The launch of Sine in our office has been very easy with minimal disturbance to daily...

Avantages

Sine is very configurable to business needs with ongoing updates to functionality. Updates to the kiosk are very simple and automatically update when saved which is a great feature. Ongoing support and live chat has been prompt and a wonderful experience overall. The Sine team have shown great interest in solving any minor bump in the road.

Inconvénients

Some features are not yet available which causes some confusion amongst hosts. This is mainly on the iPhone app notifications only being issued when the app is open in the background.

Very well thought out product!

The team at Sine are top notch! The product is brilliant and backed up by talented and friendly staff across the business! I will definitely recommend Sine to my peers.

Restrictive

Integration is good and contractor management is simple.

Avantages

It was easily deployed and easily integrated.

Inconvénients

We are finding that customising the product to meet our needs is restrictive. For example we cannot make the inputting an email address compulsory when making a booking. if we could we could ensure the visitor receives a fast track code to use on arrival.

Simple & Effective

We've had a very positive experience with the service. We can now do time keeping for contractors, by allowing to email them on check in and check out we can see the hours they worked while here. It provides a quick and simple means of checking regular visitors in and out. We couldn't really be happier with the experience from start to finish.

Avantages

Ease of use, ease of installation, flexibility of the software, clean UI, feature rich, automatic printing, automatic check out

Inconvénients

Lack of multimedia support, e.g. audio or video playing.

Overall an easy to use system with some clever features.

Avantages

Pros to this software are that it is easy to use and has some great features to track visitors pre-organise visitor passes. The broadcast feature can be very useful, and if you are using visitor passes you can message the guest to advise that they have not returned their card.

Inconvénients

It seems after a if you don't operate the software after a while it "times out" and you have to refresh the page before doing anything else. (this being if you are using it from a web page)

First experience with Sine

Hi, This is my first experience with Sine. I am a Building Operations Manager at a commercial property and this is what I have found so far (after 6 weeks):
*The contractors have taken to the system OK
*Currently you can move from screen to screen without finishing all the options, it would be good to have them answer all questions before moving to the next screen
*I don't get an email that they have signed out
*I don't get an email for a failed sign in
I haven't tried the app yet and haven't needed the support yet

SinePro is good, except for the first time you enter your details, that can be a tad time...

I don't have to keep a paper trail of all the guests that visit the site, now all the information is in one place and is easy to filter through :)

Avantages

That it takes a picture and then prints it off as a sticker, that it remembers your details and doesn't need to take a second photo when you are returning to a site

Inconvénients

the amount of details you have to enter the first time you visit a sight. And that there is no group check in option

Great product, Great service, Great price. How can you go wrong?

Avantages

The guys at Sine allowed me to use a fully functional free trial and then when I was ready to purchase they moved all my work onto a clean live site. The live support is great...I'm in the management portal and if I have a question, I can see who's online ready to immediately help me.
The Sine product has been a very economical solution to our visitor management problems providing dynamic logic to a range of complex scenarios. The reception staff love it!

Inconvénients

Some of the clever features dont apply across the board; such as permanently nominating a default host based on the visitor type.

Simply excellent

As the only receptionist in the office I am now able to move about the office and work closer with my team, because Sine notifies our staff when they have a visitor, so I don't have to be there just in case a visitor comes to notify our staff.
If I'm working in a different part of the building or in a meeting I can have someone else be pinged to sign for deliveries.

Avantages

Clean and simple interface, which is customisable.

Inconvénients

The fact I can't submit this survey without filling in this box with more than the word "Nothing".

SINE for Check In & NDA

-Customer support is amazing. SINE team members are always prompt in answering chats (by computer & phone).
-Follow up with unresolved issues is equally as amazing.

Avantages

-User interface is straightforward and easy. Visitors need minimal to no assistance if someone is not in our lobby to assist/check in with.
-Hosts receive immediate notifications by text/email.
-The ability to search a past visitor and easily locate their phone number & email address.
-Paperless records of signed Non Disclosure Agreements & Visitor Policies.

