Great customer service team to work with whenever issues arise or with new enhancement requests

Not having to hand write each work order myself.

Avantages

Faculty and staff can enter their own work requests or event requests so all I need to do is minor revisions.

Inconvénients

The inability to manipulate text such as underline or bold. Work requests are geared more for technicians receiving work requests via email when our technicians do not have that capability.

For easy to use and the Customer Service is AWESOME!

Avantages

Easy to use
I can make basic changes myself
If I need help there is always someone who can help me quickly
They help me with information input

Inconvénients

I can't think of anything that I don't like and if I do I just let them know and they normally fix it right then

You should develop an app in the app store though

System is very user friendly and intuitive

Ability to keep track of needs and employees time .

Avantages

Easy logon and navigation. Very easy for the users from each of our buildings to logon and enter their requests. Also, very easy to set up or remove users as needed.

Inconvénients

I use this program mostly from my phone. As in other apps I would like a "Stay logged in" feature. to make it even easier to get to the program and make my entries

Facilities Management eXpress review

We've been very pleased with FMX. They continue to add useful features on a regular basis!

Avantages

- Implementation was very easy! We were able to transfer nearly all of our data from the previous system we were using.
- Setup for users and groups was also smooth once I understood what was capable. Had a lot more granular capabilities than other products we researched.
- Very competitive pricing!

Inconvénients

There were a few features we had from our previous system that were not available in FMX. However not enough to dissuade our decision to purchase.

This was our company's first move away from the manual paper trail.

Avantages

It allows a good high-level overview as a building manager to see activity and utilize the software to hold people accountable. I have used it in both my prior general manager role as well as current regional role.

Inconvénients

There is no app for this product which would make it even more user friendly for the end-user versus having to use the web-based version all of the time.

I'm usually the person initiating all facilities requests from our organization.

It makes it very easy for staff at different locations to alert me to facilities issues, and to follow along to know where we stand on resolving the issue.

Avantages

It's very easy to use, I don't have to do much education with staff to teach them how to use it. I really like that you're able to add someone as a follower to a request, too.

Inconvénients

I wish I could search requests by the person who put them in, or see the name of the person who put the request in next to the request itself. We also don't really use the cost or hours options, so It would be useful to hide those and better customize the lists of requests.

FMX is so user friendly

Avantages

Users can be precise with the information that is needed in the tickets which makes it so easy for our technology and maintenance people to fix the issues the first time out. The product has open response features so you can keep everyone up to date on the status of open tickets.

Inconvénients

After polling our users and admins they have no negative feedback for FMX. The customer service is great although you hardly ever have to call in. This is so user friendly even the different reports are easy to figure out!

FMX PM Software

Overall the FMX web based program works for our facility. We don't take full advantage of all its resources but in time, as we grow, we will grow into the uses of the program.

Avantages

The software is easy to use, the calendar view is nice. FMX is helpful and they are always exploring new ideas and implementations in the software. The web based program is good and user friendly.

Inconvénients

the reports section is missing some different logs and lists that could be generated for a user. with requests to FMX the wanted reports probably could be generated.

The CMMS software is a very easy tool to use and navigate

Avantages

The software is a friendly user web interface, and It's easy to navigate. The best part is that all my users love it.

Inconvénients

I have been using this for at least 6 months so I really don't have anything negative to say about this software.

very happy with our decision to make FMX our work order and PM system

organization, transparency, and it builds a history of machine issues

Avantages

FMX is very easy to set up initially. I like how you can turn on or off features so users only see what they need to. Customer service has been outstanding and extremely fast.

Inconvénients

I do have some trouble distinguishing between "past due" and "in process" work orders. I would like the ability to leave a work order on the day it was open but assign it a separate due date.

FMX is the easiest software to use

Avantages

This software really helps to generate work order numbers, notify contractors and keep a track of all the jobs that are open.

Inconvénients

I find it a little bit uncomfortable to reschedule/move forward/change due date of a job because a notification will be sent to a contractor (and I do not want them to be notified). I assume it can be corrected in the settings, but I do not change dates too often and do not want to go to settings each time I need to do that. This is only relevant for some of the jobs that are on hold for a reason and to view them I need to scroll back in my calendar dashboard (instead of moving the job forward)

Not missing any of the work needing to be done.

Avantages

Very easy to use. I Love this product, we us it everyday and when u need help they are always there to help fix or take suggestions.

Inconvénients

None. It is so easy to use I have had no problems. It is Awesome, Great, Fantastic! always working just as hard as we are.

Amazing tool for any business!

Immediate communication with our locations.

Avantages

Easy to use for any skill level, the team members can open tickets easily and it doesn't require lengthy training.

Inconvénients

Can't log-in with my fingerprint, I like to use this feature instead of trying to remember what password I might have used.

