Visual management of the site OEE performance. The ability to carry out Tier meetings using real time data. Reducing the non-value added time of collating and presenting data at meetings. Support for Redzone Coaches during the deployment.

Inconvénients

Cost of implementation was high. Installation of sensors and associated network, purchase of hardware inc. TVs, Apple devices.

Avantages

The ease of use and the visual nature of this program are invaluable! I impress each auditor I work with - not a non-conformance in sight!

Inconvénients

Getting leadership teams to realize this is the program to use!

Avantages

- There is a general ease of use for frontline workers and the transparency for associates to communicate with other departments and management.
- The Web Admin makes working in the system easier and more efficient.
- The Community created with Bootcamps and Workshops. It is incredibly beneficial to work with other companies and see how they utilize the software; they are also a wonderful opportunity to learn about new functions or find new ways to use current functions.
- Coaching team of [sensitive content hidden] have been undoubtedly beneficial in our current successful changes. Extremely knowledgeable and what they don't know they work to find out.

Inconvénients

- The number of glitches through software updates - every time a new update is rolled out it causes issues in other areas.
- Whenever support uploads either a new or updated characteristic to our items, other characteristics end up changed causing checks to fail that were fine before an update. This had caused us to choose to spend the time changing characteristics item by individual item instead of the mass upload.
- Whenever we enable a new module, it causes problems with the previous modules.
- Sending an email to support with a problem, then being told to check Knowledge Base, and having the ticket closed when the situation isn't resolved is infuriating.

Avantages

Ease of use and how transparent the information is. Easily accessible. Coach is amazing.

Inconvénients

The software no complaints. The wifi (not your issue) causes lag that we are trying to overcome.

Avantages

I like the access to higher ups that it gives operators, the communication tools really help to paint a picture the what's right/wrong and why. Having the ability to do this and take experiences from employees at all levels is the best the best problem solving tool.

Inconvénients

It can be quite clunky. You have your tablet, webadmin, analytics and RZ logger, sometime it feels like your juggling between ipads and desktops.

The RZ launch teams appear to have more work then they can handle. This can, and does come across like some of them really don't have the time for you.
This being said there are moments when the teams can't do enough for you.

Glitches in web admin. Waiting on complete transition from "red" app to web solution.

On how easy and fast is for every department to report a machine issue, also the easy and quick respond from my department to production through Redzone

Redzone gives us unprecedented insights into our production process and helps us identify trends we can use to increase our productivity and efficiency. The compliance module helps us fulfill our regulatory obligations easily and without paper.

Inconvénients

Importing products and equipment can be a bit quirky on the initial upload if you don't have everything in the exact format required. We had issues with this but it's likely because we haven't done many product conversions similar to this before.

Since Redzone is designed to work with Apple's iOS platform, everything 'just works' between the various supported devices. You can run the programs on computers with M-series processors but it would be really nice if there was a web based option for management users who can't/won't use an iPad.

Avantages

We are now paperless because of Redzone. I find the admin app very easy to use, and I can manage all my settings. Changes can be applied quickly, and I can also see the log of changes that I have made.

Inconvénients

Redzone is not available on PC and i can only use ipad to access the main app.

Redzone makes 3rd party audits easy. All of the documents generated are searchable is a number of ways depending on what your auditor is looking for. In the past we have have spent an hour or so gathering documents now with Redzone this process takes minutes.

Inconvénients

There is some heavy lifting that needs to be done up front, however once that is done there is very minimal upkeep.

i like the data catcher function, i am able to drill into the information which helps us to improve our line performance and effiency.

Inconvénients

i understand the basic of the whole system but in i need more time to understand the admin aspect of the system.

it can be a little complicate to understand how each downtime problem and assets are related and we need to set up the system back and forth to suit our needs.

Redzone is an amazing communication tool bringing all of operations together.

We are still scratching the surface with Redzone, but I would like for more customization to the core software design for our company needs.

The ability to launch and review every packaging machine performance (OEE) on the palm of your hands. Also, from Compliance, Reliability, & Productivity checks, paperless!

When reviewing the tableau that is sent out through email. When you click on it, it takes a long time to upload (the circle of death).

Redzone does a great job of challenging floor supervisors and hourly Team Members to drive results in a positive way.

Inconvénients

Some equipment manufacturers were much more difficult to get network fed information to communicate with Redzone than others.

I really appreciated the support from the Redzone Coach to help build the critical mass necessary for full adoption by the site team. It is often hard to get the momentum behind these deployment, and our coach was an expert in encouraging participation from resistant employees.

Inconvénients

Only available on IOS. Lack of desktop interface.

Avantages

What I like most about Redzone is that it in-powers the front-line workers. I have been involved in 2 Redzone launches, and for both sites, it has made our jobs easier. It helps create a structure for organizations. The culture that Redzone brings to sites about coaching employees and helping them grow professionally is what I most like about Redzone.

Inconvénients

One of the cons that I have experienced with Redzone is minor app bugs that quickly get addressed.