Inconvénients

- Camera image/countdown. 3 seconds sometimes is not long enough for user's. Image gets cut off or they are not ready for the picture.

Lendlease Kingsgate

Overall our experience has been fantastic, there were some minor lag issues with SINE however the upgrade to SINEPRO has fixed that.

Avantages

Simplicity, it does the job and it's easy to navigate and find what you looking for.

Inconvénients

Few times we have look to disable the mandatory mobile field to register large groups however the site does not save the changes.

The product is easy to use, and has made my day to work life easier by far.

The system makes it nice and easy to know who's attending the building, even if I'm not onsite. I would like to see the system inform me if a contractor was away from the building by a given distance, as this will ensure accuracy of the time any person is physically at the building. It would also be good, if a contractor was to forget to sign out, that again they would receive a text informing them that they need to return and sign out, again at a set distance away from the building. Overall, I will be pushing to have this installed in my other buildings.

We're happy you've noticed the benefits of Sine, Andy, particularly in unmanned properties where visitor and contractor safety is still of the utmost importance.
Regarding sign out functionality; we can set an elapsed time or auto expiry of visitor passes if you require. Also if your guests sign in using location services on the smartphone app and then drive outside your site's geofence radius, they will be alerted to sign out using the smartphone too.

The best "Sine" in solution

Before I signed up for Sine, I tried about 10 different products on the market. They were too simple, too clunky or just didn't work. When I discovered Sine, I didn't just discover a solution that was right for our business - we established a relationship with Sine.

Sine has provided us with flexible software to manage our visitors and contractors from a convenient and cost effective cloud based application. Management have the ability to view history of check in and check out history. We love that Sine can also provide all hardware and label supplies from their store.

The Sine staff are very supportive and are always releasing new features. If you aren't using Sine, I encourage you to check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent - Our organisation loves it!

Avantages

Really easy to use for our visiting guests - sign in process allowing instant messaging directly to our staff to ensure they are aware of their guest waiting for them (text and email both really well received by staff).
The ability to communicate emergency information to all check-in guests at any given time
Visitor tracking and reporting

Inconvénients

I found the system tricky to navigate as an administrator from the back end - Hoping this improves as we continue to use the system.

A good user-friendly product

Avantages

Ability to change what appears on the display pretty easily. Quick and user friendly. Customisable with our school's images etc.

Inconvénients

We are unable to see a running total of the number of people currently checked in on the display screen. This would help us as we have different organisations who use the same building and need to communicate who is last to leave - whether or not to alarm the building on departure etc.

Need improvements

Avantages

No software glitches. Runs smoothly. Display is presentable.

Inconvénients

Reports are not customizable, which is not good thing at all. There is no function for inserting notes, independently. It can be done only for entries made.

It can not be used on windows as KIOSK, which will be highly desirable function for any company.

It does not update on phone when you sign-in from IPAD and vice versa.

Overall a good system

Overall it has been a positive experience. The system generally works well with only a few minor challenges. Video conferencing support has been great; however, face to face support is lacking. I would recommend the system. QR Code posters are great for Contractor login, as they can login at various locations on site easily.

Avantages

QR Code sign in for existing users; Organisational branding; easy to use administration function.

Inconvénients

Lack of face to face support; challenges with need to upgrade printers after only a few years of use.

Excellent apart from requiring in person support and weekly disconnection issues

Hoping to ensure a more efficient and innovative sign in process. A system that complies with any safety issue we may have e.g. fire within that area and still being able to access evacuation list.

Avantages

Visually friendly and easy to use aside from the scanning QR codes this does not work on ours. The overall system view is helpful but would be great to setup sites individually once running well so that they make take ownership of their account and reduce notifications to master user.

Inconvénients

customer support is via all links - would prefer on phone support not constant links being sent, along with FAQ's printable help guides for each side to minimize issues

This is a must try if you are looking for a Visitor Management solution!

I tested all of the major and minor applications that fit our requirements. Sine Pro was able to meet our requirements and at a cost that could not be beat. If you are in the market for a visitor management system you owe it to yourself to take a look at their product. It is really that good!

Avantages

The ability to customize the software. The integration capabilities. The ease of use from a visitor standpoint.

