Great product
We have great service and overall, love fusion
Avantages
The ease and efficiency to use. We also love the fact that we can get a hold of someone to help in a timely manner.

Overall A Good Program But Could Be Great With Some Changes
Overall the experience with Fusion has been good. If the pay to address could be including as an option and the patient statements could be created in batches and automatically pulled any unpaid service lines in it could be a great program.
Avantages
Overall insurance billing is easy to navigate and registration is also easy to use.
Inconvénients
No option to add a pay to address which add extra work for paper claims and statement processing extra work to add that manually.
The patient statement process needs to be completely overhauled.
There needs to be options to term previous insurance policies in case older claims need to be refiled.

Fusion has it pros and cons but overall it has been good this past year!
Avantages
I like that it is very easy to access and get straight to the point .
Inconvénients
I dislike how it does not give parents the notice if there is a make up schedule the day prior . They shouldn't have to wait the 24 hours to receive it . Also feel like parents should be able to cancel there appointment on there.

Overall, it has been pretty good but I think there is always room for improvements.

Inconvénients
I don't like that they started charging for text reminders when that was included when we signed up. There are small things that have been recommended in the forum related to billing and appointments that would make things easier for users.

Most of it has be a positive move and we are happy with Fusion and grateful for Matt and Melody when we some advice or help getting through claims
Avantages
The staff is more helpful than our previous EMR. The layout is user friendly and makes sense to use, once you learn where things are. It is nice to have some features we can adjust to our group/company!
Inconvénients
The Transfer over was a bit rocky and we are still getting our ERAs to Fusion figured out and getting our patient portal working has. I am sad you don't have someone we can talk to after 5 any more. There is one tech that talks fast and is difficult to understand

Fair, there are aspects that are helpful as a therapist.
Being in administration, unable to get accurate charts based on limited criteria.
It is also a challenge in billing.

Good, customer service usually gets back to me quickly if there are any issues and it's not very frequent that I'd need them

Easy to pull over notes and keep multidisciplinary documentation into one area. Having an option to create quick phrases also makes daily documentation more efficient.

Change is Hard
We started with Fusion in 2017 and it was a really easy system to use. Since the buyout/merger, it has become harder to talk with customer service and there have been more times when the system is down. I often can't get the reports I used to run and have been told that will no longer be an option. Our experience in the beginning was more personal than what is available now.
Avantages
It's easy for new staff to learn how to use it. Being set up specifically for pediatric clinics makes it superior to those for adults/peds because the templates are only for your specific population of patients.
Inconvénients
The filters for making reports are not user friendly. I do not the new 'case' option because it gives more steps to scheduling. I often can't get legacy reports to run and have given up.

Fusion has great support for their product. I wish the support were open on the weekends or after our work hours to allow us to take care of things without interrupting the therapy schedule. Some other areas might be teletherapy-share screen and websites or videos

A Good Change For Our Company
We've enjoyed it so far. Yes, there are some things we have to work through, but it's worked for us.

The cost is more realistic than other EMRs we have used. Customer service is great and responsive.

Close but not quite
I have such a love hate relationship with fusion because I like some features such as goal tracking but I also feel I spend so much tie backtracking, fillinf in information I already have (like why are progress notes, evals, and re-evals so separate from daily notes? I wish I oculd pull things between then like the appointment time) and looking for where to put what I want (see above about templates)
Avantages
The pull forward button is invaluable and I like the use of separate cases for treatment plans. I love the goal tracking as well. And I. like the color customization options.
Inconvénients
I do not like how rigid the templates are. I wish I could either make my own template or just have a text box to type in mym thoughts. For example I do not enjoy the "gait" template at all. I find it clunky and even if I fill it out, I find I still do not have a clear picture of what he gait looks like. I just use the text box at the end, then there is all this unused or confusing blank spaces for information. Please let me customize notes and evals more. That would make this platform so much easier. Please.

