If you set up the push notification mode, it can send it twice, making it confusing.

Good product!
Overall, I like using Okta, it seems to work well. However, I recommend that some improvements be made.
Avantages
I like that Okta allows for secure sign-in to all apps with the SSO. Easy to use and navigate the dashboard with apps.
Inconvénients
What I don't like is that sometimes it seems to glitch or run slow when opening an application. Also, the mobile app never saves my login info or site address, so anytime I want to use it, I have to type in all that information. Also, when I login on the app, it's the same as the web browser, which I don't like because it makes it harder to navigate.

Easy Security
Overall from the security aspect the tool has been working wonderful and we feel secured
Avantages
Recently our org switched to Okta and overall experience have been great. The tool adds the much needed security and also can be easily integrated with many tools.
Inconvénients
It may be our setup issue, however, if you switch phones where the Okta is registered then the whole profile is required to be reset and only admins can do that.

Necessary Software
It was a user-friendly software and did not require much training on our end which was helpful. I would recommend this.
Avantages
This is a must-have for Listrak. It keeps everything safe and gives the employees and our customers peace of mind that everything we see is only accessed by our employees.
Inconvénients
although it may be an adjustment and annoying for some people- there have been no issues with it and it is necessary to have.

An easy SSO solution!
Avantages
I love that Okta allows me to see all of my key work apps in one place and that it saves my password. It makes for an easy start to my day when I sit down at my desk, and it makes working remotely a breeze! An incredible value-add to my job that I can work from anywhere, sign into all of my logins easily and see everything at once!
Inconvénients
The biggest complaint is that my Okta sometimes does not save the right password when I set up a new account. I can always fix it, but this small piece can be frustrating.

Two-Factor made easy
For a mandatory two-factor authentication migration, this tool simplified it as much as is expected.
Avantages
Ease of accessing your two-factor code. I like that you don’t necessarily need to get a text message if you prefer Tobias the Okta app with a rotating series of codes you can use instead. Useful when you don’t have cel signal.
Inconvénients
Okta also works as a password/app secured and auto-login on most popular apps, but it’s still missing some normal ones outside of Office 365. So for those it stores the password for you but you have to do the extra step of logging in.

Easy way to keep your network secure. Can verify with push notifications or a code. Pretty solid overall.
Inconvénients
It can be somewhat annoying to verify every 24 hours, but the fact that it is a security precaution makes it a minor annoyance.

Access Management Made Easy
Overall it's a fantastic application and I would highly recommend it as a single sign-on solution for any tech company.
Avantages
Okta makes it very simple and convenient to access all of your applications and tools without having to remember all of your separate usernames and passwords. I also like how admins have the ability to restrict access to certain applications which ensures your employees are accessing only relevant software.
Inconvénients
Occasionally I will have to re-enter my passwords which kind of defeats the purpose of the platform.

SSO is the best!
Avantages
Single Sign on with okta makes everything easier. When you're using a million different apps for work, it's wonderful to only have to sign in with one tool every time.

Avantages
Thank goodness for not having to remember all the passwords anymore. Okta is one click and I can reach all my apps that I use daily. It's my first log in of the day.

Okta takes identity management to new heights!
Avantages
When it comes to securing company resources and making it easy for users to go to multiple different sites with one dashboard Okta has it covered. They've recently added automated password suggestions for new websites. It's a great addition to our IT suite of products.
Inconvénients
The password suggestion ability can be a bit too aggressive. It's constantly badgering me about passwords for some reason it thinks there's a spot to put in a password and pops up suggesting one. I'm sure with this new feature they'll fix this minor issue.

I love the Okta app dashboard. It keeps all the applicable apps to your role in one place, and with a single click you can securely sign into any of them.
Inconvénients
Honestly, sometimes the push notifications and some of the authentication processes can get cumbersome, but it all comes with good reason and really isn't that big of a deal.

