Great product, easy to use and great for training new people
Overall I am pleased with it, the cost is a factor but I feel like the value is high.
Avantages
The customer service is excellent. It is also very user friendly and intuitive.
Inconvénients
The price for any additional providers, even if they only work part time and that the price for using the custom intake forms is per provider which really adds up.

Fast Paced Speech and OT Clinic
Fusion has been a great exsperince for our fast paced clinic.
Avantages

Improvements are noted
Overall it has been very positive. I joined after many changes were made to improve client satisfaction, and I believe new procedures were put in place. For example, better customer service access. Most calls I make to customer service now are answered promptly, which is helpful as I continue to learn to navigate use of Fusion for my small private practice.
Avantages
The automated submission of claims, as it has significantly reduced the time I have to spend on insurance claims.
Inconvénients
Price, it’s more expensive than other EMRs that are geared towards speech therapists.

Overall, I like the Fusion system and appreciate the support staff.
Avantages
I really appreciate Fusion's customer service team. They are always very helpful and kind.
Inconvénients
I don't like that Fusion doesn't have an option to set up automatic payments. Manually entering automatic payments is very time consuming and inconvenient. I also wish the primary EOBs that are not paid would attach to the secondary claims. All of these claims have to be sent by paper claim which is also very time consuming and seems like a basic service that should be handled by the Fusion system.

Mixed review
Overall from a clinical stand point it is easy to access, easy to navigate and is "current" looking which helps with onboarding and training for new staff. The support staff is generally helpful, however with the lack of audit trail I have questions about built in HIPAA compliance versus compliance that exists because our office is diligent about it.

As a clinic director the things I have the biggest issue with are related to scheduling/rescheduling appointments and addition of information to accounts/charts. We have difficulty from a financial standpoint getting our accounting to match the documentation and reports we get from Fusion however I have minimal experience with that end to speak in an education fashion about the difficulties our accountant has

User Friendly
It is a decent EMR system but could use improvements in claims billing and notifications.
Avantages
It is very user friendly for front desk and therapist. We can easily navigate schedule, profiles, and charge copays.
Inconvénients
It could use some work with allowing individual message alerts be sent to certain families vs having to chose 24 or 4 hour alerts to be sent to all. Billing can also improve when there are more than one insurance plan the patient may have so we don't have to enter duplicate accounts.

Overall I like Fusion. The layout is smooth compared to many program. The screen are easy to move through.
Avantages
I like the layout of the program. The tabs along the side in the chart is very helpful.
Inconvénients
It takes too many steps to complete appointment scheduling. When you are inside of the client's appointment screen you have to add the name again. Also if you forget to add the therapist name you do not have an option to do it from that screen. You must exit. It should also be an option to add from a already existing time scroll instead of having to manually input the time. These fixes would improve on time management. You may also want to consider adding a portal tab to the side bar inside the patient chart. It would also be wonder to be able to move the providers name around on the front board.

Fusion has some great attributes, but is lacking on the ancillary components.
We are still in the transition period, so we are not fully using the platform. This has been a long journey and didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped (copying over goals & documentation). We are hopeful that once we are fully transitioned, the switch to Fusion will make things more efficient.
Avantages
I appreciate the scheduling aspect of the platform. I think that it is very user-friendly.
Inconvénients
I think the ancillary components could be better. Reminders are generic and do not allow for confirming or canceling. Also, I think that the Customer Service offered during the transition period isn't very easy to access. There is a lot of directing to the web-based education when a simple walk-thru would be easier, especially for an entire practice, to understand the flow of Fusion.

Overall, it's been great! I do appreciate the aesthetics and the easy navigation. I've tried several EMRs and Fusion is still my most preferred

I have appreciated the program since opening my clinic. It has allowed me to streamline notes and paperwork.
Avantages
Having access for all therapist on one site and billing straight from the site. I like the ability to complete a POC easily and fax straight from site.
Inconvénients
No auto correct for typing like other programs to correct simple typing errors.
When typing a progress note using the standardize test scores, the scores do not carry over to the plan of care sent to the doctor. Therefore, I have to type the scores in again. We have contacted fusion about this.

Great/easy doc system
Overall experience with Fusion has been great!
Avantages
It is easy to use. I like that administrators can control what features are available to clinicians. For example, my last clinic we were able to cancel appointments and add them (i.e. more administrative work), but at my current clinic, we do not have that option, creating a more streamline space for admin team only.
Inconvénients
I think Fusion is pretty easy to navigate. I do not have concerns about Fusion, except the occasional "system down" frustration.

Overall, Fusion works well for my practice.
Avantages
Ease of documentation for therapists and good process from therapist signature through claim processing.
Inconvénients
I do not find insight reports regarding finance and AR to be accurate. This makes it very difficult to ensure we are accurately and timely paid for services rendered. Also, because we can not load our fee schedules into the system, it takes extra work to balance and post payments.