Inconvénients

Data is stored in Amazon Cloud in Australia. This could be a tipping point for customers in Europe or with strict data storage regulations.

Good system but poor technical support that I was able to fix it by my self.

Avoid issuing ID pass and ask them to log their names and company info.

Avantages

I helps the visitor to contact the person immediately via e-mail without contacting them over the phone.

Inconvénients

Some of the features are not available like to skip the person whom they want to see and automatically send them the e-mail. For example, if the visitor is for job application, it will automatically send an e-mail to HR.

World Square

The Sine system has been of great benefit to the Operations team at World Square, we now know who is coming on site and what work they are doing, this is extremely helpful when managing contractors

sometimes the app freezes causing us to reboot the iPad

We love it.

I am the former receptionist. Sine allows me to concentrate on my new job instead of greeting everyone that knocks at the door.

Avantages

Sine is very efficient. With notifications going to the recipient, a duplicate to myself as well as our mobile phones, there is less chance of a visitor being left unattended in the lobby. Recipients are notified directly therefore others do not have their work disrupted to answer a doorbell.

Inconvénients

Sometimes Sine does not notify me by my cell.

When checking out almost all visitors not familiar with virtual reception will try to scan the QR code on the screen projecting their image instead of the camera

Sine Pro has been easy to use, helps the visitor to contact the person immediately via...

Avantages

Customer support representative has been great to deal with help to fix a few printing issues and do a system upgrade that was required. Receiving emails when there are printing issues is a great addition to the updates that happened recently

Inconvénients

don't really have any issues with Sine Pro, the only negative I can think of is that sometimes guests are cancelling the printing after the host name has been entered, therefore not printing a sticker

Dubbo & Orange Experience

Dubbo IPad has caused immense frustration to the admin staff & contractors, since installation, as it continually kicks the user back to a login page - Constant contact with Sine trying to rectify. A solution may have been found as it has worked correctly for 4 working days in a row.
Orange IPad had 1 instance of kicking the user back to the login page after 1 week of usage, but no further instances since then.

Easy When it works

Avantages

Straight forward and very easy to use. Modern and nifty. The product is fantastic when it is working.

Inconvénients

Printing issues and connectivity with printers were a daily problem. Not so much in the last week. App does freeze 2-3 times daily and does need to be closed and relaunched.

Most likely your app freeze is due to an update required. We will contact your site administrator to ensure you've got the latest version of SinePoint Pro, and this should resolve some of the printing and other glitches you've experienced.

Good BUT

Avantages

Makes signing it very easy and smooth so you can look back at what people are signing it and makes contacting the person to see very easy.

Inconvénients

But it crashes a lot, visitor and staff aren't easily differentiated so sometimes the staff of other companies put staff when it's not our staff and makes it confusing. UI isn't easy for technophobes or elderly, the wait time is too short before it restarts etc

Easy sign in system

We don't have a receptionist so this replaces that need and lets people sign in.

Avantages

Ease of access to sign in, ease for deliveries to be sent through for communication, application on Ipad is fairly easy to use.

Inconvénients

Haven't tested out more options but will look into adding in more people for backup if needed (as comms are sent via SMS).

Powerful and easy to use visitor's system!

Avantages

This visitor software has the following great features: user-friendly interface; email/sms host notifications; convenient guest check-in/out process; easy multisite implementation; support foreign languages interface on the fly; mobile app for visitors; run on an affordable hardware platform.

Inconvénients

You have to use predefined visitor's pass templates. They have the limited customization abilities.

This software is spreading like wildfire

The software has been very popular with other sites asking us for the details, so they can install it.

Avantages

Cleans up the reception desk and makes recording visitors easier

Inconvénients

I haven't found any issues. People just need to be aware, the first login takes the longest.

Visitor management system

Implementation of a VMS has been easy and great for our business. Staff are accepting of the change and embracing the system. Some have gone over and above to get the app and think of ways they can exploit the system for their own departments. We look to expand the VMS into other areas of the business. This project was a success because the system is easy to setup and install. The front end is simple and flows staff through the requirements to enter our site. I'm so glad we chose Sine for our system.

