I don't like anything about it. This should have never been released. it's still in beta mode I would say. Not even close to user friendly... I can't stand the order it forces you to create a post in. Cant stand the calendar view does show your post images..."come on"!

It was terribly developed. skipped over the user experience. Very glitching, always has issues.

Avantages

I love that our team can preschedule the week for social and not have to worry about live posting every day. It's just a weekly task unless something time-sensitive pops up. We have a smaller team and each member focus' on more than just social, so it's great to not have to have someone constantly stop what they're doing every time a post needs to go live or schedule​ in each of the different platforms. Also, the ability​ to customize the messaging for each platform in one place after writing the general messaging is so easy!

Inconvénients

Sometimes the Instagram integration glitches and we have to stop and manually push, but it always sends a notification via email and the app if something​ doesn't go through.

I appreciate the different calendar views (list, pictures, etc) for different viewing needs. The content suggestions are very helpful and the email reminders are great when I didn't get a chance to change from draft to published.

The content suggestions are rather general. Granted, I manage the calendar for an accounting firm so our information is very specific. But i always find it helpful to see what other people in the industry are posting.

What I like most about Loomly is that the layout of the desktop site and mobile app are easy to use and simple to navigate. I love that you can schedule posts across multiple social media platforms, making it easier than ever to post new information about projects, due dates and other important documents (especially when you may not have the time each day to post certain updates). I love that you also receive email and mobile notifications about your upcoming posts.

What I like least about Loomly is that one time I scheduled a post for Friday at 4pm however the post didn't post until 6pm...not sure if that was a user mistake or if the system glitched.

The review workflow is essential to ensuring the quality of our posts. The calendar view helps us cover important dates and events. The tagging system gives us a high-level view of how often we are posting about every topic we care about.

Inconvénients

The library is pretty clunky -- there aren't folders to help keep media organized. The batch-processing options are limited -- we can't select-all and change 30 posts from draft to scheduled, for example. Still no way to post directly to Instagram, and gating that option behind the use of Loomly to manage our Facebook ads doesn't work for us because we already have an established workflow for that. The integration with Buffer works pretty well as a stopgap for posting to Instagram, though.

I love how easy it is to look back at old posts and see what you’ve posted. I really love the suggestions before posting something. And the weird holidays over on the side. I love that you can set people to certain roles where some have to get approval first. I love how easy it is to set up a post and get it posted within minutes!

I don’t like the Instagram function. It’s very difficult to schedule something on Instagram.. it might be Instagram itself, but I’ve tried scheduling videos and pictures and it seems to have different excuses of why I can’t post. It also only lets you post the first picture. I’d like to see it be able to post multiple pictures on Instagram since IG has that capability now.

The UI of Loomly's calendar is great. The layout makes it super simple to use. The customizability is awesome and I have almost all the features I have to manage posts to different channels.

I wish the analytics were able to be manipulated more - I'm paying for the lowest level though. I know the higher levels have more customizability. I also wish they had native posting to Instagram but that's something 95% of schedulers struggle with.

I wish you were more easily able to duplicate a post by simply dragging it or editing the time directly from the calendar view, rather than having to go in and edit the entire post.

It's simple, easy to use. The interface is intuitive and well thought out. There are plenty of options for social media management software, and they are all very, very expensive. This does everything we need without breaking the bank.

Inconvénients

The most issues we've had are with auto-publishing across multiple networks. Not sure if there are API issues, or connectivity issues with third parties but that is the extent of our frustration.

I have used a myriad of tools from different companies, however Loomly is my current favorite that I am also recommending to other social media professionals and online content creators. What I love most is

-Easy to use and scalable - Interface can be scaled down for one user or scaled up for multiple users/approvals.
- Helpful suggestions from current events to how to format your copy per platform.
- Generalized copy that you can customize per platform.
- You can schedule the same post for different times per platform
- Preview of what your copy and visual assets will actually look like per platform
- You can configure your Facebook scheduling from Loomly too
- Customer service has been great.

Inconvénients

The only thing that is missing from Loomly is more analytics information. Step one would be to bring in analytics from each platform. Step two would be to combine analytics across platforms. Last time I heard they are currently working on more analytics for future versions of Loomly.

It's easy to use and lets you view your content calendar across multiple channels in a single, manageable location.

The single drawback to our organization is that Instagram publishing is a manual activity. The application will send a reminder notification that it's time to publish, but a human still has to complete the process. This con is outweighed by many of the pros.

The software operates on a per user price - Having said this, it is somewhat uneconomical as user's don't work on the software at 1-go hence not providing real value.

