One of the best MFA interface
1. Very good app for MFA.
Avantages
1. Very good MFA authentication tool.

Single Sign On Savior
Overall, we are happy and make no plans to leave our single sign on savior!
Avantages
Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Love the security aspect and how it keeps all my business apps in one place. Reporting is good for admins.

Okta for two-step verification
It has been great! I love the ease of use that it offers since I was able to set up a two step verification process
Avantages
Okta is a product that offers you a simple two-step verification process, just simply install the product on any smartphone then link it to you account and you're set to use it.
Inconvénients
Sometimes when using this product there is a delay between the server and the product so you'll have to wait to accept the two step verification.

Very positive. I would recommend Okta to any company.
Avantages
The best part about Okta is not having to remember a million passwords to the million softwares we use everyday.
Inconvénients
I don't love when I have to get a very code sent to my phone when I haven't used Okta for a few days.

Now all our SaaS tools are secure and our clients safe
We needed to control access to our API's and also keep a track of events that could be critical for security of the network. Okta does all this for us
Avantages
Due to client demand we needed to implement certain security features like two-factor authentification and protecting our API usage. Okta had all the features we were looking for and they havent failed us over the past year
Inconvénients
The pricing is a bit steep but that the cost to pay for peace of mind

Easy to Get Started
Avantages
It was pretty simple to get logged in and get the plugins for my apps. I liked that I could just click the app or site I needed to go to and it would log me in pretty seamlessly. I liked that it kept track of all my passwords It's a pretty cool and handy application.
Inconvénients
I would update my passwords(or thought I did) but sometimes they wouldn't update on Okta. May have been just user error on my part though.

Working Great
Ever since our company switched, logging into the different services has been normalized and smooth. Okta allows the user to manage their own 2FA config.
Avantages
Okta has been working great since we switched over. Lets me control my own two-factor settings without getting IT involved. Normalizes the experience of logging into our VPN and 3rd-party services. I have not had any issues since we switched.
Inconvénients
The only issue I've run into is that because they use webauthn for their U2F 2FA, the browser used by some SSO Windows applications that use their own integrated browser to interface, do not work, like our VPN client. I wonder if it'd work if they use the simpler U2F interface.

Not the most efficient app
Not that happy with this app.
Avantages
I don’t really like anything about it. My job uses it to log in clock ins and clock outs. The app is very glitchy and laggy. Takes a while to load.
Inconvénients
It takes forever to load and it requires multiple steps to complete simple tasks.

Avantages
Okta is a secure tool for identity management with Single Sign-On, Multi-factor Authentication, Lifecycle Management, and more. I use it daily to access company apps and services, which provides an easy to use and secure environment.
Inconvénients
MFA requires a 2nd step (authorization code) to authenticate your identity on new devices, but it is more secure and worth the time to validate.

Best sign-in manager.
Avantages
It is very simple to use. The procedures to get into the application are very easy. No previous knowledge is required to understand its functionality. The task of re-typing your passwords is now minimal since this application solves that very problem. They have both Android and iPhone versions, apart from the desktop version. Since there are a lot of applications already enrolled, it becomes easier to use.
Inconvénients
The support team is not very helpful. The fact that they charge you for having a conversation with their support team seemed ridiculous. Also, the very application when all the necessary features are added is quite expensive.

Logins Made Easy
Avantages
I've never had an SSO software before so I don't know if there are others like Okta. Using Okta makes navigating all of the software your company uses a breeze because you can just click a button and you're logged in. Easy as that.
Inconvénients
You have to receive a verification email or notice every 14 days to log in to the software. I wish they had a 30 day or 60 day option so you didn't have to do this so often

Okta SSO - ID management - Good stuff
As an admin, Okta has been very helpful in provisioning users accounts and assigning apps. The OAN is growing by the day and includes most of the web apps that we use daily. Deactivating accounts is easy as our accounts are all AD mastered and all accounts and downstream apps are deactivated when the AD account is disabled. However, that won't happen until Okta actually syncs with the AD manager server, so one must be diligent during time sensitive terminations (but that's our job, right?). As a user, I really enjoy the single login. Multi-factor Authentication provides piece of mind once you get past thinking of it as a hassle. I like that I can log in from anywhere to just about all my apps.
Avantages
Ease of use once set up, growing selection of apps in the OAN, easy provisioning and de-provisioning of apps and user accounts
Inconvénients
AD sync is not real time and the minimum setting is 1 hour.
Frequently used Admin controls are buried in the interface.

Avantages
Okta gets my vote for being far more intuitive than any of the competition out there in the market place.

There is room for improvement in the Okta Mobility Management product, however this isn't personally applicable to my self currently.

Overall, Okta is a helpful app to secure your apps and business’s software. However the security can be so high that it’s a difficult app to utilize.

Okta, is a helpful and useful app to control privacy for a large corporation. The consistent prompts for adding in your Okta code can be frustrating and delay business.
Inconvénients
There are a few occasions where you will try to login to your account and they offer an error called, “bad request”. This happens more often than not and can be extremely frustrating.

An application that makes access and identity management an easy task!
Avantages
Installing and setting up the application is a very simple process. It didn't take me much time to get used to Okta. It has helped us save a lot of time by eliminating the need to type and retype passwords huge number of times. The support team has been extremely responsive to our concerns and issues were solved with in hours. The integration with the AD (active directory) has been seamless, within seconds we were able to import information and create accounts. In addition to thousands of applications in their catalog, they keep adding more each day.
Inconvénients
I found that the report generation features aren’t up to the mark. When we wanted to delete some accounts, I couldn't do it myself and had to get help from a customer support agent. What they said was we can only deactivate, but not delete them. I needed it to be removed from everywhere in fact.

