot of new possibilities to integrate with new apps.

Excellent!

It has been a great experience so far and I am excited to continue growing with Lodgify.

Avantages

The ability to build a direct booking website or even just be able to imbet a booking widget into our current site in vital for us. I'm very happy with our experience with this so far.

Inconvénients

The ical can be a bit clunky but the full syncing process seems quite complex.

Reliable Property Management Software that helps you grow your business

Lodgify has helped me set up a direct booking website, using their widgets that work on my Wordpress site. It has helped me grow beyond relying on only one channel for my bookings, to being able to sync my calendar across several channels.

Avantages

When I was comparing other Property Management Software, Lodgify offered almost everything I wanted (channel management, direct booking engine and widgets, guest communication), and nothing I didn't (management of cleanings, staff messaging).

Inconvénients

The guest messaging system could be improved. It's currently set to send messages at midnight GMT, which is 6pm in my time zone. I would prefer some flexibility on when messages are sent. Also, the default placeholder is the guest's entire name, instead of first name, which would give a more personal touch. I would like to have the ability to determine the cadence that messages go out, so a last minute booking for one night receives the messages in the correct order.

Inconvénients

Cabin numbering on calendar, should be able to drag in proper order. Goes 1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3, … because 10, 11, 11 start with a 1.

Easy to use but has major flaws

Customer support is quick at getting back to me regarding issues. The staff is friendly. The problems, however, are not necessarily getting fixed right away. I otherwise really like the dashboard and the layout of the different categories, I'm sorry my guest communication issues can't seem to get resolved. I thought it was a good software but I may start shopping around again.

The software is easy to use. I had an onboarding session which was very helpful and informative. A+ on that. I really like how one software is able to manage different platforms.

Inconvénients

Guest communication is the most annoying flaw of this software. I chose Lodgify mostly for the option to automate communications with my guests. I've been using it under a month and I'm already going back to Airbnb to send my emails as their software is better, at least for my needs. With Lodgify, I've had multiple issues (emails not sent in correct sequence, emails in wrong language, test email sent to guest, no option to use only guest's first name as a placeholder...) which really doesn't look good on me as a host, on top of other things such as my cleaning team having to create different email addresses for the different properties they provide service to when owners are different... IT support is reactive but limited in that they do not provide suitable solutions. For example, I am told to send bilingual emails to avoid the language issue (not acceptable as this is VERY impersonal - contrary to what I want to achieve), test email sent to guest issue unresolved after a few weeks, no capability to send emails at a certain time of day to avoid the wrong sequence issue... I am considering cancelling my subscription as this is causing me more work, headache and embarrassment... Not good.

I have been very impressed with the modern, user friendly interface and would recommend it to anyone with 10 or more STR properties they manage. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was who helped me through my on baording process and he was dedicated and incredibly helpful every step of the way.

Avantages

The interface is modern, user friendly and every system is very easy to integrate and utilize within Lodgify. I am super pleased with the function of the PM modules. The website builder is insanely helpful. I am so excited that reservations, guest communication, employee / PM management and our website is now a one-stop shop.

Inconvénients

I am still learning the software, but I would say having more control of how your properties are listed within the desktop, as far as having them in order when looking at the calendar.

Perfect for even a small Short-term rental!

I am a new user with Lodgify and have been a host on AirBnB so far. I love the ease of this platform with the set-up, and the customer onboarding and support has been excellent!

Avantages

I have never worked with this type of software, but the ease of set-up and integration without guidance was great! Very impressed with the different types of integration with other booking sites and products, and how easy this set-up is. I do like the seasonal rate feature and promotion to use for individual frequent guests or many other criteria to use for setting up a promotion. The best of all is the low cost compared to major BnB booking sites that take a much larger percentage points of the sales price.

Inconvénients

There are some quirks I believe should get attention, such as the ability to Archive or Delete message, or at least some type of messages from the Inbox. Alternatively the ability to tag messages and then filter or sort on these tags, will be very helpful. The currency on the payment summary sometimes default to EUR although the user started and all the pages to that point is in USD. Consider a default configuration setting for this (unless I missed it!).

Professional and Efficient

From beginning to end the process really exceeded our expectations. [sensitive content hidden] was who we dealt with as we were shopping Direct booking companies was very communicative and took the extra time to answer any and all questions that we had. [sensitive content hidden] was who did our onboarding and we really enjoyed our calls with him. He was easy to understand and the process was taken at a good pace. He adjusted his schedule to accommodate us, which was really appreciated. His follow up was fantastic and if we needed more information on anything, he was quick to get the related articles to us. We are very happy with the onboarding.