The sine system has given us a very professional visitor onboarding solution.

quick onboarding of visitors and history.

Avantages

simple to use, notifications of arrival to email and sms work great. a great user experience and engagement.

Inconvénients

more visitor type options required i..e delegate and going to one host. more dedicated keys like delivery and catering to specified hosts. more customisation required. and we can't delete data if we have GDPR request for right to be forgotten.

Review

Good overall but difficult when it comes to older people trying to use it.

Takes away the paper based form and so less work verifying and achieving paper.

Hard to use for older people so they struggle and feel bad asking for help on how to use it.

It was quick and easy to setup. The starter package came with everything we needed.

Signing into sites are much more easier now and the form can be accessed by multiple people on or offsite to make sure information is correct.

Avantages

Customisable to what the site requires. The web interface is easy to use and access. Label printing and/or virtual passes are great to use as well.

Inconvénients

One thing is it can't be displayed in portrait mode. Other issues would be labels cannot be customised.

Cheers Stepahno for the positive feedback. Great to see things working well for you. SinePoint Pro can be used in portrait mode very easily, just adjust the positioning of the iPad and it'll automatically rotate. We do however recommend using SinePoint Pro in landscape mode.

I am still not connected to the ipad sign in and have to input manually every key given out...

Avantages

Quick and tidy check in and check out - You can actually read any mobile phone numbers when looking for Contractors

Inconvénients

Only one of 2 computers on Front Desk is connected- started using this system beginning of September

Only been using Sine for short time - however seems good. Visitors find check in process too...

Visitors can check themselves in and out

Avantages

That return visitors are able to fast track check in, able to view who has checked out on report, able to establish how many staff visitors versus non-staff visitors

Inconvénients

The Screen turns itself off intermittently and the printer had an issue today with message advising "wrong labels" in printer. Fixed the issue with a test print.

good. i have tested a few before committing to Sine and i really like this app for our...

Avantages

we have been able to remove the dedicated reception role. the app is inviting and guests have no trouble using it

Inconvénients

it sometimes freezes and we have to close it to reset
would be better if it integrated with other software like Skype to receive notifications
hosts should not have to sign in and make an account to get notifications, they should just be available to be added to a list

Very helpful from the start, prompt to answer any questions.

More uptake and visibility of contractors onsite, when they sign in and out.

Avantages

Very easy to setup and fairly intuitive. Found it to be very easy to migrate from previous contractor system with good take up.

Inconvénients

Reporting very limited, needs more work. The system would benefit from a wireless or Bluetooth scanner so that the QR codes on keys can be scanned via the iPad.

Good system, easy user interface for guests

Avantages

Flexibility, stability and ease of use. Our users, both guests and internal hosts have been able to use the system with little training required.

Inconvénients

Not being able to customize fonts and sizes on the guest label, or influence label design manually. We need the ability to manipulate certain aspects that are not currently available.

Induction Process Simplified

The system has reduced the amount of time we spend inducting/briefing staff.

Avantages

The programme is simple to set up and easy to manage.

Inconvénients

There are no Cons with this software. The only problem I have had is staff attitudes to accepting something new. Once they have used it a couple of times they realise how much simpler the induction process attendance sign on/off is and attitudes change.

Sine Review

Avantages

It can track guests without paperwork.

Inconvénients

It's a little pricey and we would've chosen its competitor if only the competitor was not super expensive. Also, it only works on iPads which is an additional added cost.

Seems to be user friendly with few complaints from users

Avantages

User use simplicity, and the real time advice of persons attending site. Photo identification is also a helpful tool.

Inconvénients

The option or likely hood of the person signing in as the wrong type of contractor/visitor seems to be a concern and an easily done option that needs to be screened.

As outlined need to be able to manipulate the Geo Fence
Auto acceptance of Sign In would be an advantage

Allows us to track who is on site and who has left the site area.

Inconvénients

Can not manipulate the Geo Fence to contain the work site areas. With the rail network we need to able to change the Geo Fence perimeter to align with the rail network corridor.