Great options, easy to use
Overall I am happy with fusion. I think I would like to maybe have a wizard or something where I could select a topic and generate the options I frequently use so I don't have to go into an eval and search through all available options.
Avantages
I like that it is a pretty easy and user friendly system. I like that it has lots of options already available.
Inconvénients
The amount of options actually can make it a little harder to navigate and narrow down what you like. It takes a lot of time. I often end up sort of generating my own template in areas because the preloaded options can be time consuming to complete.

Overall Review of Fusion
It has been a five-fold improvement over the previous EMR system that we were using. Our therapists love it as well as the administrative staff.
Avantages
That it caters towards pediatrics. Second which is right up there with the first is the technical support that we are able to receive. It went through a little bit of turbulence a few years ago, however, it appears to be very good now.
Inconvénients
The fact that enhancement ideas are submitted and then voted upon by users. I would like to review what other people are thinking about and either vote yes or no to them, however, I do not have that type of time. I think that it is better for the programmers and business specialists to consider what enhancements to engage with.

Overall we like Fusion, help is always there when we reach out.

The simplicity of the submitting the claims.
Inconvénients
Not enough billing options, specifically for credit card detailed information. Some families like to have more than 1 payment option on their account and its hard to keep track of which payment to run if we can't put notes next to the payment line.

Fusion has made a huge difference
Fusion has changed the organizational dynamic for our small clinic. We have been able to establish systems and pull up reports as needed with ease.
Avantages
I like how it gives our clinic a sense of security in our organization and allows for therapy coverage across practitioners with the ease of pulling up information.
Inconvénients
The ability to open multiple windows at once such as a daily note and a progress note I am working on. This would make documenting quarterly and yearly documents as well as billing way easier and less time consuming.

I am very satisfied with FUSION. This software is a vital part of my private practice and I appreciate all that I am learning by using this software. Using this software makes me feel efficient with my SOAP notes, my scheduling, and my reports.
Avantages
The easy way to navigate to the areas that I need to work in; the format of the pages, and the immediate response from customer service when I am experiencing an issue with something.

Adequate overall experience. Generally satisfied with the software.

Inconvénients
Doesn't let us customize evaluation and add photos. Can't write a multidisciplinary evaluation. Also we have 6 clinics in our practice and some clients go to multiple clinics. It would be helpful if appointment reminders included a location.

User Friendly Reliably Software
I’ve had a good experience with Fusion so far, the software is intuitive and makes daily tasks much easier. The features included are exactly what you need, including their support team if you have questions.
Avantages
Fusion’s user friendly interface is easier to use than other programs my clinic has used previously. You don’t need to be a tech wiz to figure it out!

I think Fusion is one of the best platforms out there for medical professionals who want to run an organized and efficient business. A wonderful experience. I am glad I went with Fusion as our EMR. The onboarding was smooth, the support is timely and efficient and it helps our operations run smoother in our practice.

It is intuitive, user friendly and has GREAT support. I can always reach someone if I need assistance.

It has room to grow in Insights and reporting. I cannot track the metrics I want to track. Therapists are happy. It is frustrating as a business owner.

Physical Therapist review of fusion documentation and scheduling.
Overall I have been happy with using Fusion at my physical therapy clinic. Most of it is much easier to use than our previous EMR. It would be nice to be able to do a little more customization for the schedule and be able to pull forward a few other things on the progress notes/reassessments.
Avantages
Moving through different screens and documents is quick and seamless. Faxing directly from the website is helpful. Signing off on assistant documents is quick and easy. Quick phrases make documenting quicker and easier.
Inconvénients
The schedule can be a little tricky because it is easy to bump a time slot accidentally and sometimes the information gets in the way when you move the cursor and hover over a scheduled patient. It would be nice to be able to have more than one screen up at a time, such as the patient card at the same time as a daily note.

We Recommend!
Overall, it's great and I would recommend other practices to use Fusion. It is user friendly, the patient portal is a nice feature, once you get a hang of the billing, it is easy to do.
Avantages
Very easy to use, not overly complicated but also has a lot to offer for features.
Inconvénients
The reports. They seem to either be inaccurate or not able to pull a report on the data we need. This is most unfortunate because the reports is the main reason we switched the Fusion.
Also, the lack of updating testing materials is difficult for our therapists.