Great Product and Great Costumer Service

Our productivity increased, better control over our equipment and preventive maintenance.

Avantages

After long research we decide to implement FMX to be our software for Facilities Department with the City. FMX team lead us step by step true process and they add all the details we have requested and they answered every question to our satisfaction. everyone loves this product because is customizable, very easy to use and glitch free.

Inconvénients

We have this software for year and no cons. System performs so well. System works great!! One of kind. Great job FMX team.

Flawless, easy to implement, great support and customer service

Avantages

Visually appealing, molds to your needs and easy for customer/staff to use too. This product has been so easy to switch too from SchoolDude, We love it our staff loves it, invaluable!

Inconvénients

I have nothing negative to say about this software it has been a amazing improvement to our technical, maintenance and room reservation/ticketing request process in the schools.

As a mechanical contractor we were looking for a simple system that would schedule and log preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as well as provide a collaborative means to receive maintenance requests. We also wanted to assign the maintenance request to the appropriate technician. We looked at several different solutions and found FMX. FMX was exactly what were we looking for. The pricing was very straight forward and affordable. There is no software to load, all updates are automatic, the system is always up and running, and it is very simple to use. The QR codes for each piece of equipment allow our technicians to view the maintenance log of any piece of equipment in the field, and execute the PM tasks in the field with their smart phone. The maintenance request feature is simple and allows us to respond to our customers quickly and easily. The PM log has been invaluable when dealing with warranty issues on equipment. The calendar interface and the email notifications make the entire process extremely easy to use and very efficient. The beauty of the FMX software is the collaborative method used to input the maintenance request. Using the FMX has eliminated the need for us to have an office administrator who would receive maintenance requests and dispatch a technician. The calendar and email notification allows all of our technicians to work together to take care of our customers. This has been a huge benefit when one our technicians are out sick or on vacation. Without a doubt, FMX has improved our customer satisfaction, and made our technicians more efficient in responding to maintenance requests and handling PM tasks. FMX customer support was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend FMX to any contractor offering customer service, or to a building owner looking for a simple and highly efficient tool to perform facilities management.

FMX Review

Any issue I have had has been resolved quickly by the FMX staff. Our account manager has been excellent to work with. Going from managing our facilities with Outlook calendar to FMX was a dream.

Avantages

Customer support! They are stellar. For us consolidating our calendars down to one and eliminating human error in regards to booking facilities for use.

Inconvénients

There isn't anything glaring that we dislike. We continue to learn and adapt to how we use the software.

Our go to Facility Management platform

Avantages

From the ease of FMX's interface for our clients to request a service call to the ease of use for our service contractors has made FMX our go to platform for our Facility Service Group.

Inconvénients

There is nothing we do not like about FMX. Even the service vendor on boarding process is easy as well as having the ability to track the service calls and work done is important to our clients. FMX does it all.

FMX Simple and Clean

FMX is a great company that is still growing. The customer service is tremendous, if you have any questions or concerns they are there for you and will find some type of solution for you and your company. The product itself, is extremely user friendly, even for those who may be less tech savvy.

Avantages

The software is simple to use, no other way around it. The every day tasks and agenda is in plain site for all to see.

Inconvénients

The software is missing a few features that we utilize with our previous software company. However, since they are a newer company they are open to all suggestions and typically add them in or show you another way to get the same results.

Ease of Setup and use.

Avantages

Easy to setup and get the program running at a facility. Intuitive to use. Customer service is easy to use and prompt in their replies.

Inconvénients

Routine reports are virtually unusable. It is a list of the PM's that were completed in the last day, week, or month. The report is hundreds of pages long. Who has time to sort through that. Give me a daily report on a graphed single page report so I can quickly see what has transpired.

FMX is a great CMMS program for schools.

We had a system from another company and it wasn't used as it should have been. With FMX and it's ease of use we have everyone using it and logging in all their work requests. Having the equipment and inventory modules that are easy to use and find what you are looking for is a huge plus. It gives us tracking of the equipment and with accurate costs of parts used with having the inventory piece. If I had to do it all over again I'd choose FMX again.

Avantages

I love the ease of use with the software. It isn't to cumbersome to use. Scheduling events is really easy for everyone involved. It is very customizable as well.

Inconvénients

I'm still working on learning the reports better. I have some trouble seeing what I want, but I believe that is just a learning curve and I haven't devoted the time to it yet.

FMX has worked great for our organization so far

Makes life so much easier for our department. End users know in real time the status of their requests.

Avantages

Users friendly, customers love that they can track work order progress. The preventive service scheduling works great for our Facility Dept.

Inconvénients

As the administrator i don't know how to train users on creating their accounts. I would like to receive training so i can then train the end users.

Avantages

Leaders are able to make requests, change requests and check out the calendar on their own. Customer service responds quickly and is very helpful. The continual improvement based on customer feedback.

