unable to use label printer so system has only limited use and still have to run a manual sign...

Avantages

sign in system works well in terms of being able to register and go through health and safety briefing requirements

Inconvénients

My understanding is that the label printer has never worked since the system was purchased and installed.
I have taken over as operations manager, but would have expected that if a new system was purchased that that their would have been some form of follow up to ensure the system had been installed correctly and was fully operational. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify this but in reality it would be easier to go back to a manual system rather than have a sign in system that is only partly operational

Professional looking for a reasonable price

Avantages

The ability to easily sign in and keep track of visitors that come in to the company. It works well, the UI looks professional. The fast track and ability to easily create invitations.

Inconvénients

Only works with IPAD and not Android. The inability to scan business cards and do an OCR scan of it to extract the necessary information. The lack of ability to set certain people "away" or on "vacation" so that when guests visit they will not be able to select them.

Sine is Great!

Sine is a stand in for a function that would otherwise be accomplished with personnel or other, more expensive, more complicated software. It seems like the perfect solution to fit our needs.

Avantages

Easy to use and very accessible. We had very little trouble setting up this fully featured reception software and we get value out of it every day.

Inconvénients

There really aren't any glaring issues.

fast, comprehensive, friendly customer service. It is refreshing to colloborate with external partners where it feels positive.

Avantages

ease of use and simple dashboard interface, easy tablet/device inter connectivity creates less overhead to use. Other products were overdone, too much detail for different management/administrative groups to commonly understand and thus prohibitive to buy.

Inconvénients

No issues with the product, however implementation documentation templates to use for staff dissemination could be created. The reason is that bringing in new products that change the way people access buildings has to be seamless to get a positive cultural response. If there is nice infographic type posters and email templates then it is not relying on project managers to provide the visual impact, which ultimately affects the organisations perception of the Sine product.

A Review of Sine.

The cloud-based visitor management is ideal for smaller firms to midsize companies. It works well for an array of different types of industries, local and abroad. Visitor registration, auto-notification, badge analysis, and printing of badges is the name of the game.

Avantages

Sine has positively impacted our company sign-in and sign-out system. As far as documenting site visitors, this product is top-notch. I like that I can require every individual entering or leaving to be recorded and assure that they have access to safety training documentation. The layout is sleek and inviting. I felt it was intuitive and easily customizable as well.

Inconvénients

We have noticed that while shifting from one office to other locations, the connection with printing devices seems shaky. Also, usernames might be a better route to go down, as opposed to entering mobile numbers or email addresses for access to Sine.

Lots of potential for a tool with few real competitors

I know the app as a visitor of a company to which I went to make a presentation and I thought it was really cool, I started to investigate because of it and I found many positive things and many others to improve.

Avantages

The design of the app is very professional, both employees and occasional visitors are attracted to the interface. It avoids a lot of paperwork when it comes to receiving visits and streamlines the process for employees who come and go every day. The support is great, although they may take a while to respond, when they do they solve any problem.

Inconvénients

There are some improvements to be made, such as the fact that the logging system is not simple when there are visitors coming from the same place. But we must also bear in mind that it is something new in the segment and with the recommendations they will be able to get to have an excellent and complete app

Easy to implement, professional support and great product

Avantages

Easy to Implement, Fast and comprehensive support, Great product that satisfies all our personel movement tracking needs.

Inconvénients

Would be good if we could use the system to keep a register of who is inducted and alert us when they are out of induction.

My Review for Sine

Avantages

What I like the most about Sine is its facial recognition feature that allows the user to identify the visitors without the need of presenting valid proof of identification. I also love its geo-fencing capability to ensure that all visitors are within the vicinity of the building, ensuring their safety at the same time. Finally, it has a user-friendly interface, enabling users like me to utilize the software in its best potential.

Inconvénients

Despite its facial recognition feature, the software produces very unclear copies of photos. I have also noticed that it consumes a lot of power, draining my phone instantly when in use.

User friendly

Avantages

Frees up the receptionist time with not having to announce visitors. Reception does not need to be manned when visitors enter.