Avantages

This software was perfect for taking our current multiple avenues and pulling them all together in one place! Having the option to have direct booking is an added bonus that will increase our profits as well as be able to capture guest information for recurring promos and additional specials.

Inconvénients

At this time we do not have any cons. Just getting started with the software and everything is running smoothly and set was quick and easy.

The Most Clunky Support System Possible

I am not sure why I even need this software.
You can list your properties with VRBO and airbnb and synch them via ical.
You can buy your own web domain and pay for a hosting/website builder service.
You can then link that to Stripe for payment.
I have a couple of months more paid for, but so far I am not seeing enough of a benefit to warrant all the complications with tech and the instability of synching.

Avantages

The onboarding process was very professional and responsive. I was given tons of information in a short time, but the person helping me was nice and efficient.

Inconvénients

After the onboarding process, you are left to figure it out on your own. The phone number to support rings three times and then hangs up on you. I tried multiple times over many days. I finally was able to call sales and get them to connect me. Email support is lacking. You send them an email. For example, I had double bookings - something I was told could not happen - and so that was a bit of an emergency for me. I had no choice but to send an email. The next day I received an email letting me know they had received and would get back to me. The following day I received an email giving me a short response that did not help my issue. And then I've gone through that infuriating process over and over. When I've asked if they have any property manager support people, they have not replied. They do not. The software itself is ok but so far doesn't synch well. Also, I lost having VRBO pay taxes by adding Lodgify into the equation.

Excellent onboarding

Channel management which will allow additional channels in the future and direct booking have been simplified. Integration of our price management software was a breeze as well. The bonus of so many other software/app integration options will be explored in the coming weeks. Overall, the staff have been amazing. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] who helped with onboarding was incredible... very patient and extremely helpful.

Avantages

I was very surprised at just how much Lodgify does to manage ALL aspects of the Vacation Rental Experience from an administrators perspective. There are many additional app integrations to manage virtually everything. Lodgify has been instrumental in aiding our efforts to choose how to manage multiple sites including pricing programs such as Pricelabs and additional integrations for collecting monies, proper tax reporting and communication. We are starting the process now to integrate cleaning/turnover with an app/site to aid in this process as well. I firmly believe once we have been through a few months of integration and working out the kinks with Lodgify's help we will have a well oiled machine that is simple to manage.

Inconvénients

We haven't had a lot of use just as of yet. Our plan was to integrate and make the move to Lodgify during our slow season to give us a chance to work through any issues. We are just at the point of having all integration complete and will start using only Lodgify for payments/communications so we will likely need some additional assistance at times. So far the staff at Lodgify have been very patient and instrumental in assisting with all aspects.

Great app which has helped save time, streamline processes and heaps more...but...

Overall our experience has been very good. The support staff are very positive and know their stuff, so when the support is good, it is good. I have though had some challenging times trying to explain problems and in turn get the issue resolved. Lodgify shows a lot of promise and i look forward to seeing new innovations and improvements. Overall I still believe the user has to be quite computer literate and confident to have a go and set everything up.

Avantages

Website templates offer a good range of choice, good functionality overall, payment setup is easy.

Inconvénients

Having said the pros above, I am not sure it is particularly better than other vacation rental software out there. I did a bit of research and chose Lodgify which has so far been good. I am still hopeful for other functionality to come in including:
Main big issue for us is the Channel Manager is not comprehensive enough. I have been waiting on HomeAway for over a year but no word on this one as yet. I have my fingers crossed as it is probably second biggest player in our market.
There has been some consistent problems with connection to booking.com which hasn't been explained to me why and i probably dont need to know the exact reason, but i just want it to go smoother than it has of late.
Delay in getting answers from support team due to time difference has been a problem.
Cleaner management would be a great asset and I keep hoping this will come along as offered by other software.
Reporting is quite limited. reports to owners would be handy as some other software has.The interface with Zapier to extract data is pretty basic.
Owner setup for each property is a bit restrictive. I would like more flexibility as to what owners can or cannot do/see.
Pretty annoying that new subscribers get discount incentives to join up but loyal current subscribers dont. Look after your current subscribers the same.

Lodgify is a decent option

The onboarding process is fantastic! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was very courtesy and clearly understood the site.

Avantages

I like the ability to manage multiple rentals across multiple platforms easily.

