Fusion is great!
Overall it meets our needs very well. We see children and adults for physical medicine services.
Avantages
Fusion allows us to manage so many areas of our practice from one place! I love the integration between profiles, patient records, claims, billing, portal. The new customized intake forms are a BIG bonus!
Inconvénients
It is improving, but I wish there was more flexibility in the reports. I wish that any field from the profile could be pulled into a report.

Good enough.
It has been fine, but there are efficiencies and visuals that I wish were better. I also think the costing of all the little things adds up quickly and it gets expensive.
Avantages
Billing is easy and efficient. It's quick to get started.
Inconvénients
The view of the calendar with multiple clinicians is incredibly overwhelming - I hate that you can't see the entire day on a screen - I wish we could change the sizing of the rows. I also think there should be better tracking of who puts what in where. I also wish we could hide things on the evaluations, because it's way too much for clinicians to sort through.

Comprehensive, but room for improvement
Fusion is a decent option for a pediatric therapy clinic. It has many features that are necessary for running a clinic like scheduling, billing, and documentation. I think a foundational issue with Fusion, however, is that the whole system needs an overhaul to keep up with technology and the needs of clinics.
While Fusion does add features (i.e. intake paperwork last year), it takes a long time to get anything added, and there are underlying issues (like the fee schedules) that have been requested for a long time. Things like the fee schedules would make several parts of the system more useable. I've used several EMRs in my search for the elusive perfect system, and I would potentially switch to a more modernized EMR if my staff wouldn't hate me for switching again!
Avantages
The way notes are setup. They allow you to easily create a SOAP note and track goal data.
Inconvénients
Billing and reports. Fusion doesn't allow you to create fee schedules for different insurance companies, so billing can be difficult to reconcile and reports dealing with actual dollars aren't accurate.

Life Changing!
It's been great. We've got several users and very few complaints. Its very user friendly! I do wish I knew more on how to pull reports because i'm sure we could use it to be more efficient in other ways, I'm just not that familiar with how to pull them so I don't use it that often.

The convenience and organization of finding/searching for clients.
Inconvénients
It was hard to get used to in the beginning but once I got used to it, it was actually so much nicer than what we used to use. The only thing I sometimes find difficult to remember is adding cases so our therapists can bill. I didn't have to do that before so it's something I often forget.

Best pediatric software out there
Overall, I think Fusion is the best pediatric practice management software out there. I would recommend it to any pediatric practice; however, I'd caution them to be prepared to problem-solve on your own.
Avantages
Fusion is an all-in-one practice management system. Overall, it is intuitive and user-friendly, with a fairly deep "knowledge base" for accessing information about product features and updates. The reports or "Insights" feature can be a very robust addition to anyone's practice. I like that it is pediatric therapy-specific.
Inconvénients
While the "new" Insights offers the user added flexibility for reporting, it is not for the faint of heart, in that it can be a little difficult in some cases to generate the information needed. In some cases, I am not able to generate practice information I am seeking. To that end, I also find that Fusions customer support has decreased over the 9-ish years our practice has used the system. In the past, it was relatively easy to obtain support; currently, I am unable to obtain answers to our inquiries. It has been made more difficult to connect with Fusion Support.