Inconvénients

Every now and then it doesn't recognize a return visitor and all details need to be entered again, frustrating for the visitor.

Great software but with one major flaw.

It was very good just unfortunately has a critical forced layout on a very important section of the sign in page that forces us to discontinue using Sine. For anyone NOT worried about the opinions of your clients or visitors then this software is great.

Avantages

Very easy to use and a very nice clean UI. The admin site is simple and versatile. Customer support while vague are very responsive and timely.

Inconvénients

AUS time finance makes it hard to communicate.

Major flaw is missing the ability to customize the new user sign info page. We are a finance company and don't want the "suggestions" for company names to be there or just remove that box all together. Companies may assume things based on what starts to be suggested in that box. Weather its a competing company name popping up or just not wanting to be tracked or have their company known in any data base or log.

Good service

Avantages

Overall satisfied. Easily managed.

Inconvénients

If it can be possible to get all check in information in case of emergency or evacuation from an ADMIN user.
Also, We have students often use the device to check in . is there way we can let them check in without
printing Badge ? Thanks

Your software allows for NO customization. One size Does NOT Fit All!!

I learned to ask more specific questions up front and not to believe that there was really a team of techs to help support the product.

Avantages

Simple to use once installed. If your requirements are very simple and you don't have an IT department, this system can be a good solution.

Inconvénients

It allows for no customization. From the perspective of a large organization with multiple offices, having a customization program is important. The standard design for your badge is very poor. Having to put up with a head icon because we choose not to take a picture of the visitor is unacceptable. The client should either be able to design his own badge or you should have support to modify the design to meet the needs of the client.

Works well for the money.

Avantages

Customer interface is sleek and represents our company well.
Online management is a nice feature for hosts and admin.

Inconvénients

The formats for the administor to create the forms aren't user friendly or clear.
System allows for only taking one picture.
Takes a long time for each visitor to sign-in.
Setting up the badge printer was not easy.

Fantastic Visitor Solution

Avantages

Customer support is top notch! Every question and concern throughout our deployment has been answered quickly and accurately.

Inconvénients

There isn't really anything not to like about this software. Some improvements on kiosks, when your guest checks in it would be nice for the notification of which kiosk they checked in at. On our campus we have 6 kiosks, guests sometimes check in at the wrong building. It would be nice to have a location which kiosk was used.

Up until recently we have had nothing but grief with the printer not working.

Avantages

It tells me when people have arrived on site. The stickers are a good idea.

Inconvénients

I still don't know what I need to do when and if the printer will next go off line.
Someone came out a week ago to fix the printer issue and I don't know what the outcome was.

Affordable Choice with Sufficient Features

Avantages

The price per month is low relative to competitors, but it offers the basic features (visitor check-in, host notifications) that we are looking for.

Inconvénients

The customization options are limited; it would have been nice to use a Zebra label printer we already had (although we were trying to run this through an Ubuntu laptop to use AirPrint). We have no one in the lobby, so it would be helpful to have some easy way to notify visitors if their host is in a meeting or busy (we could have people delegate every time they go into a meeting, but that is onerous).

Executive / Finance / General Counsel Review

Not bad. Isn't as fast as I'd like it to be in reaching my emails, consistently, in a timely manner. Working with internal IT team to see if the glitch is at our internal end.

Avantages

It sends an email to the person/s who need to receive it so we don't keep people waiting as often; and it means our receptionists can spend more time assisting those who come in and less time greeting people.

Inconvénients

I've been noticing a lag time (not always) in the time it takes the email to reach my inbox; or the fact that if I'm not looking at my computer at the time, then I don't know anyone is waiting.

From the start of installation the operation of the system has not faulted.

Wonderful Product

Sine allowed us to remove an old DOS based system we were using that was not intended for checking people in and out. Retrieving data from Sine is a lot easier, too.

Avantages

We like the ease of use for users. It is the only check-in software we found that allows us to check people in and out through the web portal/dashboard. Our use-case is a bit different than other companies who use the product, but Sine was able to work with us to make it work like we needed it to.

Inconvénients

Billing was a little difficult to get set up because of our use-case scenario. Not a huge deal, it just took a little longer to talk to the right person when initially calling support.

