Best Product on the Market

Instant notifications of visitors arriving means less admin times following up staff whereabouts.

Avantages

The software is very simplistic and always works, it makes your organisation look professional and allows instant notifications to your hosts when visitors arrive both with email and SMS alerts.

Inconvénients

No auto tracking of printing for replenishment of labels. Software should know how many labels it is using and re-order automatically

Atira Student Living

I like being notified when someone signs in. Need an option for no key required. Would like if it didn't save the last key someone had signed out , should be empty each time

Avantages

Easy to navigate through the different options

Inconvénients

It doesn't mimic the information from signing in to signing out EG: if a contractor signs out a key it doesn't show in the sign out section which key the should be returning.

No need to download on your phone

It does it's job, to be fair. But we don't necessarily need it.

Avantages

Handy...IF facility provided equipment is not working.

Best ePractise Ever!

I have been using this now for about 4 weeks. It was especially timely because of a new process we have commenced at our office to sign in staff attending our new Induction Program. So far there has been minimal issues and everyone is more than happy to sign into their respective training sessions which I have hosted on the program - I am very very happy.

Avantages

Ease of access and especially for returning staff to just check-in using a mobile number.

fast and flash looking but needs more flexibility

We can have an unmanned reception as the system now alerts people to visitors and deliveries.

Avantages

Its fast and looks impressive and very modern. It appears to be easy to navigate by people who have never used the system before.

Inconvénients

I cannot get anything changed or implemented as I have been advised that its not a function that has been implemented.

Sine has been one of the easiest process change introductions I have done.

Replaced antiquated paper sign in/out process, contractor management and monitoring.

Avantages

Ease of use, different sign in options, contractor acceptance and take-up, support, quality of hardware.

Inconvénients

Nothing really, but if you could integrate the other contractor management functions into the software, site induction, etc into the software it will tick all the boxes.

Seamless visitor check-in solution

In these current Covid times, Sine has been very helpful for our organisation with tracking visitors to the premise. The end user experience is pivotal with this solution. No complaints so far!

Avantages

We have been using Sine as a visitor management system across our three office locations from the past 6 months. As an end-user, the solution provides an easy to use and intuitive user experience. Basic functionality of letting new users check in, notification to host of visitor and issue of a badge. The ability for previous visitors to log in using facial recognition is pretty great.

Inconvénients

Having switched from a very manual paper based solution we are very happy with the efficiencies that are offered by this system. No user issues so far.

just what was needed

This has been a significant improvement to our visitor sign-in process. It is tidy and provides a smooth first-step when a visitor arrives.

Avantages

- easy access by various levels of back end support
- intuitive interface for visitors
- choice of notification procedures; email or sms

Inconvénients

connectivity to printers can sometimes be problematic but we have worked this out satisfactorily

Sine @ Cituy of Launceston

We have now been using Sine for about 6 months. We are only using it for contractor sign-in. As a local government organisation I don't see us using it to any extent for visitors, couriers etc.
It has proven very easy to use for staff and contractors have adapted to it well. There have been a few points of functionality that we would like to see changes or enhancement to. These have been forwarded to the team at Sine and they have been recieved graciously and I believe some changes may have already occured that address comments made. Good product getting better all the time!

Easy to setup and operate. Feedback is very positive.

We've done away with the old messy sign in book. Instant notification that guest\visitors have arrived.

Avantages

I like the ease of setting up and administrating. The app and portal are simple to use. Visitors are surprised by it (like it) and both staff and visitors provide positive feedback. Staff love that they get an SMS when guests arrive and check in.

Inconvénients

We had some issues getting the printer on our wifi, but that was not a SINE product problem. Once that was sorted out connecting to the printer was simple.

Great system

Good system for sign in & sign out on construction site

Easy to use system which is great for contractors on site

Inconvénients

Only issue i found is that you should be able to open the app and it automatically sign you in or out. I found when using GPS all the time my battery was drained to quickly

Contractor management

the system allows for contact traceability and with the H&S section it allows us to use it as an induction to the site

easy to setup, easy to use. the photo recognition is the best idea, it make signing very quick and easy

The system suits us perfectly

Avantages

Clear indication of visitors on site and contact details for emergencies

Inconvénients

When you scroll to select the person you are seeing, sometimes you select the wrong people. There is no acknowledgement of the person you choose, so the wrong person gets the notification. Normally the persons that is early in the alphabet.