I enjoy Fusion overall. I find it very user friendly. Aspects of the program I find difficult to navigate are constantly being updated, which I appreciate.

Good EMR for therapsists
It has been a good not too complicated system to use with a variety of options for a variety of therapists needs for documentation.
Avantages
It’s nice to be able to pull forward the previous notes every week and adjust, it’s nice to have billing connected to the notes, it is fast to sign on and does not have times where the system was shut down like our previous EMR. It is nice to be able to see other therapists schedules .
Inconvénients
Having to change the password so often, that there isn’t a way for the new goals at each reassessment to automatically populate to the next week’s note. Having to do a discharge summary after an eval where I am not recommending services in order for the patient to show up as discharged.

I love Fusion. We tried switching to Prompt a few years ago and came running back to Fusion. It is so easy to use and to train new users.
Avantages
Fusion is very user friendly. I like how easy it is to learn new processes and how receptive the Fusion team is to new ideas and suggestions.
Inconvénients
There is no access to the patient chart in the billing section. I think there should be a button to pull up the chart quickly.

I have used Fusion since 2020 (our clinic let us start during the pandemic) and it made documentation SO much better, streamlined and being able to share info/ goals/ calendars from our prior system was a game-changer.
Avantages
I like the calendar and user friendly-data tracking of the goals portion of the software.
Inconvénients
That I can't "pull forward" from a re-assesment to a progress note/ vice versa.

Its ok, i dont love it due to too many missing components that impact my ability to gather information for reports making it not a great

I love the soap note set up and that the goals are separated, I love that the birthday is calculated in years, months and day (helpful for reports)

I don’t like that when i go into appointments i cant view the types of appointments (telehealth vs in clinic) and i have to know those details for writing reports, i dont like there is no calculation for hours on the calendar view page and i have to generate a report and count up my hours, I don't like that is no way to show total sessions when in appointment view so i have to count the session to get a total of sessions for reports

Overall Feedback on Fusion
Overall, I think Fusion is an okay documentation site. Its good exposure to trying other websites for documentation in the future and if the facility uses Fusion that's even better.
Avantages
i liked how easy it was to format diagnostic reports and progress notes. Depending on if the client was an adult or child you could delete certain details that were irrelevant to that individual.
Inconvénients
I had difficulty with adding goals. At times I would attempt to add a goal but it would only do a long term goal and not short-term goals. Whenever I asked classmates they told me a complete roundabout way of doing it and it worked but that was an annoying about fusion. Also, the professors really did not know how to run Fusion, it was all on the students to figure it out. Even with scheduling and changing client times and days was tricky to figure out because I would change a time and date but then I couldn't type a SOAP note up. Then, Trying to delete old SOAP notes when client's cancelled and Fusion would tell me that this client on such and such a date you need to do there SOAP note and I couldn't figure out how to delete it.

Great experience with Fusion
Overall usage is great. Some features could be improved but overall, love Fusion and the ease of using it.

The ease of navigating tabs, client’s charts, and documentation layout.
Inconvénients
I don’t like that there isn’t a preset for make up appts. It would be nice if when you pull up a client’s appt list you can see what’s a “normal visit” and what is a “make up” appt. It would be faster way of checking instead of having to filter through therapist’s schedules.

Avantages
Fusion helps me stay organized, manage my caseload, stay on top of keeping documentation timely, and has never lost any of my data/documents. I have used many billing platforms over the last 15 years, and Fusion is my favorite.
Inconvénients
I wish there was a way to include students I am supervising without giving them my login/pw. There is but it means paying more. I work for a state funded non-profit so extra cost is problematic.

Lack of support/customer service
Awful. Customer service is the worst. No one seems to actually want to help fix the problems as a whole.
Avantages
Data storage, ability to carry over items from previous documents. It has potential but customer service holds it back from reaching its full potential.
Inconvénients
The customer service aspect is awful. We have reached out several times to aid in Medicaid billing. We even reached a manager via email. He has yet to respond and fix the problem. We are still having to do Medicaid billing by hand. Considering what we as a small clinic pay per month for services I would expect more. So that is why my rating is so low. Customer service is everything and Fusion is the worst at actually fixing the problem.