Staff at Sine has been very responsive when contacted and the system is intuitive

Avantages

Set-up of the system was easy.
Online dashboard to monitor visitors and no need for reception to spend time informing staff that their guest has arrived.
Both staff and guests have been impressed by the look of the sign-in system.

Inconvénients

The AD integration process was tricky and took a lot longer then expected.
We have experienced individuals profile settings have been reset around the time we were completing the AD integration e.g. delegates being deleted. The support staff have been frustrated that they have to go through the individuals account to reset the themselves as the delegate.
The other comment I have received from staff when we were testing the product was can visitor notifications be sent to all staff that are attending the meeting. At the moment they get around this by either emailing or calling the other attendees.

Sine Pro for the Facility

We are using it to sign in and keep our records for visitors, staff and contractors. We are finding that it has cut down on paper but also it does take longer. The phone app can be a bit hit and miss for some people

Avantages

I like that I can assist some people to enter the home if they are unable to use the programme

Inconvénients

If you do not have a mobile or email address then you can't use the system

i have had no issues using the SINE

Avantages

easy to use as a daily returning user, easy access to check on contractors and other team members, all information is easy to upload and the set up is great for each centre

Inconvénients

Overall there is no downside, the system does take a bit to load the information at the start, it would be great if once you started to type you number it remembered and finished for you

Sine at the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust

Very positive. Our venues are complex and operate 7 days per week. the Sine system allows our organisation to manage visitor access through multiple entry points effectively and efficiently.

Integration with the BROWZ Contractor Management Platform

. Next button on top right, gives option for visitors to skip induction and jumps straight to sign and acknowledge.
.Cannot do bulk check in for groups
.Doesn't allow multiple printers for different locations.
.Time out occurs after 1 minute of inactivity, this can't be changed.
.Returning users doesn’t get presented with choice of induction to check-in and default takes them back to last check-in section.
.If no host present in the list for a new walk in visitor, they cannot enter the host details to alert.
. Cannot change font size.
. Pictures cannot be zoomed in.
. Ability to set time limit for induction expiry so that repeat visitors can redo the test.

SinePro software

Have had a pretty good experience so far, never had any technical issues or difficulties. It is a user friendly software and very efficient.

Avantages

Its is easy to use and efficient and is not time consuming.

Inconvénients

Visitor's check-ins sometimes don't show up on the dashboard.

Sine ease of use

My experience so far has been good with hardly any need for assisting people signing in.

Avantages

How quick and easy it is for all to use. Very efficient way of marking people in and out of the College on a daily basis.

Inconvénients

Photo quality is terrible and everyone complains about it when they get their photo taken. If this could be improved I think we would be able to recognize people better from their photo also!

Great Software idea

Digital log and acknowledgment and notification of when visitors arrive.

Avantages

It allows our visitors to read and acknowledge digitally. The software is great for offices without a receptionist since I get an email to notify me when a visitor arrives. Provides a digital log of all visitors that meet our ISO standards.

Inconvénients

Requires too much information when visitors sign in. checkout options need to be expanded. For example, our employees are required to check out their guests. But the only way to check out a guest is to either know the phone number they used or their email address. There should be a list of visitors in the building and I should be able to check people out like that.

Correct, a visitor can check out with their mobile or email; or by admin/hosts via the dashboard.
We don't provision check out via name, as name can occasionally be duplicative, whereas mobiles and emails are unique.

Avantages

As a user, not quite like it to be honest and as reflected by our patron as well

Inconvénients

If patrons come to library as a family, we need to register everyone of the member, should have a family /parent registration, so we don't need to go through the registration with every child. Also contact number can only be registered for one person and can't be used for child. Even if the mum download the app for self check in and check out, the children still need staff to help check out. During busy time, long queue waiting to be checked in and out.
For some of the user, self check in is not easy to start up. They need to download the app first which not all library patrons want to download app and quite cumbersome.