Pretty Good, but lacked the customization we needed

Avantages

The price, and it was great to get texts and emails when visitors arrived.

Inconvénients

We switched software after a year because SINE lacked the customization we needed for our unique clients and needs. I still gave it 4 stars because most systems that I've found in this price range could not do exactly what we needed!

Excellent support from the Sine team

It saves having to keep paper records and it means that visitors can view the necessary health and safety documents when they sign in.

Avantages

You have an electronic record of all your visitors and they are able to view health and safety documents when they sign in.

Inconvénients

It is annoying when it occasionally crashes. Visitors sometimes complain that sign in takes too long the first time they sign in.

Very good system

Avantages

We don't have a receptionist so our visitors can contact the employee they are coming directly to let them know they're here, rather than using the doorbell which can be distracting to the rest of the team.

Inconvénients

There sometimes can be a delay between the visitor checking in and the team member receiving or noticing the text or email.

Keeps all information in one spot. Is user friendly. Helps keep track of movement of contractors on site

Inconvénients

If wifi is down it is reliant on sim, be good if it could be hooked up via network cable. It would be good if the system could be integrated with our staff myfare card for ease of a tap in tap out check in process

Customer service outstanding

easy, smooth, pleasant

Avantages

Apart from it does all we need, the customer service is amazing, they are always on hand and help, very knowledgably

Inconvénients

cant change the email notification when a delivery is made, a comment like " a parcel has been delivered for you in reception" would be more professional

Easy to understand and use, intuitive and feature rich.

Avantages

Intuitive, easy to use an configure. The iPad app is straightforward and requires little input, the Dashboard is clean and easy to understand.

Inconvénients

When making changes via the Dashboard, the iPad app needs to be closed and reopened (as i understand it) for the changes to be refreshed, which can be inconvenient.

Sine Review

Overall experience is good. It's doing what we expected and for the most part has bee accepted by our supplier visiting our sites as well

Nothing at this point. The program works as it was described to us from a user point a view. I don't deal in the admin part but I have not heard anything negative.

Good feedback from visitors

Avantages

It is better than the Visitor's Book that we had before as the ink on the book starts to blur out or not copied through. Sine is clear and convenient to retrieve any historical records.

Inconvénients

Unexpected visitors do not know if the person they are calling in is away on leave or out resulting in visitors waiting in the reception area.

Good product to easily cover your duty of care to contractors/visitors.

Pros -
Free easy download & use
Easy check on who's on site
Easy access for contractor/visitor to essential info and files (asbestos register, fire safety etc)
Host access to historical data
Cons -
Doesn't seen to work as efficiently on Google devices.
(Particularly if Host not on site) Depends on contractor/visitor using the system. It would be good if it could be integrated with the Access Control System so that the person was denied access until logged on.

Sign into facility software

We hope that it will help solve the issue of people moving between facilities sooner than they should. We have only started with 2 facilities but hope to roll it out to over 20.

Avantages

Ease of use, having to just look at a screen and it will sign you in or out

Inconvénients

It doesn't always recognise people. It was freezing and had to be re-set just after initial implentation

Engagement has been excellent and fundamentally the product is extremely intuitive with a good foundation of functionality.

Avantages

Ease of deployment. Configurability of platform.

Inconvénients

Need the features for Courier drop/pick and also delegates or "group" hosts (multi hosts alerted to a single visitor).

sine use

on the fence with this. if worked properly I would say it is a good product, but mine keeps on glitching

ability to cross information to the office from site

occasionally does not recognise signing in. takes a while to load. as well as it changed peoples images and information and had to re sign people in, as in re do as a first time user

Feedback on SIne

Sine is great. Would love the ability to sign in returning guests from the dash (in times of lots of clients)

Customer service and response time is amazing. Always extremely helpful (well done)

Would love some more multipurpose function questions for the dash as well, but that would be more of a wish list versus needed sign in functionality. To elaborate on that we would like to use sine pro as a way of tracking our staff on construction sites, part of this is ensuring they have the appropriate safety gear. it would be cool if there could be like a checklist option like

Hard hat (tick)
Construction boots (tick)

etc etc otherwise very happy with the service and level of customization

Advertised an Active Directory integration, the actual 'Integration' wasn't an actual LDAP integration seen in other software that advertises that function.

Sine Survey

Good system easier for our security to monitor who signing in & out. But the down fall is the system a bit slow especially when the amount of contractor per day at least 150.
Overall the system is value for money..