Inconvénients

The guest messaging needs improvement. Not all the guest messages come through on VRBO and HomeAway. Also, there is a 1% fee embedded into the payment processing in addition to the booking fee. This fee is not disclosed anywhere and can not be avoided. I feel it was misleading to not disclose this fee.

Amazing Customer Support!

The customer service and onboarding has been fantastic! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is our representative and he has had several meetings with me to walk me through how to use Lodgify properly, and has given me useful advice on how to improve our listings. One of the best customer experiences that I have had with a software company!

Avantages

Lodgify is a full end-to-end property management solution for our short-term vacation rentals. We love that you can list multiple properties, automated communications with guests & owners, and the full integration with other listing sites (e.g., AirBnB, VRBO, etc). We have also been able to nicely synch up Lodgify with our own web site to keep our overall brand distinct.

Inconvénients

I would like to see cleaner full integration with AirBnb/VRBO for pictures, write-ups, etc. Rates & calendars synch up well, but the other listing aspects do not, so I need to adjust in AirBnB and Lodgify. Also, would like to see more accounting capabilities to keep full P&L/record keeping, with booking of journal entry capabilities.

Great Software

Lodgify has been great to work with. For any questions or concerns they are quick to reply and send me videos to watch to help guide me through the process of what I need to do to fix my issue. I have really appreciated [SENSITIVE CONTENT] especially. She has been super!

Avantages

After getting set up and learning what this program can do, I have loved it. It felt complicating at first but after we did our zoom meetings and they walked us through what it can do it became simple and easy to understand. It has all the features our company was looking for to accommodate multiple properties and manage all the bookings from different channels. I have been very impressed with all that it does. I highly recommend it to anyone with nightly rental properties.

Inconvénients

I wish the mobile app had more features. I still have to carry my laptop for any direct bookings so that I can create quotes for guests that are booking directly with me to save them the fees from airbnb and booking.com and such. Also, sometimes it is very difficult to get my phone to pull up the app. It says "Something went wrong." So then I have to pull out my laptop again to access anything. I do feel like the mobile app needs some help.

From Stay Here to 2023 in 3 years

Cannot say enough about how this software has helped us over the past three years increase our business every year. Adding SafelyStay allowed us to not require any security deposits and it integrates with Lodgify very well.

Avantages

Ease of use and constant upgrades in services; SafelyStay integration was key to our continued use of Lodgify software.

Sometimes FAQ or support is hard to find online but Lodgify always answers my questions via email

The widget was the main factor that we liked and it's compatitibility with squarespace

I would have liked more onboarding calls. I was with Zeevou before and they offer unlimited onboarding calls

Great team

So far, I am very pleased with our software and service and if you pay for the annual, he saves you quite a bit of money.

Avantages

I appreciate the ease of implementing and building it to suit our needs. Our on boarding team has been fabulous! It’s quite easy to manipulate and set up without help.

Inconvénients

The only con, I really have is the lack of channels integrated. We are only able to utilize Booking.com VRBO and Google vacation rentals as well as our direct website. My clients would prefer to be on as many websites as possible like the TripAdvisor homes to go apartment.com, etc.

Implementing streamline is bank breaking. Guests had very slow communication and HomeAway was actually the one we purchased initially it I decided to take the hit on the implementation fee and switch toLodgify after implementation was canceled for two weeks straight and I needed a solution immediately.

You get what you pay for..

I've learned when you have multiple properties and vacation rentals are your full time business, this software is VERY important. It's very important to having working correctly and things to be in sync with channels and you life is hell when it's not working. I'll pay whatever it takes for working software at this point.

Avantages

It works fine when it works. Problem is when it doesn't work.

Inconvénients

When it doesn't work. When a customer changes a reservation and the software doesn't make the change. So you show both dates as booked when only a single one is. Then you have multiple days wait for support, in this case 9 days and still not resolved, and in the mean time you lose a booking with an empty unit. Nothing is perfect, everything will break now and again, but this is the second instance of it directly costing me hundreds of dollars in full weekend bookings. I can't reach anyone and they don't offer any reimbursement for this sort of thing. You get what you pay for.

Lodgify Review

When I was searching for the software for our business, just like you are doing now, I did the same research and read some reviews here on this platform, and gave it a try, and to be honest, made the best decision by doing that. Because not only I got my self a great deal( subscribed for 50 properties) cost wise, at the same time I got the product that I am extremely happy about, very functional, and gives me all the tools my business needs. Within a month we had a bookable website, and channel management( airbnb, vrbo, expedia booking). It also gives you a feature of i-cal, where you can integrate your listings with the rest of the booking platforms. Wish they open USA support center for quicker replies.