Growing Pains
We have enjoyed it. I like the reminders but also not a huge fan since its growth. Seems to be adding things that aren’t necessary but taking away perks (loved having tests already there to import)
Avantages
Ease of calendar and drop downs. Evaluations are straight forward.
Inconvénients
The new case part. It makes it difficult to switch schedules if filling in. It also makes no sense as an OT I shouldn’t be allowed to comment on another disciplines notes.

Fusion from a biller and collections associate perspective.
I was brand new to billing and collections when I first started with Fusion. The ease and simplicity of Fusion made it very easy to learn and understand.
Avantages
I like the ease of being able to use it. It is a very straight forward product that does not have a huge learning curve.

I wish there was a way to auto send invoices to families versus having to send them individually.

Overall, it serves our needs well enough. This doesn't quite fit our needs, but it's good enough.

It’s affordable, easy to use and wonderful customer service.
Avantages
It’s very user friendly. I can write my evaluation reports or SOAP notes quickly. I love the ability to fax a PHI document to another professional. It helps me stay organized and keeps track of expiration dates and visits.
Inconvénients
The inability to add coworkers to existing messages. Instead, you have to start a new message.

Comprehensive and user friendly
My overall experience with Fusion has been positive. It is the fourth EMR system I have used and is definitely easy to use.

I have been using Fusion for several years now and it is easy, clear, and inclusive for most of the things we use it for.

I wish there was a biographical section for the eval report and the progress notes.

Great System
Great! We have been very happy with the switch to Fusion from our previous system.
Avantages
Build with speech/OT/PT in mind! Very easy to use. The integrated billing system is integral to our clinic's billing and revenue.
Inconvénients
Costly, would like to see certain features added such as the ability to add a credit card without charging the card, ability to label contact names, track revenue better, to name a few.

My overall experience with Fusion has been great! I can access it from the internet which is nice if I need to complete my notes at home. It is easy to log into, see the schedule for the day, week, months, etc. It allows me to see files uploaded from our receptionist and keep important files such as progress reports, IEPs, IFSPs all in one place.
Avantages
It is very straight forward to use. I can see the other therapist's schedules which really helps at our facility so that I can see if I am taking my client back to their parent in the waiting room or to their next therapist (occupational or physical therapist). It is very easy to write notes, see notes/documents uploaded to each client's file, etc.
Inconvénients
It makes you change your password very frequently. Although this is annoying, I'm sure it is good for HIPAA privacy reasons.

Crashes and Pulling forward
I would give Fusion an 8/10. Very user friendly and easy to use. Sometimes crashes and I wish you could pull forward individual goals when writing a daily note vs pulling forward the entire note. Makes it time consuming to go back and delete goals you did not work on that day.

Positive. It takes a while to learn a new EMR but once you have a hang of it, it is easy to use. The customer service has been really great.

Good, I would change very small functions to make the experience a little more seamless but over all once learned, Fuson is a good application.

There should be some sort of auto save function. Many times I’ve accidentally backed out of the current note I’m working on and lost all the data.

Once I became used to Fusion I was able to navigate it. However there are some basic things that we have to build workaround for and things that are not intuitive to learn. It takes us a long time to onboard people because of that.

Hasn't kept up
I think there are much better EMRs on the market these days. Having used Fusion for almost 4 years now myself I feel as though we have grown and the system has not properly kept up with our needs. When you ask for more features, you are told it has to get enough "votes" for it to be considered. With a cost higher than competitors like Jane and Simple Practice it's only a matter of time before we switch systems.
Avantages
Simple learning curve for therapists who do not have much experience/are newer to practicing.
Inconvénients
Too simple; double documentation (i.e. a daily note with every progress, eval, discharge), no minimize button.

I am happy with Fusion overall. It is a great system to be able to manage lots of clients and multiple therapists. I am impressed with the easy and simple way to navigate and use.

Reminders, easy to use and fill in daily notes, dot phrases, and alerts that pop up on your screen when cancellations and check ins occur
Inconvénients
I don't like that you must change the password so frequently, as it makes it difficult to remember. I also would appreciate having birthday notifications/alerts when a child is seen the week of or day of. Maybe you can make a balloon next to their appointment.

User friendly, even for non tech people
Really positive. Fusion is my favorite online scheduling platform. I have used Janeapp, Web PT, and others, and none of them are as user friendly as Fusion. I am not a tech minded person and I actually enjoy using Fusion.
Avantages
It is easy to figure out and has an intuitive set up that is not overwhelming.
Inconvénients
The progress notes and re-assessments require that you transfer goal progress from daily notes onto those notes, instead of having a way to carry them forward the way you do no daily notes.

I would recommend Fusion to any business owner looking for a simple, user friendly, EMR system.
Avantages
Fusion is SO user friendly! It makes appointments, notes, goal tracking, and every part of documentation easy to use. Fusion is easy to navigate and easy to learn. My entire staff loves Fusion!
Inconvénients
Tracking progress notes that are different frequencies can be challenging. I know Fusion has the capabilities to perform this however it hasn't quite worked out for me.