Everything we needed

Having had a bad experience with another vendor we went looking for a replacement solution. Just wished I'd found Sine before the other as they had everything our business needs required and more we didn't realise we needed! I reached out to them and they gave us a fully functional trial set-up which we were able to use with our existing hardware. With memories of the previous vendor still fresh in our minds we put the Sine capabilities and support staff to the test daily and both came up trumps.

Avantages

Intuitive, slick, incredible customer support to get you up and running in no time.
We set up the devices and can let them do their thing without having to check them.

Inconvénients

Can't think of any as its been nothing but a positive experience. If I had to put something here I would say that you can't filter current check-ins by device.

Sine recommendation

Practical product and, in particular, good after sales service. The team cannot do enough to facilitate customising where possible, and also being open to specific industry development needs.

Avantages

Ease of use, and potential for wider use than originally intended.

User friendly

Accessibility and ease of use.

Avantages

The ease of use for most of our users. It is self-explanatory for our end users as well on the back end. It is user-friendly.

Inconvénients

For this to be used as a sign in for our staff, we need to have a few features fine-tuned or added.

Making our life easy

Easy to manage visitors and contractors. It saves us lot of time etc

Avantages

Easy to use and gives you all information about the operators including location of their work. We also can monitor the time spent on site for each visitor and contractor

Inconvénients

occasionally when it goes through update and we have contractors waiting to sign in. It stays out of action for sometime.

Site Management Tool

The product was well received by end users and the take up was good.
The application provided basic reporting and saved us time in managing entry to site and identifying contractors for induction and licensing checks.

Avantages

The application allows you to send messages to all users logged into the site in real time. This has lots of benefits when working across multiple floors.

Inconvénients

For some users, depending on their service provider, the application could not identify the location when they were trying to log in. We increased the geo fencing size to try and remedy this and it was reasonably successful.
The number of characters in some field where limited and this made it difficult on occasion to write full descriptions

Great system and easy to use

We have now changed our reception from being a staffed reception desk to an unstaffed reception desk whilst still retaining a positive corporate image.

Avantages

The system is extremely easy to set-up and use. Customers and clients have also commented how easy it is and the ability to sign in prior to arriving in the office is a great feature.

Inconvénients

We have received a few minor complaints regarding logging out. Can a three letter recognition be implemented similar to the host field? Also, when signing in before arrival in the office, is it possible to have a badge printed prior to their arrival in the office?

Its OK to use with regards to the cons described below

Inconvénients

The program has my default as checking into the Brady plant when I work at the Steamboat plant. It should recognize my home plant as default.
Starting last week it shows my phone number as Australia when it is USA. This I have to correct each time I log in or out.

Sine Visitor Management System

They are fairly responsive with requests, but have not been able to sort the issues with the scrolling. I feel that they need to move the NEXT button to the bottom of the screen to force people to scroll down.

Avantages

Ease of use, ease of set up and locally supported product.

Inconvénients

Difficulty with visitors being rejected because they dont scroll through and answer the questions related to COVID. This leads to frustration with the visitor and delays when they arrive for meetings.

Great Sign in software

Avantages

The end user interface is very easy to use, to this the admin portal is also straight forward. I do not usually hear any issues from our staff that the system is not working. It pretty much just works with minimal setup.

Inconvénients

None to speak of really. I honesty do not have anything bad to say.

Satisfied with Sine

A great system - love the app. It would be good if there was a management app which could be installed on an office phone at all times and showed who is signed in during an emergency. I know the dashboard offers this - but an app would make it easier.

Great support

I recently discovered a bug which the dev team was not aware of. Of course I did not know it's a bug when I asked for support. The support team was really fast, they implemented a temp workaround, I still don't know if the bug is crushed but the overall experience was of top level!

Great support and easy to setup.

Progressed our company beyond the current written sign-in process. Saved the company money and provided a more efficient process which is easily combined with our data systems.

Avantages

The app provides excellent customization and functionality with branding and workflows. It is fully capable of replacing our current written sign-in process.

Inconvénients

Unable to send automated responses to externals emails after a user completes certain workflows. (an external email is sent to our IT team after a visitor selects "No" on a Yes/No question).
Unable to rename or remove certain boxes in the template. For example, renaming the "Next Visitor" button to "Finished".