User Friendly for Therapists
Avantages
Very user friendly for therapists. No longer a new grad, but when I was a new grad it was easy to figure out Fusion. The option to pull forward information from the previous note is very handy. The opportunity to create quick phrases is very helpful for evaluations to speed up the documentation and the goal bank is great for the goals therapists find themselves using frequently.
Inconvénients
You are unable to see the fax cover sheet or what you typed on the fax cover sheet after you send a fax. There also is no page for admin to see all the faxes that have been sent. This makes it difficult when a physician calls to ask a question specifically from the therapist who sent the fax and without access to see all the faxes sent or the cover sheets, we are unable to know who the therapist was without asking the whole staff and often the therapist does not remember what they sent on the fax cover sheet.

Good in comparision to other EMRs used for private practice.
Avantages
Easy on use for scheduling and therapy evaluations and notes. Billing remit system is great to send to insurance.
Inconvénients
The cost is very high since I have many therapists. Invoicing patients is difficult and time consuming. Intake forms are good but billed with per user, so they are too expensive and I will have to cancel due to the high cost. Support (help) used to be availble via chat but now it seems like taht is no longer an option.

7 year Fusion User
Overall we have had a great experience with Fusion. We have used it for 7 years in our private practice.
Avantages
I like that it is "pediatric specific", so as a pediatric clinic, we are not have to weed out extra "adult" templates that we don't need. I like how it looks "visually", and scheduling is easy to do.
Inconvénients
I don't like that you only have a "co-pay" option that attached to each payment. I really wish there was an option to attach to each payment that would state how much they owe at each visit (even if it's not a co-pay). I also think that the reports are difficult to run.

Fusion. Quick and painless
It’s simple to navigate. I can write notes quickly. Everything is saved under the patient. I can look a patient up easily.

The ease of pulling forward previous information.
Inconvénients
Not being able to add a document within the persons profile but have to navigate to a different section to add it.

Efficient, but could use some cleanup of visibility.
Fusion has been pretty smooth and efficient overall. It has different experiences based on your role at the clinic and some features would be better shared between roles, such as ease of seeing future appointments from the calendar.
Avantages
The ease of writing daily notes and how quickly I can finish documentation.
Inconvénients
Trying to find patient schedule information and the fact that there's not an option to copy from notes further back than the last one.

Good work Fusion
I've enjoyed getting to use Fusion over the past two years. I think it is an EMR system that is able to get the job done and keep our systems working efficiently.
Avantages
Easy to use and train new staff members on. I love the insights that are available to track our statistics!
Inconvénients
There are some small details that would be helpful to our workflow such as putting a contacts relationship to the patient in, being able to add start and end dates to insurance which would then direct claims appropriately, or even having an icon on the schedule to know when someone's birthday is coming up.

Fusion is a great resource
Very positive, I like the outline and concept of it a lot. It is very easy to manage and get my notes done on any device. I would recommend this to other clinicians.
Avantages
Very organized and easy to use and figure out!
Inconvénients
Sometimes I accidentally press the erase button on the right side of sections in the evaluations, which is infuriating. It would be nice if they made those buttons smaller to prevent accidents.

Use fusion
Overall I have no issues with fusion, I use it for work purposes and it gets the job done.
Avantages
It’s very user friendly and convenient. There are tabs that break down for each topic and most things can be edited or changed if there is a mistake made.
Inconvénients
The continuous log in. It would be more practical if it remind logged in longer from current devices, however I do understand privacy concerns.

Great for scheduling and patient information, but needs to be better for billing
Overall great experience, but I wish there was a little more versitality when it comes to billing experience. I have watched a lot of the webinars and they are helpful, but I wish it was easier for the billers. I find there is a lot of struggles on the billing side.
Avantages
I like the way to input information and that we can schedule easily.
Inconvénients
I do not like that there is not an option to to put different copays or Co-insurances for each therapy. There needs to be multiple disciplined co-pay/co-in and also a way to link Insurances to the portal to keep up with deductibles and Out of pocket