Loomly is very easy to use. I have been able to quickly learn about the features, and share these with colleagues and clients. The different views of the social media calendar (ie. client view) are very helpful for sending out monthly calendars without inundating clients with too much information.

Inconvénients

It can be difficult to type in the date/time since it has a set format. It took some getting use to. In addition, there are some features such as tagging users in a photo on Instagram or creating different formats of Facebook posts that are not available. I have to go directly to the social media outlet to do these things rather than completing everything on Loomly.

Super easy to use. Posting is quick thanks to being able to make content for several platforms all at once. Calendar view makes it simple to see how much content is scheduled. Multi-user account with approval options makes editing and reviewing straightforward and simple.

Zero complaints. We have used other services and have had plenty of feedback. Loomly is great and appears to be constantly improving. Really excited about the new stories options and looking forward to seeing those grow in capabilities (animated text/icons/decor, etc).

Ease of organizing posts! We have started a small social media team for our bookshop after joining Loomly. We have created pages that reflect our brand and message after joining! Gained almost 5,000 with no outside targeting. Just great marketing, programing, and photography!

Inconvénients

Small features that I know you must be in the process of making! We would love to post automatically to Instagram and tag from Loomly! Coding features that we know aren't available quite yet but we eagerly await their arrival.

Thanks to reporting and statistics, I can create a strategy for myself by looking at the data. This is my favorite feature.

There is no feature that I dislike the most. The fact that it is both convenient and inexpensive makes the application stand out in its field.

I love the ability to schedule all of my facebook posts for the week ahead and batch my work. It means I don't have to think about facebook for days at a time instead of constantly be searching for and posting new content. I also love that I can schedule ahead if I happen to find something extra or have extra time and all my content is saved so if I am running low on ideas I can look back a couple months and repost something again with new flavor or spin.

I love the calendar and that I can create and manage different calendars for multiple brands. It's intuitive to use, provides valuable tips for scheduling on the various platforms, and simplifies the workflow.

I don't particularly care for the interactions feature. I can't seem to figure out how to clear things off the queue, so it feels a bit cluttered.

I like that there is a review system! Helps my team stay in the loop and keeps us all on the same page as we review and publish content.

Inconvénients

There isn't a lot of analytics behind your social performance, during the review process a LOT of emails are sent out for edits - it can be overwhelming or cause your team to miss something due to the quantity, and you can not choose one or two people of your approvers to look at a post - you can only send to one person or all. Also - When you choose to do a link preview, sometimes it posts nicely and other times, it minimizes the picture and puts the link preview to the right of the photo. Unfortunately, it will not let you choose the style you want the post to publish when using a link - and if you don't use the link previewer, your image will not be hyperlinked.

The posting limitations for LinkedIn, for example, posting multiple photos/videos are not allowed.

I wish I could pre-set ideal times to post on each platform so that I wouldn't have to set it every time I did a post. Direct publishing to Instagram is of course important but I know it's in the works right now.

Loomly is very similar to Hootsuite as they are both social media mangers and help in posting content and making sure that posts are made consistently. What I really like about Loomly is how nice the interface is compared to many of the softwares that also serve as social media managers, such as Hootsuite. I had a great time using Loomly because it was very easy to navigate around when scheduling for content to be posted on our different soical media pages.

Inconvénients

What I liked the least about this software is that there isn't anything particularly different about Loomly. There aren't any features that make Loomly any different from others and so I still think Hootsuite would be preferable to use as that is the industry standard.

I've used Loomly for 2+ years and for multiple companies, for profit and non-profit. I got in with Loomly when they first launched and have been a very happy user. Their pricing is similar to competitors like Buffer but they have a little bit more of a visual approach in their content builder, which I like. Loomly helps any social media manager make the most of their marketing with a calendar view, analytics, and post builder. My companies have grown their engagement because of the tools Loomly offers.

Inconvénients

There's a lot to make your way around on Loomly...maybe too much for the average user. If you're new to the social media game, it could be intimidating. But if you're a veteran, you probably love that Loomly offers so much to you if you click around all the different features and functions.

As the social media manager for a company who posts frequently on several social media channels, I use Loomly daily. I love the simplicity of creating and scheduling posts, as well as the ability to make edits to a post in a matter of seconds. The step-by-step process helps to keep all the information together, and the calendar layout makes it easy to see what is scheduled and what has already been published for later reference.

Our workflow has improved with the ability to easily assign posts to specific people for approval before posts publish. I manage several brand calendars and find that the post ideas found within the content calendar help generate ideas for unique posts. I also find the Advanced Analytics very useful when creating my monthly brand analysis reports.