Avantages

For starters it comes with free bookable website, with all the basic functions in order to be able to run rentals and business overall is a great feature they provide. Easy and detailed instructions and very quick implementation process. Also the CRM, multi channel management, owner portal, integrated SEO options to name the few, are very helpful and essential and they provide that all plus much more.

Inconvénients

We are within our 3rd month of working with this software and highly recommend to starters or anyone who runs properties on multiple channels. So far so good, and can't really find anything that I am not happy about, except for, our business is located in USA and dates are in Euro mode, but its manageable. Customer service is reachable only via email, and because of the time difference might take few hours for them to respond. They always do respond and fix everything and addressed all the issues we had so far. It is probably due to he fact that they do not have representation in USA which I recommend them to do. But has not been a huge factor for us at all.

My experience with Lodgify has been positive overall. I get a lot of Bussiness choices from...

Avantages

The software has choices such as having a calendar that tells consumers if the dates are available they are interested in. This allows them to make their plans and arrange their trip around the availability of our vacation spot. It had templates to use to initially set the site up. It also has prices for extras you may supply at an extra fee like our boat or kayak service. There is a photo gallery that allows you to get the true picture of a thousand words before your perspective clients. You can add discounts and local attractions to let future guests know they will have a full vacation experience including all the bells and whistles. You can also add in discounts that can be automatically figured into their quote. Unlike other sites, it allows you to give your phone number so coustomers can deal directly with you. You have the opportunity to have coustomers book directly or contact you at an email address. This is also something that other sites do not allow until payment and fees have been collected by their company.

Inconvénients

The main problem I have is that I am located in Texas. The company is there to walk me through any issues I have but there is a time change difference. This is better now with representation texting messages on the bottom of the screen in real time.

NOT user friendly/Best for Europeans/support overnight by email only for people in the U.S.

They advertise themselves as user friendly. They are not even close to user friendly.
There isn't an 800 support number. In fact it's all via email --overnight.
They might be great if you're in Europe. They seem not to have any interest in making their system friendly to non-Europeans.

So far I have spent an extra $7500 (U.S.) above and beyond the Lodgify fees and I still can't even get the system to let me add a credit card for an older guest. It's a nightmare if you're not a website developer.

Avantages

I like that it kind of syncs my direct booking calendar with my Vrbo calendar.

I like that I can get my guests away from all the Vrbo fees and holding of my guests money for 30 days on refunds and baloney like that.

Inconvénients

You cannot get any support during the day in the U.S. You receive only emails in the middle of the night. It's never real time so if you are not a computer nerd you will need a developer to help you.
You can not attach anything. They do NOT have the ability for you to attach anything or for your guests to say attach a photo to a review.
You can not change the reservation page for your guests to use a U.S. system. Everything goes month--then day--then year. Good luck with that and keeping your bookings straight. They refuse to add a paperclip--they aren't interested in that, they say. They refuse to add a toggle to switch to U.S. calendaring or dollars vs Euros.

AMAZING Customer Support!!

The personalized integration experience with a Lodgify expert is TOP NOTCH and KEY!! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is THE BEST!!!

Avantages

As a brand new user of Lodgify, I have initially been MOST impressed with the Customer Support!! They provide new admins with an individualized training to help set up your account, catered to your business needs. This was INVALUABLE because there were so many little "bells and whistles" that needed to be set up (1-time only) that I wouldn't have known to do without our Lodgify expert [SENSITIVE CONTENT]!! Just like anything, there's a learning curve to adjust to a new reservation management system but will be worth it as we transition to more direct bookings (vs. relying on 3rd party booking platforms)! Still lots of helpful features that I have not explored quite yet but am optimistic they will be a huge added benefit!

Truly don't have enough experience under my belt to have any constructive feedback. So far, our experience with Lodgify has been amazing!

Frustrating

Inconvénients

- the website builder offered by Lodgify is a CMS that hasnt been updated for a very very very long time. The results for websites built with Lodgify CMS is terrible, very basic UX experience, seems like a site from 10 years ago.
- They sell the system saying that you can embed the reservation system into wix. But have been trying this for over two months without success, which brings me to the next con:
- Customer support takes 48 to 72 hrs to answer, and everytime is someone different so there,s no follow up on the issues. It is very frustating having to explain to every person that opens the email at lodgify. There should be more personal support, specially for payed customers.
- No phone support at all, even for payed customers.
- No way to print ANYTHING , not even a reservation.
- No sales reporting cappabilities at all. The most you can do is download a list of reservations.