There are several things I would like to see changed. Fusion is very expensive, especially when 4 of our employees are part time.
Avantages
Scheduling the clients and submitting claims is easy.
Inconvénients
The part time employees have the same rate as full time employees. It cost extra money to send text and forms after already a high price to use Fusion with as many therapists we have.

Complaint with pending daily notes
Avantages
When documenting evaluations, there is an opportunity to both use a drop down menu for quick and easy documenting, and sections that allow therapist to document using own words.
Inconvénients
Customer service and "pending" daily notes. I have 6 daily notes from [sensitive content hidden] still sitting in my "pending" list that cannot be reclaimed or signed. I have reached out to customer service several times regarding the issue. No one ever reached out to me with progress of issue; I had to initiate contact in order to receive an update. I was then given a response that the issue was not fixed. This particular correspondence occurred at least 4 times, with no resolution. As of [sensitive content hidden], I still have x6 daily notes from 2023 that cannot be signed.

I have enjoyed the accurate reports, insights, ERAs and how accurate they have been making our billing processes much more effective and timley.

A Great Documentation System
Overall, I genuinely enjoy Fusion and think it is the best documentation system I have ever used.
Avantages
I love that Fusion is so user-friendly and makes it easy to access documentation for multiple disciplines.
Inconvénients
One problem I've had is that sometimes a note will randomly get kicked back after I have signed off on it and the data has been deleted. It doesn't happen often, but is odd when it does. Additionally, once I archive or discharge a goal, it still appears on the client's daily note, which makes it difficult to tell what goals are still relevant if multiple therapists are treating the same client.

Easy Peasy
Overall I have had enjoyable expiremce with fusion, it’s made a complicated job much easier, and without it I definitely would end up having longer days/time spent on documentation.

I like how nice the reports look and how well intake forms input into the client portal area. I love the billing side and being able to create invoices and make payments with ease.
Inconvénients
That the note templates are not customizable. For our clinician working with 2-5 year olds who are autistic we need to use specific areas that just don't need all the drop downs and section you have set. We make ti work but it would be easier if we could customize. Also quickphrases should be able to be added from documents by all roles.

I like the adaptability and ease of use with Fusion. It feels intuitive and easy to understand and I appreciate that so much information can be stored in one place. I find the interface to be very easy to navigate.

I like that the system is easy to use and things are written in language that is understandable and free of jargon. I appreciate that the documentation, scheduling, and billing is all in one spot.
Inconvénients
I don't like there are separate documents for re-assessments and initial evaluations, as my company does not use them and they seem superfluous. But I'm not sure if it's a feature that can be turned off and we haven't done so yet.

Fusion review!
It has been a steep learning curve for myself and numerous other staff/clinicians. It's lack of intuitive features. It seems there is a lot of steps to do in order to complete a simple task.
Avantages
The scheduling calendar, the auto reminder for parents, the charting/notes template and the chat feature.
Inconvénients
1. The inability to share reports more than once.
2. The inability to add a table to a report template.
3. The goal criteria does not show up in the final goal/report. You put it in the goal section but it does show up in that way.

It's a good product
Avantages

Not being able to put in an upcoming authorization and having to wait.

Scheduling
Avantages
Scheduling patients on Fusion is quick and easy to do and the process of checking patients in or marking them absent, even if it's last minute or needs to be changed, is easy too.
Inconvénients
Occasionally Fusion takes a minute when you hover over the appointment and if you have access to multiple therapist's schedules, it can be easy to accidentally mark the wrong patient.

We Love Fusion!
We tried a different EMR and it was much less user friendly than Fusion, especially when considering the number of users in our practice.
Avantages
It's ease of use and extremely functional nature.
Inconvénients
Sometimes pulling reports can be difficult and it can be hard to pull the exact report you need.

Very useful for an SLP
This system is very user friendly for scheduling, writing reports and uploading and sharing documents.
Avantages
I like that Fusion keeps track of my outstanding and completed daily notes. It gives me reminders of dues dates for progress reports and annual re-evaluations. The calendar is easy to use and super helpful in keeping me organized. The clients report that the reminders are an effective tool for keeping everybody on time/ track.
Inconvénients
When I'm writing an assessment, I often go out to the preview mode so I can see all that I've written. I don't have any major complaints. I like it better than the last system we used.

Great therapy documentation program
Documentation for speech therapy . I have had a great experience with Fusion and tell all of my peers about it.
Avantages
The way i can get around the program without getting kicked out
Inconvénients
Maybe a note section on calendar. Maybe make the print out portion for larger note area

Fusion Review from Outpatient OT
I think overall fusion is a great program, allowing clinicians to be as flexible as they would like with documentation.
Avantages
I like most the flexibility of the program. I like that I am able to add/remove as much as I would like.
Inconvénients
I don't like that when I hover over some of the goals to see the progress that it does not show me the information/data from that date. Fusion used to allow me to do this if I clicked on the date when previewing the goal data, however, in the most recent update this was taken away. I also wish I could check in my own patients and see my co-workers schedules.