Finally...no need for 10 different passwords
There are ways to improve it I believe, perhaps adding external websites that the overall company isn't in control of since different departments use different softwares.

It is a big pain to have 10 different passwords for different softwares/websites that have different password requirements that expire at different times. Okta is the solution as a hub.
Inconvénients
Can't complain as before this I had a spreadsheet with all my passwords.

Okta increases productivity
Okta is great. It removes some monotony from the day which is always appreciated
Avantages
It puts an array of business apps that I use everyday all into one super handy place where I can access them all on a single sign on. Remembering one password beats remembering 6 that is for sure!
Inconvénients
The only con is when there is a server error or something doesn't load but then loads just fine outside of Okta but this is rare

1. I like how easy it is to set up for the first time. We synced up AD to it with very little work, or issue.
2. I love how easy it is to add new applications and maintain our instance.
3. It's very easy to use. We rarely have issues with end users.
4. There are a lot of built in application setups already, which makes it easy to add most software.
5. The documentation and app setup walkthroughs are great.
Inconvénients
1. Their customer service is pretty bad. I deal with a lot of vendors and this is one of my least favorites to have to call.
2. While their application documentation is good, the rest of their documentation is pretty hit or miss. I'd say the majority are good, but several are just not very useful at all.
3. While it's easy to administer, this comes at the cost of some customizability.

This is a good software for putting internal apps onto for a single-sign on portal that uses AD so you do not have to enter passwords. It allows for seamless transition to those internal apps without the need to sign on.
Inconvénients
So far there is nothing that I have not liked as long as it is set up correctly.

It is quiet convenient and beneficial for the intra organizational integrations. It brings accessibility and ability to contact any department with ease.

It is so easy to use. We have everything from HR , IT helpdesk, accounting , CRM, LMS, salesforce ...everything integrated into this platform. Looks like everything is just a click away, So much easier than saving individual links. We use this to also access into our ADP clock in clock out app. so basically our day starts and ends with logging into okta

It does not lets you access all the integrations on the mobile app. when i login using my phone, some of the links are grayed out.

Single Signon
Overall, my experience with Okta is wonderful. I enjoy using it and at this point, wouldn't go back to a time when I didn't have it.
Avantages
We use many programs and platforms in our day to day. Each one wants it's own password and username. Enter Okta. Otka allows me to sign into many platforms from a single and easy to use dashboard. I also feel secure when using it.
Inconvénients
In my opinion, there are no cons to Okta. It is easy to use, gives me quick and easy access, and seems secure.

I have had a whole lot of passwords and usernames to remember for various apps used in everyday work; Okta simplifies matters by saving your credentials and making everything more accessible

The app has simplified signing in. The good part is it offers mobile apps which integrate with apple watch and apple iphone seamlessly providing an easy way to get push notifications code. Enterprise SSO
Avantages
Super secure, also it allows you to not have to secondary sign in when it recognizes the location you are signing in at is somewhere you've signed in before. The chrome extension is also really handy to get to all of your apps.
Inconvénients
Really there isn't anything I dislike about Okta, maybe that you have to sign in everyday but it doesn't inconvenience me very much.

We moved to Okta from another tool and Okta felt just so much easier to use and safer.

I love it, but it can have it's own drawbacks as you are dependent in someone to add new software.

If you want to add a new application, it becomes a problem because you need to contact the Okta admin in order to add that app to your portal, which takes hours sometimes.

I love how easily Okta keeps my data, information, and passwords secure. Giving me the peace of mind in knowing that my information is not at risk for me or my company.
Inconvénients
Sometimes it can make signing it to new apps difficult, and it seems to add time. However, it truly is only a few seconds but keeps my data secure. Good tradeoff.

Best experience I could have asked for. It makes it so easy to log into one account and get access to all of my accounts. I love that I only have to memorize one password and since I work for a cyber security company it makes it easier for us to keep things secure. Also, the Chrome Extension is nice!
Inconvénients
The interface could look a lot better and sometimes the brand logos don't load so it's harder to find what you need.

Well organized, excellent tool set
I really enjoy using this platform to organize and connect with teams.
Avantages
Easy to navigate and there are plenty of different tools to use. I utilize Planner to organize my projects and SharePoints to share information with teams.
Inconvénients
Sometimes there is too much freedom and you might not be sure of the best way to organize a team - OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint.

Okta is great for improved security
Okta is in my opinion necessary for any business, especially large ones with lots of administrators, contractors, employees, etc.
Avantages
For our purposes, Okta is simply used to authenticate users of the University's online portal. It does its job seamlessly and helps to make sure the right users are in the right place. Okta is compatible on a ton of different software products, so it is pretty much industry standard.
Inconvénients
No cons come to mind with regard to Okta. My only gripe is that with Okta in place, it takes a few seconds longer to log on, but that is so trivial and is worth the few extra seconds.

Amazing and secure cloud app
Great experience. I would absolutely highly recommend it.
Avantages
I liked how easy it was to navigate through different programs and how secure it was in opening them. It was sort of like how the I phone has all the apps that you can open, but this has more security.
Inconvénients
I didn’t like how some programs couldn’t be found in okta when looked up through the search tab. Other than that it’s a great app.

Okta Review
I don't have a problem with Okta but I think you need to create a habit to sign in to it to get to your tools
Avantages
Helpful in the sense that it has a majority of the tools I use on a daily basis on one page.
Inconvénients
This is more at the fault of my organization, but it was sold to us to reduce the amount of times that we need to sign in and now everything has secondary authorizations so it has almost created more lost time for signing in to accounts.
