The clover station is a real piece of garbage. I have spent a ton of money to own one then it broke. The is no repair parts out there to get it fix. When I called clover, their only solution was to buy another one. For the price they make customers pay, these devices should be built to last. Mine barely worked for 2 years and the screen digitizer started malfunctioning.

Avantages

I love this app! I can easily "check in" to wherever I'm at and earn points. I used it at a coffee shop by my house and it was so simple to check in, the barista could see me on the app and would give me a punch. I would get free coffees quite frequently by using this app!

Touch screen is great with the home screen with all my options. I never have to search to perform my tasks. Being able to pull up the information on my laptop when I am not at the store is wonderful to check on sales for that day. Customer service is one touch away so you don't have to wait on hold on the telephone.

Inconvénients

I would like the software to have a training mode in order to train new employees on how to use. Even though it is super easy to use, it would be helpful to at least be able to show the new employees what to do and how to do it without actual customers waiting there while there transaction is being processed by a new person still in training.

Simple and easy to set up, can customize however you need the POS, whether it be for retail or the food industry. Also integrates other options such as payroll and time management.

Can take some time to figure out how to find some of the reports needed but overall a great program

Great little POS System. We use the Clover Flex and I would give it 10 stars for ease of use. I also love the reporting feature, so that at the end of our weeks we have a very clear report of all transactions made. I also love that it has the option to email or text the receipt to the customer, saving on wasted receipt paper.

Inconvénients

The only con I can think of is that is it sometimes cumbersome to load the receipt paper. Other than that this is a great product for a small business.

This product is super simple to use. We use the Clover mini. With different people taking payments at different times of the day, it is really simple to track who took what payment. Each user gets a unique PIN that enables us to keep tract of who is doing what.

This isn’t even really a con because there is a solution to my problem, but the clover mini does not “remember” customers from day to day. We have repeat customers, so I would like it to remember the email they want their receipt sent to. I can download an app to take care of this, but I really wish it was native to the system.

We were using a POS system that still hadn't upgraded its card reader to accept cards with chips. We decided to use Clover as just a way to charge the credit card transactions on our POS app. The app lets you charge credit cards with chips, and also logs transactions per device. This has allowed us to manage different iPad transactions separately.

The software sometimes bugged out. It would tell us it hadn't charged, but when we ran the charge the second time, it would charge people twice. Talking to support also wasn't very helpful. A lot of the times the app would time out, and support didn't know how to solve the problem.

I really enjoy the machines we use, its a combination of a card swipe but also able to print out the receipts!

I have had a few issues with the machines and their battery. Sometimes the units can get frozen and takes a while to get them up and running again. I was not too impressed with the customer service line you have to call if you have issues.

We use this for a food truck business. Clover is extremely full-featured and does so much more than we could ever use it for. It's built-in tracking systems for restaurant and foodservice operations are fantastic.

I use this to process payments at the door of a music venue, and it's perfectly functional. Nice to be able to pair the card reader to the device using bluetooth instead of having to use a headphone or power jack.

It's weird that sometimes, when I look back on the 'Transactions' screen, transactions that take place after 9pm PST that day don't show up. So I can't get a full review of my day's transactions?

It doesn't store people's info for receipts like Square does, so if they want a receipt, they have to type in their phone number or email every time.

One of my favorite things about using Clover is the easy learning curve and intuitive gui. Being so easy to navigate makes helping customers very easy and transparent for the customer.

Inconvénients

While this feature may be available on another model of their console, it would be nice if there was a fingerprint reader to unlock the terminal as we have multiple users who operate with two units. A fingerprint scanner would make it very quick and easy to change between users.

We use clover as our POS and we really enjoy it. There is a client facing part of the POS so if the want to leave a tip we don't need to ask them, creating an awkward situation. The best thing about this POS is the 4G connectivity, which was a requirement when our company was doing the football concessions for a large university stadium. It was simple to set up items and create a functional setup quickly.

This is one of the POS made by a credit card company; you do not get a choice in your credit card processor. For us, we happen to already use this processor and have a great deal set up with them, but others will likely end up paying more than expected when they get their cc processing bill. There are several charges for having this type of system that they neglect to tell you about, so it end up much more expensive than you expect. Also, the reporting is weak. We had some issues with tracking some lost sales and were unable to resolve it due to the poor tracking capabilities. For reference, we usually use Aloha for our concepts which has more reports than you could possibly ever need and would have had not issues tracking the missing sales.

Clover merchant system has tons of apps that are created by third parties as well as clover. There is a lot of different options and features with this product that allows you to quickly Easily retarget your customers.

I have been doing business with clover for a year. It is said that payments that are taken during the day are deposited into the account the next day, however this is not always the case.

Yesterday, I received an email asking me to answer a form containing more than 15 questions, concerning the source of the funds. I was also asked to send my account statement, customer invoice and customer contact details.

72 hours later, the money is still blocked and I am told that it will be processed urgently without follow-up... in addition to being very uncomfortable to send all his information by email.

I've had a business for almost 4 years and have always used payment terminals, but I don't recommend Clover. Really disappointing service.