Inconvénients

The inability to change event details for one occurrence of a custom schedule request. The search function for contacts and users or schedule requests does not always give the event or person's name but I can find it when I scroll through.

Good overall CMMS

Avantages

It is very easy to get the basic use out of. Regular maintenance work orders and PMs are simple to use. The ability to add pictures from a smartphone in work orders is excellent.

Inconvénients

Some of the analytics are a little harder to find. This is not a “con” but if you are expecting a full blown ERP, this is not a fit. It is exactly what is advertised: a good web-based CMMS.

I like the ability to add links to pictures or other files to individual equipment. I like the way the calendar is setup to look at individual work-orders (planned or reactive.) Ability to add/change employees easily.

Inconvénients

Do not like the inventory section, troublesome and no specific relationship to generate a tracking and inventory control. Nothing for double checking or controlling inventory, specific location is tied in differently than one would expect.
Don't like the "building" separation. We have same building but different departments.
Generating reports is not the easiest when it comes to changing formats for presentations.

Ideal Shop Scheduling Tool

FMX as a company has been wonderful to communicate with and have always been readily available to help with any questions.

Avantages

This software is very easy to use if you are familiar with any type of web browser. IT is also highly adaptable and can be developed to suit your organizations needs.

Inconvénients

Some of our operators have expressed how difficult it is to recall past comments in the "Log" section.

Quality Service and Product

Avantages

1. The work order system is simple and easy to use for our production and maintenance departments.
2. Customer service is top notch and promptly fixes any issues
3. The reporting system breaks down where issues are occurring the most, so our team can come up with
engineering controls to eliminate reoccurring issues quicker and easier.

Inconvénients

Have not figured out a way to add folders to the equipment, so the equipment manuals are more difficult to navigate in the software since there are so many individual PDF's.

With a mixture of capable and not-so-capable employees, having a easy to use interface is a must and this is the software we need.

Makes my Maintenance Life Easier

I've been using FMX for four years and it makes my maintenance life easier.

Avantages

super easy to use; my end users use the system which speaks volumes. They only use what is easy and they know the work gets assigned and completed.

Inconvénients

I think there need to be changes to the schedule request feature to allow for easier use for permitting. Otherwise I think the system is great.

Facility Scheduling Management

This is a huge help in managing our resources but especially aids in the double booking of rooms/conflicts and assists in knowing exactly who is in our buildings.

Avantages

The ease of use; customer service from FMX

Inconvénients

Not being able to apply more than one invoice to a request. We have several requests that are on many dates and I have to manually do the invoicing because I cannot do individual ones.

You'll be amazed that you made it to this point without it

We have been using FMX for almost a year and the results are already showing. There is less stress in my day, and in turn, I see a big difference in attitude of my maintenance staff and accountability for us all. Our communication is much better, we know what events, projects, and work orders are coming up and we are not missing certain details that we were before. We have a much better understanding of each other and a new outlook on prioritizing and planning for the day to day activities for our recreation facility.

Avantages

All staff are on the same page and effective planning has taken on a new meaning. Communication amongst staff has improved, productivity and results are evident, and the FMX program is easy to use. FMX customer service and their staff is with you every step of the way and is there to answer every question.

Inconvénients

As a recreation facility manager, I wish there was a section for tying in scheduled recreation games, reservations and events.

Good program that is getting better

I initially signed up with FMX after 6 years using a competitors product. I noticed right away that FMX was easier to navigate and had a more intuitive program. In addition, the FMX team welcomes feedback to drive change, the program that we initially signed up with did not include a Purchase Order suite of tools. I told the team that this was a must have!! They promised that they would be able to get something going within the first year and worked with us on an initial design. While the PO program is still lacking a few features that I think would be helpful for us, they delivered on schedule and I know that they are working through the changes that will make it even more valuable.
I recommend this program to anyone who expresses any kind of a need for a product of this type.

FMX Implementation in Emmet County, MI

good

Avantages

We had no software or product to track and control our in-house maintenance requests, technology requests, or the ability to have documented reports regarding these areas. We implemented FMXpress and now we have all those capabilities and more.

Inconvénients

It took us a while to get everyone on board. We would have liked to get all of our equipment information logged on, but we do not have the manpower to accomplish that; and the quote was too costly to have FMXpress do it.

Fantastic Solution!

Overall, the implementation and actual use of the software was seamless. We are so glad we found it are able to integrate it into our organization.

Avantages

The software is very user friendly and easy to use. With very limited training, our staff were able to start entering tickets for maintenance and IT and our maintenance and IT staff were able to quickly and efficiently prioritize task, update on progress and resolve. We have been very happy with the ease and efficiency of the program. The web based software has also been a benefit because it is accessible from anywhere.

