Positive and gaining sign in compliance
The ability to audit who is coming on campus and how often. This means we can capture people who might not have completed the correct inductions or provided correct paperwork in regards to Contractors.
Avantages
We are now able to record who is on campus at all times, which is important under Student Protection Guidelines. Can print emergency lists and conduct audits as per requirements to monitor who has been on campus. Those that are being visited are notified by email the person has signed in - just in case the Receptionist is busy and cant call them straight away.
Inconvénients
Would be great to have more formatting options - mainly for aesthetic purposes. This is so the WHS instructions are clearly laid out for contractors signing in.

Sine Review
Good, however sometimes it's not very smart, for example I signed in locally at the site only to have the phone app prompt me to sign in, if ignored it just keeps reminding you although one is already signed in.
Avantages
Ease of access either locally or through App
Inconvénients
Glitchy, not always allocating personnel correctly - for example as base building contractor will sine in but is forced to use the tenant profile instead as the base building keeps sending error codes. However it works well for staff.

This system makes it easier for me to keep track of what customers I have onsite, what time they have arrived and when they have left,
Inconvénients
This is not so much what I like least but what i think should be available and that just as we have a employees register we should have a designated company list to select from when they attend site which confirms they are working for a registered company to our business.
For example if the company is Man Roland - some will sign in they are from MAN some will sign in they are from Man Roland and another might sign in as MRA

Site Review
It has benefits for site uploads checking site attendances and referencing.
Avantages
The product is easy to use. it interfaces well with my laptop. Plus having the visitor feature makes it easy to track who is on site.
Inconvénients
It does not interface with Aconex or Hammertech

Fantastic System
Since using SINE the system has had many new features which have added to the benefits of using such a great system. The support is always quick and solved without any issues. I highly recommend this system and company.

Signing on with Sine
From the initial meeting, it has been a real pleasure to deal with Antony, Michael and the team at Sine. They have assisted us with adapting the software to the needs of the school. Thanks guys.

Feedback from the people who are signing in is that it is very easy to use.
Inconvénients
Nothing at this stage for turning off notifications to people who go on leave. We have put in the request to have this feature looked at in the future.

We implemented this as part of our ISO 9001 certification and it is very easy to use!
satisfied our ISO 9001 requirement for informing our visitors of our environmental and quality policies; allows us to capture their agreement to follow our policy as well as providing us a record of our visitors over time. the bonus is that we have an email sent to the person that is expecting the visitor and this makes the process go from good to great

We like the fact that we could configure an email to notify when your visitor arrived. Also the visitors find it very easy to use, and we are able to track and record our visitors to satisfy our ISO9001 requirements
Inconvénients
I have not had the ability to understand how the reporting works for reviewing historical data, so I do not know how I will like it.

Great for a basic experience
Digitisation and better security over a traditional paper sign-in book
Avantages
Automatically uploading information through the API easily ensures that staff information is kept up-to-date and synchronised with other data sources (such as an LDAP Directory). The simple interface is also easy for visitors of all backgrounds to use.
Inconvénients
It's quite limited or restricted in terms of customisation making it difficult to use as a replacement for a human receptionist. For example, adding buttons to the idle screen for walk-in visitors such as job seekers, or customising email notifications to CC a team as well as send to the host simply aren't possible.

Great tool to track visitors coming in and out of the office
Easy tracking of activity in office.
Avantages
The software is easy to use for guests. The customization that is available on questions is great for our center as things change and we need to make those changes. Most importantly all changes made are in real time, there is not waiting for an update.
Inconvénients
Editing responses, I would like to be able to edit a response once it has been entered. Sometimes guests click on the incorrect answer and we need to make a change. Deleting a guest if they choose not to go through with the appointment or to start all over.

Before going into the trial, I hypothesized we would need the enterprise package but afterwards it clearly showed that we didn't need that many sign-ins. I appreciated the transparency and I'm glad I wasn't convinced to buy something we didn't need.
Inconvénients
Terms of use have some questionable wording regarding security. Lawyers are hard at work.

Sine
Having a visually appealing, inviting platform to welcome visitors has made our rates of collecting accurate and complete information increase tremendously. Information is much more manageable, easy to save, and tracking visits is much simpler.
Avantages
Sine is very user-friendly and facilitates easy check in for both clients and staff. The graphics are very professional and welcoming, and it's helpful that the platform is accessible on tablets, iOs, etc.
Inconvénients
We occasionally run into reboot issues, and problems saving information if there's too much time taken.

One of the best systems I have used in 9 years.
I love the invitations part of the system. We often need to prebook a lot of people at all different times of the day. I also like the option where I can text people requesting they return the access pass when they have forgotten to return

The support from the Help Desk has been disappointing. No follow up call was made to us as...