Fusion, Poor Customer Service and No Way Off This Ride.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SOFTWARE. The add on costs alone make it just as expensive as other platforms that don’t have those add on fees. In addition, auto renewals that can’t be avoided unless you give a full 90 days notice is absolutely insane, especially when I have 60 days but since it’s not 90 I’m told I need to pay for an entire additional year which is crazy because I didn’t get a new contract when they switched from Fusion to Fusion by Therapy Brands nor when they raised my monthly rate so I’m really just fed up at this point
Avantages
Fusion was a decent platform that made billing and documentation relatively easy. I had to set up a large portion of it to be the way that worked best for my clinic, but overall the set up was decent. Honestly it was a great product UNTIL Therapy Brands took it over.
Inconvénients
DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE. So many things are add on costs/per usage cost on a system that is already pricey, especially for solo/smaller practices. On top of that, customer support is slow if existent at all. I had an issue with the intake forms flat out not being sent to or usable by my clients families (this is an add on cost to use so I paid for something that didn’t work) and was told basically to “just resend it, thanks for reaching out, we’ve now closed this case” as if 1. I hadn’t already attempted to re-send and 2. Like that was the only possible fix and they’d done their due diligence with that advice for a service I WAS PAYING EXTRA FOR NOT WORKING. At no point was refunding or compensating offered. And to top it all off, we pay monthly when we signed on to use fusion at no point were we told our contract would auto renew or that we would be locked into a whole additional year if we didn’t provide written notice 90 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE AUTO-RENEWAL DATE and now they’re claiming we will need to pay for an entire year of service because we notified them only 60 Days ahead of the switch instead of 90 days.

Good product for streamline work
Overall, I have been happy with Fusion compared to other products. I find it more efficient than previous systems, but I think it could be more user-friendly.
Avantages
Streamlines goals, documents, and daily notes, simplifying data collection and analysis. I love the way the forms look after completion, including when the graphs are included. I like the ability to build a goal bank and use quick phrases.
Inconvénients
I wish the items could be edited and modified by the user, even for organization purposes (e.g. organizing the goal bank). It is also difficult for employees to access and see options for the goals and quick phrases (there is no communicating box that shows this pre-made information). I wish Fusion followed Med B documentation guidelines, including allowing managers to make certain fields required to ensure compliance.

Adequate But Could Be Amazing
Overall, it is a better system than the previous EMR our company used. There are still many areas for growth however. It would be great to see a customizable WIP (Work In Progress) List to keep track of active charts for insurance auths/intake paperwork needed or expiring/signed document missing or needing attention/etc. It would be great to have a central, editable list such as this to go in a mark completed for specific items, instead of searching through every active chart. My reference for this would be previous experience using another EMR system called OPIE Patient Management.
Avantages
The amount of customizable features for reports are extremely helpful.
Inconvénients
The amount of new feature roll-outs that don't acknowledge the many suggestions and inputs on the Fusion Help site are a dismay and is often frustrating, feeling like ideas are pointedly missed. Many features that do end up being added in, are often extra cost, despite already paying premiums for the Fusion EMR.

Disappointing Flexibility and Customization Options, But Useful Data Access
Overall, I appreciate Fusion Web Clinic for some of its features, but its lack of flexibility makes it hard to fully rely on for all of my practice’s needs. I’m hoping for an update that will allow for more customization and user-driven changes in the future.
Avantages
I appreciate being able to pull tables for data tracking. However, I’d like to see the option to include more granular data, like the date/time stamp and the username. This would help me track actions more precisely and streamline workflows.

Fusion review
Overall pretty good. The therapists love it!
Avantages
I LOVE the look of the reports, the ease of documentation, and how Fusion is set up to make documentation quick and easy.
Inconvénients
It feels really clunky. There are things that should be easy but are not. For example, when we added a location to our offices, we tried to add the location to existing clients who had set appointments in a series. As part of that series, their re-evaluations were pre-scheduled. When we changed the location, it erased the re-evaluations. Things like that should not be happening and make using Fusion really frustrating. We also are very frustrated that Fusion will not allow integration with any other software. We wanted to integrate with TimeTap as part of a larger patient experience and ease-of-scheduling package, but Fusion would not allow the integration. We are considering changing EMRs because of this. I'm sure it's because Fusion wants everyone to pay for those features through them, but it feels like you are keeping your clients handcuffed and intentionally limiting their potential and making things more difficult for them. You need to allow people the freedom to add different APIs that will make work-flow easier, even if it is from outside companies. Your clients will not leave- they will appreciate you more for it. Also, the billing side of Fusion is really difficult. You need to get with a few billers who can offer suggestions on how to make it more user-friendly. I even had a biller that wouldn't work with me because I use Fusion.