Inconvénients

I'd like to have the option to hide Step 5, the Target Audience tab, as it is a screen I don't utilize much, if ever. I'm still waiting for the YouTube channel to be added to the list of options.

I LOVE the calendar! You can at a glance see a beautiful calendar showing days you don't have posts scheduled, or that all your days are covered. And not just a post or not, but you can color code the posts so you can see if you have too much fluffy in a row, or not enough news this week. And I LOVE that you can drag and drop!!! It is SO easy to just move the tiles around to better balance things or when I have a more pressing news story come up for a day and want to just push off the other. It's also very convenient that you can schedule facebook tags and sponsorship boosts right from Loomly, and you can tweak your wording for Twitter versus Facebook. All of these were things when using Hootsuite we had to go in and do manually or set reminders to take care of later, or track the calendar separately since I couldn't see my past posts in the same view as my future posts on Hootsuite. Now it's all there and easy - a one stop shop.

Inconvénients

The only thing I don't like is that I have to do a few extra clicks to get to the page where you edit each channel's text for a post when I pull them up in a social media committee meeting. But that's only because we don't use the built-in approval process, I have them approve in the room and schedule it myself. So I'd imagine very few others actually experiences that.

There are a number of things to love about this software:

3. Helps to streamline out social media process for both our company and our clients
4. Being able to view calendars both a list and as a calendar view

There are only two cons:

1. Scheduling directly to Instagram requires a separate Buffer account of each content calendar/client
2. At the moment, you can't customize the reports which would be of high value

The scheduling on multiple different platforms is difficult to find in a single software, which is why Loomly is so great. The collaboration tools are also great, it allows me to send social media in a fully designed format to clients for review and approval before they are posted live to their accounts.

Inconvénients

There was a bit of a learning curve in using the calendar functions and adding all f the accounts, but I could have probably spent some time going through training instead of winging it.

I really like how simple Loomly is to use, and I love the fact that I can see my posts spread out on a calendar. I tag my posts with things like 'blog post', 'news', etc too so that I can get a good idea of how diverse my content is. I also like the post preview function - in fact it's the reason I went with Loomly over competitors. It stops me having to worry about how things look when I draft content, and it saves me time checking it all afterwards. Customer service is second to none.

Inconvénients

It's a shame that their cheapest plan doesn't include better analytics. Nothing too fancy needed, but it would be good to have something other than 'Likes' and 'Retweets'. The next level up plan isn't too expensive, but it has a lot of features I'd not use as a solo, so it's not worth the extra dollars really.

Loomly is easy to use, easy to navigate, great for on the go changes with the app- which is super simple to use too- and will do pretty much everything you need it to do.

Inconvénients

When purchasing the different levels both the amount of channels and the amout of users go up together, it would be great if there was an option to just up the amount of social channels independently, but this is a pretty minor issue.

My favorite view is the calendar mode where I'm able to see everything that's going out in a particular week or month: date, time, platform, and tags.

Inconvénients

There are certain steps I could go without during post creation: Audience Targeting & Create Post. I sometimes circumvent these steps by clicking save and then exiting out of the post creation page.

I like that it will post to my business's facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, pinterest, all at the same time where I can see the posts and give them each a title so that I know what is scheduled.

Inconvénients

When they say you can post to 10 different social platforms that is not really the case. It was only 4 and has now implemented google making it 5. You can use for example 2 facebook accounts, 2, twitter, 2 pinterest, etc.

Also sometimes when pressing on a day to generate a post the wrong day pops up so you have to watch that. I have expierenced this on a phone, tablet and the computer.

I have tested many different social media scheduling applications, and Loomly by far has the cleanest interface. The calendar view of each scheduled post along with the ability to customize each post to the specific requirements of each platform is incredibly helpful. Loomly also offers content suggestions when you run out of ideas to post. It definitely tops Hootsuite and Buffer in my book!

Inconvénients

Loomly consistently updates their platform adding new features all the time, so it is difficult to come up with cons. What I might mention today may be fixed tomorrow. One thing I would like to see is the possibility to post directly to Instagram, but that is an issue that lies directly with the Instagram API.

I like the fact you can view the whole calendar month at once, plan out your posts and if you're not ready to post you can at least place a placeholder until you're ready. Super easy to use.

Inconvénients

The colors of the post status are really similar so at first glance it's difficult to tell if it's a draft or scheduled. Different colors would help.

I like the ease of use the most. I love that everything is compact - I can post to multiple sites at once for a cost that does not break the bank.

I pay for the solo use and I wish the advanced analytics could be purchased as an extra, instead of moving to the pro level. I only need 1 user but the advanced analytics would be super helpful to see!