Efficient and easy to operate. Gives us an accurate measure of who has signed in and departed the building. The ability to sign in with the app is a good feature, especially for our regular visitors.
Inconvénients
Limitations with the mobile phone field. If the visitor has no mobile, sign in cannot proceed. An option to skip this field would be useful

We have had a lot of positive feedback from both our staff and visitors. We would like a more customisable label (size in particular), and potentially the ability to change where its say (optional) on mobile number to something else ( we want people to use their mobile number by not making it optional, but if its required you cant use the same number for multiple visitors.)

When we initially launched Sine for the shopping centre I had a few questions out of hours and used the online chat support and found it efficient and helpful with appropriate follow up. Excellent customer service is always appreciated.
Inconvénients
I'm still finding the best way to be alerted of contractors on site without logging in throughout the day to continually check if someone has signed in on their mobile. I have been used to a more manual system that ensures you see the person and are aware they are on site.

Sine Review
We just officially signed up for Sine. Very nice software for our un-staffed lobby. Visitors are able to "SINE IN" and the appropriate staff are notified and can come to greet them in a timely fashion. We haven't had time to work with the calendar integration features yet or the geo-fencing, but the Sine staff has been great with their customer service.

Some features could be more robust. For example, the ability to notify more than one person on arrive when you may have a meeting with multiple hosts.

The Sine software is a great visitor management system. It has a lot of features that can make front of house operations run efficiently. It is a great tool to track and manage what is happening at the front desk and there are many reports that can be done to provide important insights into operations. I get a lot of positive commentary from visitors when they are signing in and they say that it is one of the better systems that they have ever used. I find that the customer service has exceeded all of my expectations. Antony, Michael and Fiona work tirelessly to troubleshoot with me in the rare event I have an issue. Being able to use Sine has made my job significantly easier and I am able to provide more efficient service to my guests. I don't know how I survived without Sine but now that I have it, I could never be without it. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a unique, amazing and practical front desk operation.

The software is fairly easy to follow and looks good. The phone app and mobility of the system is great and is generally being taken on board well.

Lack of support with a problem. (not recognising returning users)
It says it can link to Cm3 yet I haven't seen or been explained any functionality amongst the two systems (e.g. recognising inducted persons trying to enter site

Great service and exceptional product!
Great, no complaints at all. Cons listed are well known as being outside the scope of the existing program. I'll be looking forward to any further expansions or updates that would widen the utility of this program. Loving it!

A simple to use alternative to your old visitor book
Sine is allowing our organisation to replace it's traditional visitor sign in book with a system that not only records who has come and gone and when, but who they're here to see, photo ID and contact details. On top of that, it allows for us to quickly report the history of visitors to see trends between different sites. Also great to see an Australian based product competing with the many international offerings.
Avantages
It's simple layout on the ipad and different options for repeat visitors makes Sine a great choice for your visitor check in system. It's setup process was simple and could be customized to suit our organisations requirements with various types of visitors at different locations. The ability for staff to be notified through the Sine app was also a welcome feature.
Inconvénients
Not being able to setup a landline phone notification was something that would appeal to some users without work mobile phones and who may not check their email regularly.

Ease of use and setup. friendly graphic design and overall simplicity.
Inconvénients
We wanted to use this for truck drivers login when coming to loading or unloading. There is limited functionality in terms of adding or removing additional fields. In our example also name and surname should be optional or removable. Under one licence you should be able to set up two different functionalities one for guests and contractors and another for drivers. It would be great if you could add additional scanning functionality so that we could track besides arrival and departure time also start of loading or unloading and also finish. With that we could analyse our performance as well.

A great use of a cloud platform
Avantages
It is a cloud platform. Changes are automatically updated to the ipads when needed.
The interface is so easy to understand that a beginner needs no training to understand the administrative side of Sine.
Inconvénients
The buttons on the sign on screen are not clear enough for our older visitors.

Easy and simple
Avantages
Ease of checking guests in and returning users.
Running reports easily to account for guests onsite.
Inconvénients
There is no scan option for check out, on the machine and on the ticket which prints out - Not sure if this is an extra feature.
Having two Ipad's (Sine systems) connected wirelessly to the one printer - If both machines are being checked in at the same time, only one of the badges will print out. Not sure whether this is a connectivity issue or something that Sine can rectify.

Good experience with Sine
Overall good. Sine has quite simple interface (both admin and ipad app) for us to start with. Impressively quick response customer support. Especially after the recent update we find the login submission becomes faster.

Great to see you noticed some immediate improvements since upgrading to Sine Pro.
Also glad you've enjoyed the simplicity of our interface as well as excellent customer service.
For fast check in of your important customers, you can always use the 'Invitations' module of our software. This will prepopulate the VIP guests in the system where you front of house/concierge teams can sign them in quickly via our web check-in interface. Badges of these guests can also be pre-printed.

It notifies the host they are here.
Avantages
You can see the history of people who have signed in and people can check in quicker if they have signed in before.
Inconvénients
doesn't always print out the labels, and doesn't always remember previous people checked in. Still unsure of how to bulk add people on for large events.