Solves the toughest security and access challenges, the app gives you confidence which is really important for us. I really recommend it! :)

You can easily find all the apps, organize them and add as many as you want as long as they are authorized by your company.
Inconvénients
No, the integration with my existing business process is perfect, it's not even difficult to use I find it really easy to use. In the beginning, it might be a little confusing because you have a lot of apps you've never seen but when it becomes your everyday app you get the trick.

We moved from a different Authentication software to Okta and this was the easiest change ever done at Sword. So easy to use, intuitive and fast to set all configurations. Love the phone app, and the support is always available to help you.
Inconvénients
At the moment I do not have any suggestions. Everything as been working smoothly and in the best way. We all feel more secure and confident about using our laptops in different locations.

The Okta Mobile App provides a lot of useful benefits. The app authentication process is so seamless that it takes the pain out of using Multi-Factor authentication.
Inconvénients
Implementing change for large enterprise is always challenging. Okta can do a better job at providing change management best practices and guidance to help with end-use adoption.

OKTA does exactly what it is supposed to do, but it is quite annoying to use.
I think Okta does what it sets out to do, and it is easy to use.
Avantages
Its easy to log in to all of my okta protected apps because I only have one password to remember now across all of them.
Inconvénients
It is really annoying to have to log in to everything using okta, and that it shuts you out of everything after 30 days, making you re-login to all of your accounts once a month. I understand that this is a security feature, so the complaint is just that I don't like having to do this.

Amazing
The Mobility Management piece is great. The end-user downloads the app, signs in, and it has the capability to set their email up on their device for them.
If they don't have their computer, but still need to work, no problem! They go to the website, sign in, and all their stuff is there ready to go.
Avantages
Open browser, click app, Boom! You're ready to work!
Inconvénients
I would like the dashboard for the enrolled devices to be more in depth. I would love to be able to run reports on how many ipads are enrolled or how many iphones. Current report only says iOS vs Android.

Cloud Glue
Okta has been the glue for our cloud based applications. We have ultimately extending active directory into the clouds without implementing a complex federation configuration. Its allowed our cloud based/managed apps to integrated into Active Directory.

Easy to use, easy to implement, easy to administer
This is THE way to get all of your systems access organized in one place. Ensure the right people have access to the right systems, and more importantly, that the wrong people don't. Make sure they're using secure passwords. And make it EASY for them to do it by giving them a single login and password to a single site. If you have users that need to access multiple systems/platforms, look no further.
Avantages
Great support and team. Most integrations of any of their competitors. Not just a vendor; a partner.
Inconvénients
Not a fault of the platform, but the system is only as good as your own implementation and roll-out. And also, a lot of systems don't support SSO, so Okta mostly serves as a password manager at that point, but it's still valuable.

The single sign-on feature. It is simple and it makes you feel secure. Being required to approve the sign-on from the app helps me ease my mind. There is a level of protection I never felt before.
Inconvénients
Being logged out too frequently. I feel that I am logging into certain logins more than I should. However, I feel that # has decreased since I have used Okta more frequently.

We just only started using Okta. So far the verification for okta can be done via sms which resolves app download of the okta code generator.
Avantages
It's good that Okta allows you to verify that you are the actual person logging into the machine and applications.
Inconvénients
You have to verify yourself everyday and it gets annoying. It's security which my company is looking for.

Another layer of security
Cannot complain really. Security is important in business were people deal with customer information, and protecting that should be a priority. This is a good means to make it happen if you want to ensure only people who can pass this extra security step can access a system.
Avantages
I like that this tool has given us the option to add an extra layer of security to people accessing the company's customer data. We use this as an alternative when a similar tool cannot be set for someone. We have set it up so that when the service agents try to access their virtual computer, it sends them a message on their phone to confirm it is them in fact. This adds a good measure of security to avoid someone accessing someone else computer.
Inconvénients
Since it is a security measure, if someone goes wrong when setting it up, it can take a while to get it up and running. Once it is though it is really good.