Inconvénients

Sometimes there is a delay in the drop down fields but that may be just network issues rather than the software.

Great add to our team. For the amount of money spent it is a great product!

Avantages

Easy to use, very convenient dash board to review all data. I love being able to add as many users as I need since tenants and the contacts change over often.

Inconvénients

No con - just a suggestion for a future feature. Escalation feature - high priority has some type of escalation if not picked up in a set time.

FMX was the first task I learned when I started my current job. It's so easy & intuitive!

Avantages

It's easy to collaborate with other space users and include specific information regarding setup requests. I haven't double-booked space at all thanks to FMX.

Inconvénients

The layout of the calendar view is difficult on the eyes. I guess the only complaint I have is that it could be more visually appealing.

Very good.

Easy to use and good price as compared to competition

Inconvénients

Auto assign feature doesn't allow user to see other properties. If you have access, then you get assigned all work orders you have access for each property. Work around is to either have w.o. originator assign the work order or have an admin assign the work orders.

FMX - great program for any size business

FMX has been a great program for use in our Facilities/Maintenance Department. It is very user friendly, and the customer support has been great at helping to customize the overall functionality for our organization. They are continuously updating and making improvements. For the cost, and the support alone, it has been a great product, and I enjoy using it on a day to day basis.

only thing I wish could be done - to be able to sort in my reports by dates.......i need to generate monthly reports, and sometimes my input goes into the next month, and it is hard to run those reports, and get exact info......I know it is something that is in process, just wish it were available now :)

FMX Review

My experience has been above average albeit the longevity report.
Use of app is definitely a positive.

Avantages

I liked the ease of use and the transparency of the software.

Inconvénients

I am unable to generate a longevity report that does not include weekend dates as we are not open on weekends.

This is a very user friendly software. It is very easy to use for someone that does not have a lot of computer skills. Your information is always available.

Inconvénients

Savannah School District converts to FMX

Avantages

I like that all the tools we are looking for are in one place. Technology and Maintenance work requests as well as asset management and inventory management.

Inconvénients

We are very new to the system, so far I really haven't found anything I don't like.

Maintenance System

Avantages

It is easy to use and keep everything well organized for buildings or a campus depending what you are handling

Inconvénients

There are not very many cons for this system. One could be it being dificult to find certain items in the system.

FMX is a home run for us!

Avantages

every module leads you to intuitive, simple procedures for really making a difference in managing facility use, budgeting, and work requests. Also, one training session in our Staff Meeting, and everyone was able to log on and begin using FMX for their Cleaning, repair and event requests.

Inconvénients

Would be a little more handy if an app was available. But it is not to difficult to log on to the website.

FMX deserves a great review!!!!!!!!!!

My experience with FMX has been refreshing and a completely positive experience. We try not to have vendors, we prefer partners and that is exactly what FMX has brought to us, a partnership. First, their style of communication is to listen to the customer and then help the customer to meet their needs. I feel as if FMX has customize their product to meet every need and want we have requested from them. The maintenance module has improved our efficiency, the automation module has saved us in the thousands per month in utilities cost and the calendar module is so simple to use. We researched several companies who would or could offer these services and FMX was the only one who met our needs and wants at a very affordable price. Anyone of the FMX modules will save you time and money, especially the calendar and automation module. The FMX Team is professional, knowledgeable and just enjoyable to work beside as a partner.

Most User Friendly Software On The Market

FMX is an excellent Building Management System

It is a very comprehensive product and you do not need to purchase additional modules after you begin to use it, it comes as a complete package. It cut our cost for a building management system in half and we still retained a great quality product.

Avantages

Ease of use and the ability to customize the screens with additional fields and the ability to attach documents to equipment and work orders.

Inconvénients

Not being able to put work orders on "hold" when waiting on parts or a down day to implement the work order.

FMX Periodic Review

We purchased the FMX software for our church. We average about 330 in Sunday School. We have been experiencing growth and with that comes more maintenance requests as our facilities are used more. Our church has one maintenance supervisor and 2 full-time janitors and one part-time janitor. We purchased FMX and have been pleased with the ease of use to implement this with our staff. We like the ability to enter maintenance requests with our computers and look forward to the app coming. Recording the maintenance requests in the database and being able to track its progress is a great feature! It has helped keep our requests on track for completion and helped inform the staff when the tasks are completed. I would recommend this to any church.

Impressive software!

With everything said this is a great product for the price.

Avantages

Very easy to use, easy to input information for equipment and buildings, user friendly, simple for the average person to enter in maintenance requests/repairs. Also as the end user for scheduling repairs it's quick and easy to prioritize repairs/duties for the days and weeks ahead.

Inconvénients

Would like to be able to have a duel color code for the calendar, as in person assigned to with a priority color or maintenance type color.