Very user friendly

Avantages

this system is very user friendly and the ability to see what time a contractor arrives and departs from site and track their hours worked vs hours charged.

Inconvénients

I haven't come across any real issues yet but perhaps a way of reducing all the notifications when arriving and leaving site.

Easy to locate and communicate

Able to correctly assess times for jobs and tasks by contractors. This has reduced overall outgoings with overcharge of hours onsite

Avantages

The ease of getting details on who is working in our precinct. Also the ease of tracking real time onsite

Inconvénients

As I am a recent user I cannot say I have located any issues yet

Awesome SINE

We love it - our visitors love it . SINE is easy to use. The SINE staff are wonderful and very helpful.

Avantages

It is easy to use.
It lets our visitors know our Health and Safety policy

Inconvénients

It does not include our own staff
The option Company Name field does not have enough characters - some of our Maori departments have long names

Easy to use for the Contractors & visitors to the centre.

easy to use and responsive.

Avantages

Modern innovative and easy to use. This is a great idea to assist with the constant battle of logging in and out of visitors & contractors to site.

Inconvénients

It would be good to have business/information cards to hand out to contractors for invite to join. Similar to a invitation. :-)

Sine has simplified the way visitors check in and has tightened our security through out our...

Avantages

I love how visitors can sign in via iPad or manual through the web. I like that you can preregister groups of visitors easily in one function.

Inconvénients

I love how many settings there are but I don't like how they are not customizable. I think there needs to be a way to customize the settings based on visitor type.

Working with Sine

The support is great, features and enhancements are coming. It works for our small office. Set-up was easy. Getting people to use the tool is the hard part.

Smart & Useful Office Product

Staff and visitors have responsibility to sign in/out of the office. Management are able to find out what staff movements are if they are not in the office.

Avantages

It looks smart and takes up little room on the Reception counter.

Inconvénients

Like anything, it just takes a bit of getting used to new equipment and getting into new habits.

Great system, show the information we required it to when checking in contractors

Avantages

how it looks on the IPAD .How we can show maps./pdfs on the contractor/visitor check in. geo fencing is also a great feature.

Inconvénients

I find it ridiculous that a staff member has to select a host to when checking in. This should not be an option for staff, just contractors and visitors.

Great news! Host selection by Visitor Type is now enabled on the dashboard, so your staff can check in without having to select a host.

SINE

as we could not connect to WIFI as needed to put in a USER and PASSWORD it was a bit confusing but KYM and the SINE team were very helpful, once we swapped over to the simcard we had zero problems and works very efficient

that it did not have a User and Password option with connecting to WIFI

Easy visitor management solution

The software is easy to configure. But the team from Sine were very helpful pointing out more advanced features for us to consider.

Avantages

Sine allows you to sign in quickly and easily. We have more visibility over our visitor movements than we did with our manual system.

Inconvénients

We have not found anything we don't like yet!

Easy to use with prompt customer service

Avantages

This software is easy to use . All you need is an Ipad and you are good to go. It is also maintenance free as the developer will do the background upgrading. Special thanks to rep who help to provide the demonstration and assistance for the initial set up of our Visitor Management System

Printing is really slow. Have not nailed down why. Takes 30s
We have looked at the network, that does not seem to be it.
More investigation needed.

Inconvénients

The section requiring who the visitor is here to see : most of the time, the contractors don't know so it would be good to have a more generic group that we could set-up vs name of person. Eg : yard, office...etc

Matric Limited Sine Review

Would be useful but is currently not working

The rollout has been complicated, not well supported and the implementation of the processes sloppy. Also, the unit in our Ballarat office has stopped working and I'm too busy to follow up. While we don't have many visitors because of lockdown, it will need to be fixed soon as we emerge from lockdown.

Avantages

I like the ease of use once it's up and running.

Inconvénients

Currently our unit is not functioning. It's plugged into AC but won't boot up.

Fairly easy to use . Set up was simple .

that all inductions are kept online .

Avantages

That all visitors have to do an induction .That you can sign in using your phone and scan the QR code.

Inconvénients

That you cant pull up a current visitors list on the app . I think printing it out in a real emergency is not going to be quick enough.

Great product

Great product and easy to use. Welcome the report function so as can generate contractor visitor reports. Messaging also works great. Happy customer :)

Avantages

Reporting, quickly see who is on site and departed. Clarity and easy off operation. Easy to add required item if I wish more info on particular sign on.