Great EMR with room for improvement
It was a great move for my business overall. I see where improvements could be made. I would love to see an admin add on account. I wish there were more self help information

Lots of features that help me to streamline my work. I love the integrated fax (would be better if it was a real line that would receive as well). I appreciate the checks and balances for getting tracking documentation and claims. I love quick phrases
Inconvénients
I wish the fee structure was more friendly for smaller practices. It is frustrating that a single therapist can't have administrative help without paying significantly more. I pay top dollar and love to recommend Fusion, but others aren't confident paying up.
I wish there was a way to streamline more. I want to customize my evaluation but don't know how. The online customer support articles / videos, etc. are sparse. My last EMR was much better in this department (Theranest)

Horrible fusion, they won't cancel my contract even though its been a year
Horrible besides scheduling. They do not make patient accounts functional and I am losing money and adding more work causing me to lose money. On top of that they make you put each cat code in and amounts of money. I had therapists leave my clinic and it messed up my notes/documentation. As an admin iu should era able to fix what ever I want. You guys have severely hurt my business and I will never ever reccomend fusion after tuning a practice with you guys and then to not allow me to cancel. Trust me you are not going to get more customers if you can figure this out. You are hurting my practice so much.

Everything. My company is struggling and fusion is hurting my practice and I reached out to cancel and change to help save my practice and there is like NO way to contact anyone and someone responded and said I have to be stuck until next February. I am literally struggling and it is hurting my practice and spoke to multiple people and they agree that it is not user friendly. I Have told several people not to come to you guys. I am changing to simple practice as it's functional and I can change whatever as an ADMIN. and I will take all of my therapists off. I have already posted all over the therapy pages because you will not allow my contract to end.

Fusion for Wonder
We really like fusion overall as it is easy to navigate and helps us to stay compliant with documentation and billing.
Avantages
It’s user-friendly and comes with just about anything that you could need for a private practice. We do our own billing and fusion has been easy to navigate from start to finish with generating claims all the way to adjudication of claims. Notes are also easy to complete with standard soap note format.
Inconvénients
Fusion can get expensive for practices of any size. There are add-ons for texting messaging, faxes, and telehealth.

I will continue using it but if/when people ask about EMRs i encourage them to look at other options as fusion is very expensive.

I dis like that I pay nearly 1000/month yet get charged for features that are included at a lower price with other EMRs (texting, virtual visits). These should just be included.

Multi Discipline Practice Experience with Fusion
Overall we have been happy with Fusion as a whole due to the fact that we like the daily documentation and report writing side of things, but we do not feel that the billing side of the product is as user friendly as it should be.
Avantages
The templates and work flow for notes makes sense for pediatric therapy. The functions to carry forward information are also very helpful.
Inconvénients
The reports are very clunky and not very useful from the ownership side of the practice. There are also several functions on the billing side of things with statements and invoicing that are not user friendly to billers or to the consumers.

Lack of support
Scheduling and documentaion are great, gathering information for reports on our business productivity, revenue etc are not accurate.

When we first onboarded we appreciated all of the support BUT the last month or so we have not had very good customer support, we have noticed some errors on the insight feature which significantly affects our reports and our business. We have reached out to support and the response is very delayed and our issues are still not resolved. We have emailed several people and they have not gotten back to us.

It is getting more negative as time goes on. Less and less appealing features.
Avantages
Clinical dictation is okay, easy for our therapist to navigate. The cosigning/collaborator feature is horrible.
Inconvénients
everything else. Billing features are horrendous. Scheduling features are horrendous. Lack of tracking is horrendous. Supposed to be geared for PT/ST/OT however you cannot even set up co-treat appointments.

Great Customer Support and Customization for Growing Businesses
Overall, I have been enjoying my experience with Fusion. They are receptive and customizable up to a point. I am learning about new features all the time and appreciate the hard work their development team puts in. I would recommend this software for any small businesses.
Avantages
Customer support will always try to help you with your issues. They are wonderful about listening to what features we want in the future. I enjoy the customization of reports and am always finding new ways to improve my productivity.