Lodgify and the on boarding process

Having used an agent and the traditional pen and paper to manage bookings for years, it was time to upgrade. Reaching out to several companies I felt that very conformable when speaking to Lodgify, they were not pushy but also were very knowledgeable and professional when answering all my questions. This just made me want to sign up and start using the platform immediately. Then after signing up the help I received was amazing, this got me up and running exactly how i wanted it to be, couldn't ask for more.

Avantages

For my needs this was a perfect solution, it covers all the needs that I was looking for and more. There were various templates to use and enough features to get your rental online, the integration was easy to setup after the on boarding sessions, without the on boarding sessions I would have not been able to accomplish everything on day 1 or not at all.

Inconvénients

Everyone is different and have different needs, for me there were no cons.

Great experience with Lodgify

Experience has been great. I really enjoyed working with Erico Garcia! He was super friendly and guided me through the whole process. He really sold me on sticking with Lodgify. Very impressed!

Horrific Customer support

Bad.

Avantages

Nothing. The key point of this software is to provide a hosted website - the hosting doesn't work and the site is offline.

Inconvénients

Horrific customer support - issues including customer reviews not working, booking calendar settings not working, and the site going offline completely with a default warning page showing site is not secure (due to Lodgify SL cert not valid). No response from Lodgify to 6+ support requests, no phone support (goes to message then cuts out) Note we have a Paid professional account. Paying for web hosting that literally doesn't work is about as bad as it gets.

Blue Moon Cottage Vacation Rental Website

I have had a wonderful experience with Lodgify. The template choice was great and I selected an awesome template that is very fitting for my Vacation Rental Home. I enjoyed building the site from the template and the periodic tweaks and updates I am able to do myself. I have had few issues or roadblocks, but every time I have had a question or needed assistance a Lodgify Rep has replied within 24 hours (depending on time change between their/your location and mine in the US). I get lots of compliments on my website and my husband and I are very grateful for Lodgify for the experience and assisting us on our website for our Maine, USA Vacation Home website.

Avantages

Lovely user friendly Template Choice; Great Reservation System; Ability to adjust, update and alter site appearance and content on my own

Inconvénients

The only issue I had was with the subheadings which we choose to appear on the home page for easy view/access to our "less than computer savvy" users who are not familiar with the drop down icon. Every time the program was updated, the view returned to the drop down bar icon. (We received a few complaints that users could not find how to access info)! We understood program design was altered to accommodate use of phones, tablets and small devices. However, after voicing my concern, our site was adjusted, file noted and now viewers can see the sub-headings on laptops and desktop computers and the drop down icon on small devices. We are very happy with the Tech support and assistance in resolving this one small issue.

Nice but room for improvement

As a young and dynamic start-up, i m hoping that people at lodgify are not only listening to customers from one ear but will actually solve the issues they encounters.
If they do, i can definitely recommend Lodgify which i find to be a clever software in many aspects.

Avantages

Lodgify is a nice software. The interface is much nicer that many others. There are many clever and well thought-off things. The customer service is quite efficient.

Inconvénients

* Major complain - No breakdown of price per day on the quote!! There is only a bulk room rate section where the amount is shown for the entire stay. You can't know how much the rate is per day unless you use your good old calculator on side. This is a total miss up and should be improve asap with a clear mention of number of day and rate per day on the quote/ bill!

* On calendars: each reservation should have a logo or a color code on side of the client name so as to identify in one glimpse where the reservation is coming from (airbnb, booking, self, etc).

*The message box is dramatically too sensitive and will erase your entire message any time you select even a word from right to left.

*The text editor for the section “direction” is disastrous which lead to an unpleasant guest experience when they receive "directions" in their automatic emails.

* The message box synchronisation with airbnb is full of bugs. It basically shows that messages have been written by guests whereas it is written by hosts or reverse, or random.

Interface needs improvement!

Allowed me to create a direct booking website, which is awesome! Lets me manage my bookings with Vrbo and reply to guests through here

Avantages

I like the direct booking website builder, the fact that it allows payments on the website, and the add-ons feature

Inconvénients

The UX/UI could be improved. I used Hospitable first, but had to switch due to the fact that they did not have a lot of the features that Lodgify offers. However, the UI of Hospitable is so much better, in terms of colors, it's pleasing to the eye, they have the most important stuff emphasized with bigger letters, and just overall it is easier to navigate. If you guys could update your interface, you would be golden!!
