Tax issue resolved
I had talked to them before the holiday and we thought a problem was resolved. I called back in and we talked for about 5 minutes and the issue was resolved.

I have nothing to share negatively. I called in and had to wait about 10 minutes, which the day after a holiday was short.

Very good. Like the team we work with and like the product.
Avantages
The platform is easy to use. The team is very responsive and answers questions quickly. If you need to use support, they are very efficient and friendly and get it right the first time.

Typing minimum of 40 characters in each box

Gusto markets directly to our payroll customers and allows them to sign up for products without our knowledge or giving us access. The customers than expect that we are able to support them. Stay away!
Really terrible. Can't count the number of times I called to resolve issues to no avail.
Avantages
Really nothing - compared to other providers they offer no advantages.
Inconvénients
Inept customer support. Kept getting the run-around about tax withholding. We ditched them after months of frustration. Found out that they had withheld $8,000 more in taxes than they should have, and we are a small organization!

Can't be happier!!
We have been with PrimePay since 2020 when LLP was first established. We went through IRA account setup, bank account switch, pay frequency change and other small issues with PrimePay. I was a bit concerned for all major setup/change, but things have gone smoothly every time. Thank you, PrimePay!
Avantages
Their knowledgeable staff are service oriented (professional, polite and helpful) and always with prompt response. The people there are very easy to work with. I especially appreciate [sensitive content hidden], who walked through the SIMPLE IRA EE contribution and ER matching with IRS catching up rules' setup with me, step by step over several emails and a couple phone calls. Our IRS went live in early 2022, but there are items, big and small, being solved over the 4 years we have with PrimePay. Thank you!
Inconvénients
Nothing much... if I need to say something, it would be that I have waited for quarterly reports a little longer for a couple times. It really doesn't hurt anything, and that's the only thing I can think of.

It has been amazing working with PrimePay. When I was working extra hours, the whole team was constantly checking on me. They truly feel like family.
Avantages
I like the closeness of the team. I enjoy being able to work through problems with them & gain new insights!
Inconvénients
I do not have a lot of cons. I would like to see more ways to view pay & make it easier for some of our employees. I am not a fan of the positions.

horrible experience working with this company. no accountability for mistakes and they do nothing to help you after they screw up.

New Payroll Provider
Overall it's been good, but there have been issues as is expected when learning a new program and everything but I have had a good team from PrimePay helping me along the way.
Avantages
I like that the money is impounded with each payroll run and that the quarterly reports are done within the organization.
Inconvénients
I don't like that I don't have as much control as I used to with my previous payroll provider.

Terrible customer service and quality of work
Terrible service and quality of work. They are quick to bill for everything, but so slow to respond to questions. And we will be told one thing by one person, and the opposite thing from another person. I never can get a hold of the same person twice, so anyone I contact never knows what is going on.

Nothing. The customer service is terrible, and the quality of work is terrible, meaning we frequently have to reach out with questions and we get no answer most of the time. A simple question takes over a month to get a halfway satisfactory response from someone.

Stay with PRIMEPAY!
I love the reminders when I am supposed to get everyone's hours and submit so everyone gets paid on time. GREAT move adding that feature!
Avantages
I love these people! Customer service is great as I get someone to answer my "mishaps" and their babysitting technique.
The prices are not the lowest but they are fair and GREAT service is worth the extra 27 cents. I will be with them for a LONNNG time!

Overall, my experience has been very positive. I have never come away with a feeling of asking dumb questions or whatever I did can't be fixed.
Avantages
I started using PrimePay because of the Worker Comp pay as you go feature along with being a small business, insurance can be a problem to obtain. Since then I have become dependent upon PrimePay to keep me compliant with payroll and tax responsibilities.
Inconvénients
Since the rapid growth of PrimePay, I am not able to reach help as quickly as previously. In the beginning, I had a payroll specialist assigned to me and we were able to build a relationship. Now I may or may not get a return call and when I'm in panic mode it can be frustrating.

I appreciate the onboarding capabilities and a solid range of contacts that are willing to help in various focus areas like payroll, taxes, HR, etc.
Inconvénients
I wish there was a more seamless way to replicate an employee in one business to another. For example, when I have a staff member that works in both of our territories, it can be time consuming to manually add them into the second territory. I understand there's probably legal implications that make it difficult so I'm not sure I have a suggested fix.

I believe that [sensitive content hidden] really does a great job every week with doing our payroll. Knowing that it is a difficult payroll to do she gets it done in a reasonable amount of time and she is really easy to work with! All my emails are answered within a reasonable time frame, so there are no worries when I need her becauae I know she will get back to me when she can.

I like how they improved their systems and now I can always get someone on the phone with a problem if our company's representative is unavailable.
Inconvénients
I would not say PrimePay's issue, but we pay for overnight priority package and some times it never shows up to be delivered on time or at all. Also, some times the Invoices we get from PrimePay are over charged and wrong.

Better Before
I was preferred the initial procedure when I had [sensitive content hidden] contact info. and could call her for advise or issues. This year has been more challenging with a different person nearly every payday processing our payroll.
Avantages
Comprehensive service, payroll, W/C, taxes ensure correct amounts are paid on time. Do NOT like that PTO accruals are different between the PrimePay and Swipeclock employee issues at times.

Not assigned a specific human representative that I can call to discuss issues.

Great Customer Service
Best payroll company I have had the pleasure working with.

Their customer support via phone call is always so helpful and some of the nicest people!
Inconvénients
Invoice billing can sometimes get mixed up, but customer support is able to fix any issues within a few days.