The speed of updates being rolled out. Our business has been growing fast so we need a program that can keep up with our speed. While I love Fusion, there are some features that we absolutely NEED now.

Great, user-friendly EMR
Fusion is the best EMR I have worked with in my career. It is easy to find and update information, create reports, and track client data for therapy.
Avantages
Fusion is very user-friendly and fast. Support staff are responsive to feedback and answer questions quickly. It is easy to pull data for reports.
Inconvénients
I wish Fusion had more customization options, such as displaying the number of therapy hours on the calendar screen. I also wish report fields were better able to be mixed and matched to create custom reports. Sometimes the reports and updates impact user functionality but are not announced in advance, creating issues at times.

A better Fusion future
After learning the use of Fusion/reports/schedules/calendar I like this software, just after using other therapy software wish this was more "suggestion updates"
Avantages
Designed for Therapy clinics, and the Calendar option, colors. Love the Message option in Fusion. Really like the Filters, and change fields options.
Inconvénients
Having used other Therapy software in the past/ there are limits w/ Fusion. Entering NP w/ sibling and having to create the same information/repeated. If option for sibling/same family/Information would pull.
Some of the suggestions that are turned in, to have to get votes to have Fusion consider an update. It would be most beneficial if ALL suggestions were viewed by the software designers and added, not just if it's a majority vote. That would allow Fusion to charge for upgrades more often.

User-Friendly and easy to manage
Fusion works really well for our clinic and our team is really happy with it.
Avantages
Fusion is the most user-friendly EMR system that I've used. Even with in-house billing, we can contact the Fusion billing team to ask questions and get help. Responses always come within a timely manner. The in-take forms in the patient portal has simplified and streamlined that part of the in-take process.
Inconvénients
Some of the insights aren't as functional as they could be and I'd really like to run reports based on Deductible and Out-of-Pocket amounts but can't.
It would be nice if Fusion tracked the initial creation and then any changes with patient files and their scheduling, such as who moved the appt., when it was moved, etc. Tracking communication with families, linked in the patient file for emails sent (invoices and appt. reminders), texts (appt. reminders) to make it easier to pull up the billing contact history for families.

Fusion Review
I previously worked for a hospital system that used EPIC. Nothing will ever compare to the ease and functionality of EPIC. Fusion is just a much less complex system and therefore less user friendly and less functional. It just is what it is.
Avantages
Easy to read and scan quickly, easy to navigate, quick to learn.
Inconvénients
I HATE that you can't have multiple tabs to have multiple charts open or have a chart open and documentation note at the same time. I hate having to get in and out of documentation to check through a chart or open another chart.

Fusion is a good management system for my practice.
It has been a positive experience using Fusion and using your biller. One issue I have is that I still have to chase the problems with billing when they arise. For example, I have to spend a considerable amount of time troubleshooting complications with Medicaid. Also, I would like to be informed when additional billing codes are allowed for patients.
For instance, a new caregiver training billing code is now allowed. I would have liked to have been notified by billing of this.
Avantages
I like the ease with which I can see my schedule and the way I can see what I have yet to do, whether it is an evaluation report or notes.
Inconvénients
I have difficulty changing goals and objectives. The criteria for the data cannot be changed. I see kids for multiple months and even years. I want to be able to change the criteria for objective completion.

Great EMR system, needing some adjustments
Overall, I enjoy Fusion, but I believe there can be some adjustments to help make documentation quicker for therapists (as noted above).
Avantages
I like how easy it is to write a SOAP note. I like the ability to check boxes when writing an initial eval and adding comments on the side as necessary. the pull forward button is extremely helpful.
Inconvénients
I don't like that when you pull forward, it is just from previous note. It would be helpful to have a pull forward option for an "Activity" so that if you don't use it 1 week, you can still click on it and pull forward the last information that you put into that section (even if it was a few sessions ago). I also dislike how when previewing an initial eval, we can't just make edits in the preview. I find myself having to write notes on the side as I'm going through the preview to then go back and make the edits separately, which becomes time consuming.
