Absolutely easy to set up and use as it is browser based and the simple link interface for our guests is invaluable.

Some of the UI icons are not easy to understand.

I think it needs to improve their pro features in the graphics department, either the basic or Pro plans. Sometimes graphics look too cheesy

It was easy to use and helped me grow my business! I could stream on multiple social media platforms to grow my audience! Just Superb.

The quality only goes up to 720p which is still good, but would be nice if it went to 1080p at least!

Avantages

Streamyard is easy to use, allows you to go LIVE in multiple places at once. This blew my mind, and has helped me reach more people without putting in the extra time. I do LOVE how when I schedule a broadcast, it shows it on my Facebook page all professional looking.
It's easy to invite guests on, screen sharing is easy peasy, and you can see comments from any source that you're streaming to. Hands down, the best thing I've gotten for my business. Only regret, not using it sooner.

Inconvénients

Streamyard only allows you to schedule a LIVE 7 days in advance. This creates issues because I have to constantly go back in and schedule my LIVE even though I do it at the same time, same day every single week.

Avantages

Streamyard is incredibly easy to use and does everything I want. We use it regularly for livestreams with near zero tech issues or lag. It's intuitive, clean, simple, and the price is excellent. It records well, it broadcasts easily to YouTube and Facebook, you can customize backgrounds and logos, the "backstage" is super easy to manage, chat works great, it's wonderful.

Inconvénients

I mean, I love Streamyard and honestly do not have any complaints. You can only have ten guests at a time, so if you want to livestream more than that, you need to get creative, but also you don't want to have more than 10 people on a livestream at a time.

I have been live streaming online for over 10 years. Streamyard is the best!!! I have never had to reach out to support and it has never glitched. I have done well over 100 live streams and never a problem!

This is really helpful in our monthly Facebook vodcasts. As an administrator, we can maximize the chances to market our brand through its features, especially that we got the Pro version. Unlike with Zoom, you can manipulate the windows (camera setups, branding, etc.), similar to a real video streaming setup. Transitions are also made easier through this app.

Inconvénients

It is very minimal. But since this app is being used in our organization, we have a number of administrators who access this. In terms of security, the login history is kept in the hardware (e.g. several desktops) used.

With Streamyard it's very easy per me to stream any live event (like interviews and book presentations) to multiple social networks. I like the chance to program the multistream and check that everything is okay with the other person online before going live.

Honestly, I don't have major cons for this service. It may seem a bit complicated at the beginning, but you learn easily.

StreamYard is hands-down the most easy to use live streaming studio you can have. Both for your own needs, as well as for guests joining. It's simple, like *really* simple to schedule and run events. Controls for changing scenes, heads-up-display comments, branding background and overlays is also very easy to do. Just upload a file, prepare these in advance, and click them to show up.

Inconvénients

Some features that I would have loved to have are still missing, but hopefully they can be added soon with the recent Hopin acquisition: the ability to live stream 2 or more screen sharing sessions. At the moment, it's only possible to display just 1 screen share at a time. The other issue is that you can't choose who to show up in the single person layout, and it usually defaults to the person who was first on the stream (the host). What you end up doing as a workaround is removing yourself (the host) from the stream, and then it focuses on the remaining person (the other person, the guest).

The other thing I'd like to really see in StreamYard is a marketplace of visuals. Visuals play a key role in streams, in the form of background, overlays, animations, and so on. Yet you end up having to search and buy on the web, then upload to StreamYard.

It's really convenient for starting a live stream, especially on YouTube Live. You press a button, enter a title and you're up and running. We used to use desktop streaming software more, but it wasn't as convenient and straightforward as Streamyard.

There aren't so many features for on-screen elements. The most popular desktop software for streaming allows for a lot more customisation, whereas Streamyard is easier to use but lacks the customisation (for good reason really).

We have a podcast that we started doing video and did livestream for engagement. We really enjoyed the features and the ability to have a waiting room, show comments, type highlights/websites in real time. It was easy to use.

Inconvénients

We had a few issues with guests joining on occasion (this was now 2 years ago though), so a slight learning curve on our end. And scheduling was not as easy as I've used on other streaming services, though I think more features have since been added.

Streamyard is very easy to use. The interface is beginner-friendly -- very intuitive, even for people who are not used to streaming software. Love that it's all in the cloud -- so even if I get dropped out, people who are in the room can still push through with the stream. It's also not dependent on 1 person's connectivity. Easy as well to put in text (while live) and pull out comments from social media.

Wish there was a pricing structure that will accommodate for less frequent users who would like the PRO option.

Such a well designed, snappy and slick interface. Everything is buttery smooth, which you really want when live streaming. You don't want to press the wrong control, and Streamyard presents everything clearly.

Not very much to complain about. They are generous with their free plan. If you want to record your stream for your podcast, you must upgrade, but the price is reasonable.
